Tempo by Hilton New York Times Square

We had a fantastic stay at Tempo Hilton in Times Square. The hotel was very clean, felt safe and all of the employees we encountered were very friendly and helpful. It was very busy leading up to the ball drop on NYE but the staff was very efficient and pleasant despite the chaos on the streets! We stayed on the 36th floor, the room was perfect….great view, remarkably quiet, comfortable bed, nice shower. Super convenient location but once we were in the room, blissful peace and quiet! Highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for a long weekend with my daughter . Friendly welcome at the main door and fast friendly efficient check in at the lobby. ||First impressions of our room were positive. Loved the aesthetics of the bathroom. Toiletries were luxurious . |Plenty of towels available . ||The bedroom was compact but ample for what we needed . The bed was large and super comfy and the choice of lighting was a bonus . Rooms were quiet despite being on Times Square . We especially loved the floor to ceiling windows . ||The room was serviced each day with fresh bedding and towels . This was a welcome sight when we came back to the room after a busy day.||The only thing I would’ve needed is a kettle in the room to make a cup of tea in the evening . A Nespresso machine with 3 pods are available. ||This was a beautiful hotel , close to the subway and within walking distance to many attractions and lovely eateries . |Staff were always friendly helpful and welcoming . |Would have no problem recommending this hotel to anyone looking for a central hotel. An Outstanding Hotel Manager Who Truly Goes Above and Beyond Jenny is, without question, one of the most exceptional hotel managers I have ever encountered. From the very beginning of my stay, her dedication, professionalism, and genuine care were evident in every interaction. She doesn’t just manage the hotel — she elevates the entire guest experience. Jenny consistently went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. She was attentive, proactive, and always one step ahead, anticipating needs before they were even expressed. No matter how busy she was, she took the time to personally check in, resolve any concerns immediately, and make sure every detail was handled with care and precision. What truly sets Jenny apart is her warmth and passion for what she does. She creates an environment that feels welcoming, calm, and extremely well-organized. What a great hotel in the heart of Times Square! It literally looks over the far end of Times Square for a phenomenal view (picture attached). The rooms are a bit small but honestly quite sizable for New York standards. The soundproofing and the blackout curtains really block out the hustle and bustle and the bed is extremely comfortable. We got great nights sleep. The room is clean and the shower is large with good water pressure. They cleaned the room and gave us fresh towels every day. They also have wireless magnet chargers in the rooms which were great in a pinch since I forgot my phone charger. The cafe downstairs has good breakfast options and you can use your daily resort fee as a credit towards food there. The tv in the rooms are also massive and have all the streaming apps which you can sign into if you have an account so we were able to watch our shows in bed at night. Will absolutely be staying here again!

We loved our stay at Hilton!! Highly recommend staying here. The staff were the loveliest people we came across in the whole of New York, super accomodating and the doorman especially were so helpful. The rooms were spacious and newly renovated, and always felt extremely clean. Air conditioning system was great, and we loved the bathroom speaker system. The breakfast is also super good. Location is so central we were able to easily walk or catch the subway anywhere. Would recommend for anyone to stay here!!

Two night stay on 39th floor with city view. Clean room and excellent staff especially Amin at the restaurant. Hotel only two year old and everthing is digital inside the room. My kids loved it. FYI: There is a $40 per night fee on top of what you pay, but they will provide $40 daily credit which you can use either at the restaurant or at the bar. Highly recommended...enjoy stay :-)

Absolutely LOVED our experience at Tempo. The employees were all incredible. Need to give a special thank you and shout out to Bernard, Donte and Eddie! My fiancé left his phone in the cab and we realized it after we were already past security in the airport. They helped find his phone, bring it back to the hotel and ship it out to us. Thank you again, you guys are the BEST! Every single employee was so kind and did everything they could to make sure each guest was taken care of. The hotel and rooms were beautiful. I already planned another trip back to NYC and to stay at Tempo again. It will forever be my favorite hotel to go to. Great location too!

The experience my friends and I had at Tempo by Hilton Times Square was far below the standards expected of a Hilton property. The trip was meant to be a special birthday celebration in New York, yet it was overshadowed by the condition of our room — specifically, the presence of bugs that resulted in one of my guests being bitten multiple times. After checking out, I took their survey and the front desk manager contacted me about my stay and the bug situation. He simply stated, “That’s unfortunate… next time you stay with us, if there is a next time, we promise to do better.” Absolutely unacceptable! Especially for the price we paid. Thankfully the entire trip was not ruined due to negligence on the managers and housekeepings behalf. There were some positives to note —the location was superb! You were really right in the heart of it all. The bellhops and security personal were attentive, helpful, and welcoming. The Highball restaurant had a great variety of options to choose from for breakfast in the morning. Overall, our experience was good, not great. Again, not what you would expect from a Hilton hotel.

Very comfortable and convenient hotel. Especially, if you want to be smack dab in the center of the theater district. We came to NYC to visit family and catch a few Broadway shows. The Tempo was perfectly located in Times Square. Despite being in the busiest part of town, we slept very well and found the hotel to be fairly quiet. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spacious for NYC. Housekeeping was very efficient and had the room serviced early each day. On arrival, note that the lobby is on the 11th floor. There are doormen to direct you there. In the lobby is a convenience shop and a comfortable restaurant & bar area. We did enjoy a lite appetizer in the bar one afternoon in between a matinee and evening show. Well varied menu with standard NYC pricing. There were couches and nice plush chairs to sit in overlooking the city. I do recommend enjoying a happy hour in the restaurant/bar area. The guest rooms are accessible from the lobby area with your access card only. Makes for a very secure property. My only gripe was the undisclosed resort fee. I booked the hotel via my capital one card due to having travel points. On arrival, I was told that a resort fee applies to third party bookings. Take note of this! It was $35/day. I was a tad miffed at this money grab. Not really sure what classifies this as a "resort". In any event, they did provide a $10/day credit for food and beverage which I suppose is something. I'll plan to stay again for my next Broadway visit.

If you can navigate your way to your room, this is such a fun property! Don't be fooled when you walk in the front entrance; the actual "lobby" is on the 11th floor, but don't worry, someone is there to help direct you. After checking in, there is a different set of elevators to take you to your floor: press "guest room floors" on the elevator panel and then scan your guest room to be cleared. Again, someone is always there to assist; it took me a a few tries myself. The blinds can be especially tricky to maneuver so just play around with the controls especially if you have the city view. For those of us that like ice, just call the front desk and they'll bring it to your room free of charge. And they were quick too! The staff was great; Nicole up front was very helpful, thorough and personable. I will definitely return!

Start with Check-in which is really the only reason I'm dropping a star: I know check in isn't until 4 and we got there around 1, but as Diamond Honors members it's never a problem to get an early check-in. The front desk person that we went to was honestly not very friendly. I asked about an early check in and she said that would be $75. We actually said no that's ok, we'll wait. I also asked about what our food/drink credit would be and she aid $36. I don't know if she was new but she was not very pleasant. We thought twice and ended up going to another person at the front desk who was so much more welcoming. I explained as a Hilton honors diamond level it's never been a problem to check in early free of charge. She said oh no we won't charge you $75 we can get you in your room now and she even offered to bring our bags up. She also said your food/drink credit is also $46, not $36. So I don't know maybe the first person was new but the second person (Aileen) was a totally different experience. And when the front desk is usually the first impression a person gets on your hotel, I think she did a much better job of leaving a good impression especially as someone who uses the Hilton brand as much as we do. We stayed in a corner ball drop room. It was small but not that bad for two people. The shower was really nice. The best part of the room was how comfortable the bed was. You know those commercials where they leave a glass of wine on the bed and someone is jumping up and down and the glass doesn't move? Yeah it was like one of those beds. The other person moves and you'd never feel it. Noise/Light: I see others complaining the black out curtains don't really black out and I'd agree but what do you want for staying in Times Square. The light never bothered me and I could barely hear any noise from the street. (But tbh I like to listen to the city ambient sounds on my calm app so if I heard a little street noise while falling asleep I wouldn't mind) I think the positive was central location, clean rooms, and friendly staff (after the first person we talked to)

3.5* Awesome location! The bathroom is great and the skyline view too, but there is no dresser or closet and the room overall is small. Nespresso maker but powdered cream? Staff is attentive in the hotel though the coffee bar closes at 2pm, really?! Not a great setup unless you're an early bird.

Our usual plan is to check in (get an early check-in), then go to Junior's for breakfast. It took the hotel staff so long to get our room ready that we missed breakfast.The lobby was a bit unwieldily and crowded. The lady helping us first said early check in was $100, then when I protested, she said $75. It took about 40 mins for us to get our room on the 30th floor. Hotel: 4/5: Security: The lobby is on the 11th floor, which was great for security. Any unhoused, criminals etc., are discouraged to even enter the hotel because the bottom floor has the hotel security, and nothing really fancy or inviting. 3/5: Restaurants/hotel store: There is a small hotel general store and a nice restaurant in the main lobby. I wasn't too happy that the restaurant isn't open very late. Although Times Square has tons of food options all times of the night, there were a couple of nights that we wanted a late night family snack after being out all day but the restaurant was closed. 4/5: Rooms: They are TINY. Of course staying right in the center of Times Square we knew they'd be small but not this small. We didn't have enough space to lay our luggage out so the room stayed messy (sorry housekeeper, blame the building designer). We didn't have any issues with noise and the hotel was clean. 4/5: Service I had to constantly call daily for more towels. In general everyone was nice to us. 5/5: Location. If you want to stay right in the heart of Times Square, this is it. The "Red Steps" are literally across the street, and so is broadway if you plan to catch a show. Starbucks also across the street and the Hershey's store is also across the street. Too many options. Also the subway is right outside the hotel. Overall I would stay here again. There is no pool or other amenities to warrant the "resort fee" in my opinion, so I would protest it. The only "extra" was the gym.

Perfect location for us as we wanted to be closer to the action. The hotel is right next to Times Square and a short walk from Central Park. What I liked the most about the hotel besides the location is the accessibility and felt that the service was decent. The hotel feels newer. The rooms feel smaller but does have a nice view. Toiletries are from Apotheke which I enjoyed. Bathroom mirror with blue tooth. You have to go up to the 11th floor for the lobby. They have hydration stations so you can refill your water containers. I would stay here again for sure.

I enjoyed my stay at Tempo. It is in a convenient location to all the sights of New York. Courteous staff, clean hotel, great water pressure management n shower with warm water and comfortable beds. I however don't have high ratings for the restaurant/bar in the hotel. I forget the name, but the bartenders were holding down the tile, brought us one drink and we're never to be seen again. And they had the nerve to add a 20% gratuity.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience! We caught a red eye out to New York and arrived at around 6:30 am. We were so exhausted! We looked for a hotel that was modern, centrally located, and felt safe to roam around at all hours of the day. Tempo by Hilton Time Square was the perfect fit. We were helped by a wonderful lady at the front desk. She was kind and welcoming. She offered us early check in for $100+ and that was well worth the price for a quick power nap! The hotel was spacious and gorgeous. The bed was comfortable. They had many amenities. I appreciated the usb c outlets throughout the room. The elevators were efficient so we were not waiting long for them to take us to our floor. The people were so kind. I loved this hotel and would visit again in a heartbeat! Thanks for a wonderful experience, Tempo.

First off I was actually able to fall asleep at a hotel in the middle of Times Square which is incredible. Room was nice and modern..small but---it is NY. Good staff. Only pain part is the two elevators to get to the room. At first I was a bit put off by the espresso machine. But---three espressos later it won me over. Maybe an upgrade from podered cream to liquid for a place that can run up to $1000 a night. :)

Yes..the rooms are small..YES THE ROOMS ARE AMAZING!!!! They only had king beds available and I think that's perfect for a time alone or romantic couples trip. I personally liked the small space. The room was super clean and well kept..Not a hair,not a crumb left behind. The bathroom was my favorite with the multiple shower heads and blue tooth mirror. I play to purchase one at my house when I upgrade. The staff were all friendly and helpful! The service was impeccable even when ordering drinks from the restaurant. We were given a room on the 28th floor but I requested to move lower because I have no desire to be that high. The 17th floor was high enough. You are literally a hop from all the action of Times Square and subways station. I plan to return to Tempo!

If you want to be right in the heart of Times Square, this is the place for you! The location is fantastic, with breathtaking views, spacious rooms, and top-notch customer service from start to finish. Even though I spent most of my time exploring the city, there's so much to see and do right around here, and it's all within easy walking distance. Take advantage of this incredible luxury hotel to experience the best of New York City!

Clean, great staff, entryways monitored to ensure random strangers don't roam the halls. Overall delightful stay. Quiet and relaxing space

So glad we made reservations here cuz it was literally a block from Times Square. Not all taxi drivers knew it cuz it's supposedly new. By today although the address was 1568 Broadway, they were on 47 th. If I said Hershe building that helped too. Many super friendly employees. We were upgraded to the 44 th floor. One of our drapes was crooked on an angle and couldn't go down. A bright I light shown through the entire nite. We had a king bed and the room was vey narrow like a Toyoko inn room. The bath amenities were good quality on the counter and in the shower. Really nice folks like Dino and John.

It's nice cause it's new and just a block from time square and walking to broadway shows is easy. That's great if you want to be there. Just all very pricey and their staff not exactly on top their game. Communication is friendly though. They don't do anything special if it's your birthday or any other special day. They should work on that. Rooms are nice and small and you can still hear horns etc from outside which is not ideal but not too bad. Was on 27th floor. The room next to us had a snorer and could hear that too through wall. Highball is nice and the coffees and food was ok. Nothing special but it's there and convenient.

If you want to be in the heart of Times Square, Tempo is for you. If you like boutique hotel style, this is for you. We stayed in a double bedded room and I was pleasantly surprised at the space of the room. It was tight, but better than I expected. There are master controls for the lighting and window shades that automatically go up and down when you leave the room. The controls are right by the door on above the night stand. The desk is nicely placed in a little nook facing the window. We had a slice of a view of Times Square and were on a higher floor so that was nice. There is a small rack to hang 8 pcs of garments, a small shelve above it and a a place below the rack to store your luggage. There is also a hanging rack for jackets by the door. The bathroom is bright and clean. It has a mirror that can be lit separately and also paired to bluetooth to play music. The shower has a handheld wand or you can use the rain shower. Amenities include shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, though our shower gel was pretty much empty upon arrival. There is no fan in the bathroom. The barn door is solid and flush to the doorjam but can't be secured with a lock. You also get a small fridge if needed. When you first arrived on the sidewalk, you encounter the bell desk. You can't access the front desk or lobby until you take an elevator up. This makes it feel a little more secure. When you get up to the lobby, you can check in and take a second set of elevators up to your floor. The hallways are narrow as in NYC standards. There is small water refill station next to the front desk, and you can pick up some food items and coffee at the restaurant across from the front desk. Overall, I appreciated the modern design and cleanliness of the room and bathroom. I don't necessarily need to stay in Times Square when I come to town, but it's nice to have a lot of restaurants and cafes close by.

My father booked this hotel for me to celebrate my graduation and this hotels staff service is beyond professional, the service is out of the world. Special shoutout to Hank for following the notes my father gave and accommodating me! The hotel has been renovated and it's like from the future. It's so modern and right next to the red steps. Very convenient location. Will definitely return and i definitely recommend this hotel to all.

Arrived to check in early Saturday morning. They have a $160 early check in fee or the option to leave your luggage with bell-check and explore the city until 3pm. We chose the latter. A nice front desk attendant recommended two breakfast spots to us and we headed off. Returned around 2pm and hung out in the cafe. Very overpriced options. I paid $9 for a small bottle of apple juice, yikes! (We headed to CVS to get snacks) when we returned our room was ready. Elevators are fast. Very narrow bedrooms. Beautiful bathroom. All aspects of the room are updated and modern. Beautiful lighting. The bathroom mirror has Bluetooth capabilities and tons of lighting settings. Rainfall shower and shower wand feature in bathroom. Water in the bathroom gets very very hot lol I love it, but be careful. I love the automated curtain and sheers feature on the light switches. Accommodations include fridge which is always a plus. Room only had one washcloth, called down to the front desk from the room phone to ask for more and no answer. Very disappointing. Full size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash and lotion are provided. Blow dryer in the room. Lots of storage for suitcases and hanging items. No microwave, always a bummer/ House keeping service was up to par. I do think they're stingy with the wash cloths. We had to find a housekeeper in the hall to ask for additional. However, cleanliness was consistent throughout our entire stay. The views here are impeccable and it's centrally located to almost everything imaginable on Times Square. I would most definitely return to stay.

Enjoyed my time at Tempo by Hilton Times Square! The service at the condo was amazing, I didn't have time to check out any of the amenities but just our room alone had great views, and was in a really good location for us to be able to visit a lot of different places in New York. A lot of people told me not to stay in Times Square, but we honestly enjoyed it and would happily return. Only reason I give it four stars instead of five is because when all of the ads were coming up to book, it said free breakfast, and when we got there, there was definitely no free breakfast. And on top of that their restaurant menu could definitely be improved. Every time we ate there we were definitely disappointed. But other than that we had a great time !

The place that charges $800 a night for a small room and gouges you another $75 for an early arrival check-in. Nice.

Stayed two nights on mixed business/pleasure trip. Pros: * Clean. * Good location if you're looking to be near Times Square or Theater District. * Front desk responsive when called for assistance. Cons: * Service uneven. Room was short on toilet paper and Kleenex - but a call to front desk remedied this quickly. Room was also missing small wash clothes. Second evening wash clothes were provided but bath mat missing. Sort of service gaps you might expect in a hotel opening. * Room refrigerator wouldn't get cold - I called front desk and they sent 2 people from 'engineering' - they said this was a "green" fridge - i.e., not a fridge at all but rather a "cooler"? Frankly a useless piece of furniture - not sure its purpose but the food I put in it got warm and had to be discarded. For these price points, I'd look elsewhere for my next stay in Manhattan.

Horrible elevator system. The entrance is on two different levels and the door men are not pleasant. Paying way too much money for not being able to even have your DoorDash delivers to your door.

Welcome to the Tempo Hotel or better known as the "Panty Thief" hotel where you can expect your belongings to be stolen by the housekeeping staff! The last thing I expected when my fiancé booked a trip to New York for NYE was to become a victim of a crime. Upon arrival at this hotel, I found the floors to be filthy with gum, black-sticky smudge marks, and white flakes scattered throughout the room. I spent the first day at this hotel doing the housekeepers job, and wiping the floors down with Lysol wipes. My fiancé complained to the front desk and they promptly sent the housekeeper to the room to confront us. Her words, "I heard you made a complaint about the room not being clean." We left the hotel and came back later to find our clothes missing. Most embarrassing of all, our underwear! The next 5 hours dealing with hotel management became a humiliating and painful experience. We were at first told that our items were thrown in the trash by the housekeeper, then told that they found our items, then later when talking to the front office manager, he says that they are gone. I ask, "gone where?" He says, "They don't have them and that they are gone." How is that possible when trash pickup isn't until the next day and we were told we can have our items from the trash? If the hotel can't account for our property, and neither can we as guests, it means property has been stolen. The manager thought a $140 deduction from the daily resort fee was a reasonable compensation for the loss of our items that cost well over that deduction. I've stayed at many hotels in different countries/states that have less money than the Hilton hotel brand and this has never happened before. The first time staying at the Hilton hotel and I'm robbed. This location hires staff that take out their frustrations on guest and employs an incompetent hotel manager to match. My advice, don't stay here. And if you have to, lock up everything and allow the housekeepers to clean the room at your own risk. I regret my stay at this hotel.

Never stay at this hotel low and poor quality of rooms damage front door never fixed and it was reported also pay for a room that i didn't get over charge you a lot some one called me today from hotel service experience i asked about the rate she said i don't have access to your reservation details i recommended everyone do not stay at this hotel they will not accommodate you on the type of room that you pay for and never fixed the front door of room NEVER RECOMMENDED

Very much a boutique/lifestyle hotel. Staff is very friendly and the views are amazing. Right in the heart of Times Square!! I'll be back.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Tempo by Hilton for our first New York trip together. We could not have asked for more in terms of the level of accommodations provided to us at Tempo! Specifically we want to thank the front desk manager, Destiny who went out of her way and above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant and smooth as possible. The rooms were small but comfortable, luxurious and clean. The hotel location is prime, and were greeted warmly by the hotel staff each and every day. Despite being a brand new hotel, the hotel staff proved to be knowledgable, and above all else, incredibly hospitable in the way they value their guests, especially DESTINY - she's amazing! We'd gladly recommend Tempo to friends, families and curious strangers who read this review :)

Recently stayed here for my daughter's 12th birthday! For the "NYC EXPERIENCE" .. Beautiful view of Times Square! We had the ball dropper room!! it was small but beautiful. The staff was amazing!! No attitude extra helpful! The guys who helped with our luggage was awesome! Oh n for the older crowd a heads up.. everything is digital! Best part .. live band... plugs everywhere for charging your laptop, phone, etc.. the view from the restaurant was cool too! We will be back! Downside was the buildings internet wasn't working so she couldn't watch Netflix on the tv and there was no microwave in the room. (Something we missed from other hotels) lmao trains were a hop skip away. Walking to everything was amazing.

I stay at Tempo Hotel by Hilton in Times Square, and it was nightmare! I find bed bugs in my room, crawling on bed like little monsters! I am so scared of bugs, I almost jump out window! I try to sleep, but every time I close eyes, I imagine bugs crawling on me. I call front desk, but they say, "No worry, we fix it." But how I can sleep knowing bugs are there? I leave hotel in middle of night, no way I stay in place with bugs! This was worst experience ever. I give one star, but if I can give zero, I would! Never again!

Love this hotel for not only its location but it is also so incredibly clean! It was what drew me to it, based on the reviews, & it certainly did not disappoint! The rooms are not huge, but that's what it is in NY & it certainly didn't detract from the overall pleasant stay - I would definitely choose this hotel if I'm in NY again - it's an all round winner!

Hands down the cleanest hotel that I have ever stayed in midtown. The elevator system is incredibly efficient; you wait no longer than 1 minute for an elevator. It is so spacious, with a huge bathroom for this part of the city. The are no carpets in the room so it feels incredibly clean. The bedding was nothing spectacular though comfortable. The location was absolutely perfect, we came for our daughter's birthday to see Hamilton which was a block away. I would certainly stay here again if returning to midtown, highly recommend this hotel!

I stayed at the tempo by Hilton for my bday! It was a wonderful experience and the view was unmatched .

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The room was small but no different than any other NYC room. It was clean and had a nice view. Despite being in the heart of Times Square, I heard no noise at all. The staff was friendly and checkout was quick and easy. There was free WiFi for Honors members too. The only detractors were the difficulty in finding a cab based on the closed off streets in frontof the hotel, the lack of a room clock, and the dearth of electrical outlets in the room.

Had an amazing stay at this fine hotel during the Thanksgiving Break. Excellent amenities and superb service. A specail shout-out to Amin for going above and beyond! Highly recommended!

Great hotel right in the middle of everything! My husband and I stayed for three nights. The hotel is brand new and the room, while small (hey, it's Manhattan), was state of the art and very clean. I was surprised that housekeeping serviced the room each day. I don't think I've had that experience in years. Most theaters will be a short walk from this hotel - the two that we attended were about five minutes away. The staff were friendly and helpful. Bianca and the entire security team are great. The only negative is that there is a $50 early check-in fee for Hilton Honors members. Not sure if this is a new Hilton policy or just at this hotel, but I've never been charged to check in early. They still get five stars from me (just not an extra $50). Would stay here again.

Stayed here 2/8/24, my daughter got four bites and we found this bed bug on the bed!! It was such a distressing experience as the front desk agents and the manager were very unprofessional at handling the situation! Was near implying that we were lying. They all do not know what customer service is! Wouldn't recommend. Disgusting!

This hotel is shitting ridiculous we have just lived three days with three hundred days unsatisfactory. The front desk deliberately stop the card that not allowed his customers to literally get into the room! And we spent almost an hour in front of the front desk to prove that we are who we are! About the valet parking, uh huh another ridiculous thing! We paid 70 dollars per night for it, but we can't get the car back. We are told that we need to ask the front desk an hour before because of the specially 'high' efficiency. However, the front desk would tell you that the one hour waiting is nonsense, you must walk to the garage and get the car on your own. When we walk to the garage with a lot of luggage, the garage man would tell you that the car is just in front of the hotel!

I stayed here during my first trip to NYC and a flash flood arrived at the same time. I was going to go buy an umbrella and asked one of the staff if they knew were I could get one but she said she had an extra umbrella i could use!! Thank you again Bianca, your kindness really warmed my heart and I really appreciate the service here at this hotel!! I would definitely recommend staying here and big shout out to Bianca for going the extra mile for me!!!

After our 5 nights stay, I could say it's my worst hotel stay ever. The bed is not comfortable. The room is too narrow. Very uncomfortable. I do not recommend. I stayed at Hyatt Centric before, it's way better.

Great visit to NYC! This hotel is right in the action of Times Square and we never heard any street noise while we are sleeping. By nyc standards this room was quite large for our family of four (queen beds! Hard to find) Walkable to tons of shops and restaurants. We'd stay here again!

We absolutely loved staying at Tempo! After a long night at airport Colleen was so sweet to us. I'm so glad we chose to stay at Tempo for our Wedding Anniversary- we decided to upgrade our room to the Ball drop/Timesquare view & man it was so worth it! The room is the perfect size with a roomie bathroom and great shower. It was very clean! Just wish there was more restaurant & store option in the actual hotel. Also need a drive up spot for Uber pick ups. Other than that we loved our amazing view & how clean the hotel was! We will definitely stay aga

The hotel has some nice upgrades but I was really disappointed in how much the hotel charges for early check-in. I have never been to a hotel that charges to check-in early and I have stayed at many Hilton properties. Most hotels will provide a courtesy to their customers and allow them to check-in early if a room is available. When we arrived, I told the lady that we had a red eye flight and were exhausted. She said no problem and that we could check-in early. Little did I know that it would cost $172. We also had an issue with our comforter being dirty (fresh food stain) and I asked if our sheets could be switched out. They advised us that they would send the maid up to switch them out. When we got back to our room, the bed was made with the same dirty comforter.

Clean, upscale, modern hotel right in the heart of Times Square! The room is a perfect size for 2 people, beds were comfortable. Loved this hotel!

This hotel has the best Friday night experience. Saw an amazing band All of The Above. The singer has a beautiful voice and the instrumentalists are out of this world. This will keep me coming back and bringing friends. We came for dinner and stayed for the entertainment.

The TV was likely not properly connected to the WIFI and none of the apps were working on the TV. I called the front desk through the phone and it was busy with no answer, which was fine they were probably just busy. I went down to the lobby to ask the guy about the Netflix app not working and he was very quick and dismissive to tell me it was my issue with my own Netflix. I was able to log in and play shows normally through my phone which is what I had to end up using for the rest of my stay. Disappointing because the room was very nice and clean, but the front desk service was not great. :(

Super friendly staff and the newer well-appointed rooms were a nice retreat (with the beautiful chaos that is Times Square right outside!)

Spent four nights here recently. The room was very clean, and the room was cleaned every day we stayed. The location is fantastic and we were on a high floor, so even though it is Times Square, the room was mostly quiet. One thing to note is that the restaurant/bar charges an automatic gratuity but you don't know that when you are paying at the counter, and you are asked if you want to add a tip at the kiosk/pin pad. I didn't realized this when I bought coffees every day, so I would add a tip. Also, there is a refrigerator case with waters, sodas, prepared food, etc., so you are also automatically charged a gratuity on them as well. When I reviewed a receipt later on, I discovered I had been double tipping.

Unbelievable, it's the holidays and the amount of disrespect is astounding... as a paying customer when going to counter having a full staff and no one greeting you is frustrating. Aside from that our valet which is $95 a day was forgotten - took them 1.5hrs+ to get our car making us late to a holiday event. Expect the following: scaffolding outside the building, no clear indication of valet, no one to answer phones, no customer service, no amenities in the room such as water, shower cap, qtips (not big deal), electric blinds constantly getting stuck, poor management. I do not recommend and rather pay more for quality - I thought this would be it, nope just clean and new.
