Tempozan Ferris Wheel

JY900 per adult. We waited about 20min for a glass bottomed gondola. It was not busy if you just wanted an ordinary one. You could walk straight on. The ride takes around 15min and you do one rotation of the wheel. The views of Osaka are amazing and well worth the ride. Staff were very friendly. It's next to a good shopping centre as well.

I highly recommend taking a ride on the Tempozan Ferris Wheel if you are visiting the area! I booked a ticket in advance through KKday, and I recommend that as you can walk straight through to the entrance. It was inexpensive enough that I rode it twice, once for the sunset view and another at night to see the city lights. It was well worth it, and it’s a nice little way to rest a bit after walking a lot. The full ride is about 15 minutes, and it’s even air conditioned inside each gondola. I took the transparent gondola once and the regular once. If the wait is 10 minutes or less I recommend choosing the transparent for a slightly more open view, but I don’t think it’s worth waiting in line too long. The regular one has just as nice of a view and you can get on right away. The ride is nice and relaxing and there is plenty of time to get pictures from all sides. This was a highlight on my afternoon trip to the aquarium and I definitely recommend trying the Ferris wheel!

Go ONLY IF YOU DONT HAVE VERTIGO! You can see the whole city from yo there. I had the luck of witnessing a firework show from not so far away. Great experience for all the family. A MUST If you went to the Aquarium. It's just a few meters away!!!

Ticket prices for adult 900¥ the ride takes around 15 minutes and you do one rotation of the wheel. The view of Osaka is amazing. There was no queue when we get there buy a ticket. I guess coming in the evening or night time would be better. Worth the ride

The Ferris wheel ride was a truly enjoyable experience and one of the highlights of our visit. We were pleasantly surprised by the short line—it moved quickly, and we barely had to wait at all before boarding, which made the experience even more convenient and stress-free. While the gondolas themselves show some signs of age and could benefit from a bit of refurbishment, they were still clean and comfortable enough for a pleasant ride. Once at the top, the panoramic views were absolutely breathtaking. Seeing the cityscape from such a height offered a unique and memorable perspective that made the ride well worth it. In terms of cost, the ticket price was very reasonable for what the experience offered. Overall, it was a great value and a wonderful way to spend a few relaxing moments enjoying the scenery from above.

We went there in the morning. It’s easy to navigate from the osakako station. We chose the transparent gondola since there were few people. I think the regular gondola would be just as nice as the transparent one. The whole ride took around 15 minutes, and the AC was so so it should be colder since we were there almost 12 noon. Very nice views of Osaka, the port area, universal studios, and even the expo can be seen. Would recommend this ride when you’re in the area! You can also purchase tickets beside the cashier where there is a vending machine.

This wheel is really huge, and the view around it is quite nice — not spectacular, but pleasant. Honestly, I wouldn’t travel here just for this. We had an Osaka Pass and took a ferry trip, so we thought, why not ride the wheel too? There were almost no people. We had to wait a bit longer for the glass-floor cabins(10 min), but in my opinion, it’s not worth it — the regular cabins are just fine.

This Ferris wheel is absolutely massive—one of the biggest in the area! It’s so tall you can tilt your camera all the way up and still struggle to fit the whole thing in the frame. The scale is just breathtaking. The engineering behind it is truly impressive. Despite its height, the ride feels incredibly stable and smooth. It may not take too long to complete one rotation, but once you’re up there, the height is very real—and the views are totally worth it. A must-try for anyone who loves a mix of thrill, design, and scenery!
