Ten Dollar Town Motel

Nice venue, food was ok, not what I expected for a country town breakfast, poached eggs looked and tasted like they were microwaved, sausage was good, table service would have made a difference to us feeling welcomed. Thanks for Breakfast

The office is conveniently located in a historic building in the main street. The rooms are large and modern and had everything we needed, including a microwave oven and an induction cooktop. Breakfast was provided in a neighbouring restaurant.

Great midpoint trip stop. Fabulous, friendly staff, great food and clean rooms. The only issue was that the mattress was a little too firm for an 82Kg me. Otherwise absolutely fine. Best crumbed cutlets I've had in years.

Great motel. Rooms are large and roomy. Staff are old school super friendly and thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. Recommend staying here and will be back.

We had stayed at this Motel a couple of times before. So coming thro again, I knew where we would stay.||Booked a twin room incl breakfast for $143 for 1 night.||I did not realise this until I came to do the review.||We were allocated Room 10. Its a very nice double room with parking out the front.||It has a kitchenette incl sink. Induction stove, microwave & enough cooking utensils to cook some dinner if you felt like doing so. We were going out to dinner, however, & breakfast is provided, so no cooking for us. Air con & ceiling fan & electric blanket on the bed. Everything is in good working order|| wifi works well & there is a tv.||The windows are openable, which I always really like.||The ensuite is smallish & the shower has a rain shower head. There is a retractible clothes line too, which is an excellent idea for those on a longer road trip.||The motel located right in town with easy walking to eating places for dinner.||||Breakfast is complementary with the room. It is held in the restaurant Larsens across the road from 7am. It is very generous & incl a choice of poached eggs & bacon & tomato, baked beans, savoury mince or cereal, yogurt fruit & a coffee, tea hot choc or juice, all served by pleasant staff. You can choose more, but that comes with a reasonable price tag. We chose the lighter choice of cereal, yogurt & fruit, which was excellent.||||Even though the motel is located on a corner & right in town, it was very quiet & we slept well.||||This motel still represents very good value given the complementary breakfast & the very comfortable room. ||It did not matter to us that the bed configuration was not what I booked.

We attend here for 1 night. It was extremely clean and had everything you wanted. When we arrived the handyman was so helpful and very welcoming. The owner of the Motel also owns a cafe and makes the best coffee in town. We were given a complimentary breakfast and it was amazing. I had 2 poached eggs with 1/2 sliced avocado with hollandaise sauce. My husband had the big break and he loved it.The chef did a great job as I am a chef myself. The presentation was very excellent

Room is comfortable and clean.|This is our second visit to this facility.|Last time we visited there weren’t the vast number of contract workers staying here. Have to be very mindful of noise as many rooms house shift workers. That being said they were quiet and respectful of other guests.|The Receptionist has a distinctly unusual modus operandi. He engages in banter then keys in the dollar amount, without first checking to see if you agree to the price or actually letting you know what the price is.|He did this exact same thing 18 months ago. |The saving grace is the included hot breakfast which is well executed. |Coffee is made to order and of good quality. So the price of the room $170 includes two cooked breakfasts and beverages. |The township’s old fashioned shop fronts are at your door step.
