The hotel ambiance was lovely and quiet with really nice riverview, but the hotel is down an alley and not a very walkable location. Note that the hotel does provide an amazing free shuttle tuk tuk or boat to certain areas, but it was only drop off. Grab was not expensive to get back though. This was also the first resort hotel in which I had to pay for ice in addition to a service fee and tax. The pool river view room was very nice 👌 and the showers were amazing, but the water made my skin very dry. Service was also very good, many smiles on faces throughout the property.

I have been pleasantly surprised by this lovely boutique hotel! So charming, esthetically beautiful, modern comfortable rooms, wonderful staff, food, and location. The staff have been wonderful, especially owner or manager Nick. As a solo traveler from the USA they have all gone out of their way to make me comfortable, and teach me the more cultural aspects of Bangkok. The daily breakfast type buffet set up was delicious, which also includes amazing entree type foods to order. My servers Tong & Ploy were lovely, helpful, and so sweet. I enjoyed all of the Thai type breakfasts, and their Thai iced coffee/tea is heavenly. I was also able to enjoy lunch on arrival, and dining one night for dinner. The grounds are meticulously cared for day & night, it is a very clean hotel. 2 beautiful pools, a workout room, and a rooftop bar. Also, a very quiet establishment, I heard no adjoiningroom noise. The water taxi is a bonus, as well as a valet for your arrival or departure needs. I have found no negatives, so any biased reviews must have been looking for flaws or have some interesting expectations. I think you get what you give while you travel to different countries, and I have the utmost respect for the beauty, care, and hospitality of this accommodation. I am sad to leave this charming hotel on the riverside, but it was the perfect start to my journey in Bangkok!!

I had an amazing stay at this hotel, booking the Duplex Pool Suite is the right thing to do. I had my privacy and my own rooftop pool. The food was delicious at the breakfast buffet with accompanying a la carte choices. The staff at the dining are great and always smiling, however the reception staff seem stern, mechanical and not so smiling. There was an incident at 1am when a couple came back and smoked in the room, we were woken by the fire alarm ! quite an experience. Overall a good place to relax and recover, if you don't mind the location been far from most places, even ICON SIAM is 20 mins away.

Very nice hotel by the river. Not so massive as a big tower hotel. Very very friendly and helpfull staff, the staff at the reception helper us find our way around Bangkok and book tickets, thank you Boy, Mim and Bom😃 And thanks to all staff at the restaurant. Hotel is a bit out of the main attractions bug with a Grab taxi or taxi from hotel voor around 250 baht your everywhere in 20 min. Nice boat transfer from hotel to the big mall Icon Siam or Suthon, Essen to take transport from there to the attractions. We didn’t see the tuktuk so don’t know about that! Swimming pool on roof is fantastic! Esther

Rooms neat and tidy. Very comfortable and well designed with modern features. River view is amazing. Staff extremely friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help. Had some trouble getting there the first time with the Grab driver. However once I knew where the hotel was located I could easily assist the driver. Restaurant at hotel has amazing food and good variety. I highly recommend checking this hotel out

TLDR: Beautiful Rooms, polite staff, a couple of quirks that could use more attention. We had asked if it was possible to check in a few hours early, as we had travelled over 30 hours and arrived at 6 am, but they charged us the cost of two additional nights just to check in 4 hours early. The view from the private pool suite was beautiful. The room is very nice, having a private plunge pool overlooking the river was a highlight - but do not expect too much privacy, anyone on the lawn of the hotel (where the ferry picks people up) can see you in the pool or in your room if the curtains are open. Some pool suites looked like they had some foliage to make it more private, but our private roof area could be seen from other parts of the hotel, which made it seem less intimate/romantic. There is no price list next to the minibar, so be sure to ask the staff directly for prices before consuming things. It was unclear what was complimentary and what would incur a charge. The lights in the room were not commonsensical, and it took us a day to find that the lights for the shower were on a wall in the living room. We had one light that would not turn off with the rest, but taking our keycard out to turn off all the lights fixed this issue. We tried to mention this to an owner who expressed a willingness to hear any feedback, but he got defensive as soon as we started to explain our challenges. I notified the staff ahead of time of my dietary restrictions (gluten free), but this was not communicated to every department. We had amenities arrive (chocolate covered strawberries) with things I was allergic to (cookie pieces), and there were not a lot of gluten free and vegetarian options for breakfast. Would not recommend the addition of the candle-lit dinner, it was not particularly romantic or special. It was set on the rooftop, and when it started to rain we asked if they could deliver the final course (desert) to our room, but they never did. The desk staff were polite, but gave contrasing information. Some said that the shuttle ferry could take us to the market across the river with the ferris wheel but others said this wasn't allowed. It was a rare find to have a pool suite in Bangkok, so for that luxury I would recommend the hotel.,

Throughly enjoyed our stay at the Ten Six Hundred. We had a great room, with a wonderful view. The breakfast was fantastic, as was the rooftop bar. Such beautiful views. Service was great, and a special mention should go to Nick, who was everywhere at all times. Tuk-tuk service to the BTS. Boat service to Icon Siam. Such a beautiful setting. Thanks so much!

The hotel is right on the river and has great views of all the activity on the river. If you are suffering from Jet lag, this is a quiet and comfortable place to stay. I honestly don’t believe I have ever stayed in a quieter place in the heart of a city. If you need to just rest and stay put there is a restaurant, rooftop bar, pool, and gym. It is not in a touristy area, which for us was wonderful because we could experience the local culture easily. It is walking distance from some great street food and an authentic small street market. With the help of a Hotel sponsored tuk tuk or ferry, you can access some of the major sights as well as the excellent subway system. The owner was readily available and very helpful, As were all the staff. If you need anything, they will figure it out. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
