Was supposed to have a manicure and pedicure services, but they called ahead to canceled my manicure due to staffing conflicts. OK cool, no big deal.
Arrived 15 minutes early to my pedicure appointment per instructions. I got bored of the gift shop and asked if I can sit in the lounge. They said no, it's for people getting services. I said, but I am getting the pedicure, and they said "massage services, you're getting salon services and unfortunately they don't count".
I'm not asking for the robe, I want a place to sit and maybe get water while I wait. The front desk says I can get my water outside in the neighboring pool bar and use the outdoor benches.
I don't know what type of front house operation they're running, but I felt cheapened of the "first impression" experience over the TYPE of services you're going to get.
Actual pedicure was great! The technician gave me all the cucumber water I wanted from what I suspect is their "spa" lounge area, and the place was clean and sanitary. (Tools were removed from sealed pouch.)
Front house policy needs to review how they treat paying customers. Again, I understand that you don't want to give me a robe, but to tell me to get water somewhere else when you told me to come early is dumb and disrespectful.
