Tennessee Safari Park

Tennessee Safari Park was SUCH a fun experience!! I absolutely loved it — truly one of those one-of-a-kind things you don’t get to do every day. Being able to drive through and see all the animals up close was so exciting and just felt different from a regular zoo visit. I had the best time the entire day. My only regret is not getting there earlier so I could feed the giraffes — that’s definitely happening next time! If I lived closer, I would go all the time without even thinking twice. Loved it, loved it, loved it and can’t wait to go back! 🦒✨

Absolutely wonderful experience! So clean and well kept. The animals were a lot of fun to visit with. Be warned the zebras are a bit extra but still enjoyable. When you go to do the drive through, you buy buckets of food to feed the animals. Bring a bag with you though to take the food out so you don’t lose all the food right away. The animals right off the start are eager to snack and will steal your buckets

This is definitely a great place to go. The drive-thru part is amazing. Most of the animals will come right up to your car without hesitation. It is also much bigger than it seems, so be sure to grab 1-3 more buckets of feed than you think you'll need to make sure it lasts until the end. And the walk through part is also great. If you are in the area, trying to find something to fill the day, and love animals, this is the thing for you.

Had an amazing time feeding all the friendly animals! Loved the goat petting area, they were so sweet! The llamas and ostriches were always running to the vehicle to be fed 🤣 they were comical! Thank you for the great experience.

Fun place to visit if you love animals and don't want to have to watch them behind glass or in a cage. Plenty of direct interactions, petting and a whole lot of laughter. I was Bullied by the ostriches acting as security, and the zebras are definitely down to rob you! I lost two buckets of food in the first 10 minutes! The camels really are in a class of characters right out of a comic book! They are most certainly not shy, and will wash your windows for a few buck*ets of grain! I have great friends now, in high places... the gentle giant giraffes were the sweetest! But watch your wigs, weaves and hats... The petting zoo started off sloooooooow, with the sloth house. Seems like that's the best place to just "hang around". If you have kids, grandkids or are just a kid at heart like me, it's worth the trip to get your fur babies fix!

We had such a good time at this drive though safari. Feeding the different animals was a blast. Make sure you hold onto your buckets! Those animals are smart and will try and steal the whole thing. Also make sure you don't miss the walk through part as well. We were able to pet a giraffe!

We laughed so hard and had a great time. The animals are very smart and will take your tub if possible. One of the best places I've been to as far as animal attractions.

Actually went because the kiddos wanted to see and feed animals but found the experience fun. Many different animals to see, they come up close and personal especially to eat from white cups. This is a family fun adventure. I suggest getting the 4 for $10 feed cups because the animals can eat.

The animals won this time, but it was such a fun experience being out in nature and feeding them. I went around 11am, and the wait time for purchasing tickets and getting feeding cups was short. Some animals were quite eager and took two of the feeding cups, but luckily, I had purchased four. The safari park is a great getaway for kids, family, and friends. I'll definitely be returning for Thanksgiving!

So much fun, but don't expect to leave with a clean car. Kids loved it, ostrich are always out for food. The animals have learned to grab the buckets from your hands and take them. The camels are the best at it. There's a deal for 4 buckets for $10 I'd personally get 2 of those deals I only got one and the giraffes are last and I didn't have enough food. Lamas are so funny, they will stand in front of the vehicle until you roll down your window to feed them. The walk through zoo was super cute and you don't really need a stroller because it's kinda small and the kids are out playing and feeding the animals. Buffalo are super cool.

This place is great! We made a stop on our way home from Memphis and it really made for a fun afternoon. The place is so clean and well cared for, these animals are safe and clearly very happy in their new environment. At first my husband and I thought the cost was a little high, but by the time we finished up for the day we both agreed that we definitely got our money's worth and would pay to return again in the future. Even my teen/preteen boys were cracking up. So many laughs, and even though my car was totally covered in safari food afterwards it was a really good time . Highly recommend!

So so so much fun! Highly recommend this place. We had a blast feeding the animals. Plus the walk thru petting zoo was cool. Love this place.

The Safari Park is a fascinating place to discover and interact with some of the most desirable animals in the world. We came on a misty, rainy day and we could not have enjoyed the park more. There is a section that you can walk around in and see the animals and exotic birds. There is also a drive through part. We did both and enjoyed every minute! The only thing that I would add is signs on the fences stating exactly what the animals were that we were seeing. The paper given when you pay the $20 park fee per adult only gives you a list of the animals; some we could not figure out what they were.

Nice park. Limited kinds of animals but many, many animals to see during drive part. Careful though, these animals are very aggressive and have learned to block your path and try to upset your food cup to spill it on the floor. Our food cups lasted about 300 feet before camels yanked it out of my hand.

Great local fun, enjoyable for the entire family from 8 months to 80. You stay in your vehicle and drive through the 5.5 acres and see animals in their habitat. It is a zoo in your car. Buy plenty of food for the animals because some are aggressive and at take the entire bucket from your hands. Be prepared to wash ur vehicle afterwards because the animals literally walk right up to your door. No concession stand so have snacks and water for yourself.

Had a really nice time here some animals can be aggressive but they are cute and HARMLESS just want the food . lol

We decided to give this place a try on our trip even with some of the negative reviews. We had a blast! It's up to you what you make of the experience. Yes the staff is not very friendly, yes the ostrich are aggressive, so are the Llama and camels. Not mean, but they know you have food buckets and they are use to being fed and the are competing against all the other animals. We made a game out of it! We would feed the deer and when the ostrich and Llama ran over we rolled up the windows. The Buffalo was well mannered and so were the deer and the easiest to feed. The walking zoo was ok and feeding the giraffe was fun but they only want you to feed carrot sticks and they are little pricey in my opinion. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and we would go back again!

I thought this experience was going to be dull, but I was wrong. 20 dollars to drive in and 3 dollars for a bucket of feed. The hooved animals were so fun! (Especially the llamas) They had no fear of the car, and ran along side us trying to get a glimpse of whether or not we had feed. They were relentless! But not as crazy as the ostriches pecking our windows and peeking down in the sun roof! Keep on the lookout! Cuz if you start feeding one, a whole bunch come to bicker over who gets the most. Then theres a walk thru part that is also fantastic! My favorites here were the monkeys and the giraffes. Worth every dime...!

Great place! Tons of different animals and if you get feed get more than four buckets!! It's a long tour. There are 4 different areas and you want to have plenty of feed!

Great place to visit. Love going there plus they also have a drive-in movie on weekends, weather permitting.

How anyone could rate this experience as anything but 5-star is beyond me! My wife has been taking my daughters and nieces there for several years as part of our nieces' annual week long visit from the St. Louis area. This was the first year I've been able to join them and my expectations were measured, to say the least. When we pulled into the parking lot I could tell immediately this was a first class operation. The gift shop was clean, well organized and the products for sale were not the typical junk you see in most tourist gift shops. Most everything was quality product. The restroom facilities were large and the cleanest public facilities I've ever seen. You can tell the owners and staff take great pride in their business. What about the drive through the park you ask? I've never been attracted to drive through safari type attractions (admittedly, I've never been in one), but this was super fun! My daughter is 17 and my nieces are 16 and 19, young adults by all standards but watching them interact with the animals was like watching little girls. The giggling, screaming, excitement was an absolute pleasure to watch and I have to admit I might have engaged in some of it myself! The drive thru park is huge. I didn't time it, but I certainly felt like I got my money's worth. That isn't all though! There is a walk through zoo on the property too! Small primates, goats (you can go in and pet and feed them), birds, giraffes and again the facilities are immaculate. Take the time and visit them folks; you will NOT be sorry!

Highly recommend this, such a unique experience! Expect at least an hour to drive through the entire park. The lamas, ostriches, and camels can be a little aggressive

We saw the signs, and nothing says road trip like taking a spontaneous detour to a safari park! THIS WAS SO INCREDIBLY FUN! *CASH ONLY* We only bought 2 buckets between the 2 of us... which was a huge mistake! I WANTED TO FEED ALL THE LLAMAS!! Skip the zoo, come to the safari! You'll get a memorable, interactive experience that you'll never forget. NOTE: You must stay in your vehicle and drive slowly as you pass through each section. The first section includes zebras and emus/ostriches. The zebras are beautiful, they are strong so hold your buckets tight! THE OSTRICHES/EMUS ARE EVERYWHERE. SOME WILL RUN AS SOON AS THEY SEE YOUR CAR & when they get there, they WILL peck at your window if it's closed. Lots of llamas, lots of happiness. But also, lots of emus/ostriches, lots of scariness. Be careful of the stronger animals, as they will steal your entire bucket!!

We visited here yesterday and absolutely loved it!!! There were so many different kinds of animals , and a few we had no idea what they were. We never envisioned ourselves nose to nose with a massive bull, ostrich, llama, alpaca, camel, or deer, but that is just what happened! Whether the feed bucket was being held out the windows or sitting in our laps, some beautiful creature was eating out of it. We fed, I can't ever count how many, ostriches, deer, and alpacas. There were numerous babies to be seen, and in some cases fed as well. A bull snatched my boyfriend's bucket shortly after we began the safari drive-through part, but luckily a man on a four-wheeler was selling additional buckets of feed halfway through. Then a camel snatched his second bucket! A herd of deer took my son's second bucket as well. The drive-through part has numerous places to pull over in the grass for a longer 'photo session' if you don't want to hold up the people behind you. Plus, expect to have to stop numerous times to let some adventurous cutie cross in front of you. Once, while we were going through, an ostrich came racing over just to practically tip-toe across in front of us! We also had a llama follow alongside our vehicle eating out of a bucket I held out the window. After we finished the drive-through part, we went through the walk-through part where we saw all kinds of monkeys, birds, Pygmy goats, tortoises, white kangaroos, and a giraffe. You can buy carrot sticks in the gift shop to feed the giraffe, and you can buy birdseed/peanut butter mixtures on a popsicle stick to feed the parakeets. The Pygmy goats are in a pen where you can pet them. In one of the buildings, they had baby monkeys and ostriches to view. Different colors of peacocks strolled all over the place, along with pigeons. They also had a small children's play area near the giraffe. They had mist sprayers going to help beat the heat, a food truck-type restaurant, and clean restrooms. The prices in the gift shop were affordable, without being outrageous like most tourist attractions. I have a few tips for your trip here. First off, they ONLY take CASH, no cards, checks, IOUs, etc. CASH ONLY!! Secondly, no outside animals are allowed inside the park under any circumstances, no exceptions! And third, make sure to keep your fingers out of the feed buckets! They tell you when you go in to hold the buckets from the bottom... However, in the commotion of all the fun we were having, I forgot that important tip, and low and behold... Well, I can check being bitten by an ostrich off my bucket list. Once it had bitten my finger, the (same ostrich) began pecking the side mirror trying to get food from it. We simply rolled up our windows until that particular angry, feathered monstrosity hurried over to someone else's vehicle. After that, my kids nicknamed the ostriches 'murder chickens'. Besides a rare encounter with a hostile 'murder chicken', this tops any zoo we have ever been to!!! We (as animal-lovers) absolutely loved it here!! It is a great place for people of all ages from three to a-hundred-and-three!! If you live in or around West Tennessee, you should without a doubt visit this place!! You will in no way be disappointed! Actually, wherever you live, this is well worth the trip. We drove three hours to get here, spent the night before and the night of in a hotel, and drove home today. For an idea of a good hotel, I recommend Marriot by Courtyard in Jackson, less than a twenty-minute drive from the safari park. (Check out my review of it.) This was a very pleasant surprise. We've seen the signs from the road every time we've traveled on I40. It was a place we put on our list to visit should we have a hanging weekend with nothing to do but have an itch to get outdoors. I'm glad we did. BRING CASH TO GET IN!!! The entry line was pretty long but moved along well. The staff was friendly and informative should your visit be your first. Initially I thought the cost was a little steep for a "billboard attraction" but by the end, I had no major issues with the cost ($16 per adult, $12 per child/$3 per bucket of feed or $10 for 4). The beginning of the riding safari was a little congested due to high visitor volume, but it cleared out well about a quarter of the way through. After that, the spacing between the cars was manageable and the animals were plentiful. Note, the ostriches and camels were the most "friendly" animals. The ostrich learned how to casually stand in front of your vehicle in order to make you stop and then fully investigate your willingness to give food by entering your window. The camels equally gamed the system by knowing all they needed to do to eat more was to not so gently (but not dangerously) get you to drop your feed bucket by pulling it out of your hands with their mouth. All of the other animals were calm and easy going while feeding. Our girls, 3 and 5 years old, were more than capable of handling the action on their own except the camels. We learned a strategic lesson on feeding as well. Pro-Tip, don't get too excited in the early parts of the safari. If you can resist the initial urges to feed everything you see, you'll have tons more animals near the later parts of the ride to interact with. Plus, there will be less visitor traffic around competing for the animals' attention. And as a final plus, the animals will be more willing to come to your car with less traffic around. The walking and petting zoo was a nice small addition to the overall park experience. You can buy carrots for the giraffes and seed sticks for the parakeets. The best part was having parakeets land on your seed sticks as you or your child was holding them. There were also goats to pet, various monkeys, lemurs, and other animals. Peacocks freely roamed the grounds and other exotic birds were on display. All in all, this was a nice day out and great option to visit should you be in the area. P.S. AGAIN, DON'T FORGET TO BRING CASH!!! There is an ATM nearby at a local bank which we had to visit. I don't think there's an ATM on site. Moreover, you have to pay cash to enter the grounds.

This place was great. We had so much fun and I got some amazing photos of some pretty great animals. The people were great and the directors were easy to follow on how to get around to see each animal. I would visit this place again, for sure.

The cost for 2 adults and one child under 2 with 4 buckets of food = $42 The drive/tour around the park on a slow day takes about 20-30 minutes if it's crowded more into 45 minutes til hour Select to stay in your vehicle at all times for it is recommended for your safety I'd recommend visiting Tennessee Safari Park to anyone who loves nature, animals, outdoors and sunshine

Lots of animals. Lots of fun. Lots of mess. Lots of smiles. Made for a wonderful afternoon. I was amazed at the # of animals. Wish I had purchased more food. Front gate was cash only when we went.

Always always always a good time. we laugh so hard my face hurts by the end. I take every visiting family member there. Do yourself a favor and get LOTS of food to feed the animals. You will be glad you did. Last time I was there they were cash only FYI.

Total blast... me 55 and son 24 had a excellent time ... camels , lamas, Emus and Ostriches are the show in the drive through..ha ha they block the car demanding food ...

Really a great place to go. More fun than the zoo in Memphis. There were a lot of cars lined up to get in on a Thursday afternoon. But they finally opened up another lane which made it quicker. Suggest you drive past the inevitable traffic jam that will be at the start of the safari. Everyone wants to feed those animals. Get past this. The park is big. And there will be more hungry animals to feed if you keep driving past the traffic jam at the start. When you see the sign that warns you of biting zebras you'll know you're at the end as that's the last section of the park. And right before that section is the bison area (there is a sign saying bison may damage your car - they were fine for us). Most folks ran out of food by then so try to save some because there is no refill station anywhere for some reason. At the end is a walk through zoo with giraffe feeding and parakeet feeding. There are a lot of Parakeets hiding to the left of the exit door so that's a good place to find them. They weren't very hungry. The goat feed is the same as the feed during the safari so if you have some left over you can use it for the goats.

Always fun feeding the animals, them ostriches tho they ruthless with the food, it's all around good fun for the whole family

Had a Great time one of the Lamas or Alpackas spit on the Mrs., The Camel Grabbed the whole feed bucket from my Grand-daughter and ran away with it was Hilarious. It took about 2 hrs to do the whole trail. Lots of animals to see. Will return again.

We had a great time driving through this last year with our 2 yr old. She was a bit afraid at times but as long as they didn't come to her window, she loved it!

While the emus and ostriches are extremely aggressive, the drive through is a pleasant experience. Plenty of deer and llamas, some goats and zebras and even a buffalo are waiting along the trail to poke their head in the window and eat from the buckets. We finished with the petting zoo and that's where our experience came to a disappointing and disturbing end. Two small boys were running around seemingly alone, kicking chickens and arguing over a rope. They ran into the goat pen and the older boy threw a rock at our party. I told them not to throw things and started to leave the park. At this point, the boy took the rope and attempted to noose a small goat. The goat wasn't having it and the boy threw the rope to the ground. I picked it up and started to carry it over to drop in the back of a nearby safari park truck. An older man with white hair jumped out of the truck and started yelling at me. I explained I was bringing the rope because the boy was trying to noose a small goat with it. He said: "Those are my grandson's and they can do whatever they want. They're farm boys." I was so taken aback by his tone, volume and disrespect that I handed him the rope and left. Between that and how sad the animals trapped in small cages around the petting zoo look, I'll never return.

This is the best zoo I've ever been to. You get up close and personal with most of the roaming animals and you don't have to walk. You stay in your car and drive 5mph for about an hour or a little more. We spent $35 for 2 adults and 1 bucket of feed(I recommend getting more than one, cause we lost our feed at the greedy camels first thing).

Drove 1.5 hours out of our way on family vacation for this, but totally worth it. BEWARE CASH ONLY AT THE GATE! We weren't surprised because we read the website ahead of time and it is clearly posted. Some of the stronger animals will try to take the bucket out of your hand. (especially Zebra) so hold on tight, possibly with two hands. The ostrich and emu are a little aggressive, but we were prepared from other parks. If animal frightens you, just roll up your window. Feed the giraffe carrots for $2. Totally cool experience. Worth every penny.

Can't praise this place enough!!! We had three people in our vehicle and easily went through 8 buckets of food, so buy plenty!! Worth every penny! This is a drive through experience- where the free range animals will come to your vehicle if they want food. Memorable chance to see animals up close, such as zebras, ostriches, emus, camels, and many more. Highly recommend this unique experience!! Do the animals a favor and follow the park rules: no touching and stay in your vehicle.

This place is overpriced & lame. Looked dirty & grim. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Great fun for all!! We got to see zebras, ostriches, bison, a momma giraffe and a baby giraffe, goats, llamas, camels ... My recommendations: - Be sure to ask for carrots to feed the giraffe. -The earlier you go in the park, the better. This was our second time going and the first time we went earlier we had animals surrounding our vehicle. Second time not so much, they appeared to be full.

Would not recommend this park. If wish to spend 3hr sitting in your car in bumper to bumper traffic in a field then this would be place to go to.

My family and I definitely had a blast at the park. When we arrived we purchased our tickets and four buckets of animal feed. I would recommend getting more than four buckets, we ran out of food half way in.

This was truly a experience that takes you back to that first time you went to the zoo as a kid. Beautiful animals and an amazing staff. If your not afraid to get down and dirty it truly is fun for the whole family. Easy 5 stars

My family and I went to this park although there was a three hour wait it was a great experience there were very reasonable prices and it was very funny we got to the park in a hurry because they said they "stopped letting cars inside at 4:00" but it turns out they do because we left at 6:00 and they were still letting cars in!! We had a great time and some of the animals were a bit aggressive (ostrich and wildebeest) all in all we had a great time and I took good pictures!!

It was great! So fun. This is as my first time here and I would go again. 10 out of 10. I like how memories are made, llamas stare into the car like they know you have food and they run along the car or stay where they are waiting to get food from the next car. It's a nice sanctuary for the animals and a nice idea to get people involved with animals. I'm glad they came up with this.

Make sure you have gas, 2-4 hours, they have passing lanes so you don't feel rushed, or want to go to the next group of animals you can easily pass. Usually I get one thing of feed when I go to safari's in Texas, because it's 10 bucks. But this facility charges 3.00 and you get quite a lot, and you'll need it. Wouldn't hurt to bring a cooled for lunch after, because they have a very nice and clean picnic area by the petting zoo, but they do offer a snack truck like place. We went mainly for my niece, but we couldn't tell who had more fun. The animals were so energetic and lively. The set up of this facility was extremely well thought out. You get way more than you paid for, and the staff are nice and inviting . And now every time my sister and niece come to visit we will be coming back.

The employee on a four-wheeler apparently tasked with corralling the animals to the gravel road, presumably to encourage engagement with customers, sped his vehicle through a herd of alpacas and/or llamas who were napping in the shade as the temperature crept into the mid-80s. This, of course, startled the animals and forced them to run towards the line of cars in the road. I assume this is a regular practice, and I can't imagine this kind of stress is healthy for the animals' overall wellbeing. It's unnecessary too; most customers would probably prefer to see alpacas napping peacefully than to see them startled from sleeping to trotting in just a couple seconds. My family enjoyed the animals a lot, but we do not plan to visit the park again.

What a great day! This is an incredibly maintained drive thru zoo with lots of interesting animals. Definitely family friendly and you'll leave with very cool memories!

Our last experience over a year ago was pleasant. However, this time was awful. Not one employee was wearing a mask during the pandemic and they proceeded to get close to our windows to talk to us. They allowed the park to get so packed that none of the animals were interested in the food. We spent over 3 hours in stop and go traffic while looking at ostrich's and an occasional camel. And finally, once all of the animals were hanging out and relaxing in the well-needed shade, a worker would zoom by on a four wheeler and scare them away--I guess to encourage them to interact with the cars. Totally not OK, it is blistering hot outside.

We loved this place! We visited from Nashville and it was well worth the two hour drive!

Please know that this is no San Diego Zoo. This is a family-owned West TN drive-thru petting zoo, with a little spot to get out and pet animals, feed them, and go home. That said, we had about 45 minutes to do this whole zoo before heading home to Memphis, and we only drove through the safari portion of the park. Upon entering the park, we were flagged down by a family exiting, and they gave us their 3 leftover tubs of food (I paid them $5, a discounted rate). My children, 5 and 7 didn't know what they were seeing. We rolled down the windows, and were instantly greeted at the entrance grate by an aggressively hungry ostrich, who pecked at my son's bucket for a good few minutes! Not all of the animals were hungry, but the ones that were certainly tried their best to get to that food, even popping their heads into the car! To move forward, pull the food in, and start slowly driving forward. We went on to feed ostrich, emu, deer, the beautiful addax, and some llamas. The cute little piglets couldn't reach the doors, but added to the scenery. The park houses some "Endangered in the wild" and protected animals, so they are doing their part to aid in animal conservancy as well as providing a great service to their customers. Moms, this is a great play date! Plan to bring your dustbuster, because your car will be FULL of animal pellets.

USUALLY, I'm too lazy to write a review whether it be a great or terrible experience. BUT I felt the need to warn others about our experience. Husband and I decided to bring our kid here. We regret it. Over priced and terrible treatment of paying customers. Seems that the employees are on a power trip. Also as a heads up it can get a bit confusing because there's not many signs (and if at all hardly noticeable) also cash only. If you have spare feed you didn't get to use, you can't get your money back and you can't use it. Animals also look poorly cared for. There's poop everywhere, water and shelter was hardly available for them in this hot weather, Found a couple animals bleeding as if they've been impaled by another animal and another with a tumor like growth. You'd think you are doing a great thing by coming to an open like space where animals roam free but sadly it was terrible. Even the Memphis zoo took better care of their animals. The bathrooms are gross. There's no seat covers and the taps and soap dispensers are not touch free during covid. The hand dryer is the air circulation type that basically puts poop particles back on your hands. Drove 2 hours from and back and spent money for this monstrosity of a family trip. BEWARE!

We stopped by on our way to Memphis. We had a blast! It takes about 1-1.5 hours to go through. They have plenty of animals who are very active and come straight up to your car. They sell food buckets to you while purchasing your tickets. The animals are aggressive and it's easy to drop your food, so I'd recommend getting a few buckets to be safe! Lots of zebras, goats, emu, giraffes, buffalo, and hogs. Definitely worth the trip!

This place was so adorable! I wish they had an ATM on site so we didn't have to drive around the area for 20 minutes looking for a place to get cash. The drive was seriously the best animal experience I've ever had, I loved every minute of it. If I had one suggestion, it's maybe also installing a vacuum area of offering that service since our car was a mess after an animal tipped over the bucket into our car. I highly recommend this place, best unscheduled detour!!

Awesome place I never knew anything about! Kids had a blast feeding all of them. They are very use to humans and come right up to you.

I really enjoyed it. The animals in the beginning were either not hungry or super antisocial. We got through the 5 mile trail and at the very end after the buffalo, every ostrich and emu you dreamed about in the beginning wanted food! Lol! It was fun. I really came to feed the giraffe and unfortunately, didn't find out til we were going through the petting zoo that the giraffe had been moved because a camel was using its barn cause it just had a baby so that was a bummer! But we'll be back! I'll just make sure to call next time.

We made a mistake and took our puppy with us. We had a long drive with an excited toddler and the dog. It was my husband's first day off in a few weeks. We didn't realize they didn't allow dogs, although I do understand why. We didn't wilfully make the mistake. They wouldn't let us in and made us turn around, after waiting in the long line. My husband, doing his best to save the day, jumped out of the car, put the dog on the leash and took off walking off the property. He encouraged me to go back since our son was so upset. My problem isn't with the policy but with the fact that they wanted us to start back at the beginning of the line for no reason. We spent five hours in the car for this attraction and they were so heartless. It wasn't that they didn't recognize me... the guy knew exactly who I was. They just wouldn't cut us a break, no matter what. I begged, as my child cried. No way do I plan to return. I wasn't expecting them to allow the dog or do us a major favor, but to simply be human and understand how much effort it took for us to get there. I just wanted to follow their rules and get back in line. I still can't believe it happened like that.
