Tenroku Sushi offers a fun and casual kaiten-style (conveyor belt) sushi experience right in the heart of Japantown. The presentation is colorful and appetizing—each plate neatly prepared and portioned. The ikura gunkan was especially generous with roe, bursting with flavor. The seared salmon topped with spicy tuna and roe added a nice smoky richness, while the classic salmon nigiri was buttery and fresh. Sweet shrimp nigiri was plump and sweet, and the seared white fish had a delicate texture with a touch of yuzu or ponzu. The scallop sushi was tender and mild, and the maguro was lean and satisfying. It’s not premium omakase, but for the price and convenience, Tenroku Sushi delivers solid value with plenty of variety. Great spot for a quick, tasty meal when exploring Japantown.

TLDR: above average sushi at an above average price (for sushi boat sushi) I got six plates and it came out to $36 before tax and tip. That’s on average about $6 a plate. I did get one expensive o-toro for about $8.50 which was just ok, tasted a little fishy. My favorite was actually the tuna sashimi, it had two big chunks that were very good.

The best find in Japantown. The sushi quality was surprisingly amazing. They also have more Americanized sushi rolls if nigiri isn’t your thing.

Nice Experience, super faced paced and more like a fast pace sit down sushi restaurant. We went on a Saturday evening before our movie. They have some nice options and i like how quick it is for a quick meal! Staff is friendly but they look stressed because of the quick turnaround.

Friendly staff and they made great fresh sushi on demand. Creative and efficient. We came in within the last 30 minutes before the closing time. Sushi chef and staff made us feel welcome and kept serving us delicious sushi plates. The highlight was the baby octopus, fresh and crunchy. Chicken karaage was juicy and freshly made. Great taste and texture for all the dishes. They also did a great job searing the fish and scallop sushi. Excellent uni dishes as well. We ended with baked unagi sushi to wrap up the feast. Great value and taste.

The sushi was okay and I had a bit of fish scales on the salmon in my mouth. It might be something they could pay a little more attention to. Overall, it's a casual spot for conveyor belt sushi.

This place was really fresh. Loved the portion sizes and the selections. Definitely coming back when we go to the city.
