"I recommend Tenroku Sushi in Japantown for some of the best sushi in the city when exploring the neighborhood’s Japanese and Korean food and its cafes and cocktail bars." - Matthew Kepnes

Google
Tenroku Sushi offers a fun and casual kaiten-style (conveyor belt) sushi experience right in the heart of Japantown. The presentation is colorful and appetizing—each plate neatly prepared and portioned. The ikura gunkan was especially generous with roe, bursting with flavor. The seared salmon topped with spicy tuna and roe added a nice smoky richness, while the classic salmon nigiri was buttery and fresh. Sweet shrimp nigiri was plump and sweet, and the seared white fish had a delicate texture with a touch of yuzu or ponzu. The scallop sushi was tender and mild, and the maguro was lean and satisfying. It’s not premium omakase, but for the price and convenience, Tenroku Sushi delivers solid value with plenty of variety. Great spot for a quick, tasty meal when exploring Japantown.

Google
TLDR: above average sushi at an above average price (for sushi boat sushi) I got six plates and it came out to $36 before tax and tip. That’s on average about $6 a plate. I did get one expensive o-toro for about $8.50 which was just ok, tasted a little fishy. My favorite was actually the tuna sashimi, it had two big chunks that were very good.

Google
Friendly staff and they made great fresh sushi on demand. Creative and efficient. We came in within the last 30 minutes before the closing time. Sushi chef and staff made us feel welcome and kept serving us delicious sushi plates. The highlight was the baby octopus, fresh and crunchy. Chicken karaage was juicy and freshly made. Great taste and texture for all the dishes. They also did a great job searing the fish and scallop sushi. Excellent uni dishes as well. We ended with baked unagi sushi to wrap up the feast. Great value and taste.

Google
My favourite spot in SF! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My boyfriend and I love this place, the fish is soooo good, the quality of it all is AMAZING, so fresh and well done, the OTORO sashimi/nigiri is by far the best one I’ve ever had, the chefs are the best! Mexicans who cook amazing and who treat their clients the best way possible, we try to go every week because is just, amazing, there’s not enough words to describe it and recomendations, just GO, we tried many many manyyyy places and this is by far the best, the best quality and attention! I’ve been goin for the last 2 years and no regrets, A MUST ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Google
Nice Experience, super faced paced and more like a fast pace sit down sushi restaurant. We went on a Saturday evening before our movie. They have some nice options and i like how quick it is for a quick meal! Staff is friendly but they look stressed because of the quick turnaround.

Grace L.

Google
The sushi was okay and I had a bit of fish scales on the salmon in my mouth. It might be something they could pay a little more attention to. Overall, it's a casual spot for conveyor belt sushi.

Joel H.

Google
The best find in Japantown. The sushi quality was surprisingly amazing. They also have more Americanized sushi rolls if nigiri isn’t your thing.

Google
We always passed by this place and it’s always packed. Not today though! We got here at 4:30pm and there were plenty of seats available. The food were reasonably priced and tasted great. We liked everything we ordered. The restaurant was small but clean. The waitresses were attentive to refill my water but not my husband’s tea :( PS. Food was half eaten before we remembered to take a photo.

Yelp
I never knew that they had 2 locations. This was the one on the Kabuki theater side. It was t as crowded as the other location but was just as good. They had counter seating which was bar height. The food is going round and round. Just grab whatever seems appealing. The staff was great and I grabbed plenty of options. Don't know the names of any of it but it was all fresh. I also had some tasty Plum Wine that I would love to grab a bottle from the store

Yelp
A conveyor sushi belt restaurant tucked in the plaza upstairs of Japan town across many competitions. We got seated right away for dinner time. I love the concept as you can get smaller portions of rolls to try more items. Everything tasted pretty fresh to us other than than the Philly roll which might've been from the type of cream cheese they use. Our main complaint was that the colors of the plate so a bit deceiving. We saw this "pink" colored plate circling around for multiple items and we thought it was pink cuz it was the lightest color compared to the others. When our bill came out, we noticed we got charged for red plates so we asked for clarification for what a pink plate is. I wished I took a pic of the pink plate they sold because the plate they showed us wasn't even revolving around the sushi belt so it felt like this place scams customers as I'm sure people thought they got the "pink" color plates instead of the red. Not sure if I would come back after as this experience was a bit of a downer.

Yelp
Overall, this was a fine meal but nothing particularly memorable. A few highlights: the chef was kind enough to sear some of the nigiri pieces on request, which added a nice touch, and the Lion King roll was probably the best thing we had. That said, the fried items--especially the shrimp cutlets--tasted off, almost like they'd been cooked in old oil, which took away from the overall experience. The rest of the meal was just okay -- not bad, but not special enough to draw me back. Appreciate the effort and the service, but probably a one-time visit for me.

Yelp
So fun grabbing whatever you want, but you just never know how long it's been rotating along that belt. But if you need something fresh just order straight from the chefs. The sushi was pretty decent. The otoro was actually melt in your mouth. And sushi rice was made well with a good amount of vinegar. We certainly left full after spending about $30 per person. Didn't expect this place to be so good honestly.
google avatar

Sarah C.

Yelp
we came here for a light meal and got 4 plates (different prices based on color) from the revolving counter. seating is limited but it wasn't too busy. food was fine although I wish there were more options. not the highest quality sushi and prep, but you pay for what you get. service was pretty spotty and cold though
google avatar

Sasi I.

Yelp
I don't know why this place has only 3stars when the freshness of fish is impeccable! Thick cut! Very affordable! You can order and they custom made roll/sushi/temaki/nigiri/sashimi for you too. Sushi chefs and server are super nice i looooove this place!!
google avatar

Yelp
My friend and I went during dinner time and I wanted to try their rice dishes as well as sushi boat.

Yelp
After walking around the Cherry Blossom Festival, we were thinking of where to eat for lunch when we walked past this spot. I was hesitant since my experience last year was so-so but my dad wanted to eat here and they had a relatively short wait (~20 minutes). +Sushi was well-constructed: Didn't fall apart when picked up. +Generous cuts of sashimi that tasted fresh -Soft shell crab and tempura weren't crunchy -Unagi was salty Side notes: 1.) No restrooms 2.) Limited parking in the Japan Center Garage or on the street. *Verdict: 3.5 stars rounded up to 4 d/t service. There were limited items on the belt and it seemed like everyone else was waiting around for something we wanted like us. However, staff working the conveyor belt were attentive and were able to give us or make plates that weren't on the belt. In addition, waitresses refilled tea, cleared trash, and helped order items. For the quality, prices were reasonable, especially for the items w/raw fish.

Yelp
I want to say the positive things first. Our previous experiences have always been pleasant. The quality of the sushi is always consistently good. However, on Sunday 10-26 at around 3:30pm me and my two friends entered the restaurant. When we asked the waitress if we could sit on the straight side of the counter she told us no and asked one of us to sit in the corner. It's fine. We sat down and enjoyed our food. Then when the same waitress brought us hot tea and water she placed all 6 cups next to me and said "can you distribute them?" I am sorry but I don't work at your restaurant. Then my last draw was when she refilled my hot tea she spilled it on me. She gave me a quick sorry and handed me a piece of napkin and proceeded with her life. The restaurant was not super busy and they had plenty of staff so I don't understand why she rushed through everything. Her behavior was very unprofessional and might deter my return to the restaurant in the near future if she continues to behave this way.

Yelp
We spontaneously tried Tenroku Sushi on a Saturday for lunch after seeing the long wait at the ramen spots nearby in the Japantown Centre. We were happy to get seated right away and were excited to get conveyor belt sushi after a long time. We weren't too hungry so we stuck for nigiri and sashini platters. We split a couple of tuna and salmon sashimi plates (really nice thick cuts of fish and pretty fresh), and tried some nigiri including the ikura, hamachi, and saba. Everything was good and it was fun to grab off the conveyor belt. You can also just ask one of the sushi chefs for a specific sushi directly. We skipped over the rolls and desserts which didn't look appetizing. For what we got, we were happy to spend around $35 for 2 people for a quick, easy lunch. Would definitely recommend!

Yelp
We didn't have to wait for a group of 5 for dinner Thursday. The food is great but if you see something you like, grab it asap because there's a chance you won't see it offered again. There were also times where the food we wanted was sitting on the counter but it wasn't placed back on the conveyor belt while we were there so we didn't get to eat it. You can also request rolls but you have to get the attention of the chefs and it can still take a while to be made. Overall, I think I would go somewhere cheaper with better service. You're mostly paying for the revolving sushi experience. If you're looking for delicious sushi, this is still a good choice though if that's what you prioritize. I think the food was better than the experience.
google avatar

Rosie M.

Yelp
We both have never eaten here before, but the restaurant was full so we assumed that we would like the food, too. The wait staff seated us right away which was nice to not have to wait. Then, she gave us glasses of water shortly after we sat down. This restaurant is a sushi boat restaurant that happened to be open when we walked in for a late dinner. I don't usually eat at sushi boat restaurants because I don't want my food to be sitting out in the environment. I like the fact that they had plastic covers on every dish. The plates are colored coded for the different prices. We chose different rolls that were placed on the restaurant's conveyor belt. The food was edible but lacked flavor, so we won't return here.
google avatar

Daniel M.

Yelp
Awesome experience. I've never been to a sushi restaurant like this before. They have the rotating belt with endless options of food. You choose whatever you want and just pay based on the color coded plates. The food was tasty and delicious. The ambiance really nice and chill. It wasn't crowded when I was there. The service is great.
google avatar

Anastasia A.

Yelp
Great experience! Mu husband and I wanted to try something new and were not disappointed. We are not big eaters in general, so this place is a good way to eat sushi in small portions and try new food. It was memorial day but we were sitted right away. But be ready to sit very close to other people and share soy sauce bottle with them.

Yelp
Came here with my friends for a dinner date! We all loved the sushi, and it was very very fresh :) The service was very good, and the server was attentive to everything from our orders to water refills. The ambiance is nice, nestled within japantown. There is limited seating, as we are all seated around a conveyor belt sushi counter, and a line built up quickly outside the restaurant. I enjoyed the food with my favorite being the seared salmon special nigiri! Definitely a 10/10 from me :) I also tried the salmon regular nigiri, fried oysters, uni roll, and a salmon roll. All were good, but the seared salmon special nigiri definitely stood out the most to me with a melt-in-your-mouth quality!
google avatar

Bob K.

Yelp
Another great experience.... super awesome that the guys will make custom orders for you and are super friendly and responsive. Some really unique sushi coming around this time.... delicious and really fresh.
google avatar

Diana T.

Yelp
I'm actually writing this review while I'm sitting at the restaurant because I couldn't wait to share how amazing this place is. LOVE their seared salmon nigiri, LOVE their variety of fresh fish, and LOVE that the price point isn't too ridiculous. This place tests my self control every time and it's so hard to not just grab everything in sight on the conveyor belt. Everyone is extremely nice and I can tell they get along with each other. This place fits about 30ish people around the conveyor belt and a few tables outside. I come at odd times so I can't comment on the wait time. Shouldn't be too bad, people tend to scarve down plates after plates.
google avatar

Elaine Y.

Yelp
Have not been here for a while and the sushi here is pretty good. Lots of variety and portions sizes are a good. The color of the plates determine the price you pay and you can easily get carried away picking plates of the conveyor belt. Our favorites are the salmon, hamachi sashimi and the uni sushi. Staff are pretty good with filling up our tea cup and removing plates. A nice place for a Japanese meal.
google avatar

Peter L.

Yelp
The sushi is decent and I suggest sitting "at the bar" so you may pick from the rotating belt or from the regular menu. Also, ask the chefs for off menu suggestions or just surprise your palate with something new. In return, they appreciate it so buy or split a beer with them. Good times. Not omakase, and that's okay. This is just as good as any of the sushi spots within Japan Center, or in the area.
google avatar

James H.

Yelp
I think this was my first time at a Sushi place where I sat in front of a revolving sushi boat. I've seen places before but never sat by one, so this was a whole new experience for me. I do like the system they have set up the color coordinated places showed items from cheapest to expensive. You can also special order some of the more special cuts or sashimi style plates. I have to note here as I was eating with a friend. The sushi makers were making the smoked salmon nigiri to prepare for the sushi boats, I was making a comment to my friend that we should be ready to grab one as soon it came out, he heard us and he directly handed us two plates of the smoked salmon nigiri, I have to say that was great! We also special ordered the Toro nigiri it literally melted in my mouth so that was delicious. I think I had at least 8 plates of sushi and appetizers but it was delicious!
google avatar

Christiane F.

Yelp
Really fun experience but ok sushi. Went there on a Thursday night and there wasn't a line (yay!) I've been wanting to try and this place and I'm so glad I went but not rushing to go again. It's perfect for a date night and you can easily get full for $20-30 per person.
google avatar

Marianna B.

Yelp
Fresh sushi, fast service, amazing vibes and staff take care of you. Thank you for feeding us and taking care of us all night. We will be back soon.
google avatar

Winnie W.

Yelp
No wonder there's always a line at Tenroku Sushi! Their sushi is a great deal: super fresh and tasty, and generously sliced into thicker pieces Basically this is a sushi boat restaurant. You are seated at the bar or at one of the 3 tables... then pick up what you like form the revolving sushi belt. Prices are determined by the rim color of the plate, and when you are finished with your meal, they will count the dishes (color x quantity) and tally up the total for ya. What surprised me is the quality of their sushi - it is fresh and delish! Service is super efficient and friendly here; and the waitstaff did not miss a beat in keeping our water & tea glasses full, while checking on us Intermittently. A great and fun dining experience!
google avatar

Navene S.

Yelp
Pretty good sushi. Salmon was good cant go wrong with that. Finished off with the wagu but that was just ok, I wouldnt recommend. Service was great, very attentive and got in and out pretty quickly. Ate good for about $65 for two people. Ambience is chill too small place but perfect size for what youre getting.
google avatar

Claire C.

Yelp
Save yourself the stomach pain and don't eat here! My friend and I both got sick after eating this sushi and I would not come back again. The sushi on the conveyer belt looked like it had been there for hours. The fish here is not very fresh!! Go to another sushi restaurant in Japantown.
google avatar

D H.

Yelp
I got food poisoning from a sus flame-broiled salmon nigiri that tasted weird. The conveyor belt was also filled with plates & had that not so fresh fishy smell all around. It seems like the plates have been there for hours. I've been going to this spot for years, and this is the first time this happened. Disappointing.
google avatar

Edie N.

Yelp
Not the freshest of food but a fun experience! I love how quick and efficient the servers were with grabbing our drinks and removing the clutter from the table. It's a tight space in there but they make it work! Never been to Japan but I imagine this is close to what it feels like. The fish wasn't always fresh and quite honestly some of the dishes did not look appetizing. We had a couple rounds of drinks after so we were there for about an hour and a half and some of the raw fish sat there the whole time and some even looked dried up. I could see a bad tummy ache coming from some of them. Closer to when we left (dinner time) it picked up and people started to come in in a big wave and you can see them finally putting out fresh dishes. We tried a few more and they were better but still about average. Price point is pretty high for the quality in my opinion.
google avatar

Pablo M.

Yelp
Don't Go Here! Spoiled fish (UNI) was served! Severe stomach poisoning ruined my last night in San Francisco and my trip home was hell. I came here with my daughter and a friend. We all had lots of fish. I was the only one that had UNI. I started feeling sick before I even left. Left the place and headed straight to the bathroom in my hotel and I was not able to leave all night. I called several time asking for the manager. Every time I was told they weren't there and to leave my info or call back. Finally I called my credit card company and explained the situation. They called with me on the line and the manager finally got on the phone. He denied having served bad fish and was not willing to rectify the situation. Not even an apology. I will never go back and I will make sure every one I know in San Francisco knows how bad this place is. And so the business doesn't claim I wasn't here I am including a copy of my receipt!
google avatar

Coco G.

Yelp
I love this place!! Not only is the food so delicious, fresh, and extremely well priced for sushi but the vibes are incredible! You get to watch the chefs make the sushi and the sushi conveyor belt and colored plate system is genius! Cannot recommend enough!!
google avatar

Alden C.

Yelp
I used to love going to Tenroku Sushi in Japantown throughout the past decade, but as of late the quality and the experience is going downhill. It is still a decent option in a busy area in Japantown especially if you want the revolving sushi bar experience. The seating is pretty cramped as well so that might be a con for some. When it comes to the sushi I think their prep isn't the most consistent and sometimes you can tell the plates on the conveyor belt has been sitting there for longer than desired so you might have to order what you would like instead. The price of each plate also is on the pricier side as well. The rolls overall are pretty decent especially if you get the basics. I do like how they make their sushi rice and has a good texture. My go to option is also always the seared salmon belly and it melts in your mouth. Like everyone else, the high price point and inconsistency leaves a lot to be desired, but it is still a fun experience to have whenever you are in Japantown.
google avatar

Lesly M.

Yelp
Love this place! Always a fun choice for a sushi night out! Or day out! The sushi chefs are so kind and will make you anything that you show. I usually just show anything from yelp I would like to try that I don't see on the conveyor belt. The atmosphere is small but cute!
google avatar

Michelle K.

Yelp
It was my first time at a revolving sushi restaurant in Japantown, and I enjoyed my experience here! It's small and clean. I loved all the salmon and tuna dishes. I wish there were slightly more options because I didn't find myself with a large variety of dishes I ended up getting. We also separately ordered a wagyu dish, and it was okay; I wouldn't recommend it compared to the sushi ones.
google avatar

Dezheng Y.

Yelp
bad fish, not fresh at all. And I order from the guys who is working in the middle of the bar. And they keep looking at me. Seems like give him a hard work.
google avatar

Queena Z.

Yelp
It's always fun to eat at a conveyor belt sushi. Came on a saturday night and had to wait about an hour to be seat. The prices were reasonable for the amount of food they gave. Their two piece sashimi was $5.85 but the pieces were so thicc, it basically was 4 pieces. I also really enjoyed their fried shrimp on the little skewer sticks. The fish were pretty fresh except some sashimi pieces were super cold and not soft because of how cold it was. The only dessert I saw was a matcha cake on the conveyor. The ambiance was like any other conveyor sushi place. Seating was a little tight and it was kind of loud. They did play bangers (New Jeans songs).
google avatar

Sophia C.

Yelp
Decent revolving sushi Fresh seafood choices, you can get really full and satisfying with approx $50/person. There are numerous options available at the store, and you also have the option to order directly from the chef who is both friendly and quick in serving. We decided to try the salmon sashimi from the chef, and it surprised us with its unusually thick portion that we had never experienced at any other revolving sushi restaurants. The salmon was juicy and delicious. Additionally, we found that the Uni Temaki offered the same quantity of uni as two Uni Gunkan, and at the same price. The temaki had an abundance of uni inside, and we absolutely loved it!
google avatar

Alli W.

Yelp
Very inconsistent in their prep. I've eaten here a few times and never actually had a problem with their fish quality but the way they prep nigiris.... Yikes. Some days, they're great and intact but on some other days, nigiris would just fall apart at the slightest touch... sushi rice just isn't sticky enough to hold it all together tbh. But!! Uni here is a steaaalllll. We're talking 8$ for 2 that are extremely fresh and delicious. Their hot food's quality is also pretty promising for the price you're paying for. The restaurant itself is really small so yes, expect to wait for a seat depending on the time and day you're visiting.
google avatar

Harry M.

Yelp
All things considered, this is a decent "conveyer belt sushi spot". Are you going to get the best sushi? Probably not, but it's not the worst. Are you going to get an experience out of it? I would say yes! This is a no frills revolving sushi restaurant. You get seated, the host asks what you would like to drink, and you just start grabbing dishes that catch your eye on the belt. Each plate is priced according to the color of the plate. So put those aside as you finish each dish so the host can calculate the bill. The really neat part is seating arrangement. The chefs are making the sushi in the center while the patrons gather around the island table. If you don't see something you're looking for, just ask the chef! Honestly, if you're just have a sushi craving, this place will do perfectly fine. If you're more of a connoisseur, there are other places in the Bay Area that will cater to your taste palate.

Alina L.

Yelp
This was my first time coming here and I had pretty high hopes as it was recommended by a friend who holds her sashimi and sushi at very high standards. While the sushi and sashimi were pretty good in quality, taste, and freshness, I was not as pleased with the service. Given the number of times I saw the same sushi plate pass by me on the conveyor belt before I picked up anything new suggested that the chefs were taking a bit of time to make new dishes for the customers. Most of the time, I had to ask frequently to get the dish I wanted. I would have assumed that the restaurant just lacked variety if I hadn't reviewed their menu beforehand. Additionally, I would consider this place relatively pricier compared to other sushi conveyor belt restaurants in the area. The most expensive plate was $8.00 while the least expensive plate was $3. Because of the fewer selections I saw today, I found myself selecting amongst $8, $6.74, $5.60, and $4.60 plates. In the end, the consumption of 6 plates played out to be around $38. Whereas, with a lot more selection elsewhere, I could have spent $38 on 8-9 plates of sushi. Other than that, I want to remark on the fast and polite the hostess and bussers provided! They were very efficient and cleared the table almost as fast as we had engulfed our food! I will give this place a second try but really hope that I can taste more variety in fish and other delicacies on their menu.
google avatar

Amy L.

Yelp
Tenroku is one of my favorite sushi places! It's not pretentious at all and the service is pretty quick, even when they're crowded. The sushi rice is well seasoned and the fish tastes fresh! The conveyor belt concept allows you to grab some sushi as soon as you're seated. But my favorite part is asking the chefs in the center for rolls that may not be on the conveyor belt. My favorites are the hamachi with green onion and fatty tuna.
google avatar

Kristine C.

Yelp
I prefer this place over kura sushi, I think this restaraunt has a bit more variety and more quality fish for their sashimi. I wouldn't mind to go again, but noy my favorite. The restaurant is small and feels cozy. You can literally ask someone right away for a dish if you don't see it on the conveyor belt!
google avatar

Sandy L.

Yelp
Nine out of ten times we would come here to eat lunch. This is the last time we will eat at this place. Let me tell you why. There were four guys working in the station. One young guy is handling the ginger, green onions and sushi roll. He touched his phone then touched the ginger without washing his hands. He got the green onions out and cut it without washing his hands again. The other guy with curly long hair who worked in the raw section. He was cleaning the blue shrimps and chatting with the person who was next to him. His mask slipped down and he touched it without washing his hands then he continue preparing the nigiri. Be honest if we didn't see it then we may have to continue to come here but after we saw it how they handled the food. We will never come back. :( Recommend: NO!!! :(
google avatar

Rudy H.

Yelp
This was an unplanned visit, sometimes I just let it go with the flow. Wasn't in the mood for ramen, crepes nor udon. I was in the mood for little bit of sashimi dan sushi. I looked around and this was the only place nearby, a conveyor belt sushi. (yeah whatever, let's get few pieces and get out). But you know it doesn't matter how bad the restaurant is you can't sit down and just get few pieces and leave, The chair wasn't even warm yet! Well, to make a long story short: it's cheap and quick. But you get what you pay for. You're paying for Holiday Inn, You can't ask for The Ritz Carlton.

Divina M.

Yelp
This business could honestly improve its hygiene. There was a little friend with antennas that came up to us to greet us for dinner, but in all seriousness, I am traumatized And I do not recommend this business unless you want to eat with cockroaches and who knows what with what else

Cate M.

Yelp
Fresh, high quality fish. Very quick service. Prices can be a little expensive, but that's a given for SF.

Kuyou E.

Yelp
Honestly this place was very conveniently laid out, easy to grab the plates and the staff was super attentive and friendly. I will say the sushi was pretty good with a lot of options the only reason I'm giving a 3 star is because they do let the sushi sit out for a long period of time then put it on the belt causing some of the raw rolls or nigiri/sashimi to taste fishy and warm like about to go bad sushi. The rolls that were fresh were really good though and also fair price and I loved that they had takoyaki and crispy snacks on the belt. I'd go back and just avoid some of the salmon sashimi from my experience.
google avatar

Brandyn N.

Yelp
The sushi was decent as far as conveyor belt sushi goes. The fish had some fatty and tender cuts and I had no issues with it. While the rice was good, it definitely felt a little rushed and some of the sushi pieces felt like they were falling apart a bit, but each plate was satisfying. My biggest issue is that the pricing and the sushi plates feel very inconsistent. There are 8 different colored plates indicating 8 different prices which can feel somewhat overwhelming. I'd have to keep glancing at the menu before picking anything up, as it can get very pricey very quickly for what it is. This place feels like a bit of a waiting game. Once in a while there are good deals that you have to just snatch up once you see it. Meanwhile you're staring at the tamago (pink plate - cheapest) and shrimp (blue plate - most expensive) go by. After a while you kind of lose patience and want to just go for the more expensive plates in front of you. Overall, it ended up being pretty expensive as we felt like our options were pretty limited. To be honest, we were still hungry, but the bill was getting up there. The sushi itself was good. All seats are at the counter with a single track for the plates. The place has more seating than you think glancing in. It got filled up pretty fast around dinner time. You also have a good viewing experience of the chefs prepping the sushi. They were also pretty responsive, checking with customers if there's anything in particular they'd be looking for.

Yelp
I visit this conveyor belt sushi often, and it has never been disappointing. The fish taste fresh, and their torched salmon belly / toro is a must. The chefs are usually attentive, though the interior can be a little unwelcoming / small.

Yelp
This conveyor belt sushi place has decent quality for the fish they serve. But for what they charge, you'd think the salmon was caught by mermaids and the tuna was delivered by unicorns.

Yelp
We love coming here! Fish is always very fresh. I love that you are able to try different things. In addition to the conveyor belt items, you can order anything on the menu or ask the chef to make you something of your choice. Whenever in SF, I always stop by here.
