Tenterfield Lodge Caravan Park

We stayed at a powered site with 3 kids e and had a fantastic experience. The grounds are peaceful and beautifully maintained, surrounded by nature and with a real sense of calm. The owners were absolutely lovely, so welcoming and friendly, which made the stay feel even more special. There’s so much to explore in the surrounding area. We especially loved climbing the nearby granite domes, truly unique landscapes and perfect for adventuring with kids or just soaking up the natural beauty. Can’t wait to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy country cabin. Even the teenage daughters loved it! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The cabins have a quaint, welcoming vibe with thoughtful touches throughout that add to the charm.||The linens were lovely — crisp, clean, and soft, making for an incredibly restful night's sleep. Every detail felt carefully considered, and it’s clear the hosts take great pride in maintaining a comfortable and inviting space.||The firepit in the park is also a lovely touch along with the cosy camp kitchen. This place offers the perfect mix of peace, comfort, and character. Highly recommend for a relaxing weekend away!|Plenty to explore on the area as well.

We camped within their beautiful surroundings & other friends stayed in a cabin. Our caravan site was spacious & close to amenities if needed. The camp kitchen was well set up with plenty of facilities. It was warm on a cold night in winter & also had a wood fire 🔥. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Tenterfield & will be back again.

We had a lovely quiet, private spot, the park is well kept & with the history of the lodge makes it an interesting place. The amenities were always clean & the sample soap a nice touch. Staff were friendly & helpful. An easy 800 metre walk into town which was delightful mix of cafes, shops & historic buildings. A great stay!

Welcomed to park by friendly man who couldn’t have been more helpful. Lovely small campground with beautiful camp kitchen! Bring wood to light the fire or buy in park. Amenities nice & clean.|Drive through sites are a bonus too. Area is quiet. |A good spot to stay.

We have just left the Tenterfield Lodge Caravan Park (NSW) and can’t speak highly enough of this little gem. We had a drive thru site but did unhitch to see a few of the local attractions! We did Mount Mackenzie Lookout and the granite boulder tourist drive WOW !!!!!! The railway museum is an outstandingly curated glimpse of the past travel history of the area. There’s so many gorgeous old buildings and houses ! And for the golfers - an awesome country course with a restaurant menu that beats any country pub we’ve ever eaten at! There’s plenty more to do but we ran out of time … Now, back to the caravan park … the owners are putting in a big effort to get the Tenterfield Lodge House up and running again and the camp kitchen is just fantastic with a wood fire and has all the appliances you need ! The amenities block is clean and tidy and the park is small and very well maintained! We were really impressed!

Our experience staying here was great. Lovely welcome upon check-in. We rang ahead to let them know we would be late on arrival. Nothing was a problem. If we arrived after 5pm we could collect our keys in a safe box and check in. The ensuite cabin was really fresh, clean and tidy. Equipped with an oil heater to keep the room nice and warm. Bed was so comfortable, electric blanket if needed. Stove / Oven for cooking. Good assortment of kitchen appliances. Surrounding area in the park was well set out and it was quiet to sleep of a night. A handy tip - would be have a shelf or tray in the shower to put shampoo / cleanser etc. We really enjoyed our stay.

A lovely leafy bird-filled lodge & park on the western rural fringe of town, away from the noise of heavy traffic on the highway, yet a comfortable walk or 2-3 min. drive from all the amenities of the Main Street. Stayed in one of the gorgeous timber cabins (1 dbl bed + 1 sgl bed) - spacious but cosy, very comfortable & real value for money. Sandy & the team are fantastic - warm & friendly, helpful & informative, particularly on what’s happening locally, and available in the area. A great base to explore the larger region and so good that I really didn’t want to leave. Just fantastic!

Wow. We were excited to arrive at this place just before dark after a long drive from Sydney on Christmas Day. We were greeted by closed signs but decided to jump out and see if anyone was around. We got a few metres when a bloke came out of the office, asked if we were blind, asked if we were stupid, told us we could shove our tent up our ar*e and slammed the door in our faces. Great to see the Christmas spririt lives on!

Just checked in & the place looks very clean! I think it was $73 for a cabin sleeping 3 adults & a little dog. The showers look very clean with a shelf & hooks on the back of the doors & even a little bath with toys provided suitable for children. The unit has a microwave, 2 plate electric cooker, fridge, cutlery, cooking gear etc...I'll let you know in the morning how comfy the bed is!
