Tenterfield Lodge Caravan Park

Really great place for a budget stay, now been twice. Very quiet location, close to town, lovely compact cabins, extremely clean and well maintained. The management are also great people, helped me correct an error i made in my booking with minimal fuss. This place is a hidden gem for the price, would highly recommend..

This is a great little campground. Nice grassy spots and lovely amenities. Really appreciate the wooden shower stands you lay down after your shower so you are on a dry surface! This makes getting dressed so much easier! |The camp kitchen is very well appointed and includes a fire place. Perfect for chilly Tenterfield evenings.

Why aren't there more caravan parks like this? Beautiful, well maintained grounds and gardens, clean amenities, quiet and no unnecessary 'bells and whistles'. Camp kitchen was spotless and well equipped. Great common areas which would suit families and groups. Bonus was it is super quiet.

Great location for traveling up the New England Hwy, off the main road so lovely and quiet. Easy access and arrival communications very efficient. Grounds and amenities very clean and nicely laid out, the little cabins are superb with amazingly comfortable beds, super cute and comfy! Highly recommend staying here, great value for money.

Attended a family function in Tenterfield and this cabin was so close and convenient. Sandy was fantastic at making the booking effortless and instructions upon arrival were straightforward and easy to follow. Our pooch also got to stay which was a real bonus. The cabins are set in a leafy and very pretty location. And super quiet as its set a good way back from the highway. Thanks for a lovely weekend in your very welcoming town. Great value for money.

Lovely quaint little heritage caravan park situated in the back of beautiful Tenterfield. The park itself is very picturesque and beautifully maintained. Lots of green grassy sites, powered, non powered, drive through and also lovely little cottage/cabins that are styled with perfect vintage country decor. Facilities are older but very clean, from the minute you open the door you can smell how fresh the showers and toilets are. Showers were lovely & hot.. The management are very welcoming and friendly. If you’re passing though and looking for the perfect Southern Downs stay I can’t recommend Tenterfield Lodge Caravan Park enough!

We stayed at the Lodge for a week and we're so glad we changed from the showgrounds where we normally stay. Not much difference in price and much nicer. The only reason I didn't give it 10/10 is no. 29 site gets booked and is on a thoroughfare and seems to block the way a bit. Amenities block is really good, kitchen and TV room is great. Boom gate keeps park safe, close to town, golf course and pool. Highly recommend and we will come back.

The grounds are lovely with lush green grass and shady trees. The camp kitchen is amazing - one of the best I have seen. The amenities block is tired and needs a good clean though. Lots of spider webs and dead insects, etc.

Wow. We were excited to arrive at this place just before dark after a long drive from Sydney on Christmas Day. We were greeted by closed signs but decided to jump out and see if anyone was around. We got a few metres when a bloke came out of the office, asked if we were blind, asked if we were stupid, told us we could shove our tent up our ar*e and slammed the door in our faces. Great to see the Christmas spririt lives on!

Just checked in & the place looks very clean! I think it was $73 for a cabin sleeping 3 adults & a little dog. The showers look very clean with a shelf & hooks on the back of the doors & even a little bath with toys provided suitable for children. The unit has a microwave, 2 plate electric cooker, fridge, cutlery, cooking gear etc...I'll let you know in the morning how comfy the bed is!
