Absolutely outstanding. We did the 5 course tasting and wine pairing. Incredible value for what you get. Not only their outstanding wine and exquisitely prepared food, but the estate is stunning!!! Daniele, the estate manage and host is fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. A total highlight of the Etna area.

Attended today for lunch, tasting and tour. Hosted by Daniel the experience was fantastic. The wines tasted were all explained in detail with generous pours and a relaxed personalised approach. We enjoyed a 4-course lunch which was really enjoyable and complemented the wines well. The winery is an easy drive from Taormina (approx 45 mins). Touring the vineyard was interesting and well paced with all our questions answered. Highly recommended!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Tenuta di Fessina (recommended by Four Seasons Taormina San Domenico) and was thoroughly impressed by the warm hospitality and welcoming atmosphere provided by Danielle and Leticia. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and made to feel right at home. Despite not having a reservation, Daniele and Leticia went out of their way to accommodate us, ensuring that our visit was nothing short of exceptional. Danielle’s and Leticia’s attention to detail and genuine care for our experience truly stood out, always taking care of us with discretion. His love and passion for his job was obvious and the dedication to the winery clearly stands out. In addition to the impeccable service by Danielle, Leticia cooked for us some of the most delicious starters. Although the dishes were all made with the simplest of ingredients (fresh tomatoes, oranges from the garden, eggs with tuna) etc, the flavors were incredibly authentic. Our experience was a 10/10, amazing choices of wine and exceptional service.

Incredible tasting and marvelous Sicilian lunch at one of our favorite Sicilian wineries. I’m still dreaming about the gazpacho several days later. Thank you!

I would like to share our bad and the worst experience that we got during our visiting the winery. My husband organized and paid 200 euros per couple for a tasting experience in Tenuta di Fessina. The winery confirmed our booking. When we arrived we saw that the personnel was busy with a group of tourists and they didn't expect us. But they welcomed us to a dinning room and asked to wait for firsts glasses of wine. A girl brought 2 glasses of wine, shortly told us a bit about grapes and a technology they used and disappeared for 10 mins. Other 4 glasses were the same. In hour we asked her to show us the winery and she did it extremely briefly. To be honest it was the worst excursion which we had visited in Sicily. Moreover, it was one of the priciest and without any food and snacks. When we returned home we were really disappointed and decided to write to Tenuta di Fessina and as far as we were leaving in a day from Sicily we asked them whether they could not return money provide us some wine, because we had not have a service which we paid for. BUT THEY DID NOT EVEN RESPONSE to us. Honestly, I believe that this winery has a delicious wine, but I can not recommend anyone pay for this tasting experience. It is much better just buy a bottle of their wine. It would be cheaper. Hope that the management will see this review and finally we get at least one bottle of wine as a gift.

tldr: Very good wines and very bad service. When we arrived for the pre-booked(!) tasting all the staff was occupied by serving food and drinks to a group of other guests. Nobody welcomed us, and in fact I'd been staying and waiting near the bathroom for about 5 minutes until someone came. I was then really surprised when someone from the staff literally called over the phone and asked in Italian something like "what to do with them"... The tasting itself was not really well planned: the host said a few words about wine (one minute per each), poured glasses and left us for like 5-7 minutes to help with other guests. And the same repeated for other wine glasses throughout the tasting. After the tasting we had a short excursion that lasted in total about 5 minutes. We haven't really seen the vineyard, the grapes, the soil. The place isn't worth the price we paid.

Beautiful vineyard with top wines. Jacopo is a gracious host who took the time to share the history of the winery, his experience and perspectives on his excellent products.

Unexpectedly divine! Jacobo guided us through the most personal tasting. He gave us a brief history of his family’s vineyard and explained the Etna-specific minerals that mingle beneath their soil. We tasted wines in their “living room” space overlooking the vineyards along with delicious food (a caponata made from garden vegetables grown by his wife Giulia). 5/5 would go again.
