Tenuta Medici Ermete

Alessandra is a charming hostess who always gives my guests a wonderful tour and tasting of their balsamic production. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates fine local foods when travelling.

If you find yourself in Emilia-Romagna, Medici Ermete is one of my absolute top recommendations. Their wine, particularly Phermento, is a delight; their vinegar is incredible; and they — particularly Alessandro — are wonderful hosts.

If you want to taste amazing wines with mouthwatering foods, this is the place to go. We've been around 5 or 6 times and I wish we went more. You get a tour of their balsamic barrels and how it's all made. The food is all cooked and prepared by the family as it's a family run winery. I believe we paid 19.5€ for food and the tasting of about 7 or 9 bottles. You then drive to their store and purchase bottles, cases, taste some more wine and items. This is my favorite tasting from all the wineries I went to.

Great wine and unforgivable opportunity to experience the real Traditional Balsamic Vinegar!... without forgetting the friendliness of the people working there!

We had a great visit at the Tenuta Medici Ermete. Alessandra has a great knoledg amd a lot of pashion and praud for the viniger. The main business of the place is wine, and the viniger is a "hobby". We now a praud owner of a buttele of balsamic viniger

Lovely winery. I took part in a balsamic vinegar tour which was very good. They sell vinegar and wine.

Such a beautiful family business! The most excellent balsamic vinegar in a lovely setting with a friendly family to greet you. Well worth visiting during your trip through Italy!
