The tour was good if you go in a group like a field trip. You get a guided tour, but I saw others that they had one kid with them (mostly dad's) and they seemed to be on their own. Everything was good

Kids and adults can enjoy the varied play areas and animals, like chickens, goats, and wild birds. There is a woodland trail that has three diverging paths for the nature-lovers. It's cashless, so be sure to have a card ready for any purchases, including pumpkin painting and the farm shop. What an absolutely great farm. Apple cider and apple cider donuts are fantastic!! The pies and wines are great. There are events almost all year long, based on everything from peaches to strawberries to sunflowers. The events include extras like a bubble show that the kids will really enjoy, special foods and wines, face painting, and other activities. Their autumn festivities are fun, varied, and have lots of room. Walk through the fields or pick a pumpkin for Halloween. Enjoy seasonal pick-your-own fruits, or stop by their general store for pre-packaged goods.

Very pleasant orchard. Visited over memorial day weekend. Had live music, puck your own asparagus, farm stands with house made wine tasting flights and other eats. $7 for 6 apple cider donuts.

Try this really good day outing option in and around Princeton. Healthy dose of green landscapes, farm animals, play area, pony rides, and wine tasting available. This place offers something for kids and adults alike. All in all a great family activity option in spring and summer.

Google
This farm is overpriced. It was not worth attending. Their food was overpriced as well. $8.99 for one caramel apple. There was very few animals in the petting zoo. After touching a couple of animals I went to get sanitizer it was empty. We paid $30 a ticket. Their hayride was not enjoyable as their was not much to see. The live band had horrible microphones. If you go here you will waste your money and your children will not enjoy either.

In May, I saw this farm in an Instagram reel for strawberry picking, but I didn’t get around to stopping by for strawberry picking, so I came for apple picking instead The fall festival was fun, though admission to the Terhune Orchards is expensive, but it is nice going to if you have the money to splurge and good company to go with

Yelp
This farm was filled with many different activities including wine tasting (from their in house made wines), pick your own flowers, farm animals, and a store with fresh fruits, veggies, and baked goods. Definitely recommend their frozen peach wine and cheese plate. There's lots of fun things to do for both adults and kids! Definitely coming back for their fall season when they'll have frozen apple cider and apple picking.

Yelp
Terhune Orchards is a quaint place and is perfect to visit during the fall. Pick up some cider donuts and get lost in a sunflower maze. It's a beautiful place to spend an afternoon.

Yelp
Visited by myself on a Saturday strictly for wine tasting. I enjoyed my time alone along with the wine so yes ai left with 3 bottles.

Yelp
First time here wasn't so great for cherry picking. Basically ran out of cherries while very early. Good size farm with a lot to do for both kids adults. Activities for younger kids, not so much older. Food choices are ok. Lines when busy, which is normal. Farm store was decent. Just an ok experience but there are better farms in NJ to visit.
google avatar

Kaz G.

Yelp
Cute place for seasonal farm activities. Don't come on a weekday if you want to do a wine tasting. Also definitely check the schedule before coming so you know what fruits are available for picking. My friend and I randomly stopped by and put together a cute flower bouquet. We were sad we couldn't pick peaches. The market inside had so many goodies, but the prices were just okay.

Yelp
People might think we were silly to visit Terhune Orchards in the winter, but we made the short journey over here to see the area in the offseason. The summer and fall apple picking seasons are certainly the busiest times of the year. The weather is nice, the flowers are blooming, the people are playing outside. Instead, we decided to venture out here during the least busy time of the year because we saw that there was wine tasting with a local musician in the barn on a Saturday afternoon. Situated in the barn, there's ample options for snacks, wine, and some nice tunes. With a less busy crowd, we were also able to mix and match the wine flights. We went with the following wines: Farmhouse White Vidal Blanc (taster) Traminette Chambourcin (red wine) Apple Wine We unintentionally landed on 4 white wines (me not realizing the apple wine is actually a white wine). The Vidal Blanc was our favorite one of the 4, even as it was a taster. The Chambourcin was a solid red wine. Nice and smooth. The other wines were alright. We then got a cheese board (which had so much cheese that we took some home) and a mulled wine. Each of the items were around $18, so to split amongst 2 wasn't that bad. We enjoyed walking around the farm, especially since the fire pits were lit up during the daytime. I see the appeal of walking around here though during the offseason. I certainly do.

Yelp
Terhune orchards is a staple NJ spot for fall activities such as a pumpkin patch, corn maze, wine tastings, and apple picking. A while ago, I'd gone at the end of the season, so I was able to pick apples at the main farm, so I came with that expectation this year. It doesn't seem to be the case if you come earlier in the season, so keep that in mind. This time around, it also seems that the ticketing has changed a bit. There are options to do a wine tasting + getting a wine glass + adding some food options to your ticket which I didn't see in previous years. Apple picking is not included in these tickets and will be a separate charge on site. This year I came somewhere in the middle of apple picking season and it seemed that there weren't too many spots to pick apples. My go-to purchases are always the apple cider, the donuts and traminette white wine. They are fantastic quality and can be purchased year round. I think given how crowded it has gotten over the years, I may consider another orchard for apple picking, but will always swing by the store for the wine and the donuts!

Yelp
The good: donuts are still delicious , my favorite wine from there is still great and even discovered a new one that I like since we did the wine tasting. The Bad: I've been coming to Terhune for years and stopped by this weekend with my family. I'd have to agree with a few of the recent comments that things have changed ( for the worse). It seems like everything is a cash grab now. You pay an admissions fee, pay to pick apples, there's no more hayrides and there's only a few animals near the barn area. I hope management takes into consideration providing more experiences and activities for the price of admission and also taking into account that forcing people to pay for apple picking even if they are not interested. The porta potties were also dirty. Wish I could give 2.5 but again Yelp doesn't allow half ratings. I don't think I will come back to the farm based on my experience this weekend.
google avatar

Jamie S.

Yelp
First time here. At least the parking situation was organized when entering. We bought tickets for one of the festivals. Honestly, it's just an entrance fee and allows you to do the activities. When we needed to use the restrooms and asked where they were, we were turned off go see that the only options were a porta potty. Not the most ideal situation for us. The activities definitely seem more tailored towards children. We visited what I thought would be like an indoor winery, but it was a tent outside with them pouring wine into plastic cups. Not really the winery experience I anticipated, which is fine. Tried a few and they were just okay. We did the hayride which was not very scenic and also an extremely bumpy ride, but it was something to do. The corn maze was different though, so that was cool. We also fed some animals, but you have to buy the feed yourself separately. We visited the market store and that was really fun. We really liked the apple cider donuts and we bought some pies which were yummy. Also bought a pumpkin. It was a fun daytime activity, with activities tailored mostly to families with children. I don't know if I would take the trip to go all the way there again especially with the bathroom situation.

Yelp
Local orchard, great place for seasonal festivals and family oriented fun or dates. Seasonal fruit is really great, apple cider donuts are standard and apple cider is a bit sweet but it's standard orchard fare. Everyone is super sweet and kind, the farm is family owned and they have the sweetest farm animals
google avatar

Kristine N.

Yelp
I've had this place saved for a while but never went until today. I went on a weekday so there didn't seem to be an admission fee. We were able to browse around-- they had animals, a corn maze, a playground, wine, a market, and a pumpkin patch. The corn maze was fun and there was an interactive part where you have to find the different posts in order to determine what produce you can eat for good luck :) I got the semi-sweet wine flight and my favorites were the peachy and blueberry ones. The apple cider donuts were good but they would be even better if they were fresh and hot. The cafe wasn't open so we got a charcuterie box. Nothing too fancy. I would've liked if the cheese was pre sliced, as it was hard to cut through the block of cheese with a plastic knife. You are sitting outside, so beware of the bees and bugs checking out your food. They have bathrooms but it smelled weird, not sure if that's a normal occurrence. There's also portapotties. I don't think I would pay an admission fee to go here on the weekend, but it's a cute spot for fall festivities, produce, and wine on a weekday.

Yelp
I had a hard time picking a star review for Terhune. I would say it's more of a 2.5 when you go during peak days / hours and a 4 when you go during the off season. I'm sticking with 4 because we go during the off season and always have a good time. We've learned to stay away from Terhune during peak Fall season. From what I remember Terhune didn't have admission fees until recently. I was going to meet up with some friends here at the end of October but we all decided that the admission fees were too much and we would spend way too much money there. So, instead, I headed to Terhune this past Saturday (November 16th) when there were no admission fees. It was a beautiful day and the farm was so quiet and lovely. They had live music at the wine tent and food was being served in the barn cafe. The kids LOVE playing at Terhune. They have a little "race track" where they can ride tricycle bikes around a gravel path. They have little play houses and other structures the kids can climb on. They have animals you can feed. And many photo ops. When we went the corn maze was free and the kids did it multiple times. Their apple cider donuts are glorious and they also have mini donut holes on the weekends. Their hot mulled cider is delicious and a perfect compliment to a cold fall day. The fruit and produce they sell always looks impeccable and it's hard to not buy everything in the store! Terhune is definitely a lovely farm to visit during the off season.
google avatar

Nicholas O.

Yelp
25 dollars for general admission gets you the ability to walk on the property. Everything after that cost money even to feed the farm animals for 25 cents. Deceitful on what is included, also when asked if there was military pricing the front gate person rudely says " what do you want the price is the price" will never be returning to this fake fall festival trap.

F. P.

Yelp
Went apple picking. It used to be that you would pay by the pound. Now they force all members of the party to buy a bag (min $10 for a tiny bag!). It feels like a cash grab and detracts from an otherwise nice experience. They do have a nice orchard, but I don't want to feel like I am taken advantage of. We will visit another orchard next time.
google avatar

Leydiana S.

Yelp
My family and I have been visiting Terhune for many years and we always have a great time. There's something for everyone. You can feed animals, bring quarters for the machines or ask for change in the store. They have a winery with many different wine selections. They sell food which is always delicious. The caramel apples and apple dicey donuts are a MUST! They have apple picking which is also nice. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming. Check their calendar for daily events throughout the year.
google avatar

Jocelyn L.

Yelp
Skipped the apple picking and came for the apple cider donuts and apple cider slushies which are the best. We've come here before for the wine which is pretty good and they have music on the weekends, but didn't want to stay too long since it gets so busy. They also had a great mum selection and was able to purchase 2 large ones for $19.
google avatar

Yelp
It wasn't too far of a drive from my sister's place so we were able to form a large group and go together. We went cherry picking. They were sweet and delicious. It was so much fun. Both my daughter and my niece were just 1 year old at the time but they also had a blast. It was a great bonding moment for everybody. The only downside was that we went on the hottest day of the year and it was specially humid in there by all the cherries. Everyone was drenched within seconds. The staff was really nice. I would definitely go back again next year.

Edita S.

Yelp
It used to be our favorite spot for apple picking. My son loves to come here to look at the bunnies . However, today we came and left right away. 25 usd per person just to enter the property and get a pumpkin is way overpriced. Family of 3 - 75 dollars plus extra charge for 3 for apple pickings- seems unreasonably high. Instead we went to alpaca farm 15 min away and our son had so much fun there. Unfortunately, we will have to look for another place.

Elina B.

Yelp
Terribly overpriced - $25 admission just to enter the grounds (applies to kids over 3). So our family of 5 would pay $125+ tax just to enter. We arrived less than 2 hours before closing, so the entrance fee seemed very wasteful. The girl at the entrance recommended going to their orchard for apple picking instead (3 min drive), and told us you just pay for the apples you pick. We drove there only to find out that each person has to buy a bag for picking, starting at $10/bag for the smallest. So yes, that's $50 for some apples (we'd never fill 5 bags). Felt like customers are just being taken advantage of. Despite driving over 1 hour to get here, we chose to leave and go elsewhere. Lots of good orchards out there that don't take advantage. Despite a good experience here in the past, we will not return.

Eats W.

Yelp
This place charges an arm and a leg for every single little "happening." Now you even have to pay just to visit the farm store? I think their apple cider donuts are excellent, and I'm grateful I can buy them from the rude person who sells them at the Trenton Farmer's Market.

Nancy D.

Yelp
During the fall they expect you to pay admission to their little fair just to go into the store. This is just greedy. We just went to another orchard as there are several in the area, and sorry, they can't top Delicious Orchards. I felt so sorry for the families who drove from New York with their little kids, only to be disappointed. They should be ashamed of themselves!

Yelp
Apple cider donuts, slushies, and apple wine!! Just a few of the highlights from a day trip to Terhune Orchards in Princeton, NJ. Terhune orchards offers a family-friendly atmosphere! I've visited mostly in the fall for apple picking with my nieces & and nephew, and wine tasting with my mom. But more recently, I visited with a friend for the Just Peachy Festival! Started with food - BBQ Chicken was ok. Fries were on point. And the apple cider was so/so. It's definitely MUCH better in the fall! The wine - They have a variety of wine tastings to choose from, based on your preference: Dry-white, red, semi-sweet, or a variety! I absolutely love the cold soil white (muscat grape base with notes of clove & pear) - so much so I never leave without a bottle to go! We found a lovely table for 2 under a shady tree and proceeded to indulge in the delectable wines! It's time to walk off the wine! We strolled around the farm, past the u-pick flower field and apple orchard. Onto the Barn Door Cafe for some peach, chocolate, and blueberry ice cream :) You can also grab a piece of pie or cool off with an apple cider slushy. Finally, off to the farm store! Picked some super sweet peaches, wine, an apple cider slushy, and a bag of the cinnamon sugar apple cider donuts - YUM!!! That sums up our day at the Just Peachy festival! The thing about Terhune Orchards is that there's something for everyone - an outing everyone will absolutely enjoy! And the fun doesn't stop there, because you can grab w/e treats you fancy to enjoy in the comfort of your own home! So, if you're in NJ, plan a trip to Terhune Orchards and get ready to have an awesome time :)

Yelp
Terhune Orchards is the true description of family fun for everyone. Plenty for the kiddos to enjoy like a petting zoo, hay rides, corn maze, and what I would compare to a "fun house", but what I was shocked and happy to see was that they had a Wine Tasting Room. Pumpkin/Apple picking just got a heck of a lot more fun. In the wine tasting room you can pick up an ordinary glass of wine OR you can try one of their wine slushies both were loved by my group. After a long day of apple/pumpkin picking we stopped by the Farmer's Market to grab a few apple cider donuts to go. Cider donuts here are 10/10 so dang delicious. Pro Tip: Parking is ample, but get here early to get parking close to the entrance. The later you get here the further you'll have to walk to get inside.
google avatar

Mary A.

Yelp
Apple picking was disappointing, the good apples were too high to reach while the lower branches had very few apples. There was an incredible amount of smashed and wasted apples on the ground. You are forced to purchase a bag for each person, so my mother who is elderly and didn't pick apples had to buy a bag for $10.00. I think $30.00 for mediocre apples is excessive. Terhune wants to have their cake and eat it too. It makes more sense to buy them at the farm store and pick the ripe red fruit. They sell the best in the store and have the apple pickers get what's left. Very disappointing. Staff are kids who look bored and can't answer questions.

Yelp
Visiting a farm on a weekday is truly a privilege. No crowds, no noise, just a few people leisurely milling about, enjoying the peace and quiet of the autumn season, just like yourself. Highly recommend choosing a weekday, instead of a weekend, to have the premises to yourself, to truly enjoy the nature. Granted, there will be no weekend festivities [for which you have to purchase tickets], but you will still have so much to do. We went apple picking in mid-October, when most apples are already gone and many farms no longer do pick your own. However, this farm had quite a lot of apples for October 17th, so we enjoyed plenty. No entrance fee to pick your own apples. You purchase a bag at the entrance. The prices are: $9 for 3.5lb bag [1/4 peck], $13 for 5lb bag [1/2 peck], $26 for 10lb bag [1 peck]. The bags on display look small, and the bag that your receive looks even smaller. You can purchase those same apples at the farm store, for cheaper, but the joy is in the picking. The apple orchard is not that large, so a few hours will be plenty for filling your bag. The farm store is located not far. You can purchase goodies, flowers, and produce. There is also a petting zoo, a playground, a swing, and a pond for family enjoyment. Pony rides and a corn maze are available for purchase. During the weekend, there is also music and food. For those "Fall Festival festivities" you need to purchase tickets, which really does not justify a long drive all the way here.

Yelp
Beautiful farm! Came for the blueberry picking season as we were too late for the strawberries. $3 per person and it gets deducted from the cost of your weighted blueberry pickings when you leave. Rows and rows of blueberry bushes, which started off as pretty tall, but majority of them are on the shorter side Parking is a bit limited so there aren't that many spots. Definitely get the apple cider slushie to cool off before you leave!
google avatar

Maulik M.

Yelp
Fun apple picking with a wide variety to choose from including Red delicious, Empire, Golden delicious and Stayman Winesap. Come early in the season for popular honey crisp. Really a nice place to go to get some super fresh sweet and a large variety of apples. It wasn't exactly cheap but it wasn't extremely expensive. They give you a nice map of the orchard and tell you which apples were ready for picking. I would imagine that weekends are crazy busy but if you like a nice day to go apple picking with someone and you don't want it to be crazy head there on a nice afternoon on a weekday in Sep there were maybe 10 cars in the parking lot and the orchard is quite large so we never really came across anyone else.
google avatar

Neferteri G.

Yelp
What a beautiful farm. We went on a weekend which is when they offer the wine tasting. The wines were delicious and they offer a large variety. This is also a very family friendly place. There is a mini zoo toward the left side of the farm. The market has some fresh fruits and veggies. I would recommend coming here on a nice summer weekend to pick some fruits or drink some wine. (Or both lol)
google avatar

Vee M.

Yelp
Their policy supposedly change to where every family member needs to purchase a bag/entree fee upon entering. They should clearly state this in on their website or social media posts.

Terence E.

Yelp
Entrance fee $22 per person regardless of age. A bit steep but OK... Family of 4, cash ready to pay $88. "Sorry, we don't accept cash". Begrudgenly we were willing to pay via credit/debit card. After fees and other BS it came to $103. $15 extra... Once you've paid this amount, you come to find that pony rides are $12. Cut flowers $12. Pumpkins - pay by the pound. Food - overpriced with lengthy lines and all no cash! Definitely NOT the place for you and the family. A relative waste of money and just a negative experience. Find another local orchard or farm.

Yelp
Terhune Orchards has been my favorite farm since we used to sell their pies in High School as a fundraiser for our crew team. Whether it's cherry picking in June, apple picking in fall, or blueberry picking in July you'll always find a time of year and reason to come here. Throughout November they are having live musical performances in their tasting room over the weekends. Weekends in October were "family fun day." This charging entry beyond parking, is a bit controversial in the posts. The farm store is probably where you want to spend the most, but the quality is exceptional and the prices are still reasonable. Daily they have fresh soups and cider donuts. They have a wide selection of produce. Check their pick your own calendar in advance if you want to do that. If not, just hop by the store, and you will see what's in season there. I really love the free baby apples available for kids at the entry. It's nice to have an offering where everybody gets to walk away with a sweet snack. If you spend money on only one thing here, go for the pies. The Apple crumb and pumpkin are our family favorites. Also, it's good manners to greet the farm dogs at the White House near the farm store. If they are not there, the farm version of the bodega kitty will be happy to be pet.

Yelp
I went here over the past weekend, my family and I were in search of a fun outdoor activity to do, ideally Apple picking and wine tasting. this was my first time coming here as an adult, so I didn't realize how much there actually is to do. we first stopped and grabbed some Apple cider donuts to pick through while we walked around but then went over to the wine tasting where we tried both the blueberry wine slushie, dry white flight and semi-sweet flight. they dry white flight was definitely the favorite with the Vidal Blanc and Farmhouse White being the favorites. The semi-sweet flight was really sweet, just peachy though was the favorite in the thought process of it'd make a great sangria. We moved on to flower picking or cutting which the flowers were gorgeous, and it was such a fun and peaceful activity. They also had pumpkins you could pick or paint for the younger kids. Tons of great spots for a photo op, and saw everyone from families, to friends hanging out, to couples on a date. We also stopped in and picked up a few more treats at the barn store on our way out. The only thing that was a little bit of a bummer is the apple picking area is at a separate location, free, but you have to leave Terhune and drive to the Apple picking orchard.
google avatar

Janani S.

Yelp
I've never gone apple picking before, but what an experience! It's a little past the Terhune Fall Festival and with free parking. No reservations needed beforehand, it's walk in! Once you go to there, you walk to a white tent where you can choose the kind of apple picking bag you want: small, medium or large bags. They have a table showing how many apples each bag can hold for your reference. You also receive a map of all the different apple orchards and where they are. As you walk into the apple orchards, you'll find rows and rows of Granny Smith apples, empire apples, Fuji apples, stayman winesap apples, golden delicious apples and red delicious! You can go up to the trees, pluck what you would like and put it in the bag you purchased. If you're short like me, they also have apple picking tools scattered throughout the orchards so you can grab it and go! I spent about 1.5 hours there, I even went back to the white tent to buy more bags to put my apples in. Please note: you can only use the bags they provide to pick your apples!!

Yelp
Total rip off ! 1 minute pony ride for $10. And there's no hay ride and no petting zoo !!! No good!!!

Yelp
One of the nurse brought delicious apple cider donuts to the ER Very delicious Nice to have an orchard around the Princeton area

Kevin W.

Yelp
I like this place because: 1) It's not so close to NYC or Philly that it gets stupid crowded. Sure there are crowds at peak season but it's not ridiculous like the orchards near the city. 2) The price of the apple bags are on the higher side but not gut busting. Going apple picking is an experience so the point is if you want cheap apples, go buy it at a supermarket. 3) The trees - they aren mercifully not so tall that you gotta grab one of those heavy ass poles to get the nice ones up top. Generally speaking a reasonably tall person can get most of the high ones and most people can easily reach the majority of apples in most trees. The only few minor takeaways is that sometimes this place can get real wet with all the heavy grass around so be sure to dress accordingly the day after a rain storm or early morning dew/fog. This is a great place for kids and families. The nearby farm store also has some really fantastic pies, cider and other nice things to pick up.
google avatar

Michael N.

Yelp
$14 pp to get in buys the right to purchase ciders, pies and donuts from Terhune's labyrinth of farm stands and wander through a smallish corn maze. Forget that this treatless trick is absurd on its face, the enormity of the crowds who don't seem to mind astound me. Before a family of four steps inside, they're already $56 in the hole and counting. There are plenty of other places to get your head-start on some Fall wanderlust that don't seem to feel picking your pocket is appropriate. And considering I can purchase their cider at any number of supermarkets in the area, why put up with it. As with most things, what the hell do I know. Judging from the crowds, not much.
google avatar

Sarah L.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite farms in Central Jersey! I used to go here every year for pie sampling and mulled wine in the winter! I also love going in the summer for outdoor live music and wine hangouts on the weekends!

Selena Y.

Yelp
Having been to a three other apple orchards over the past few years, I was actually pretty impressed with apple picking at Terhune Orchards! No entrance fee or bag fee, just pick as much as you want and pay by the pound. In other orchards, I've noticed that most apple trees are overpicked and your best chance of a "good" apple is to pick high up the tree where no one can reach. Terhune was a lot better - there were plenty of trees full of apples within arms reach, as well as several rows of trees closed off and reserved for future customers (which is nice to see that they're trying to prevent overpicking). Some of the trees aren't labeled though, so check the map to see which apples are available. Note that the apple picking is located at 13 Van Kirk Rd, which is different than their main site. My friends and I did check out their main site but it significantly more crowded and commercialized. The Fall Festival was $10 entry, and seemed geared more towards family friendly and children activities. We decided to skip it. Also a side note, but I was disappointed that their cider donuts weren't freshly fried! We bought some at the stands and in the Farm store, and they were room temp.

Yelp
Stopped here to pick blueberries on the blueberry festival weekend. Parking was easy at 9am when we came (they first opened then), and we headed over to the blueberry section of the field, covered in mesh to avoid birds. Not too many insects, the pails were easy for the little ones to carry, and we managed to get a few pounds (it's $3 a person, but counts towards the final purchase). The blueberries weren't huge, but were reasonably sweet, though many not ripe yet. Then one of the families went to put the blueberries in the car, and came back and the charge of $10/person was already in-force... so despite their family was in the farm, they had to pay $10 to come in since it was after 10am's entrance...bummer. The blueberries for sale at the counter actually came from another farm down in south Jersey, and those were bigger and sweeter - if you want to avoid the picking part. There's a playground, pony rides ($10), food (BBQ chicken, hot dogs, etc.). The apple cider donuts.... eh, soggy in the bag, so though larger they'd be better served leaving them in a cool spot and not too humid. Was disappointing. The blueberry ice cream from Maine, though, with fresh blueberries on top - that hit the spot. Various animals and games to entertain the kids for longer, puppet show, music, etc. during the festival. Some mud due to prior day's rain but was mostly impacting the walk to some toy riding tractors. The bathroom- a single port-o-potty I found was... terrible. They need to replace that with something a little cleaner and perhaps more of them.\ And yes, they make their own wines. Which I can see appeal to anyone who likes wines, but I'm not in that bucket. Free apple at the store for every kid.

Yelp
Gotten very expensive- don't think I'll be back. Between admission for an adult and a 5year old and a 1 minute pony ride and painting a pumpkin - $70.00 prices in the store are way up too. It's just too much. I saw several people leaving because of the admission.

Yelp
Has gone the way of the greedy farm........has lost a loyal customer ....just wanted to do the wine tasting......group of 4 would need to pay just under $100 to get in to get the chance to pay for the tasting even though we were not interested in anything else.......so we went to go pick some apples........$10 for a small bag (3.5lbs) everyone in the group must have a bag $40 for 14lbs.....greedy....save the trip if your coming from far...wasted an hr drive.

Yelp
Terhune is my local farm and I've been hoping they'd be more thoughtful and make some changes to accommodate their local and long term customers. Unfortunately, they're still charging people "festival admission" just to shop in their farm store on weekends from mid September through the end of October. I know that you can go during the week without paying any entrance fee, but PEOPLE WORK. Perhaps they could compromise by doing a "fall festival" on Saturdays and allowing normal operations to happen on Sundays. They certainly don't need the extra money from two days each weekend considering the entrance fee is $15 pp and they overcharge for absolutely everything when you get inside. I really feel for all of the families who have been priced out of enjoying this farm. It's insanely crowded as well. It all just feels corporate compared to how this farm used to operate when I was younger.

Yelp
Don't waste your time/money. I had so much fun here when I went three years ago. I convinced my whole family to meet me there and brought my 8 month old to experience it and it was so different! First off it was 12$ to buy tickets online and then when I went to do it the next day they raised the price to $15 just for general admission. When we got there we realized there was no hayride at all which is why I brought my son in the first place. The apple cider donuts seemed old and no cinnamon sugar or flavor. The wine used to be served in actual glasses and now it was flimsy plastic cups that easily spilled when you walked back to a picnic table. The corn maze was not a maze it was a walk - literally you just walked through no maze at all. I was also told they didn't reopen the hayride since covid because they didn't want people sitting next to each other - you literally have every other activity set up with out any covid social distancing. Normal busy lines, child play centers packed with kiddos all touching the same toys, no rules for the corn maze...like this made no sense. Seems like they are just being cheap. I recommend Linvilla early in the day b/c it gets crowded as it was no admission fee, awesome hayride and corn maze, hot apple cider donuts, wood fired pizza and just so much more to do!!!

Yelp
This farm/orchard is on my bucket list for this coming fall! I'd gone at the end/late fall, and realized how cute of a little orchard it was. The apple cider here is crisp, cold, and delicious - the apple cider donuts are warm and fluffy. They had a massive expanse of "grab your own" pumpkin patch, and I'm sure apple picking here is both fun and tasty. It's only an hour outside of NYC, making it both accessible and relatively quick to get to with a pretty easy drive. I'll be back this fall!

Yelp
Very appreciative on how everyone socially distanced and kept their masks on. I felt very safe. There definitely wasnt as many animals as advertised so that was a bit disappointing to say the least. And the pumpkin patch wasn't exactly a patch, so much as a bunch of pumpkins thrown together in a grassy area but I guess that's fine unless you wanted to pick your own. There's a corn maze and pumpkin painting all great for a nice day at the farm. There's also pony rides but it's a whopping $10 for a 2 mins ride which I thought was extreme. I definitely recommend but go with a different set of expectations than I had and you won't be disappointed

Yelp
I visited on a weekend to pick fruit and flowers. We also enjoyed live music, wine, snacks and picked up some goodies from the farm shop. The PYO flowers are pretty cheap - I forget the exact price but I got a huge bundle of flowers for like $3. They have mostly zinnias but some others mixed in. It's not a huge flower field but a decent number of rows to walk through and pick...enough that you can distance in the time of covid. Their grounds also include takeout wine and farm market goodies or you can purchase snacks and wine by the glass to enjoy on site while listening to live music. Their fresh peach salsa and guac was amazing!! I got an extra tub to bring home.

Yelp
I have been here on many occasions and it is always a positive experience. Most recently, I came here during peak fall to experience the Fall festival. Everyone was wearing a mask and Terhune was closely monitoring crowds by only allowing those with a ticket to enter the actual festival area. I felt that everyone was socially distancing and it was a positive experience in terms of safety. The wine tasting area is HUGE with plenty of seating and you are allowed 2 hours in this area. There are plenty of snacks such a delicious cheese board that are reasonably priced. I also opted for some apple cider donuts which were perfectly sugary with a great flavor. The wine itself is mostly Jersey sweet wine but there are also some great reds such as the Barn Red, which I recommend. After you leave the wine tasting, there is a shopping area where you can purchase every fall food you can think of as well as fresh fruits and veggies. Terhune Orchards is the perfect way to spend a socially distant fall day!

Yelp
Ive been coming here for years. The fall time is especially great. The pies and donuts are delicious. I love the lemon blueberry pie! So good. The jams and butters are good too.
