I stayed at Terma Linca Resort & Spa, Bhutan, in Room 310 on October 25–26, and had an extremely unpleasant experience. In evening, I discovered a rat inside my room — which I have on video. The hotel staff eventually caught the rat, but their explanation was deeply disappointing: they casually said “it’s getting cold outside, and rats often enter rooms.”
For a property that belongs to Royal family and advertises itself as a luxury resort, this level of hygiene and pest control is absolutely unacceptable. I expected far higher standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism. I hope the management takes immediate corrective action to prevent this from happening to future guests.
Otherwise Rooms are spacious and maintained. Property by the stream is beautiful. Indian food is ok. Bhutanese people are polite and hospitable
