Amazing scenic views from every room. The rooms are very spacious and grande! We had a suite which was massive. Giant windows that look upon the Wang Chu River. The staff is delightful and very helpful. The food at the restaurant was good with plenty of vegetarian options. They even provide you with Bhutanese dress which you can use during your stay. They will even help you dress up and the background is picture perfect for all your photos. The spa was incredible. I have had massages around the world and I would easily rank my deep tissue as one of the best I have ever had! Do not miss the spa. The whole hotel property is serene and relaxing. Terma Linca leaves you with a sense of calm and refreshment.

Wonderfully located resort with the river flowing and lush green meadows with mountain in the backdrop. Luxurious and spacious room. Great hospitality with choice of food and beverages. The resort is very spacious where one can go for long walks by the river without leaving the resort. Fresh air and musical sound of flowing water makes it a very serene experience.

My husband and I stayed in Terma Linca Resort & Spa for 2 nights on 18th and 19th March and fell in love with the location! It runs parallel to river Wang Chu with a mountain in the background. The walkway is lined with beautiful weeping willow, peach and cypress trees amongst others and the whole landscape is utterly beautiful, making you want to capture every inch of it on your camera! ||Our room was on the first floor with windows overlooking the river. All the rooms have the same nice view though. There’s a good seating space too next to the windows, ample storage space and a safe too. The bathroom is spacious too.||The food was good with options for vegetarians too and one can order a meal or teas and coffees by the river – which was a really nice experience for people like us who live in crowded cities. ||For those who are interested, every room is provided with traditional Bhutanese costumes that you can borrow and click photos in that attire without having to venture out to do so. The staff are super-efficient and Tshering in the restaurant and Tashi in the bar were exceptionally good. We also used the spa and the therapists were good and very professional.||We would love to go back and spend 2 or 3 days again at Terma Linca when we aren’t hiking or exploring the city so we can soak in nature and make the most of our stay.

The mark of a superb hotel is its ability to recover from criticism. We had some plumbing issues on our first night, but the hotel couldn't do enough to help us the next two evenings. The property is splendidly located outside of town on a rushing creek with mountain views and the most beautiful willow trees just outside the windows. The chef made us custom poori bread for every meal, and the breakfast offerings were generous and plentiful.|The mid-century-modern furnishings are a bit tired in places, but we savored the ample picture windows and big interior spaces.

Terma Linca is situated in a beautiful location, along side a river. The architecture is so impressive - traditional and yet modern. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, with everything you may need. The service was impeccable - they took care of our every need. We also had our breakfast and dinners here during the stay and the food was delicious. They took care of our every need and want with a smile. Amazing location, service, rooms and vibe - a little distant from the city as well. Highly recommend stay here.

Our Room was spacious and warm courtesy of an efficient space heater. ||Clean and comfortable with a small fridge and a long couch for relaxing, the accommodation was perfect for our short stay!||Staffs were always available and also very helpful, checking with us each time we passed by the front desk.||The second story restaurant overlooks the river where one can enjoy the view while dining! The bar is located just below the restaurant and also looks out unto the water!||It was off season with only a few guests, so the restaurant meals were À La Carte and the offering was a tasty selection of Bhutanese dishes!||The hotel is riverside, most rooms including ours look out over the river as well there are some nice benches for sitting and paths along the river for enjoyment on warmer days.||Suitable for a short or longer stay we enjoyed our short time in this authentic riverside resort!

2025 the second time, but never again, I warn you, if you have a complaint, please do not pay in advance. I stayed at this hotel for the second time after 2010. I booked four days, but left Terma Linca after two days because of the miserable mattresses, although exchanged. I had paid four days in advance at the reception and therefore wanted to get the two-open days back. The defect caused by the lack of function of the mattresses, although exchanged for a mattress after a day at my request, the result was even worse than on the first day. I could hardly sleep more than an hour consecutively. I already complained by phone at the reception on the first day and again on the second day.|||The manager said in a long, intense conversation that he did not have the power to return any money I had paid. The house is royally owned. I have experience with more than 1500 hotels in decades where there have been very rare problems, I have never had to pay for inconsistencies of unclaimed days. Basically, the guest is right in this case, as it was here, there is never much discussion about it by the management, which is otherwise always very disadvantageous and counterproductive for the hotel.|The manager said in a long, intense conversation that he did not have the power to return any money I had paid.
