Termas del Sol

A lovely place to chill, and highlight of my stay in the Chilean Lake District. Before travelling here, I had corresponded with the staff on the logistics of travelling here, and information was readily given, including manner of public transport from Puerto Montt and taxi services from nearby hotels. The ten pools (one was with cold water) were a delight to soak in. The cafe offered a good selection of beverages and food. I saw staff checking the pool temperatures very regularly. Those i spoke with all spoke English and were approachable. It was definitely a good choice coming here. One could spend a whole day here.

4.5 stars - these are hands down the best thermes we have been to in Chile. Clean, beautiful and surrounded by nature. Peaceful and relaxing. On a previous review on another therme I had stated that we were yet to find a therme that could compete with the likes of Germany or NZ. And I think we have. - if you are heading this way, don’t miss this one. - cost £ 36000 pp for the entire day. - I would have given five stars but they are missing showers. On the website they state it’s so you can soak in the benefits of the minerals. Which is a lovely idea but not when you need to wash your hair. We are camping so hoped to make the most of a hair wash.

Treated ourselves on a rainy day in the area. Such a nice place, the cafe is great, the facilities are spacious and really nicely done. Had the place almost to ourselves, a really special place

Definitely can spend at least 4 hours here. Great ambience and well maintained. The lockers are provided free (with id card). Bathrooms and changing areas are neat and clean. There are 10 pools with increasing temperatures. The hotter ones are smaller. The hottest pool is 45C and it is paired with an 18C pool. So nice to take a cold dip and a hot dip :) They also had guided meditation around 2 pm in one of the bigger hot pools. Highly recommend. The cafeteria food is also great and the service is awesome. We went on a Friday and hence possibly it was less crowded. I would imagine the weekends would be crowded?

Excellent! Very nice hot water pools of different temperatures. Well landscaped with good facilities for changing and showering.

Absolutely incredible experience 🥰 we had a beautiful time, spent many hours soaking in the gorgeous atmosphere and sampling the drinks they had available. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the space was breathtaking. Highly recommend! We went on a Sunday afternoon, and it was a little busy but still quiet and there’s luckily many pools so it never felt crowded.

Stopped for lunch and coffee on a rainy drive south. So stoked on the pizza and coffee here. The whole place has an excellent vibe in the forest and wish we could have stayed longer to get in the hot springs. They said they like foreigners there so be sure to swing by.

This place is absolutely lovely. I went mid week, and it was gorgeous. The pools were very well maintained, getting checked often. The pizza for lunch was the best I’ve had in 4 weeks of traveling in Argentina and Chile. This is a not to be missed location. So amazing, tranquil, and well run.
