Probably the best option to stay in Ternopil. Exceptionally located, nice views if you're on the waterfront side, spacious outside parking. Breakfast is served in hotel's Panorama restaurant, is pretty standard buffet with variety of cold and hot dishes. Coffee is good, there are some local dishes as well. I liked syrnyki, which are a sort of small cottage cheese pancakes? Rooms are small but comfy and clean. Freshly reconstructed. The local staff are friendly and helpful. Reception desk works 24/7, and lady speaks decent English. You'll need ID for checking in.

Booked a suite for an overnight stop over. Room was generally fine by local standards. But in the early morning, a foul-smelling maintenance person entered the room unannounced while I was in an adjoining room of the suite. We had no call from the front desk. They wanted to renovate a window, a non-emergency fix. When we reported this issue to the front desk, they blamed us for allowing the maintenance person in the room. They claimed they would punish maintenance staff and apologized for this and offered vague oral assurances. This suite did not have an internal hotel lock so hotel staff or anyone with a key could enter. This is basic hotel security for last half of the 20th Century. No signs or warning would stop this. Hotel needs to respect guests. Fine the maintenance staff by having them place internal locks on all rooms or offer a more tangible assurance to guests when the hotel violates their privacy. I note that this should be done for the safety of your staff as unannounced entries can be dangerous for them too. Management may say what they wish but without any written assurance, do not believe them. Also wanted to note that Housekeeping was also rude in their comments to us. Though not unique to this hotel, still I expect a "luxury hotel" to have better attitude from staff.

Ternopil is a lovely city and the Hotel "Ternopil" is perfectly situated to enjoy everything the city has to offer. The hotel staff is friendly and the accommodations are clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. The restaurant doesn't have a very wide selection of drinks but their food selection is huge. The herring and the borsch were delicious. The breakfast was amazing and had an excellent selection of savory and sweet items. There is a parking lot in back with a 24 hour attendant, and the lake is a few steps away from the hotel. I would gladly stay here again!

It is an excellent location and very convenient for the lake side and there is a nice park nearby. The staff here were very nice especially the lady on reception and the gentleman who worked the door and whilst yes the décor is a bit outdated and the lift reminded me of a small lift in a coal mine the hotel is perfectly clean and acceptable for a short stay. The breakfast room was a little bit of a surprise, it's all imitation white marble and columns but the breakfast was good so no complaints. It's never going to be a destination or a resort hotel but fine for one night.

This is a very nice hotel, good staff, nice breakfast, modern, clean and comfortable.||BUT! ||It is above a disco that plays very loud music until 2am.||So if you are a light sleeper or want peace and quit, ths is not the place for you||||When I say loud, I mean loud! The whole building shakes. Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!||We came for a business meeting but were sleepy the next day.||||Our room had a nice view of the lake, and was otherwise good.

I spent 4 nights at this wonderful hotel in late July, 2019. It is very clean and neat with excellent breakfast. The staff are friendly. Very convenient location overlooking the lake and close to many tourist attractions and just a few minutes walk from the centre of the city. I enjoyed my stay there and overall, I had a wonderful time in the beautiful city of Ternopil.

Nice quaint hotel situated in the heart of the city within walking distance to restaurants, bars or taking in of the city's history. If you are lucky you can get a room that overlooks the artificial lake and the vendors spouting ice cream and other snacks. There is a boat ride that you can take onto the lake that gives you a bit of the cities scenery. Nice restaurant that serves breakfast to music played on a piano, and good evening dinning. Clean, very good service and comfortable.

Well, let's start with virtues of this place. As for me they have really great terrace with amazing view. Could not take my eyes off that picture. Located in the center, easy to get there. The staff is helpful and friendly. I settled in Studio Superior room. It was nice, pretty big with a little kitchen and all I needed around. The bighest flaw is it still captured by Soviet union. Food was just Okay, nothing special but enough not bad.
