Terra Croatica

It’s easy to get lost amongst all of the shops in the Old Town, especially when so many are offering the basic and repetitive souvenirs. This shop really stands out far and above many others. They are family owned and run, friendly and very knowledgeable about true Croatian products. There is a great variety of products, very high quality, and lots of options for those travelling with only carry on luggage (100 mls or less). A great place to get some authentic Croatian products for both your travels and to take back home with you!

A little gem of a shop that bucks the trend for cheap tat. They have a fantastic selection of produce, mostly from the Dalmatia region; olive oils, special liqueurs, soap, candied fruit, nuts, an amazing array of chocolates, beautiful olive oil wood boards, wine, honey and loads more. Lots of travel-sized bottles, great for gifts or as quality souvenirs for yourself.

The place is beautifully presented and all the products are amazing. I was greeted by a lovely lady who helped me , I believe her name was Nikolina and she was very helpful and friendly. I loved that all the products are from Croatia and it is refreshing to see a nice place with local products.

You can buy the same exact product (a small fig cake, 12 euros) for three times cheaper at the supermarket 100 meter away. The prices are way too high

I loved this store so much from the first moment I walked in. I saw so many original pieces there so I know I'll have to go back for more! Also was very happy with Jovana's service. She was very knowledgable about all the items and was very kind and friendly. Keep up the good work, hope to see you soon.

This store is a real gem in old town. Beautiful local art, and nice quality culinary items. Great place for gifts. Exceptional service from Jovalia!

I wanted to buy some Christmas presents, they had a notice that are closed on the 16th and the 17th of December for inventory check so I came back on the 18th of December and was standing outside at 10:50 am finishing a call on my phone and in the mean time while I was standing in front of the store they casually put up the notice that they aren’t working, even though they’ve been open since 9 am. The way they handled the situation was very disappointing, I understand that on certain days they are closed for some reasons and it was announced for previous days so it’s not a problem but I don’t know how can it be considered profesionnal to just randomly put up a sign you’re not working in the middle of a working day with a customer standing in front of your doors, hospitality par excellence.

It’s a nice store with a lot of local products. Overpriced. Great shop for souvenirs. Everything is nicely presented, and the customer service is good. But the prices here are ridiculous. For some food items, you can find them 20-40% cheaper in other stores. I even found the store at the Dubrovnik airport to be cheaper than this. Buyer beware, shop around first.
