Terra Incognita Ecotours gave us the most fantastic experience to visit the Galapagos Islands this summer! My father and I planned a trip for 2020, which was canceled due to COVID travel restrictions and subsequently we had to cancel the rescheduled trips (a couple times). Throughout all of this, TIE was so patient and worked with us to make sure we would not lose our deposit and we could finally go on a dream trip. On our TIE trip, everything was so meticulously planned, and executed. Our guide was extremely kind and knowledgeable as we visited all the islands and all of the accommodations were so comfortable and welcoming. But, it wasn't just that the nature was beautiful and the service was great, there were so many details that made the trip special. I had my birthday during the ecotour, and I came back to a birthday surprise in my room. Also, since I am a vegetarian, I was worried it might be difficult to eat but the crew on the yacht made special dishes to accommodate me. It was incredibly kind and made me feel truly cared for. This was a blissful vacation. I strongly recommend TIE for a fabulous voyage to an exciting place!

I have now done three trips with Ecotours to India, the Arctic and Patagonia. Both were planned to the last detail in terms of sights, food, travel and organisation. I have travelled with many wildlife companies but none match the personal service and local representation at each location. They ensure you have the greatest opportunity to see all the wildlife and local sights without being amongst groups of other tourists.

Traveling with the folks at Terra Incognita exceeded our expectations. Not only did everything happen on time as promised, the guides were very friendly and super knowledgeable. On my first trip with them, I noticed that several of the other travelers in our group had already gone on one or more trips with Terra Incognita because their experience had been so good. So it's 5 stars because I can't give them ten!
