Terra Luna Lodge

My family of 3 (2 adults and 1 teenager) stayed here for 4 nights in December 2024. Our room was Tiny House 1. The room was cozy and warm and the view of the lake was AMAZING. The shower was fine, with good hot water which is so needed after a cold, windy hike in Patagonia! The staff was friendly and helpful and the kitchen staff was absolutely excellent. The chefs went out of their way to accommodate the dietary needs and preferences of my whole family (one of us is vegetarian and cannot eat wheat). The delicious meals were truly a highlight of our stay. The restaurant is also lovely, with fantastic views of the lake at every meal. We also indulged ourselves with the use of one of the hotel's hot tubs, which was a unique experience because of the stunning view and the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the cold waters of the lake and then go back to the hot tub. The jet boat tour was great, too. Would definitely go back and highly recommend.

Excellent place to stay! Our stay was for three nights in an igloo with an impressive view. During the day with a view of the lake, at night with a view of the stars. Extremely cozy and warm, with the opportunity to merge as much as possible with the magic of Patagonia. If you wish, you can light a wood-burning stove, and the staff constantly takes care of replenishing the wood. The combination of comfort with authenticity allows for absolute relaxation. The Terra Luna team is extremely professional and caring. They gave us practical advice and adequately responded to our service needs. I cannot express in words all my satisfaction, experience and respect for the professionalism of the team when visiting the Leones Glacier! I highly recommend it, but it is not for people with demands for comfort. This is an adventure that is worth every effort! The food is excellent, the waiters are impeccable in their service. The breakfast is completely sufficient. If you are interested in seeing the glaciers by helicopter, I recommend booking in advance. Otherwise, you are not guaranteed to be included in the flight.

Vile, disgusting, dirty lodging. We were meant to stay two days, only lasted one night. Not fit for human habitation. Cabin old, falling apart, completely uncomfortable, minute. Stairwell a health/safety hazard, toilet non functioning, fridge shelves broken, front door too warped to close. No views of lake from our cabin. This is an honest review. Look at the photos. The location is AMAZING. However, I was very dissapointed with the breakfast. For the price we are paying, we should have gotten more than rations. No fruit, vegetables or yoghurt. We were offered half a slice of ham and half a slice of cheese each and when we asked for more, we were denied. Some bread, butter and marmalade. Quite dissapointing. Also, no one mentioned helicopter tours were available when we checked in. Thankfully, we saw it landing and booked a ride then and there. Highly, highly recommend a heli tour!!

The perfect spot to recharge your batteries after some extensive hiking and camping. Don't forget to book the hottub with an amazing view.

We ended up here by accident after a long drive. Such a wonderful, welcoming place. Our room was very comfortable, right on the lake. The restaurant was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. And the views! Spectacular lake with snow capped mountains in the distance. There were many more activities on site that we didn't have time to experience. Would highly recommend!

Amazing place and team of people. Friendly, courteous, take care of every little things. Owner Phillip and his staff are out of this 🌎. I have traveled 76 countries so far and this I would rate as top 3. Their staff knew we are vegetarians and had food restrictions so they even Chef created special menu for 4 days we spent there for all our 3 meals of the day. All activities are in 🏠 so all staff know us and take care. It's amazing. Can't thank them enough.

We booked one helicopter ride for 380 dollars and sealed the price via whatsapp. The information provided before the flight was super basic and we had to ask sentence by sentence. They said to arrive between 8.30 and 9.00, and when we arrived at 8.45, everyone seemed to be waiting and the pilot seemed pissed. I heard after the flight from another passenger that they were already about to leave without us because we were not showing up. Poor communication again. The flight itself was amazing, the pilot really knew his job although he was not friendly at all. Nevertheless, after the flight they told us its 400 usd and the unfriendly reception lady was just like '20 dollars more wont hurt you'. Yes, the flight was longer and better than expected but there was no communication or explanation and we just felt treated with no respect as a customer. Basically take it, pay it and shut up. This kind of sabotaged the whole experience for us. In short: Breathtaking flight, professional pilot, poor customer service.
