Terra Maria Hotel

A lovely hotel nestled in a quiet side street off the main ‘road’ in Mykonos town. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The reception is 24hr. The room was clean and comfortable, with the option to have it cleaned every day.

Terrible experience. I booked and paid for my vacation through Booking.com and promptly received confirmation. However, just 48 hours before departure, the property Terra Maria began sending me repeated messages claiming they had never received the payment from Booking.com — which turned out to be untrue. Of course. I was forced to contact Booking.com support to request a cancellation, and only after that was I contacted directly by the property with an alternative offer, bypassing Booking altogether. This behavior was highly unprofessional and caused unnecessary stress and uncertainty right before the trip. I strongly advise against booking here.

I had a confirmed booking at Terra Maria for this summer, made and paid for through Booking.com over two months in advance. Just one week before my trip, I received a message from the hotel claiming they had not received the payment from the provider and that my reservation was therefore not confirmed — despite my payment being completed long ago. After numerous emails and phone calls between both the hotel and Booking.com, the reservation was ultimately canceled. To make matters worse, no refund has been issued yet. Shortly after the cancellation, I received a phone call from the hotel suggesting I could pay again, this time directly to them, in order to “secure the room.” That request felt like a blatant attempt to double-charge me. This experience was not only stressful but completely unacceptable. It raises serious concerns about how this property handles bookings and payments. I would strongly advise others to be very cautious when considering a stay here.

The hotel is located i the middle of the old town. It was really easy to go every where. The room was bit small to put luggage, but was cute,clean, have great terrace, jacuzzi.Also the staff and household so kind. My room wasn’t that noisy at night, but i heard other room was noisy at night. It was pleasure to stay there. I might stay again next time!

Although the walk to the hotel is dreadful, especially with big bags. The location and accommodation was perfect! It was in the heart of little Venice but away from all of the noise. Easy to walk around everywhere, and go back for a nap before going out again. I would recommend Terra Maria for anyone wanting to stay in Little Venice.

The hotel was very nice. It is about a 10 minute walk from the bus station, but right in the middle of all the shops and restaurants. It is not the most elegant hotel in the world and they do not act like it. They are however clean, incredibly nice, and made us feel at home. The price was more than fair and the bed was very comfortable. They knew us and called us by name and that was an amazing touch. I do not expect them to ever remember a guest as there are so many, but it is obvious the staff takes great pride in what they do. If you are looking for a room to stretch out in then I'd skip this hotel. If you are looking for a room to drop your stuff and explore Mykonos then don't hesitate to book. Thank you so much for a great stay and hopefully one day we will be back to say hello and grab a cookie.

Stayed at Terra Maria Hotel for 5 nights. Hotel is situated in the city center. At night there is sound coming from outside, but nothing too loud to disturb sleep. Ear plugs can be helpful if one is sensitive to noise during sleep. Cleaning servixe on point every day. Value for money was very good. Would definetly recommend!

The hotel location is good and very close to Little Venice and Windmills (both around 5-10 mins walk). The hotel is in quiet area and have a nice bakery nearby. But because I go there is low season, there are no one in the reception area and I spend a bit time to figure out how to get my rooms. The overall experiences are nice here for me.
