Nice place to stay just one complaint. That is, they need to be more clean, and the blanket had a bad smell like not used for a long time. So they should clean it. Otherwise, it is a nice and nice view from tarrece room.

The hotel was clean, staff friendly and the shower was new with great water pressure. Breakfast was basic but it did the job. Great location in terms of really central to Braga. Although there is a lift to the rooms there is no disabled access to reception so anyone with mobility issues would struggle. Lovely old building but the electrics were a bit dodgy and a really old air con unit in the room tripped the electric in the whole hotel when we tried to use it. Thankfully they had a fan they could lend us as otherwise the room would have been very uncomfortable for how hot it was there in my visit.

Excellent city centre location, close to all Braga highlights, restaurants , bars etc.||The hotel appears to have 3 parking spaces on the nearby road just outside the pedestrianised area, but they were all taken, so we found alternative, free, on street parking.||This is a small, recently refurbished, traditional hotel. Potential guests with limited mobility should be aware that there is no disabled access to Reception; it is up a steep flight of stairs. There is a lift to other floors.||The rooms are quirky, but spotlessly clean and comfortable. We had a quiet room at the rear.||The breakfast was generous and delicious.||Staff speak good English and are very welcoming and helpful.||Excellent for Braga stay and very good value.

This is the kind of place I feel like seasoned travellers can appreciate. The hotel's location couldn't be better, rooms and common areas are spotless, the continental breakfast buffet was more then enough and the customer service from Claudio and Florinda was outstanding. I had a warm and peaceful rest, appreciated the spacious bathroom with tub as well as tea in the room and had excellent Wifi on the third floor. The vintage/eclectic decor in the hotel worked for me and the staff are more than happy to help with luggage for the first flight of stairs to reception (there is an elevator inside for further transport). Thank you Claudio and see you again!

Right in the heart of Braga.. Everything is walking distance, shops, cafes, sights, taxis, etc... the rooms are so lovely You experience a real European vibe. The owner speaks perfect English.. staff is gracious. Some rooms have a balcony with a lovely view. The pricing is very reasonable and breakfast is included. I have stayed in many high end hotels but they feel very corporate and cold. This hotel feels like home away from home.

After a disastrous apartment booking that we cancelled, we found this hotel, sanity restored. ||Warmly welcomed by Claudio and we had a great room. 311. Has a balcony and you can see Bom Jesus from there.||The hotel is old and eclectic but clean and the bed was very comfortable. Fresh orange juice and rolls and croissants for breakfast. Ham and cheese not a British type of breakfast but there were some cornflakes and also yoghurt. Coffee not great, would be better if it was hot. Easy enough to buy a coffee back out in the town.||The room had a fridge, tv,, kettle and tea and coffee provided. Also free Wifi.||Don't come to Braga if you don't want to hear church bells, we weren't fussed as they turn off at 10pm and back on at 7am. Plenty of time to sleep between those times. The road was quiet as it is pedestrianised.||Good recommendations from Claudio as to where to eat and other places for us to visit another time.||Thank you Claudio for your hospitality and our talks on world politics.

We enjoyed a stay here 34 years ago, and it hasn't changed a bit. Old fashioned, very comfortable, extremely friendly. A lovely breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice, and good coffee. Central and close to numerous cafés and bars in this friendly city. Very good value. Thoroughly recommended.

Quiet city-centre hotel on a pedestrianised street. Rooms are fine, not luxury but perfectly okay. Breakfast is good. And the manager, Claudio, was extremely helpful fixing up an English-speaking taxi-driver for us.
