Long Beach Terrace Theater

Visited for Disney on ice. Amazing seat for the stage sec 102 row F seats 1&2. Close to bars, food, and restrooms, plus it right by the escaltor. Would definitely be back for more events there. Can't for get the mention how nice all the staff was!

Sweet here for the Gary Owen show 😁 Good laughs good people and great vibes!! But the lines to get into the venue was CRAZY all the way out to the street. But we say down waited and walked right in using a different line 🧐

Beautiful venu. Enjoyed the ambiance of location. Security/parking and entry was a breeze. Loved that its on smaller side so any seat was a good seat.

I took my Mom over the Weekend for the comedy show and was quite disappointed that we were not allowed to use the restrooms in the building, but instead asked to stand outside until the doors opened for the second show and to use the Porta Potties outside. Absolutely NOT! I refuse to get dressed up nice, pay all of that money for tickets, and then use potable toilets!!! Perhaps with all of the security they have walking around, they could be kind enough to escort patrons to the restrooms inside of the venue, rather than outside.

During a recent trip to Long Beach, I discovered the Long Beach Terrace Theater, and it quickly became one of my favorite spots. Over two days, we found ourselves visiting three or four times, each time enjoying the tranquil ambiance created by the beautiful fountains. It’s a fantastic place to relax, people-watch, or simply have a conversation with friends. One memorable visit was when we grabbed lunch from a local food truck and sat right in front of the terrace, soaking in the serene atmosphere while enjoying the soothing sounds of the water. The combination of great food, lovely views, and a peaceful setting made for a perfect lunch experience. If you’re looking for a calming spot to unwind in Long Beach, I highly recommend the Long Beach Terrace Theater. It’s a gem that truly enhances the charm of the area!

We saw I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change at the Beverly O'Neil Theater.. what an amazing production, great singing great acting and great music. The theater is clean, comfortable and has amazing acoustics too. Will definitely be back next time we're in town.

Good times at terrace theatre, Aziz Ansari was great. Plush seating and friendly staff. Only regret is I didn’t take a photo of the white giraffe, maybe next time. Also grabbed pre show dinner at Saint and Second which was a short drive from my his venue.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Long Beach Terrace Theatre during the holiday season, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the beautiful Christmas decorations that can be seen from miles away. It truly creates a magical atmosphere that sets the tone for a festive outing. As someone who came from out of town, I was searching for a place to visit in Long Beach, and the Terrace Theatre popped up on my radar. I'm so glad it did! The venue is absolutely stunning, and the centerpiece—a magnificent Christmas tree—adds a touch of elegance and holiday cheer that is hard to miss. The entire experience was delightful, and I found myself immersed in the beautiful surroundings, making it a perfect spot for photos and holiday spirit. If you're looking for a must-visit location during the holiday season, the Long Beach Terrace Theatre should be at the top of your list. It's a wonderful place to soak in the festive ambiance and enjoy the beauty of the season!

I enjoy experiencing events at this theatre. It is clean, the perfect size for every seat to be a good seat, and they do not tolerate ratchetry. The venue is easily accessible and parking is super close.

Came to this venue for the first time with my sister to watch, Come Far Away (fortunate to have watch this 2-night showing of this wonderful production). NOTE: My review is soley based on the venue. Located in DTLB beside neighboring business such as, Aquarium of the Pacific, LB Convention Center, and the Fairmont Breakers Hotel just to name a few. We prepaid for parking online and had no problem finding the structure, which was just a short walk to the theater. Beautiful fascade with colorful lighting to showcase the building and the dancing water fountain outside, which gave off a low scale Bellagio (Vegas) vibe, sans background music of course, pretty cool nonetheless. Great security staff as we entered, but we did see a few transients outside. The main lobby was multi-leveled, open and airy. Their auditorium was clean and definitely spacious. The stage had plenty of room to accommodate the set design, cast, and live band. The acoustics were wonderful. Their bathrooms were clean, but I wasn't sure if there were more restrooms located somewhere else within venue. Funny seeing the long line coming from both the women's and the men's joining as one. Plus points for having more than one cocktail station though! LOL. All in all, my sister and I enjoyed this venue. We would definitely come back to watch future shows. Till next time...

I loved the show. Come From Away was great, as was the company. The theater however left much to be desired. It felt too big. Once the show started they let people in... Multiple rows in front of us were sat all the way in the middle with empty side seats. It seemed a nuisance to seat people after the show has started. Then, directly in front of us... a woman texted the entire first song and 5-7 minutes of the show communicating with someone else in the theater. She finally got up and never came back...theater etiquette?!? Other than that the show was great. We might be back to see Book of Mormon but might spring for closer seats. It feels like a huge auditorium. This show was much better on Broadway in a small theater. But I'm happy to still be able to see this heartfelt show.

Great concerts happen here and the sound is terrific. BUT we had to wait in the cold outside for 30 minutes to get inside!!!!!!!!!! And once inside the theatre was absolutely freezing. Very uncomfortable. so beware.

I finally can check Shen Yun off my bucket list now, I had the opportunity to see this breathtaking authentic Classical Chinese dance, music and storytelling performances. Shen Yun name meaning is the divine beauty, Inter feeling in dance and movements. This classical Chinese performances started in NYC in 2006 and it was banned from China in 1990 because of the religous movemont, they put on a amazing show that deal with the ancient Chinese culture, the dancing, acting, songs, dialogus, colorful costumesand the music is all awesome, they all put on one hell of a show, I love it from the beginning to the end, they are very strict about the audience taking pictures, or videoing, there are ushers holding signs not to do it. I would love to see this again and I'm too.

I went to see "Come From Away"--an outstanding musical I had seen twice before. Though the performers were very good, the balance between singers and orchestra made it hard to hear the singers. The theater is lovely, but our seats were far away and sight was blocked by a handrail. Finally, we had to park in a distant lot and there were no programs, printed or online. Given the seats cost $200 each, we were disappointed.

Went to see Air Supply last night, the show was fantastic, but I have some issues with the venue. So you're having a concert event on a Saturday night and the women's restrooms on the main floor are broken? Seriously? Unacceptable. Also, please note that this is a theater better suited to seeing musicals or speakers, etc. Because you're basically going to be required to sit there for the whole show. If you go to see a concert, and you try to stand up People are gonna yell at you. Which I think is really ridiculous. If they wanted to sit down, then they should've stayed home and watch Netflix.

I attended Ali Wong's stand-up show at the Terrace Theater in Long Beach last Friday. The show was a blast. There were signs stating that no cell phones were allowed to be recording or photographing inside the theater. When we arrived, we were directed to park in the convention center parking lot which was $15 per car. We quickly made our way to the C level and walked over the bridge to the theater and directed around to where they set up the metal detectors and security checks. We arrived at 6:30 before the 7:00 pm show. There were two food trucks parked in the plaza outside the entrance to the theater. There was also a bar outside but we were also told that there were 14 bars inside the theater too. I did not see any food options inside other than pretzels so I was safe to order food from the food trucks. We got our food and chowed down before entering the theater. We actually had a chance to use the ladies' room too. By the time we took a quick pick in the lobby, it was time for Ali to take the stage. We got in just in time as she was starting her set. The show was great and we exited the theater shortly after her set.

Audio for a comedy show was bad. I could not understand the 1st act at all. The 2nd just a little more. The main comedian kept the mike further away from his face so I was able to pick up more. The man next to me was complaining through out the show because of the audio. Others around me were translating for others in their group. Was so looking forward to this show. Sorry I missed it because I couldn't hear. Waste of money. Not sure if this was a 1 off situation or if the theater needs to update their audio.

Came here to see Paw Patrol Live with my family. Parking kinda sucked. There was such a long line to just get into the structure but once we parked it was a breeze to get in the theater and find out seats. We got balcony seats and honestly it wasn't bad. We could see everything clearly. Decent amount of vendors inside for food, drinks and souvenirs. The bathrooms were clean too.

Shen Yun?! Yes, please! I always said that if they're ever in town, I would love to take the opportunity to go see as I heard so many good things about it. Opportunity knocked. I took it, and this is how I ended up here. I'm not really familiar with this area, so I took the time to research: how much time it'll take to get here from home, parking (this is REALLY important), prepped for contingencies (it was a rainy SoCal weekend), etc... I planned ahead so I didn't miss any part of the show. Funny enough, I planned it so well, my friend and I got here a little too early. But no biggie: this gave me the chance to take it all in. What a beautiful structure from the outside and even more so once inside. There were plenty of informational displays and booths regarding the show. Same for snacks and drinks (nothing big, pretzels, chips, soda and the like.) Great views of the general area on all corners. This is a well thought out building! The main hall's appearance was nothing to call home about, but the acoustics were excellent! The orchestra was strategically placed and the music coming from them was almost breathtaking. (Parking is $15 - YAY! And it's covered, so rain wasn't that much of an issue.) The one downside: bathrooms. They're not enough. The lines were so long with not enough stalls. I almost missed the 2nd part of the show. The other downside: the show itself. Maybe because I didn't read up on it enough that I may not have had sufficient information to appreciate it. I guess I expected more acrobatics? Or just MORE - because after 3 or 4 dance routines, the ones that followed were pretty much similar to what we'd already seen. The costumes, however, were incredibly impressive. They spared no expense on that part of the show. TIP: Pre-pay parking tickets online. This will at least secure you a spot. The $2 fee will be worth it! I'm glad of the experience. I now know what to expect should I ever find myself up in here again for any reason.

I attended Woodz's world tour concert LA stop here. This was my first time at this venue, and I could only assume this was more of a theater (as in for musicals/plays) than a concert venue. The outdoor area in front of the actual building was beautiful with all of the holiday lights. They also had little heaters scattered around which were being well-used before doors opened. In the outdoor area they had picnic tables, a live dj, and food trucks. The food truck prices were overpriced, but the only food option inside were pretzels, popcorn, and chips. They opened doors on-time and the staff seemed to very well aware of what was going on event-wise and was able to well control the crowd. Inside, it looked like any seat was a good seat. I was seated in the very first row. For a concert, where everyone is standing, this is obviously an excellent seat. If this were for anything else, as in a show where you'd be sitting, I'd want to be seated at least 2-3 rows further back as the stage was somewhat tall from a sitting view. You'd definitely be looking up a little.

The Service: So many staffs in this theater, at every entrance, near the lounge, in front of theater doors. They are always there to assist. Very friendly staffs as well. The Theater: 3 floors theater. Very well maintained. Great sound system. 3 bar/concession counters. They do have security check in front of the theater entrance. No outside food or drinks. Limited seating area in the lobby. The Parking: $15 cash/credit card at their parking structure. Unfortunately, there are no street parking available.

This is the least patron friendly venue you can imagine. They forced the audience to walk around the building for crowd control, which might be ok if it weren't in the middle of a thunderstorm storm. But today it was pouring outside and there was no consideration for the guests who were forced to go through a labyrinth, in the rain, to get inside. Thanks. I am sure I will enjoy my experience sitting in wet clothes next to other people who also are dripping wet.

I came to see Ringo in concert with his All Star Band. Seats are comfortable with a good view of the stage. Unfortunately the man in front of me was tall and was standing most of the time. The concession stands sold alcoholic drinks, coke, water, pretzels, and popcorn.

Came here to see Chelsea Handler. The parking garage is $15. It's expensive but at least it's a convenient place to park. It's super close to the venue. There's a lot of parking spots and the spots are pretty big. I also liked how easy it was to exit the parking garage. We were able to get through security fast. They even directed us towards shorter lines. There were food trucks outside and a couple of bars. Inside, there are also lots of bars so you don't have to wait in a giant line. You can look for one with a shorter line. The theater is a little hard to navigate but luckily the security was helpful. The theater is very big. There's 2 balconies. I recommend splurging the money to sit anywhere in the Orchestra section. Overall, the theater was decent. I wouldn't be able to tell you if the acoustics are good since I just saw a comedy show but don't let this venue deter you from an event.

Came here for Ali Wong's comedy show and it's such a beautiful venue! Outside had cute water fountains that lit up at night, security was a breeze, inside was clean and everything looked new. And location's super convenient to the pike and waterfront (easy walking distance)

We attended Jo Koy's 'Funny is Funny' tour on the Wed before Thanksgiving. It was the first of four performances that he is scheduled to give, and we really had a good time. Jo Koy mentioned to that Long Beach Audience that he first got to know about the Long Beach Terrace Theater from watching Richard Pryor concert Live file that was recorded here. It was filmed in 1978, and I just looked up that the theater was completed in 1978 (which would make it almost 45 years old). The theater itself doesn't look like it is 45 years old...it obviously has been refreshed since then. The main entrance on Ocean Blvd is really well decorated with holiday decorations...providing plenty of family photo opportunities. The city Christmas Tree is located in front, and there was 3 different food trucks providing dinner for folks who came early. Inside, there is a large open atrium. Not once did we feel too crowded or squished. There is no center aisle in the main floor of the theater, so no easy way to get to the middle center seats without going through a lot of people (in fact, this observation drove quite a bit of Jo's audience participation act in the beginning). We were seated in the balcony (cheap seats), and the acoustics were not great (had a difficult time in some places clearly understanding what was being said). There was a video screen in the back of him, and we were hoping that there would be a live close-up feed, so we could see his facial expressions...but it didn't work that way. It just displayed his symbol throughout the duration of his concert. Wondering if that was just a limitation of a 45 year old theater.

Came here to see Paw Patrol Live! Getting into the parking structure was a bit of a nightmare, but they also had an event going on at the Convention Center so that may have backed things up. The passenger and kid had to get out down the street and walk to the theater to make the show on time. The seating is pretty good anywhere you sit, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. They needed more concession stands or maybe more workers. To get our popcorn we waited in line for about 45 min (not during intermission time), so we missed a good chunk of the show. Popcorn and a lemonade was $35.

Great venue size. Love how you can purchase food and drinks both inside and outside the venue. Long restroom lines though

it is unfortunate that needed facilities were out of order on Symphony performance night. Hopefully it is an infrequent occurrence. I've not encountered this before.

Went here to see Swan Lake which was fantastic! The reason for my rating, though, is for the venue itself. I think they need to be much more strict about late patrons. About 30-50 minutes into the ballet, people were still walking in. It takes you out of the performance when you have folks walking in front you, in multiple rows. Handful of times just people getting up and heading back in. Idk what the policy is at this place but needs to be stricter. I don't get it, you paid for the tickets, show up early? If you know there's traffic, maybe plan ahead? Zero theater etiquette. Most places I've been to, the doors remain closed until intermission. If folks need to leave, they're not allowed back in until the break. This needs to be enforced. They're really lax on phone usage, too. Too many folks just whipping their phones out recording the performance or taking photos with zero care to people around them or behind them just trying to watch the ballet. It's distracting. One lady was just recording the entire ballet on their phone...like?? The show is in front of you?? What distraction do you need? The show is literally in front of you? Train your ushers, enforce whatever policy you have, idk do something.

Great ambience, great vibe outside to take pics, easy parking, excellent sound. Perfect for date night, especially if you and the spouse have been going through a dry spell ;) as the atmosphere is very fun and romantic. Perfect to rev up the relationship!

Staff is friendly, theater is clean, facilities are clean, drinks and snack are fricken expensive. bought 7 pretzels, 4 Modelo's, 3 premiums = $190.

Came here yesterday for the Chelsea Handler: Vaccinated and Horny tour. It was easy to find the place on Google Maps. The parking garage had plenty of space. The parking attendant was nice and helpful. We parked on the second floor which was ideal because it took us right to the staircase to go up to the theater. It's $15 for parking. Apparently you can also park by meter because it's free at or after 9pm but we just paid for convenience and lack of knowledge at the time. Caught a glimpse of the Pacific Ballroom which was beautiful on the outside. Blue and purple mood lights inside with the fixtures on the ceiling. The lobby and the steps are nice. Felt like I was in a proper theater. The seats were comfy at first but then by the midpoint of the show I was squirming trying to get comfortable. Felt like the back of the chair was stiff and hard on my back. Good to experience a show in person again. Didn't miss being clumped together with a horde of people though.

I've run, walked or driven past the Terrace Theather many, many times and always thought it looked like a cool venue. After 18 years of living in Long Beach, I finally paid a visit! After a lovely dinner at Solita, a friend and I walked down Ocean Blvd. to the theater. Entering the venue / through security and getting seated were easy peasy; we even had time to grab a cheeky cocktail to enjoy in our seats. Fair warning, the show beverages are pricey! I wanted to hit the bathroom before sitting down and as usual, the women's line was very long. There was a bathroom attendant who identified empty stalls which helped the line move quickly and wasn't something I'd ever seen in a women's bathroom before. We found our seats without incident and chatted whilst waiting for comedian Trey Kennedy to take us to laugh town. We sat in row 9, orchestra level and it was perfection. The seats were comfortable, but I could've used just a smidge more leg room. The exit rush was as expected (lots of people trying to leave a venue), but not bad at all. We ended the evening with a nighttime walk through the Pike area back to where we'd parked in the Aquarium of the Pacific parking structure. I can't wait for my next (comedy? music? TBD!) show at the Long Beach Terrace Theater!

This was my first time at this venue! The parking was on point and it's easy to find! The old school feel makes it welcoming! It's clean and has good seating! All seats are good to see the stage! The restrooms are clean . I can't wait to return to see another performance! I really like the set up inside and out! They have a few sofas to lounge on and comfy chairs. The have taco Tricia set up outside if your hungry! I got to go to te inside drink vendors and the line ms were minimal. The big screens inside to help you get a closer look at the stage helps too! I just really liked the vibe of this theatre!! Enjoy !! I'll be back!

After a sumptuous meal at Cafe Sevilla, I walked to the Terrace Theater to watch the Nutcracker performed by the Long Beach Ballet and Orchestra. There were many holiday decorations in front of the Terrace Theater to create a festive holiday mood, including bright light rings in the shape of a snow tunnel, colorful dancing water sprouts in the fountain in front, tall Christmas trees, Christmas ornaments, reindeers, snowflakes, snowballs and Santa hats. This LB Ballet Nutcracker is a large production with many beautiful costumes, scenery designs and lavish choreography. The stage designs included a real horse pulling a sleigh, loud canons, dancing acrobats, fireworks, flying angels and of course, the many swirling ballet performers and dancers. The stage lighting created all the right moods and synchronized well with the music and dancing. The LB Ballet Orchestra played brilliantly and the entire performance was magnificent. My favorite scenes were the Flying Angels, Sugarplum Fairy and the Waltz of the Flowers. There were many talented children on stage and they provided many charming performances which the sold out crowd throughly enjoyed. The Terrace Theater was the perfect winter wonderland venue for the Nutcracker. My view was intermittently obscured by late seatings, but the music, ballet, and performances were worth it. Garage parking is available.

Concert was nice . Cocktails and food trash and expensive. One can$3 modelo beer was $18 . Price gouging y'all need to be ashamed

Still waiting for the 2 pm Nutcracker to start and it's 2:21! Wish they hadn't said 2 pm. Show started late. Return from intermission has been late. They said 5 minutes 10 minutes ago. Show itself is quite good though they use a lot of explosions and pyrotechnics which can be very surprising. Show is good. The way the venue runs is only good for people who like to run late.

This is a review for the Long Beach Inauguration that happened at this theater. Plus, the whole point of this event was for the Inauguration for the mayor and council members. Wow! What an event! The outside part of the theater was nicely done. There was free food from food trucks and pizza spots. Also, free drinks which is awesome! Music was on point with playing those old but classy jams. The set up was beautiful, it gave me a beachy feel. The sofas were by a bonfire pit and the water fountain had its color changing whenever it increases. The inside of the theater was used to sit down, if the outside area got to hot. Parking was a breeze. It was really close to the theater. For people that can't walk up the stairs, there is a elevator near by to get to the top.

This is a cool place, but be advised that the rows are 88 seats long with no center divider, so be wary of which seat you choose.

Terrence theater located in Long Beach right off the Ocean Boulevard downtown Long Beach church here is a skit theater to see concerts or see shows they have indoor plenty of parking it's really effective you can check them out they are located in Long Beach right off of Long Beach Boulevard Ave., Ocean Boulevard pretty good it's right next to the aquarium could be the queen Mary and Long Beach marina I brought my son Sasha with me is by the Grand Prix one day then he went with me and my wife for a concert to watch a comedian. Did you have a lot of use of it? It's easy for me I like that I am from Long Beach so I support my city I was definitely it was a good experience. My wife has not been there before so I got to take her there and she got to see it. They do have orchestras and everything else, I recommend it if you want to go see a nice kid concert and it's at the Long Beach Area you're gonna be very have you have a ball check them out

Wanted to give a shout out to Dana at the box office; due to poor planning I thought I had purchased tickets for an 8pm show but it turned out to be the 5pm, and we show up at 6pm. The show is sold out, but rather than telling us too bad so sad she said hold on until the show, if we have any no shows I'll let you know. Sure enough as the doors are about to open she calls me over and says I'm in luck. Thank you Dana for stellar customer service, you made our night!!!

This is a beautiful theater. Very close tot the water in Long Beach. The seats have r decent amount of room. Aesthetically, it is a beautiful venue. Parking and Uber are very easy.

Living in Cerritos & being accustomed to performances at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts, not to mention frequenting the Segerstrom & Ahmanson in OC & LA, respectively, I guess I'm a little spoiled when it comes to theatres. Coming to the Long Beach Terrace Theater for the first time for Shen Yun, I felt disappointed with this little old theater. Why? The bathrooms! Only 1 for each gender, men & women. During intermission, the lines formed an X, with some theatregoers, either knowingly or unknowingly, cutting in line. Plus, the lines at the concessions increased the congestion amongst the mass of humanity either wanting to ingest liquid or relieve it. More bathrooms, please! In addition, we had primo seats in the middle of the 5th row. Our view of the dancers and conductor of the orchestra was spot on. However, the audio wasn't as loud as I expected it should. It seemed "distant", even though we were very close in the 5th row. On the more positive side, seating had a good amount of leg room. Also, parking was easy to find & the security working the metal detectors were friendly as we passed through. Long Beach Terrace Theatre, I'm afraid you won't be seeing me patronizing any scheduled event, again. There seriously needs to be more restrooms for the amount of theatregoers, and on different floors. The audio output should also be addressed. I don't recommend attending a show here.

This was my first time visiting this theater to see Shen Yun, which is near the LB Convention Center. Parking was super easy to find and getting to the theater from the parking structure was just as easy. I probably will only go back if I'm for sure not using the bathroom! For the entire theater, there is only ONE bathroom for both the women and men! And in the women's bathroom there were only about 10 - 15 stalls! The line was so long during the intermission that it snaked upstairs to the back wall! No way! Other than that, the place is not too big, clean, and the seats are comfortable. I would come back if there was a show I really wanted to see and I didn't have an option for another theater! Other than that, I don't think I'll come back to this one.

An absolutely gorgeous venue. Had the opportunity to go see comedian Ali Wong here and the acoustics are amazing and the water show outside the theater was pretty spectacular with incredible lighting.

Came here on 4/16/2019 to watch Paw Patrol show and was able to find parking on the street instead paying $15 for their lot. Street parking was $1.50 per hour and I stayed 2 hours, so it worked out nicely. The walk from the street to the theater was not that far either. The seats we had in orchestra worked out nicely; we could see everything and sound was good too. They have security metal detectors before you come inside and bag check. Strollers were parked outside the door.

A MUST DO! 4 & 1/2 Stars Goldstar had Discount Tickets for The Forever Oldies Concert. When we got to the venue, it was completely Sold Out. The Concert was Dedicated to the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin. A night of R&B Soul & a little dancing too. The Masqueraders started out the night with a few of their radio hits. Then The Originals got people dancing with their Disco Classic Down to Love Town & then their Soul Classic The Bells & Baby I'm for Real. The Persuaders we're up next with their soul version of The Carpenters Classic Superstar (Don't You Remember). They performed a few other tunes including their Signature Song There's aThin Line Between Love & Hate. Then the Delfonics started their set with their early Disco Classic I Told You So. the Soul classic Break Your Promise, Hey Love. They sang their Sing-A-Long Classic La La La Means I Love You, & their 1970 Smoker Didn't I Blow Your Mind. They had the whole audience singing along. Then Malo sang a few of their hits including Suavacito (I Never Met A Girl Like You in My Life). Rose Royce took the stage next with Ooh Boy, Wishing on a Star, I Wanna Get Next to You, This is How We Do It, & their #1 Pop & Disco Smash Car Wash. The DJ was spinning some Old School R&B & Disco & Dance Classics in between sets. Then Barbara Mason Hit the Stage with You Never Loved Me At All. She told everyone that Aretha was her mentor. She told about how she met Aretha who came to Barbara's dressing room & told her in 1978 there's room for one more. Then she sang I Do Love You Then the whole audience sang Happy Birthday to Barbara. Then Barbara performed the Agony & The Ecstasy, & sang a few more of her hits including From This Woman to You, Sad Sad Girl, Oh How It Hurts & of course her Signature Song Yes I'm Ready. There were Lots of people singing along & Groovin' to some Great Old School Tunes all night long. It used to be, you had to have mega bucks & be really rich to have the Good Life, not anymore. The Game has changed. You've been Upgraded. Now You Can Live Like a King on a Limited Budget!

Such a great small venue to see a performance and worth the drive to have to have better seating than other theaters. We brought our son to see Paw Patrol live - Paw to the Rescue ( the bar is not open that early) It is easily located on the main street and we go lucky enough to find metered parking in front of the theater. There is the sweetest little outdoor patio/ grass area before you enter to relax or come out for some fresh air during intermission. The staff was very welcoming and escorted us to our Orchestra seating, which now knowing how small the venue is. I could have purchased further back and my son would have still seen the show just as well. Overall a good family experience and I will now choose this venue over something similar as the Microsoft in LA Live.

Tbh kinda reminded me of a lecture hall and gave me PTSD. I parked at the meter a block away instead of paying $15 for garage parking. Meters are free after 9pm btw. I saw John Mulaney's last show of 2021 here and it was very well delivered but since it was exclusively about his drug addiction and rehab experience it did trigger me and made me go down a depressive spiral for the rest of the weekend. But that says more about me than the venue. Just thought I'd share xx

Unbelievable 1 restroom for ladies and having lines crossing with drinks. What a mess! No programs and i paid $80' a ticket! Very disappointed for my first ballet and last. Dancers were not even impressive

Growing up playing the violin for 5 years I've always appreciated classical and orchestral music. Fast forwarding, I couldn't have been more thrilled when my son auditioned with the HS LBUSD All District Orchestra and was chosen to play alongside with the Long Beach Symphony. After many hours of after school practice and commitment, the students were privileged to play at the Terrace Theater at the LB Convention Center. The staff were on point, were very nice and escorted the audience efficiently. The theater is very clean, very nice and well maintained. There's nothing high tech about the theater. It's slightly outdated in decor, but has a sense of uniqueness. Parking is located in the garage just below the theater; very convenient. Parking was free for us, but I'm sure there's a fee for various events. Really enjoyed every moment of the concert and ambiance of the theater. Great performance!

The design of the Theater is very nice, the sound system needs upgraded, saw Shen Yun and it was very difficult to understand much explaniation of each of the dances by the host and hostess, and it had nothing to do with language, they spoke perfect english, the sound system was just bad. The sound from the orchastra was fine however. If you get seats to a show here avoid Sections 1 and 6 of the balcony as they are too far off to the sides to enjoy the whole show. Parking is reasonable for the area, it takes some time to get out of the parking garages and clear of the traffic but that is normal for this area.

My for time here at Terrace Theatre, it's a nice intimate theater. The seats are pretty comfy, ample space in the rows if someone needs to find their seats. I have one complaint is that not sure who designed the theater, my opinion is that it should have been a split down the middle the aisle is so long to get to the middle for a seat. The play I had the pleasure of seeing was (Redemption of a Dogg) staring SnoopDogg the show was fantastic

Went and saw the Long Beach Ballot perform the Nutcracker. This is a very CLEAN theater and the ever seat is a good one. They really need to do something about the women's restrooms or lack of. I feel really sorry for them. During intermission the line for the ladies room is a mile long. Intermission has to be 30 mins so the ladies can all get through the line. Other then that it is an AMAZING theater and the Long Beach Ballot did excellent job.

I have to say visiting this beautiful place was one of the best experiences I have ever had . On the way to the Terrace , my friends and I were lost getting there and a kind security guard named Monica stayed on the phone with me literally until we got to the event . My friend who was driving would never have found Terrace Theater without her ! I got cheap tickets to hear a wonderful speaker there , and then later I find out that our tickets had been upgraded to orchestra seats ! We even got to meet our speaker , a famous scientist , Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson , and we got to meet him and have our picture taken with him . His lecture was amazing and he is awesome to meet too ! Everyone there was so friendly from security to the ushers to the star of the show ! Thank you to the staff at Terrace Theater in Long Beach !

The boyfriend surprised me with tickets to Bill Burr. He had managed to score first row seats, center stage. Once we got there, we discovered that there were rows A-C in front of us. The seats were still unbelievably close. It was the closest we had ever sat to see him, in a theatre setting. The venue is nice. The outdoor courtyard was reminiscent of Ahmanson in DTLA with the water fountain and chairs for dining. There were a couple food trucks, none I had ever heard of. The theatre is clean, a good size, with great sound. The decor is a little dated. Think downtown Las Vegas with an 80's Miami vibe. Still, the seats were very comfortable and there was an ample amount of leg room. Overall, I was very impressed. Burr was going on and on on his podcast about how huge it was for him to play the historic Terrace since it was where Richard Pryor had filmed his first comedy special. I think he tried channeling Pryor's energy with his comically retro suit. It was the third time we had seen him in two months. Seems excessive, but we cannot get enough of Ol' Billy Freckles. He always puts on a show. Dean Delray, the jack of all trades mustachioed biker, was his host and opening act. Not to compare him to another comic, but he has this lovely Chris Farley quality. Not so much in humor, just in presence. Getting to the location was a painless 45 minutes on the 710 on a Saturday afternoon with mild traffic. The theatre is centrally located in downtown Long Beach. We parked at the garage at the Outlets and walked to dinner, then to the venue. Parking for 4.5 hours was $15. The bathrooms were immaculately clean and there was an attendant who did an excellent job expediting the line.
