Terralta Apartments

Just back from a three night break with my daughter. We chose this hotel, for its pool & its distance from the strip and its proximity to the old town. It’s about an 8-10 min walk to beach. It is down hill, but we managed it up & down just fine, without the use of a taxi, though there is plenty around & very cheap. |The pool is lovely & as it’s surrounded by a low rise building, you don’t get the high rise shade. There isn’t many parasols, but at the back nr the bar there is plenty of covered sunbeds. They do say, to not save your beds, but people do, so if you want one in the shade, you need to be up early on some days. |We were B&B, but only had breakfast once, it didn’t blow us away, but ok for a morning fill up. |The rooms are massive & clean, with everything you would need to cook a meal if you wanted. There is an onsite shop, that sells ice & drinks, as well as food & swimming accessories, all very reasonably priced, shuts at 5pm.|Bar is also well stocked, with all the drinks, ice creams & hot food |We didn’t go to the entrainment in the evenings, so can’t comment , we walked down the hill & were in the sea till after 8pm, it was so warm & the beach was still really busy. We then walked around the shops & got some food out. Lots of choice & all reasonably priced.|The staff were all super friendly & helpful. We couldn’t get a late checkout, but there is two courtesy showers & they give you towels. |We would definitely recommend & will return.

A fantastic complex for all ages. Upon arrival, we were greeted by very welcoming and friendly staff. Check in was quick with zero issues. We had room 1105 which had a pool view. We didn’t book this so it was a pleasant surprise! ||The pool area is fantastic, although they close at 6pm during low season which I felt was a little to early for us. ||Games room equally great - although we had no kids, the adults enjoyed it just as much! ||Rooms are basic but spacious with all you need. Additional storage would have been beneficial as we had an apartment for 3 people, but only one wardrobe space. ||The bar area was good. We only had lunch there once, but it was lovely. The only main fault would be the beer - the draught beer was very flat so we just stuck to bottles. ||All in all, a great place which I would highly recommend.

We had a great time at Terralta. |Check in was very quick & efficient. Safe & pool towels can be rented cheaply.||Apartment- room large & v clean , great big shower with large balcony. Would recommend pool view.||Food & drink - only ate at lunchtime in bar , generous portions & reasonably priced. Selection of ice lollies , slushies in both pool bar & main bar. Heineken €3.70, Amstel €3, small soft drinks €2, large drinks & slushies €3.||Pool - shaded canopy area with rows of loungers as well as umbrellas around the pool . Gates opened just before 10am , music playing throughout the day. ||We were aware that it was situated in a residential area away from the main bars/ restaurants/ beach , a lovely walk down & taxis about €6-8 back up again. ||A mixture of families & couples during our stay. ||Would definitely stay again

Great stay yet again at Terralta ! Got home today and booked for next year , we had room 1205 so just above the park , wouldn't recommend that room for anyone with a baby as the kids are noisy til very late , the mini market was only open til 5 but from today it's 6pm I think , it's a great wee shop and very handy as the Terralta is a bit out the way ,would be great if it was open later though and the same for the outdoor and take away food , shuts far too early ! We went to a Chinese buffet called 'new wok' it cost 15 euro in taxi and 17 euro pp but worth every penny , so much choice and a chef cooking to order , I would highly recommend this hotel to families or couples! if you are looking for a crazy , wild , benidorm experience it wouldn't suit , x

We have stayed here 4 times now and have booked our second time staying at christmas, the staff are absolutely amazing! The facilities for children are brilliant, entertainment, arcades, slides and an indoor heated pool if you travel in the colder months. It basically caters for all. The food is amazing, drinks prices really reasonable. It also has a little supermarket on site to get your essentials. Apartments are so clean, the whole complex is spotless, really spacious rooms and gorgeous views over the pool (you have to pay a little extra for it) but worth it. Absolutely amazing place to stay and cannot wait to be back again!

Just returned from a weeks holiday at Terralta hotel with another family. 11 in our group in total, adults, teenagers & 7 year old. We had 2 x 2 bedroom apartments. Everyone had a fabulous stay. We went half board, food choice was great, plenty choice for everyone. It is our fourth year returning. The pool is fabulous & entertainment very good. Kids club from 3.30-5pm daily. Something for everyone. |The only negative is double bed were very hard in main bedroom. |We will definitely return again.

We have just returned from a long weekend, staying at Terralta. All the staff from reception to lifeguards were pleasant and helpful, check in was fast and our room was ready early. We had a couple of issues with the battery in the safe which the maintenance man attended to promptly, nothing was too much trouble. Food is basic but plentiful and we could always find something to fill us up for breakfast and dinner. The hotel is situated on a hill, 10 minutes downhill walk to the old town, we walked down and got a taxi back with varying prices from 6-8 euros. The beaches at this end are beautiful and there are plenty of lovely restaurants and bars to choose from. We walked up to the new end of town, it took about 40 minutes but the promenade walk is lovely. A great little base to explore Benidorm all in all.

OK, I want to give my first impressions since getting here. Arrived yesterday late afternoon so at this point I have had an evening meal and a breakfast. I am staying on a half board plus basis. Lady at reception really friendly and welcoming. Apartment spacious and spotlessly clean. Good WiFi signal. Wardrobe space a bit limited, especially if there are more than two of you. The restaurant has a nice, fresh feel to it. Staff are friendly and professional. Presentation of, and food choice, were very good. Importantly, for me, it all tasted great. If the rest of my stay I like this, which I'm sure it will be, it will be a very enjoyable stay.
