Terrammare

Simply amazing . From the moment you walk in all is perfect until the moment you leave. A warm welcome, seating which isn’t too close to other tables. Interior, lighting and acoustic which is right. Friendly and professional service. Interesting and balanced menu and wine list. Good bread (not common in Italy), wine by the glass could be chosen from the whole wine list (don’t take my word for it). Dishes were served well timed, beautifully presented and very tasteful. All in a wonderful experience.

We dine at Terramare restaurant, and I have to say that we were all pretty satisfied with our experience. The service was top-notch, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. In fact, they were so friendly that they went out of their way to read the entire menu with us and translate everything we didn't understand from Italian to English, which was really helpful. We highly recommend giving Terramare a try and not paying too much attention to any negative reviews - the staff truly went above and beyond to make our dining experience a great one. The food was pretty tasty with cool flavors that we all enjoyed. We also tried a recommended Sicilian white wine that was really good. While the prices were higher than other restaurants of the same quality in the Michelin Guide, we still felt that it was worth it. The quality of the ingredients used and the expertise of the chefs were definitely reflected.

Booked expecting more than what we experienced. While the decor and service met expectations, the food fell short for the price point. The dishes were impeccably plated and looked absolutely delicious. However, they lacked flavor and finesse overall. We were charged 8 euro for just sitting in a half empty restaurant which was off putting and surprising, as we hadn’t experienced this in even Michelin star restaurants. Overall wouldn’t recommend and they could do with some adjustments.

Spectacular Chef and food and wine list. Started with the best arancia I have ever had, a mini one. The fresh crudo seafood plater was worth the price. Best raw langosteen I have had ever. Good value platter. Her bread was delicious and we used a lot of it for scarpetta the plates clean. Pasta and zuppa cooked so perfectly. Wife told me she could tell it was a female chef before we went to the kitchen to say goodbye. She was right!?!?

Had the Sicilian tasting menu and enjoyed it. The strengths of the tastes increased over the evolution of dishes - would probably have nevertheless added salt if there was any at the table. Very friendly service and nice wines by the glass

Excellent Sicilian dishes, nice and quiet atmosphere, friendly staff. Choices on the menu are a bit pricey, however one can tell that the ingredients are of high quality so all in all it’s worth the spending. We had a lovely evening and will definitely be back.

5 stars earned for service and supreme food as well as a well decorated place. We had fresh sea food, we loved it. They have furthermore a well selected winelist. We have finally choosen a Chardonnay..Kitchen is from Sicily.

Tried the terramare tasting meny, good value, good quality food and service, beautiful restaurant. Dishes came out maybe a little too quick, and a little too much seafood, the dish with the raw shrimps would have been delicious if it was cooked, it was just a little too unpleasant to eat raw.
