Terrantai Lodge Hotel

We spent four nights at Terrantai and absolutely loved our stay. All of the staff were incredibly diligent and welcoming. Special shout-out to Frank at front of house and the manager, Franklin, who made us feel very welcome. The hotel offers so many special extras that create a really warm atmosphere including the nightly wine and cheese as well as daily snacks and afternoon tea. The breakfast was also delicious with eggs made to order and a different local delicacy to try every day. A truly amazing service is that a small breakfast buffet is available from 4am every day, for those going on early morning tours. I would not hesitate to recommend Terrantai Lodge for anyone visiting San Pedro!

One of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had! The manager Franklin is so nice and gave us a tour of the hotel when we arrived and remembered us the whole time we were there. The pool was so nice after a hot day exploring the desert. The best part is they have daily snack, tea, and wine times which are sooo nice. They also gave us a reusable bag and water bottle when we arrived which we used on all our tours! Breakfast every morning was also fantastic with specialty foods from the area to try. Best place to stay in Atacama!

This is a very nice hotel, with a lot of authentic features. The construction and design are very lovely. It was rather quiet while we were there, but in a peak season, I wonder if it would feel too crowded. The room was nicely furnished, the bathroom was functional, with good water pressure, a rain shower, but the bathroom is very tiny. Staff was courteous, but not as friendly and helpful as in the other 3 hotels where we stayed.

This property is great and makes you feel really welcomed. We were greeted by Christian, he explained everything we needed to know about the hotel, the town and things to do. In addition, they provide a wine tasting daily where you can actually sit and make some new friends. We met another couple from the U.S. and a family / group from Australia and were able to exchange experiences and tips. It felt very welcoming. Franklin, the manager was great at making sure conversation kept flowing and we all felt comfortable. ||I will stay here again and would recommend it.

Beautiful hotel and a small serene oasis. We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights in one of the garden rooms. The rooms are impeccable, very clean and nicely decorated and roomy enough for 2 travelers. The bathrooms are great and all amenities are provided. The staff is very friendly and made us immediately feel at home. Being a small and owner managed hotel, they provide lots of attention to detail and strive to make everyone‘s stay perfect. During the day there are snacks and tea/coffee provided and in the evening there is a wine tasting every day. This brings the hotel guests together and share experiences and stories - like good friends. The hotel is very centrally located next to the pedestrian area with lots of restaurants, shops and travel companies but it is still very quiet once inside. I highly recommend the hotel.

Absolutely perfect hotel and stay! All the staff was so friendly, attentive and professional the same time! Everydays snack, tea and wine times (complimentary) make the stay even vetter and is a really nice opportunity to meet new people or just talk about the awesome trips and sightseeing in San Pedro. I completely recommed to this hotel and would definitely choose it again when I come back! An additional surplus, the pool is heated, so perfect for a swim also in colder days! Thanks to the full team, and especially to Frank, Aaron and Franklin in making our stay so perfect!

Fantastic staff led by the manager Franklin who went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. It is clean, quiet, and comfortable. Centrally located. Please note that there is no restaurant, laundry service, or dressers. If you need fancy hotel amenities this may not be the place for you, but we enjoyed it very much. It does have very nice common areas to lounge in and the snacks are wonderful. Nightly wine and cheese allowed us to meet fellow guests which felt communal and welcoming.

Great location right in town but still very quiet. Lacks major hotel amenities like a spa or restaurant but makes up for it with charming wine tastings and tea sessions. Great places to read around the hotel. Rooms are small but nice. I|Delicious breakfast and super helpful staff particularly the manager Franklin. I wouldn’t book anything through the hotel as it’s far cheaper in town. It doesn’t matter which agency you use for tours they are all the same.
