My stay here was outstanding! 10/10. I would absolutely stay here again if I am lucky enough to visit the Atacama Desert again. First the hotel is very charming, in the perfect location and just the right size. As many reviewers point out, they have a great breakfast and basically various snacks and offerings all through the day/evening. The rooms are great and the bed is so comfortable. Lastly but most important, everyone is so very welcoming and helpful. I was self driving and the manager was so great at answering my questions. (Also the secure parking is super convenient - I would not want to self drive and have to find parking on my own!) I really can't imagine you'd be disappointed staying here!

A beautiful hotel in a great location. It is in the centre of the activity in San Pedro with lots of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance.
The hotel itself is well presented and has a lovely pool and relaxing area with teas and snacks to enjoy. Also they had a free wine tasting session every evening which was a very nice thing to do.
The rooms were lovely and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.
I would highly recommend this hotel when staying in San Pedro.

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved every minute of it. Staying at Hotel Terrantai was like staying at someone's home. The staff was amazingly helpful and warm. They spoke English and advised us on places to visit around San Pedro. We were so impressed by the almost non-stop complimentary food and beverages available - great buffet breakfasts, then snacks from 12:00-4:00pm, then tea from from 4:00pm-6:00pm and wine tastings until 8:30pm. The location was fantastic, being in the heart of San Pedro de Atacama and having accessibility to restaurants, shopping, and tour agencies. Finally, the rooms were delightful - the decor was charming and the beds so comfortable. Highly recommend!

This hotel was simply excellent and staffed by a wonderful friendly team led by Franklin. ||It is situated in the heart of downtown San Pedro, so extremely convenient for restaurants, travel agents, tourist shops/markets etc.||Inside the rooms are lovely and there are many shared spaces that are great to chill out in and relax.||They pride themselves on doing something called Ayni, which means “giving back”. What this translates to is them offering Tambo snacks at lunchtime, Tea time (including home made biscuits) later and Wine tasting complete with cheese and other snacks in the evening. All for free.||After leaving for a trip to Bolivia and returning to a different San Pedro hotel that our tour operator had booked us into ☹️ we popped in to say hi to Franklin and the team and were immediately invited in for wine tasting and a chat.||A wonderful stay, thanks to everyone in the team.

We had a wonderful, warm and welcoming stay at Terrantai lodge in San Pedro de Atacama. Franklin and his team did an excellent job of accommodating our needs, and providing excellent service. We loved that the hotel offered free snacks, tea service, wine tastings and other opportunities to connect and relax in between the many hikes and excursions we experienced during our vacation.

Very nice base to explore. I spent three nights here this month. Breakfast was lovely and the courtyard treats were a nice touch, though I was out exploring for most of the time so they did not make a difference.
Secure building, *beautiful* interior design and nice music. Very quiet and safe overnight. Breakfast room staff were lovely. Bed was huge and shower was amazing. Heaps of wall hooks and good lighting and nice keyrings.
The pool was covered up during my stay.
I would not call this amazing value as the offering was not too different from the two other venues where my friends were staying (and they could preorder breakfast packs). But for a splurge, yes.
Many desert tours depart very early before dawn and breakfast is from seven so it would have been nice to not miss out on the inclusion and have a real system where you could order breakfast and keep the package overnight in a room fridge. I tried to communicate a little about hoping for fruit for the day but my communication was not that good. Therefore, a room fridge would have helped.
Also the room was a little stuffy even with fans going and temps of 10d and the window didn’t stay open, just flapped down so I just left the door open while I was getting ready. Didn’t change my stay but glad it was cold outside at night.
