It was our last night in Santa Monica after a two month stay. We chose this restaurant for our last night out. It was perfect!! So romantic with a window view of the sunset. The food was delicious. But what made the night so special was our waiter Eric. He was wonderful! He was knowledgeable about the menu, he took time to engage with us and made a special night even better. Definitely check out this restaurant for a special occasion (it is kinda pricey) it is an experience and totally worth the expense. Ask for Eric.

If you’re looking for a place that perfectly blends a coastal vibe with upscale dining, and service, Terrazza at Santa Monica delivers on all fronts. The steak was a highlight, perfectly seared with a rich, flavorful crust and tender, juicy center. Their cocktail menu is creative yet refined. I had a mezcal-based drink with a smoky finish that paired really well with the steak. The real showstopper is the view. Terrazza overlooks the Santa Monica coastline, and whether you’re there for sunset or under the evening lights, the atmosphere is unbeatable.

Beautiful old hotel built in 1926! The restaurant had charming decor and a beautiful view overlooking the boardwalk and Santa Monica beach! Prices were very reasonable! We will definitely return even though we live in Huntington Beach!

The interior design and ambiance were spectacular, setting the tone for a memorable dining experience. We ordered the Mexican Mochatini, Wild Alaskan Halibut, and Sunday Roast. The cocktail was delicious, and the halibut was absolutely wonderful—everything on the plate complemented the fish perfectly. However, the steak fell short of our expectations as it lacked flavor. Our waiter was very kind and offered to remove the steak from our bill, which we truly appreciated. Great service and a good visit despite the steak.

Super chill and great views of the ocean. Wonderful bartenders if you sit at the cosy bar. Highly recommend as a start or end to an evening in Santa Monica! Even if you are not staying at the beautiful hotel it is inside of!

⸻ I made a dinner reservation for a group of 12. Since large party reservations couldn’t be made through Resy, I had to contact the restaurant via email or phone. I emailed first but didn’t receive a response, so I followed up with a phone call. Later, there was a change in the number of guests, and I tried to update the reservation, but it took a long time to hear back, which was frustrating. The meal and service on the day were both excellent, but the reservation system for large groups definitely needs improvement.

Google
Restaurant is located inside the Casa del mar hotel, has a nice view with big windows facing the beach and pier. Server was very friendly and kind. I went as a walk in and had some wine and appetizers. Will recommend to anyone who wants to have a drink with a nice view!

Google
Incredible place to have a delicious breakfast in a peaceful setting with an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean. We walked in at about 10:30am on a Saturday with no reservation and got a table at the window with no issue. The service was fantastic, attentive and kind. We received a complimentary freshly made watermelon juice which was a nice touch. The food was all fresh and delicious. We had the breakfast burrito, chia pudding, waffle, and avocado “toast”. The atmosphere was so relaxing and quiet, and the view was just amazing even with it being a rainy day.

Yelp
We walked into the hotel Casa Del Mar and it felt like we were in a resort in Mexico. This place is very nice and immaculately decorated. From the moment we walked up the staff was kind and full of smiles. We were helped quickly and had a ton of great options. My granola and berries were delish and my hubs left NO crumbs of his Benedict. We will be back!!

Yelp
Terrazza is an upscale, classy Spanish/Italian restaurant located in the Hotel Casa Del Mar offering great food and phenomenal service at an elevated price tag. Our family came on a Saturday evening. We started with the bread platter, which was exceptional, offering soft, salted butter, a molasses-garlic butter, and a light, exceptionally flaky and soft bread ($14) which was the strongest entry of the evening. We shared next the Whole Lubina for two ($95), a decent Spanish Branzino split into two generous filets, which was light, flaky, appropriately deboned, and with a hint of lemon. We got a side of asparagus which was good, and perfectly roasted. Our children got the kids' bolognese pasta, which was mediocre, chicken fingers which were definitely not home-made and fries, which were excellent. We finished with the Basque cheesecake ($15) which was rich and creamy, but not too heavy, and paired with crisp apples which were a perfect pairing. Our waiter, Guillermo, was effusive, enthusiastic, attentive, and endlessly charming. He made great suggestions and took great care of us throughout the evening. The prices, while somewhat expected for such an upscale establishment, were on the upper end for the meal provided. Terrazza effuses old money, but somehow avoids being stuffy in the process, thanks to the great, welcoming staff. The ambiance inside, as with the entire Casa Del Mar, is upscale and airy, capturing the vibe of a early 1900s European seaside conservatory, rich with plants, green, and phenomenal views. Perfect for a date, celebration, or someone to impress, Terrazaa is a good choice for great food, excellent service, and phenomenal views at an upscale price tag. Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5 Value: 3.5/5

Yelp
We dined here for the Easter 2025 prix fixe brunch and it was delicious! Here's what you need to know... Location. Amazing location inside the Casa del Mar hotel in Santa Monica, a couple of blocks south of the pier. Parking. We parked at a five-hour meter in front of the hotel (we paid $6.75 for three hours). They also have valet. Not sure if the restaurant validates or not. View. Great views of the beach and bike path from pretty much every table inside the restaurant. Food. The quality of the food was excellent. Like I mentioned, it was a prix fixe menu with a choice of appetizer or salad and an entree along with unlimited trips to the dessert bar for $125 per person (I posted a photo of the menu so you can see the options if you're interested). The meal comes with bread service but no drinks. Cocktails (including mimosas) rund approximatel $20 per glass and coffee was $6 per cup unlimited refills). I had the yellowtail crudo with yuzu oil on cantaloupe puree and it was delicious. My mom enjoyed her watermelon feta salad as well. We both had the grilled branzino which was one of the best branzino dishes I've ever had. There was no side with it, but quite frankly, it was so filling, it wasn't necessary-- however, it would have add a little variety to the meal to have had at least something different with it (my only complaint). Service. Excellent service, although we were seated at a table that had no flatware so our server had to bring us some (at this level of a restaurant, those details probably shouldn't be overlooked). Overall, great experience and we would certainly go back again.

Yelp
Every time we come to Casa Del Mar, we always make a point to have a cocktail and some yummy bites at the Terrazza! Food is solid, view is gorgeous, drinks are delicious, service is warm and generous! Treat yourself and enjoy!

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant with ocean views. Yummy drinks and amazing food. Services was great as well!

Yelp
Hotel dining room but could be a stand alone restaurant. Lots of people working, all professional and friendly and accommodating. The food was solid. My scallops were tender, served on a bed of yumminess( no menu picture) Thankfully a gorgeous view restaurant with food and ambiance to match. And yes, the hanging ferns are real!

Yelp
Great food, location and view. It becomes costly if your party is 10 or more as they require prix fixe menu (pronounced "pree feeks")

Yelp
Great food! Amazing service! Beautiful views There Bisque Cheesecake is a must! Definitely try to go during sunset hour

Yelp
We enjoyed multiple meals during our stay, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Most meals were excellent. Service was top-notch, with Patcho providing attentive service during breakfast and Guillermo impressing us during dinner. Be prepared for higher prices, but the overall experience was definitely worth it

Yelp
The staff at Terrazza went so above and beyond for our little party! They were so accomadating! I cannot emphasize how beautiful the hotel and restaurant are either around the holidays! See for yourself! The food. Incredible and delish!

Yelp
Hello everyone in the St. Louis Mo calling your attention to an amazing restaurant with west coast experience fused with the charm of Italy! Fabulous! My daughter planned a birthday surprise for me! If you want the cherry on top of your west coast experience please visit Terrazza. The Terrazza staff members are ROYALTY!!! Impeccable from valet to host to server!!! From Karen with love to all of you. Truly unforgettable!!

Yelp
Love this place - the restaurant on the 2nd floor of the Casa Del Mar hotel so it has wonderful beach front views, high vaulted ceilings and great entry lobby. We were here for my niece's birthday brunch. We sat in the middle table for our group and the servers were very attentive. The menu for brunch has a lot of choices I see a lot of other customers ordering the wagyu burger - that's what my niece ordered (pictured below) I opted for eggs Benedict (dungeness crab) and regular coffee which is refillable. They give you the thermos for you to refill your cup. The wagyu has a very thick patty - my niece can only eat half and had the rest to go. She said it was flavorful. My eggs Benedict was cooked perfectly and there's enough crab to make it worth the up charge. Would highly recommend this to those who want beach front views and great ambiance. We went Saturday (Labor Day weekend) and there's a wedding party taking photos by the hotel. Such a lovely place and you can walk to the pier from here. I used valet service for $14 good up to 3 hours so that gave us enough time to eat and walk to the pier.

Yelp
This restaurant is in Cada del mat hotel. Had a great ocean view. Perfect for breakfast. Very scenic.. you can watch the ocean waves and also the joggers and people on the beach. Great to go w friends. The menu was short and sweet but the food was good. I had the eggs benedict c shrimp. It was average. Nothing dazzling but it works. The service was ok. A bit abrupt but I see it gets busy in the day. Many picturesque scenery. All in all it was 3 to 4 stars.

Yelp
We came here for Thanksgiving dinner a few years back and were delighted with the level of service, the food, and the atmosphere. It's located in the Hotel Casa del Mar. Last night we were there to celebrate Valentine's Day. Once again we were not disappointed. It's the best prefixed menu we've ever had. We had Kampachi Crudo and Burrata with Caviar for our starter. The main course was Chilean Sea Bass and American Wagyu NY Strip. For dessert we had Banana Cream and Salted Chocolate Mouse. Everything was delicious but we were not a big fan of the Chocolate Mouse. Service was top notch.

Yelp
Went to Terrazza at the Casa del Mar for an anniversary dinner the other night, and boy did it deliver! Excellent food, impeccable service, and a friendly, scenic atmosphere. For starters, the valet was professional and polite, identifying me with a smile and calling me by name. The lobby, which appears to have been completely reimagined since the last time I was there, was clean and beautifully decorated with an apparent attention to detail. Finding our way to the hostess stand, they were waiting to take us to a nice table while we waited for our "sunset view" table. The bubbly they brought helped to set the mood. Once we moved to our table next to the floor-to-ceiling windows and mooned over the sun, setting over the beach, we settled down to the food portion of the dining experience. David, the man in charge, took great care of us throughout the evening, checking on our experience as he stopped by each table to offer that personal touch. Guillermo, our server, who hails from Barcelona and shared his wisdom of the menu, which, coincidentally or not, included a number of Spanish ingredients and dishes. For example, we greatly enjoyed, at his urging, the Iberican ham with pureed spanish tomatoes and Pan de Cristal, all of which are flown in from Spain. The other appetizer we got was the kompachi crudo, which was incredibly fresh and beautiful seasoned. For our mains, we enjoyed the sea scallops with faro, corn, and squash, and their famous sea bass with mini clams and asparagus in a delicate parsley-based reduction. We washed it all down with a bottle of wonderful pinot, chosen by David, and a spectacular basque cheesecake. We took an abbreviated stroll by the beach and then got our car from the valet (who seemed to be expecting us). Great venue, great service, great food, and a memorable evening. Thank you, team Terrazzo. N.B. - we were too busy enjoying everything to remember to take pictures of the food to post. You'll have to see for yourself.

Yelp
What used to be Catch - arguably one of my favorite restaurants in LA - is now Terrazza; although the menu is very similar. They still have raw bar but no longer have sushi items. The vibe is more casual with the terrace and lounge style seating, with cascading overhanging plants throughout and green and blue hues in the stones decorating the space. I had dinner here one weekday evening, and we were able to get seated without a reservation. We started off with the Farmer's Lettuce Salad and the crab cake, which were delicious. The salad had a very light vinaigrette dressing, plump beets, and a a few slivers of tangy midnight moon cheese - a very nice combination. For the main course we had, acorn squash, pink snapper, and the dorade - again all delicious and cooked well. We topped the night off with some tea as we watched the ocean waves lit up by the Santa Monica Pier Ferris wheel lights glimmer in the distance.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and it was a perfect choice. Great ambiance, great food, great service. Everything we ordered was delicious!

Yelp
My friend recommended this place for brunch. We came in the day after Tropical Storm Hilary and the restaurant was almost empty from the warnings that schools closed and people stayed home. I'm sure on a normal day it is really crowded. We were seated next to the window where I could see the Santa Monica pier and the Ferris wheel. I ordered the White Egg Omlette (Tuscan Kale, mushrooms and tomatoes), and instead of egg whites I wanted regular eggs with yolks. The omlette was cooked perfectly and the kale, mushrooms and tomatoes were tasty. It came with potatoes, half a grilled tomato and bread (I chose English Muffin). Service was on point and it was a nice and relaxing brunch. I can see how this place gets super crowded on the weekends.

Trex L.

Yelp
I give four stars because the service of this restaurant is absolutely fantastic, especially my waiter, Adrian. These are real pros and they are some of the nicest people you'll ever come across and are truly happy to serve you. My only minuscule complaint is that some of the items on the menu seem a bit thrown together and are a little bit bland. While they have great french fries and chips, the sandwiches are a little sloppy and not all that exciting. The fish tacos also quite bland. I had the club salad once and it wasn't quite filling though pretty tasty. The bar does make a very good martini, but I would suggest if you're coming for the first time try visiting for a drink and a small app in the late afternoon and see how you like it. You will not be able to beat the vibe and they will treat you well, even if you're only having drinks and appetizers.

Yelp
So glad to enjoy brunch at this lovely restaurant! First, the location was perfect for the occasion (a special brunch with family during the holidays). We (requested & were given) a table near the window overlooking Santa Monica Beach. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of the hotel, on the ocean side of the hotel lobby, enhancing the beach views (indoor dining only). Since we booked during the holidays, the hotel lobby was beautifully decorated, but even without the Xmas decor, the lobby is a gorgeous space. So many inviting areas to sit and relax in; especially loved the series of curtained "cabanas" down one side, and the tile floors and glass light fixtures are stunning. Must have been such a pleasure to design and decorate this beautiful space. More importantly, the brunch was also a success. Dining is table service (not buffet style) and we all enjoyed our cocktails (Mimosa, Purple Love !!) and meals (croissant breakfast sandwich, poached egg plate, chef's salad, etc.) and the service was great. Prices were reasonable for the setting and quality. We were encouraged to relax and enjoy ourselves afterwards and were not rushed to leave. Such a pleasant experience! This really checked all the boxes for our adult OC family to kick off a day of sightseeing in the city. Would also make a lovely setting for any special occasion or celebration. If I lived nearby it would be on regular rotation

Yelp
This restaurant exceeded my expectations. The entire staff from beginning to end exceptional at customer service. The location as well as the decor inside the restaurant itself was beautiful. The food was good but definitely outshined by our amazing waiter and the wonderful views. I would definitely recommend and will be revisiting.

Alex W.

Yelp
BEAUTIFUL view. Great food. Great service. Not the most up to date interior. Not a hater... just maybe not the trendiest decor..... go for the view! If you're looking for a sexy vibe.... maybe not.

Yelp
Beautiful views...classy, romantic ambiance. Impeccable service. Our meal was delicious. The wine was very good as well. Very impressed. Can't wait to visit again. My boyfriend gets extra points.... ( he made a reservation without me knowing and surprised me with a very nice lunch. ) I had never been there before, and the entire lunch was amazing. Wonderful memory.

Yelp
Stopped in midweek in the late afternoon for a couple drinks and some oysters. Both we're delicious. The service was quite warm and friendly. The view is spectacular. Would repeat without a second thought.

Yelp
@fransisco (Pancho) went above and beyond to make sure we are happy and satisfied, after arriving 10 minutes late for our reservation and were told they have stopped serving lunch. Interestingly I have made a call and in advance and informed them please note we will be late. Long story short, we got a great service from him, great conversation and enjoyed the venue. Thanks Pancho.

Located in the exquisite Casa Del Mar hotel...breathtaking beautiful restaurant with the loveliest ocean view! Fantastic service!!! Foodie Heaven! A Must Try!!!

Yelp
This restaurant is located inside the Casa Del Mar hotel. They do have valet parking, the valet drivers were so great they sent us off with water for the road, incredible service. We came in the evening so I missed the sunset view and the beach but even without it the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. Our waiters listened to everything we were saying, before we even asked him what we needed he was taking care of it. We brought a cake with us for a birthday and they were so gracious they wouldn't even let us cut it, they asked us how many cloves we wanted and took care of it for us. Onto the food, everything we ordered was great- I was too hungry to take pictures of every dish but the most memorable item for me was the corn chowder, it is out of this world creamy and light and packed with flavor. Not sure why this restaurant doesn't have more stars on Yelp but I hope this review changes that!

Yelp
One of the singers that performs there quite frequently is very over flirtatious with women. My girlfriends and I were there for a small intimate bachelorette party and he crossed the line on many levels. His name was Aryk Crown I believe, and I would have assumed after my friends/bride brought up the uncomfortable behavior to Management that he would have been relieved of his duties at this very established hotel. I can tell you now we will never visit this establishment again

Yelp
One of my favorite rooms on the coast in LA. The lobby of the Casa Del Mar is so sumptuous and beautiful. I love this hotel! The bar and lounge are such great places to chill. The staff is always so nice. We had one lame hostess tonight, but I don't envy the job of bar/restaurant hostess in LA. It's tough. Oh well we had lovely snacks and drinks. Delicious food and the servers and bartenders were all so kind and attentive. Loved the calamari and the relaxing vibes. Really one of the best lobby hangs in town.
google avatar

Maylee W.

Yelp
This is the restaurant at Casa Del Mar Hotel. It was quite the trek throughout the hotel to get the outdoor patio, which located adjacent to the beach. Service - a little slow, we specifically ordered the Mediterranean platter as a starter but they brought it out with the lunch! I ordered the Cobb Salad with salmon and it was pretty bland. Food - 3 stars Ambiance- 3 stars. A homeless guy started to harass us, and the security guards had to shoo him away. I guess that's the type of ambiance you have to deal with.
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
Great ambiance and live music but on Friday December 8th, female singer took over 30 minute breaks after singing only one hour and lost her audience. Long breaks are not good for patrons or the hotel. 15 minute breaks and 45-60 minutes of live music makes more sense.
google avatar

Alexzandria T.

Yelp
We came here for a nice brunch and it's definitely on the nicer side! The decor is stunning, there is family style or intimate tables with a perfect unobstructed view of the beach! I'm happy to report that the food was great as well! We enjoyed the steamed mussels that comes with toasted bread for dipping which was plentiful. The salads were delicious and I enjoyed every bit of it. (Believe me, I usually don't order salads when I go out lol) the grilled chicken was a little dry for my taste but very flavorful! The salmon is PERFECT. The steak, eggs, and potatoes were also delicious and hearty. Steak was a perfect texture and juicy (the picture looks like it's well done, but it's not). It gave a slightly sweet flavor which was from the mix of sweet potatoes in the dish. Definitely a pleasant surprise!

Yelp
Currently sitting here for Mother's Day brunch. Service is horrendous. Been here since 12pm it's now 1:30 and we have yet to get our entrees. The waiters fill your water and drip it everywhere. The drink orders take forever to come. We had to ask our waiter about food and drinks a few times already. The restaurant isn't even packed and has many empty tables, so there should be no excuse for delayed service. For a $125 pre fixe meal at a nice hotel this service is despicable. The food portions are also very very small and only decent for the price you're paying. At least the view is nice. Will definitely not come back.

Yelp
We recently stayed at Hotel Casa Del Mar and we had breakfast here each morning. We had a great experience! The food is great and we tried the egg white omelette with mushrooms, french toast, scrambled eggs with sausage and drinks. We also stopped by for drinks and enjoyed the shrimp cocktail and oysters with some rose! Gorgeous view of the ocean and absolutely a pleasure eating here.

Yelp
Omg what has happened to this restaurant? Post Covid I went here probably 20 times. It was fabulous! The food, the service. Anyone who came to town I took them there because the food was gorgeous. Ahhh not so anymore. It took us four asks for them to bring us a coke. OVER AN HOUR to bring apps and the Greek plate that had "fresh" pita bread... it was so hard we couldn't bite it. The vegan burger was dry and hard -oh it was mid burger that the coke arrived that we ordered upon originally being seated. The whole thing was an ugly disaster. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. I just kept apologizing for suggesting it. Like I swear this used to be an amazing restaurant I swear.

Yelp
If you're looking for a lively place to enjoy the view, this is one of the best places our town has to offer. Casa Del Mar, built in 1926, is a step back in in time when a hotel was another world of elegance and grandeur, unlike what we see today. Especially when the present preference in design is mid century modern. This is pure opulence. From the sweeping grand entrance , framed by the curved double stairway making one immediately sweep up in style to the lobby bar. Continue your sashay to the restaurant where you'll most likely stop in your tracks. The view from fifteen foot windows overlooking the beach is awesome. Having a toast whilst people watching is a delight. The view of the pier and it's amusement park just makes you smile. Groups and children are welcome as much as those who prefer to dine alone. I left out the fifth star because there's going to be quite a long wait for your service and food. That's not unexpected these days. Just good to know. I haven't mentioned the food, which is all around excellent, better for sunset when the menu changes. But who cares anyway when tide comes in? It's visually splendid. Make your reservation and prepare to lounge. Breathe and take it all in. As always, cheers!

Yelp
We stopped at the inside bar mid morning for light refreshments. The prices were outrageous. $16 for a juice (had to ask for the glass and ice -- also this juice brand only cost $8), and $30 continental breakfast. The setting is very nice but the staff was inattentive and the menu is way overpriced. We Would not return.

Yelp
Came for brunch with a group. The waiters were nice but service was beyond slow. Took forever just to be offered water let alone drinks. They brought out all the food except one, which was taking forever. So we are waiting to eat. Everything is getting cold. They obviously forgot it. Informed the manager of the situation. Her response was lacking/muted. Then after that, the waiter comes over to almost admonish us for escalating to the manager. Instead of apologizing, he tells us it takes time to prepare the final dish. Bro, it was avocado toast! They were able to make the lobster roll, the eggs Benedict, the tacos, and everything else, but the avocado toast needed the most time! Unbelievable. There are so many good places in LA that I wouldn't come back simply because the service was quite disappointing. Too bad as the space and views were fantastic!

Sharon R.

Yelp
I really enjoyed dining at Terraza! Service and staff were excellent. A special shout out to Jorge, He is amazing and very kind. The food was delicious and the view is to die for!

erica e.

Yelp
I like Terraza because of the vibe and the view. You can be comfortable if you're dressed up or down. I think it has to do with the fact that it is a hotel restaurant. The bar are is also lovely.

Yelp
The food is fine, but the real reason to come here is for the ambience and environment. The interior is really nice and it's a great place to meet up with friends.

Yelp
Terrazza is a restaurant inside the Casa Del Mar Hotel in Santa Monica and it has direct, unobstructed beach views. Yesterday, after a quick visit at Venice Beach and not finding anything acceptable to eat, I decided on a visit to a former frequent spot, the Casa Del Mar Hotel. It's a Spanish classically styled building formerly occupied many years ago by Pritikin Health Institute. Later, was sold and remodeled by the hotel group. Upon entry into the hotel, go up the stairs, walk straight down the walkway, pass the lounge, pass the bar and towards the big bay windows. Terrazza is a California casual restaurant that offers Italian and other popular food selections. The restaurant mostly caters to its hotel guests but is open to the public. From almost every seat, you have a clear view of ocean, Santa Monica beach and the pier. It was approaching 12noon yesterday and the restaurant was not busy, in fact there were lots of available seating. The host/waiter wanted to sit me at a smaller table off a corner? Immediately rejected his offer and walked to a bigger table, in front and center where I wanted and told him he was ridiculous, as the restaurant is practically empty, either I sit at my choice table or I leave....of course I won ;) The paper menu cover had a drawing of an old woman, looking rather witchy poo and demonic, that scary tactic worked, because I hated looking at the ugly cover, so I quickly opened the menu. Halloween prep? Selections were limited and typical hotel food of sandwiches, salads some pasta and seafood. Because we are on the beach, I decided on the fresh steamed clams and a chilled ginger beer. Not a fan of beer, but have taken a liking to ginger beer, because it tastes similar to ginger ale with a hint of alcohol, almost non existent really. The drink satisfied my thirst for the moment. The clams in a small bowl, were medium size, and the white wine broth was loaded with garlic and sprigs of spinach. A toasted rustic bread accompanied to dip into to savory broth. The clam dish and my chilled drink was sufficient for a solo lunch gazing out the window, looking at the sunny SoCal blue water, beach and people riding their bikes on the path, absolutely love living in southern California, specifically LA, with access to almost anything: mountains, beaches and city, I love it. This restaurant with this setting has been here for years. The furnishings and setting hasn't changed, all old dated, almost hideous. The killer ocean and beach views is the draw. The menu has changed, because one of my fav drinks is no longer listed; an ice blended pomegranate margarita. The bar doesn't have a blender :( Also, the menu offers little healthier vegan options. Additionally, even though the restaurant is dog friendly, no bowl of H20 was offered. Service initially was placid, but later became Luke warm. Compared to eating at a food stand on Venice boardwalk, which I would never do for my preference, Terrazza is a nice, safe and lovely casual restaurant. In the past, I had many business lunches and dinners here, so it's quiet and business professional appropriate setting. Valet parking a is partially validated by the restaurant for dining guests. During the day, the restaurant and lobby activity is sedate. Some evenings, there is live band performing current music favs. If you get a chance to catch a live performance during dinner, it's fun and a worthwhile good time.

Yelp
Me and my wife had enjoyed a beautiful evening dinner to celebrate our Anniversary. Everything to service, food, the decorative environment was great! Also, what was most amazing was the view from our table at the window. You can catch the sunset from between 6-7pm. I'd definitely dine here again. Thank you Terrazza!

Yelp
On our last day in Santa Monica we decided to head here to grab a cocktail and watch the sunset! It was a good plan. It's a stunning room with beautiful decor and prime ocean views. We chose a table with a lovely sunset view and were quickly served. We just wanted some drinks. My husband enjoyed a local beer and I enjoyed the sangria, while the kids enjoyed Shirley Temples and shared some poke. They also serve house chips complimentary which is a nice touch. Then we sat with a clear view of the ocean and sunset and enjoyed our drinks. This is a lovely elegant setting and a great place to go whether you want a cocktail or a full meal. Great location in Santa Monica.

First time at this gem in Santa Monica city . Walked in I was welcomed with a huge warm greeting and warm smile By Lorena , she made me feel welcome from the moment She greeted us to the moment she led us to our beautiful table. The place was stunning loved the real indoor plants in dining Floor . My table was amazing with breath taking view , you can watch the sunset and the beautiful colored sky the view is stunning it complexity transform ur mood to more relaxing mood romantic . And Jessica was our server. She was so knowledgeable about the menu and went above and beyond in her service to give us the best experience . Even I am ketogenic diet and my boyfriend is vegetarian she was able to find. Great dishes for both of us. We started with an amazing drink she suggested to us , I did not catch the name of it but it was delicious and we got the Mediterranean platter (( baba ganouch , tzatziki. And slice of peta bread. Which was great suggestion as well fit the vegetarian and hit my ketogenic as well. And for dinner Jessica suggested and narrowed down my food to ,Seared Chilean Sea Bass Smoked Asparagus Manila Clams Leeks Parsley Sauce And my bf end up ordering the roasted mushrooms pizza. The food was Devine. My fish was seared and cooked to perfection the food was tasty full of flavors and delicious as we finished with pear cobbler I believe, by that time my second drink was sneaking up on me. Between the great welcoming from Lorena. To the tasty food and drink were served. And the great service Jessica gave us , she went above and beyond to give us the best experience . Yelp
I've lived close by this restaurant forever and finally decide to give it a try with some friends. The hotel is beautiful and well kept so I was expecting a lot from the restaurant. The waiter we had was not very nice. We asked for recommendations about the fish dishes and he said "We don't do that here." He literally would not comment or give his opinion on any of the dishes on the menu! He seemed to not want to be held responsible?? So odd. I'm not sure who hurt him so bad but that was definitely a first for me. What I noticed is that the staff in the entire hotel is kind of rough around the edges like that... non-smiling, non-engaging. I asked a guy at a desk in the front of the hotel if I could take a picture of the painting he sat in front of and he acted like asked him to shine my shoes. He slowly rolled his chair 3 feet to the side, not quite out of the way and he clearly did not want to do it. Whoever is doing the hiring for this hotel needs to understand that part of the experience of spending so much on a dinner is being served by people with at least a little personality. We tipped the waiter well anyway but I do not have an urge to go back and that is unfortunate.
