Terrazzo, Ristorante E Bar

Excelllent service, beautiful terrace. We went around 5:30 pm just in time to catch the beautiful sunset over there. Pasta was good, fresh and plentyful, although the bread portion that accompanies it was too small (2 slices per plate). Drinks were also good. Would come back again.

Very nice location overlooking the lake, with sunset view. Good quality food, prepared in an open kitchen, which seems quite uncommon in Guatemala.

Unfortunately the pepperoni pizza wasn’t great. There was not that much flavour and tasted like an oven pizza you get from a supermarket. On top of that it took them 35mins to make one single pizza… the waiters were nice but why do they walk around you all the time? We were literally being watched lol. We then ordered the brownie and it tasted like plastic. The cherry on top was being charged 10% for tip!! They said the system does it automatically… the music and view are nice though. Shame about the food and the cheeky tip charge.

Fine dining food. We enjoyed tasty tropical shrimp dish with pineapple and a good grilled tuna steak (potatoes slightly too hard and grilled vegetables lacked flavour). The caprese salad was good but could have done with fresh mozzarella. Good quality olive oil and balsamic vinegar are offered with plenty of complimentary garlic bread. The final highlight was the homemade ice cream with multiple flavours. Very creamy. Whipped cream wasn't necessary for the purists. The sunset view was lovely. The fans and the linen blinds helped balance the sun's intensity across the evening. The service staff were very attentive... if not too attentive/intense, reducing a calm fine dining experience into a more typical restaurant, such as taking a plate away the same second it was finished. The restaurant really does offer high quality food but the atmosphere with high volume party music does not match. A think over the restaurant's identity would be important - does it cater for fine dining and families, or for partygoers. I recognise this can be tricky.

The service was great! Emir was our waiter and he was such a joy! Highly recommended.

Pretty place with a nice balcony to watch the lake. The food was amazing. We had a salad with shrimps, pasta with mushrooms and a tuna steak. The Tuna steak was amazing, so were the side dishes and the salad. We also had a strawberry Daiquiri. The service was very good and they had an English menu. There's also plenty of cocktail options.

This rating is VERY wrong. If you want to go for a beer with a nice view - that’s fine, if you plan to eat and have a cocktail - it’s a no-no. Very bad food and very bad drinks. Just no. It might look ok, but it tastes terrible. Meat is prepared outside without any protection.

I rate this restaurant highly because we had delicious food and the waitstaff was accommodating to the fact that I was gluten free. The beautiful shrimp salad came with garlic bread but they brought me yummy potatoes instead. Also highly enjoyed my Mayan mojito that had basil instead of mint. Good service and view. The waitstaff speaks both Spanish and English.
