Very nice and tasty Ramen. Not only Ramen, the fried chicken and gyoza also very nice! Can get the Special Set menu Small seating area with good vibes, chef cooked in front of us! Both of us think that 烧豚味增 （Pork belly with mince meat, get the spicy one) taste better than the special set menu’s ramen. Went on Monday 11am+, full house but no queue. 12pm+ the queue started lining out.

Just went to ramen alley and dont know which restaurant to eat then I came here because theres queque in the front of restaurant. Turns out the ramen is so good, it match my texture preference which is a little bit harder than usual ramen. Broth is amazing, very flavourful and such a good decision to add corn butter which bring the sweetness to the broth. Pork itself also good - so yeah this is great ramen

Super cosy (as all traditional Japanese restaurants are), rustic, authentic, no frills Ramen restaurant. Probably only sits about 18 pax at a time. Very popular so always has a queue, you need to first get a ticket from the door person and come back as per their instructions as can’t block the alleyway or other restaurants. Friendly, efficient management of the queue and service. Order and pay via a machine (each person must order a ramen). Ramen sets came with gyoza and fried chicken - oh so good!! Delicious, creamy ramen with Chashu pork, butter and corn. Crispy, crunchy fried chicken and delicious gyoza. Definitely worth the wait (only waited 20 mins exploring nearby bowling alley and amusement centre).

One of the highest rated in the Ramen Alley and didn’t disappoint. There’s quite a queue but take note that it is automated and the staff will assist you. Once it’s your turn they will email you to go back to the shop. The flavors are good, the meat is tender and the noodles are firm. Great quality of ingredients and the soup was not overpowering. I wish I were able to get the set meal with fried gyoza and fried rice.

I ordered three items: 焼豚味噌ラーメン (Yakibuta Miso Ramen), エゾ豚チャーシュートッピング (Ezo Pork Chashu Topping), and 大モチモチ餃子 (Large Chewy Gyoza). The queue was long. I waited around 30–45 minutes on a weekday afternoon, which already sets expectations fairly high. Ordering is done via a terminal once inside, and card payment is accepted, which is convenient. Seating at the counter isn’t too cramped, and once seated, the food is delivered relatively quickly. Price-wise, it’s decent for the area. Unfortunately, the taste didn’t justify the wait. The Ramen was fine but nothing special, especially considering how many strong ramen shops are nearby. I was particularly disappointed with the Ezo Pork Chashu Topping. The meat was quite tough and didn’t feel worth the extra cost. The Gyoza were better in taste, but three pieces for the price felt overpriced. Overall, I wouldn’t come back. Even if there were no waiting line, I’d rather queue for another restaurant in the alley, as there are clearly better-tasting ramen options close by.

We visited this restaurant on the second night of our trip to Sapporo. We arrived around 4:30 p.m., and although there was already a line, we were able to get in after about a 20-minute wait. I ordered the miso ramen, and my child had the salt ramen. The soup was rich and deeply flavorful, and the noodles had a great texture with a nice bite and plenty of character. Even though the portions were generous, we finished everything quickly. My child also happily finished an entire bowl. We really enjoyed these authentic ramen as Japanese. During peak hours, making a reservation might be a good idea. Highly recommended.

Good environment and good vibes. They do an amazing Miso Ramen, very rich and delicious, the butter corn was peak. My group also tried a Soy Sauce Ramen and some deep fried chicken, which were not as good as the miso ramen. My tip is to stick to what they are very good at.

I stopped by at 5 PM and was lucky to find almost no line. I highly recommend the Miso Butter Corn Ramen—the butter adds a wonderful creaminess to the rich, flavorful broth, and the corn provides a nice sweetness. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, and the service was both friendly and efficient.. If you want to avoid the crowds, coming around late afternoon is a great idea!

Ate here today with some of my family trying this place out for lunch. We definitely got different kinds of ramen to eat and enjoy individually and couple of side orders such as the fried chicken and gyoza that it was quite good and delicious despite the slight language barrier. We couldn't agree more about it. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time when I visit Japan someday in the future! :)

Miso ramen is delicious. This place had short wait. Service was fast. You order at kiosk with language option, then sit for short wait and your order arrives soon after. All ramen bowls were perfect. Noodle texture was on point. Broth was thick. Very casual location. Suitable for small parties, 4 people at max. Go give this a try!

Deliveiisu ramen spot in the famous ramen alley. No wait We'd 1'pm lunch. Order at the automatic kiosk in your language and wait for service at counter. Only ramen shop in the alley with Hokkaido speciality dishes. There is one small table in the back.we tried the miso ramen all toppings, one traditional ramen and bbq ramen. The miso ramen soups is delicious. A little salty but flavourful. Love the snow crab topping. Service fast and efficient. Overall authentic ramen shop in the area.

Nestled in the depths of ramen alley sits Teshikaga ramen selected by TripAdvisor Travelors' choice award in 2024. The char siu miso ramen is definitely the big hitter with a delicious giant piece of charcoal cooked char siu draped across the entire bowl. The noodles are perfectly aldente with the perfect broth draw with each bite. You have the choice of getting the regular bean paste miso or spicy miso depending on what you are in the mood for. The ramen also comes with a piece of butter, corn, onions, seaweed, bamboo shoots, and minced meat for that extra flavor explosion. The restaurant is the usual small Japanese ramen shop with 10-12 seats so be prepared for a little of a wait.

Out of all the ramen shops (~17) in Ramen Alley Sapporo, we decided on Teshikaga bc of their extremely impressive Google review rating (4.6, 1,700+ reviews). It was Friday morning and we arrived around 1045am (open 11am). We were the first in line and ordered the following: Gyokaishibori Shoyu Ramen ¥980 | $6.46 Char Siu Miso Ramen ¥1180 | $7.78 Shoyu was very good, but Miso was excellent. As one would expect from all the shops in ramen alley, fantastic atmosphere, service, quality, price.

Teshikaga Ramen / Susukino (Sapporo) -- When Jamie W. and I last visited Sapporo, we didn't get a chance to stroll Ramen Street (Ganso Ramen Yokocho Sapporo), so this time we decided to pick one of the 17 ramen houses that line this alleyway. We didn't do any research beforehand, so we just looked for two empty seats and found them at the counter here. We got lucky because we found the ramen to be packed with flavor. Sapporo is the birthplace of miso ramen, and that was the specialty here as we went through all the choices in the ordering vending machine. We both went for the same order, the ¥1,380 Grilled Pork Ramen Miso Soup, a very robust bowl with a rich miso broth and a generous slice of grilled pork lending deep umami flavor (photo: https://yelp.to/pfMIGTgJ1F). It featured butter and corn, green onion, leeks, ground pork with chili, minced garlic, and a split hard-boiled egg. The noodles were curly and al dente. We liked the soup enough to order an extra helping of butter and corn, another egg, and another slice of grilled pork for ¥450 (photo). Teshikage is an outstanding ramen place in this "ramen alley" at Susukino. It's more in the middle and is one of the few places that has queues (the other being Haruka). We came early enough for it to be a 15 minute wait but by the time we finished, the queue grew longer! Be warned. It's crowded outside and it's crowded and small inside. But the wait is well worth it. I ordered the spicy miso butter corn with bbq pork and added more egg and cha siu. For sides I went with the chicken karage while my friend ordered the non-spicy version and special gyoza. Altogether at the time of writing, my order came out to $12 for those extras which is fantastic (if maybe even in the more expensive end compared to other ramen joints). But what we get is this hearty miso broth with springy noodles, sweet corn and wonderfully cooked egg. In my opinion, the chasiu can be charred a bit more and needed to be softer, but it was still delicious. The karage is crispy on the outside, soft juicy and tender in the inside and fried to perfection! The gyoza is fantastic and extra leeky if you like leeks! Overall! Fantastic place in Susukino! Also if you speak Japanese, the owner will converse with you for a bit!

I never expected a little place to be so good! The salad was really good as well with the sauce. The hamburger was really good. One of the best burgers I ever ate! can't believe the price was so good too. The service is excellent. Had a really good time will come again.

Pretty good ramen spot in the ramen alley at Susukino. I got the spicy cha siu miso ramen and the alpine leaf gyoza. Overall, all of the food (cha siu, broth, noodles, gyoza, etc) was decent, but nothing really stuck out or struck me as amazing. The ramen is cheap and tasty, so it's a good stop during a cold day. The staff are friendly and they will help you order if you do not know much Japanese. The restaurant itself is pretty small and seats a total of 7 people, so it can be a bit of a wait if there's a long line. However, all of the other ramen shops in this area are also very small. I'd say this ramen shop was worth it and I'd recommend it over the other ramen shops around it, especially if it has a shorter line.

Totally amazing tiny ramen spot in snowy Sapporo!! We had the deer ramen which was a treat and also the snow crab one !! Spectacular ramen bowls delicious and with specialty typical Hokkaido ingredients!! This is a long due review - went in February 2024 all the way from Hawaii and can't wait to be back hopefully in 2025! Totally recommend and we will be back soon!! ありはとうございます！

Got the spicy miso ramen here and the seafood ramen. The seafood one was definitely better. The broth tasted better. The miso ramen was decent but nothing to rave about even though it's the most popular item on the menu.

I typically don't like miso ramen at all, but this small ramen shop in the Sapporo ramen alley really had something special going on. I ordered their "Hokkaido Topped With Everything (北海道全部のせ)" which was topped with a meatball, crab legs, butter corn, chashu, and egg. The ramen was quite the adventure - the corn butter blended extremely well with the miso, highlighting the rich butter flavor that is so characteristic of Hokkaido dairy. The egg was amazing, I honestly don't think I've had a better ramen egg up until this point. The quality of the egg was top notch, and was made perfectly. What particularly impressed me was the pork - Japanese kurobuta is always a treat, but Teshikaga grills their pork slightly on a shichirin (Japanese grill) which really punches through the thick miso and adds an entirely new dimension of flavor to the ramen. Unfortunately, the dish had way too much going on. While each highlight paired extremely well with the miso broth, there was no cohesion between the toppings. The butter corn clashed with the smoky pork, and the crab legs just felt out of place. All excitement in the ramen was very front loaded, leaving the mixture of remainders a huge disappointment at the end. Overall very excellent miso ramen, I would recommend going with the chashu miso ramen (or any of the simpler ramen selections)! A very fantastic choice for the cold Hokkaido winters.

When I came to the ramen alley - I had a high hope for those old school ramen shacks you see in movies set in the early/mid 1900s with cement floors and only counter space. Several of these shops look modernized and have fallen prey to modern Japanese service practices. This one looks and feels like what I was imagining! The shop is small and cramped with seating for 7 or 8 with a constant line. You can sit immediately in other places with tons of foreigners - it looks like all the locals head here. Miso ramen usually isn't my favorite but I was determined to try the regional ramen delicacy. I ordered the seafood ramen, garlic Gyoza, and pork bowl. The noodles were of medium thickness which I loved. The scallops, crab, and other items paired well with the broth which I was surprised by. My wife got the corn butter, pork, and crab and it was equally impressive. The Gyoza were small and tasty - nothing super special. The pork bowl was great, chunks of Okinawan-esque Shoyu pork and green onions that saddened me when I finished it off and didn't have anymore. I walked away stuffed and satisfied. This place only gets four stars because most people will complain about the wait, the size of the place and cramped conditions. The miso broth made me re-think my hatred of anything not pork based - try it if you want that old school feel. Go somewhere else if you want to be pampered...
