We dined here for an early Father's Day dinner and got seated quickly. Our server seemed pretty new and a bit shy, but it was alright. The restaurant felt pretty small and cramped, maybe since the ceilings were a bit low. We were tucked at a cozy table with the 6 of us with 2-3 other families in sight. They gave us complimentary table bread and a free garden salad for each entree you order. The salad was actually quite tasty.
For starters, we ordered the fried calamari, octopus, and a mushroom, baked clams, and shrimp dish which I forgot the name of. The fried calamari was pretty good, the octopus was cooked well but the sauce was too sour in my opinion, the baked clams were good but on the smaller side, and the mushrooms were very good.
For my entree, I got the filet of sole francese which was great. I have no complaints about it. It comes with some potatoes and green beans. The sole was nice and tender, and the coating had the perfect amount of lemon. My dad got the ribeye, and after trying a piece, it was really good considering the price. My brother got the sea bass, which was only $40ish, but they give you a gigantic piece of sea bass. Well worth it.
All in all, it was a good dinner. The service was pretty slow at times, and we had to call the waiter to double check things and re-ask for some items because they had forgot to get them for us. That was a little weird since the restaurant was not busy at all.
