I had the most wonderful stay at Hotel Tesouro da Baixa by Shiadu! The staff were absolutely amazing, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. The location couldn't be more perfect, right in the heart of everything, which made exploring the city a breeze. The hotel and room itself were fantastic - comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. And what can I say about the breakfast? It was simply the best! A great selection of delicious options to start the day right. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly – it truly made our visit to the city unforgettable. LOVED our stay at Tesouro! We had a Twin room, and got lucky with a corner room which had a fantastic view. The rooms are spacious, with all the necessary amenities. The staff are some of the nicest, warmest people! They’ve basically taken over the third floor of the building, so everything (dining, reception, rooms) are all in the same floor, so it has a good balance of privacy and community. The breakfast is also quite good and fresh! The room is situated in the heart of Baixa, a super central and lively location. Would definitely recommend!

Don’t let the entrance dissuade you. You have to access the hotel through the middle of a shoe store, and the 3rd floor lobby is decorated in a boho/shabby chic manner that at first glance looked like a hostel. But the service is incredible, and the room was gorgeous. We stayed more than 2 weeks and were very happy here. They gave us a corner room that had small balconies along two sides, with three large door/windows. The room was spacious and had many amenities: a refrigerator (stocked), a safe, plenty of outlets and lamps, excellent A/C, and a large bathroom with a heated towel rack. And the location was perfect - easy walking distance to many sights and restaurants as well as to public transportation.||The breakfast was amazing – all kinds of homemade pastries, croissants and quiches as well as eggs, beans, bacon, assorted cheeses and cured meats, fruits and vegetables, and their own homemade jams. They also made eggs to order and had great coffee machines plus an assortment of loose and bagged teas. We never had any trouble finding a table and they were very efficient with clearing away dishes and keeping the tables clean. The staff were all so incredibly nice and helpful, with great recommendations for restaurants and tours, they made this feel like home away from home!

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast options were excellent, offering a variety of hot and cold choices. I stayed on the 3rd floor, right next to the breakfast area, and while I expected some noise, the double doors and well-insulated windows kept the room perfectly quiet.||The only downside is the lack of a spacious lobby area, which you might find in larger hotels. However, the location is fantastic—just steps from a main square with access to all forms of public transit, including the iconic Tram 28, buses to Belém, and Rossio Station for trains to Sintra.||If you're looking for a no-frills, great value-for-money place to stay, I highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel is perfect, with many must-visit sites within easy walking distance, which made exploring a breeze. Starting each day with the delightful breakfast was a joy! They offer a wide variety of options, from freshly baked pastries and an assortment of fruits to a selection of teas and coffee. Plus, the friendly team members were always ready to whip up some eggs just the way you like them. The staff's ability to speak many languages added to the comfort of our stay, making communication smooth and easy.
