Texas Music City Grill & Smokehouse

TMC is the place to go out here in Lindale! Wanted to get some good food while visiting for the night, and we found that place. We had a great time! Service was great, thanks to our server Kim! The ambiance was that classic robust country bar & grill you search for out here in east Texas. The food was even better as you can see! Everyone at my table enjoyed their meal thoroughly! I am still thinking about the delicious brisket and Texas Twinkies. Thank you Texas Music City for the great time!

Best brisket nachos I've ever had. My kids loved their kids meals as well and everything was very reasonably priced. We went for lunch and we were seated right away. Our server was very friendly and helpful.

I had the salmon. It was perfectly cooked and delicious. They never disappoint. They had live music and it was great too.

Delicious food! Everything was seasoned well and the drinks were strong. The venison meatloaf was perfectly smoky and flavorful, my only regret was forgetting my leftovers in the fridge when I left town 😭. The kids menu was also tasty and has something for every picky eater! Our waitress, Mary, absolutely made our visit perfect. She was super attentive, very funny, and super patient with the two rambunctious boys we brought with lol. Absolutely will come again next time I’m in town! Wonderful experience, and make sure you request Mary as your server!

We were in Texas, and my wife had one thing on her mind—a great steak! So we decided to check out this spot, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. 🔸 My wife ordered the 10oz NY Strip and gave it a solid 9.2/10 – juicy, flavorful, and hit the spot. 🔸 My friend also got the NY Strip and was even more impressed, giving it a 9.6/10. 🔸 His wife went with the salmon, which she rated a 9/10 – the only reason it wasn’t higher is because it had a bit of a spicy "bite" to it, and that’s just not her thing. 🔸 I ordered the ribeye with mashed potatoes and street corn. Flavor-wise, it was good, but it wasn’t cooked the way I asked – I had to send it back twice, so I’m giving it an 8.9/10. Still, the sides were on point. ✨ Overall, we give the place a strong 9 out of 10. But what stole the show? 💥 The jalapeño pepper stuffed with brisket and wrapped in bacon. I was very skeptical that it wouldnt taste good but I was very surprised. It was fantastic!!! Not disappointed at all. I’d eat here again if I was In The area.

We paid cover charge of $5 so we could listen to live music which we enjoyed. It only took 15 minute wait to be seated on a Saturday night. Everything we ordered was very good and our server was very friendly and accommodating. We had chips and salsa/queso, cajun shrimp tacos, 6 Oz ribeye, chicken fried steak, and the nachos. We had strawberry margaritas and cosmos which were really good. We will keep this place in mind next time we come through on our travels.

It is a pretty quiet place except when the band is playing. The band is set up next to the bar. Lisa at a high top by the bar and had a great view. As loud as it was we could still have a conversation which is very nice. The band was good. The service was excellent (Matt and Candice!! ). The atmosphere and ambiance was very Texas!! Try the twinkies. It's not what you think ... And the bread pudding is it adequately described in the menu. It comes with a caramel whiskey sauce and ice cream and it's very moist and it's delicious!

Best Monte Cristo I've ever had. Go get one and better yet, get some fried okra with it! You're set

I've been wanting to try this place while I was in town for work finally got to I had the venison meatloaf which was outstanding I would definitely go back love the service love the food love the atmosphere of the bar is awesome as well..

I was spending the night in Lyndale and I asked Groc for a restaurant that would have entertainment and friendly people and he sent me to Texas music city Grill. I would almost move just so I could have that place near to me on every week. They had a smoked ribeye that was delicious. I had never had that before. The waitresses were friendly. The band was magnificent and the people that go there were very nice several stop by to introduce themselves as I was setting alone at the bar if you're ever headed out in this part of Texas, I definitely recommend you visit for dinner. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I learned from now on I ask Groc where should I go eat?

5/5 Stars - Beers? Yes. Reality? Optional. We sat at a table, expecting nothing more than two beers and perhaps the slow crawl of time. But then--Caylee arrived. She didn't walk--she materialized, as if summoned by the collective thirst of our ancestors. With the grace of a swan trained in silent theater, she delivered our beers with such precision that I briefly forgot how chairs worked. The beers themselves? Cold. Familiar. Comforting. But it was the act--the ceremonial placement of them on our table--that transcended mere service. One moment we were two mortals in need of refreshment, the next we were participants in a beverage-based ritual older than language. Did she speak? Possibly. Or maybe the glint in her eye communicated everything we needed to know: "Drink these, and know joy." Great place to listen to live music in Lindale! Separate venue in the back with a small stage and bar. You can still hear the music sitting at the restaurant bar if you don't want to sit where the action is. Attached to the Pink Pistol for shopping and wine tasting!

The food was great, the service was wonderful and the entertainment was entertaining enough. I would go back.

Wife and I again had the pleasure of visiting "TXM" in Lindale, TX Thursday afternoon. I guess you'd say we were there for "linner" so we were hungry. Wife went for the juicy burger with fries. Now to be honest, there was a disconnect between the order taker and the kitchen staff. She ordered her burger with no cheese and cooked medium. Initially it came out with the burger a dark gray. Back to the kitchen it went. Second try and out it comes with cheese. Third time was a charm and she ate every but of it. And in case you're wondering, yes there were hot fries added each time. I ordered the two meat , brisket and smoked sausage with broccoli and fries. The brisket could be cut with a spoon and was DELICIOUS! The smoked sausage was done perfectly and not over smoked. Fries were hit and though the broccoli was cooked perfectly, would have been better with a little drizzle of melted butter. A couple of our favorite adult beverages topped off our meals. There was live music being played and some folks were out there "cutting' the rug". And outstanding value for the money. This restaurant has become one of our "go to" places for good food. The wife's order may not have come out right but they admitted the error and made it, with a smile and an apology. In you're new to Lindale or passing through, do your taste buds a favor and stop into the Texas Music City Grill and Smokehouse. You can thank me later.

I've been driving by this place for a while now. Never went in. I'm regretting it now. Between the group of 4 I was with, we got several things off the menu. Everything we ate was amazing. Our waitress was incredible. We never waited for service. We also noticed that she never wrote down anything down. But yet, the orders were perfect. I believe her name is Nicole P. She was awesome. The live music started at 8. The entire ambiance was that of a big city venue. I'm sad that I have not tried this place before now. I'll be back. Probably tomorrow. It's a must try.

I went in for lunch while staying in Lindale for a friend's wedding. The bartenders were both very kind and the cheeseburger was delicious. You can tell it's good quality meat. The vibe of the place is really open and fun. The restaurant is very clean. If I ever go back toLindale, I will absolutely go back and try something else on the menu.

Went tonight a great group of friends. It was my first time, driven. Y it a lot and always thought it looked good. The service was excellent! We had a large group and that was not a problem. Great drink selection, lots of creative cocktails! The food was excellent. Our group ordered everything from steaks to sandwiches and everyone was happy!!! Also had live music and he was great!! Should have used Uber!! Would have stayed a lot longer. We will be back!!

Steak was good. Sides were terrible. Street corn: canned corn with cheese on top. Mashed potatoes were instant. Service was blah.

The texas twinkies were really good! And I'm not a big queso person but this was sooo good. The brisket tacos were a little dry, but once I got more dressing they were good. The texas tea was really good for the price

Been here a couple times with my husband and every time, they don't disappoint. Very friendly staff, delicious food. The place is clean, the food is brought fairly quickly and it's freshly made. I found myself closing my eyes and saying wow to the appetizer, bacon wrapped jalapeños. The smokey flavor was incredible! We had Amy serve us and she was absolutely wonderful! Great service! So happy to know we have a great place to eat so close by.

Came in at 3pm. Ordered a Monte Cristo sandwich. Maybe 5 people there including the folks at the bar. Took almost 30 minutes to get my order. The worst version of a Monte Cristo I've ever had. All bread that was way too sweet and then dusted with powdered sugar. Not near enough on the inside. Very disappointing. Never again.

I was sad they change the Menu and food was Ok my Drink was super Spicy I can't even take a sip was a waste

My daughter and son in law took me here for a steak on my birthday!!! Absolutely amazing and price was fantastic for the quality!! Great atmosphere. Loved it!!

The ambiance is nice; the food is delicious and you're given great service also. They serve generous portions too. One of my favorite places to eat out in Lindale, Texas.

Service: Excellent! Friendly, attentive and sat immediately. Our server was at our table with a pretty packed house in less than five minutes. 5 of 5. Decor and atmosphere: a bit generic but fun. It was a lot of people but, chatting was not difficult. Would not call it intimate in any way. More like a different take on a Chili's. 3 of 5. Food: Good. Queso appetizer was good and fine for the price. We had a New York strip entree with fried green tomatoes which were kind of bland but not bad. I had venison chili and it was fine. Nothing I'll remember but, loved the fresh japs and cute Texas shaped cornbread. 3 out of 5. Drink prices were acceptable. No music on a Wednesday night. Not a bad stop. If they had music I would have given it a 4.5 of 5 but it's Wednesday and the weather was bad. Really appreciate good service. That kept this place from being a dud. Good service is so hit and miss.

Great customer service when we stopped in for lunch after visiting the Pink Pistol. The food quality was average. There wasn't anything in particular that makes me want to drive here just for the food. We attempted the chicken fried steak, coyote burger, and the Lone Star Low Carb. We weren't blown away by the flavors, but we weren't upset about it either ;) I can see how the ambiance here on a night when there is live music can really be fun and I look forward to visiting them on a night where music is taking place.

We had a large group- 11 people total, with 4 adults and 7 teens. Our waitress, Taylor, was AMAZING!!! We told her all of the kids were not ours, and asked if she could divide the check accordingly- she agreed, and said it wasn't a problem. She kept the drinks refilled, had a smile on her face, and made our experience a positive one! Lots of different foods ordered- everyone was happy with their choices. The venison chili was DELICIOUS!!! I am giving 5 stars because of Taylor. Our only complaint: I ordered the brisket plate, and I felt my portion was extremely small for $18, and the brisket was dry and lacked flavor. Again, the service was amazing!

We were out in the area today looking at homes and our realtor recommended this place for lunch. So very glad we came! Not only was everyone absolutely fantastic (the staff) but the venue looked amazing. This place is huge! I was surprised to see the layout, and impressed at the same time. I love the stage area for the live music performers and hope to be a resident in the near future where I can catch some shows. Unfortunately, I did not take pictures of our food, but wish I could have. I ordered the Brisket Tacos... and man o man... the meat just shreds in your mouth. Love that they were on flour tortillas instead of corn. I get it... street tacos are generally made with corn tortillas, but it was refreshing to see and taste the flour ones. I quickly learned from our friends about the Sweet Teas around here, so I just had to try. It was a great pairing on a hot day. My best half of me went to the Pink Pistol (Miranda Lambert's place) with my daughter in law and they walked out with some goodies. My granddaughter took to the stage and was putting on a show for everyone to see (keep an eye out for this one :), everyone enjoyed their meals, and we all agreed that we will need to return someday. Thank you the gracious staff for giving us a very pleasant first experience! We will be back... and as always... Happy Eating!!

Service was excellent. The food was good but for the price I expected more. Their bar is excellent with a large variety of selections. I would go back again but it wouldn't be my first choice.

My rating is using 1-5 scale. Food - 2-2.5 max We started with the stuffed jalapeño which were okay and the chips and chili con queso. The cheese would have been better if they had used plain old velvetta! We both had the smoked ribeye with loaded baked potato and salad. The side salad was the best part of the meal. Service - 4.5 Our server was great. Drinks - 2 Draft beer was good. House margarita was not good. Would have been better if they used a bottle mix. Ambiance - 4.5 If you are wanting a good steak, this is not the place to go. Very disappointed for the money I spent. Everything was bland. And don't order your entree till your appetizer arrives at the table. Everything came out together.

Three words: Monte Cristo Sandwich. Yes, with the raspberry ham! Its just as good as Bennigans used to make! The atmosphere is fun, and the service is quick. My husband liked all the craft beers on tap, too.

Service was good. But the food was so so at best. Brisket on the dry side. The tacos didn't have much of anything in them really. Looks like more of a drinking/music place. Would stop again for a quick cheap bite but not much more....

We sat in the restaurant side. We were greeted warmly and quickly seated at a comfortable table for 2. The pleasant waiter came quickly and took our drink orders. The stuffed jalapeno appetizers were good with just the right amount of heat. Our mains were disappointing. It was 6:15 PM and they were "out" of sliced brisket, but could offer shredded brisket. The shredded brisket was cool/cold on arrival, and though tender, tasted bland with little smoke flavor. Honestly, I'm a northern Yankee and I make better BBQ . All-in-all, I had high hopes, but the restaurant did not deliver. Sorry.

Great place to eat. Food is under rated and the service is top notch. Enjoy some Texas Twinkies with some bbq Ranch! Yum!!! Enjoyed the Coyote Burger very much and the in house music was awesome. Definite 4 star place to visit in Tyler. We will be back again!

It just depends when you go in and what you order. Food is usually 3-4 stars. Service we've had ranged from 2-4 stars and the ambiance just depends on what's going on at the restaurant. The live music is always pretty nice. The drink prices aren't overpriced. Unfortunately, there are some older and younger "regulars" that drink too much and spoil the fun. The food could definitely be better - I recommend getting a couple apps and drinks while enjoying live music. Their King Ranch Bloody Mary is delicious!!

The food was delicious, and the environment was great. The manager was good, she refilled our drinks; but the waitress did not check on us at all. She was shorter dirty blonde and had colored braces. My sister sat with an empty drink for 20 minutes, and the waitress left the check on the table for 10 minutes. 8/10 would still recommend

Oh boy. This is Maranda Lamberts Restaurant. The music, oh the live entertainment had me in a trance. He was fantastic, kept my ear all night. But the service was atroscious and the Food was not the best. Two Sections to this place. A dining area and a bar area. The music is in the bar. Party of four was sat in the BAR at a high top. The waitress comes over and seems put out by having to work this evening. Turns out she's typically i the dining area. So when we ask her about the drinks. We are answered simply "yeah, I don't know", then silence. We look at each other, understandably dumbfounded. The question was " Is ____ your well booze?" So after, we "UM, well.....?" She explains she's not typically in the bar, that's why she doesn't know. And it gets worse..... 30mins later we get said drinks. Then we place our order. When the order comes I can see her put her big tray on a stand and proceeds to deliver our food. Well, where she placed this stand was on the otherside of foot traffic. I saw it in slow motion. A patron runs into while she's holding one of our plates. Shrimp goes flying! But she delivers this plate with just a piece of fish. No fries and she wasn't even going to mention the shrimp were on the floor. Refills, forget it. I had the Ribeye and two sides. It was fine, not as fantastic as you'd think TX cooking would be. But hey, the music was stellar. So you get 2 fabulous stars. This girl needs to be a hostess and that might be a stretch. Do Better Lindale location.

We ate here on Sunday, June 6th, 2021. Arrived at 1:20pm. It was not packed at all and we were seated immediately. Restaurant has all the normal fare for food but service was lacking. It took 25 minutes to receive our appetizers and another 20 for our main course. Again, the food was good but our server was hard to come by. We had the Brisket nachos appetizer but had to ask for more brisket. It had very little. I had the Smokehouse brisket - very good. Big cuts of brisket with just the right amount of fat. It was very tender and tasty. The sauce was sweet. The cornbread was to die for- so good. The bbq beans were also sweet and pretty delish. Good meal. Wifey had the Surf and Turf which was so tender. Shrimp was salty. Good meal. Total meal was $85 for two. Plus tip we got out at $100. Beer selection is okay. Bathrooms were semi-clean. Restaurant itself has a lot of cool country memorabilia and has the Miranda Lambert gift shop and winery attached. We bought four bottles!

Bang average. Food was ok... I had a burger. Fries weren't very good, tasted like they were packaged not actually potatoes. Service? Hmm... meh. Waitress ignored me for a while, took a few mins to get a food menu... Yeah, not terrible, but about the same as what you'd get at chili's.

The bar area is completely inept at putting sports on the TVs. The bartenders don't understand how to do it, and the manager was in his office on his personal phone (I watched him). I gave up requesting a better situation after an hour of asking. I had a great view of a rerun of the UFL but struggled to watch NBA playoff game 6. Food was good, solid 7/10.

Went here last night. Service was awesome loved our waiter. Went for the music it was ok. One man guitarist playing older country no complaints. Now. The food. They were out of spinach dip. So got chips and hot sauce Chips stale and rubbery. Ordered steak which came with green beans and mashed potatoes. Ordered a side of Mexican street corn. Steak tender but no flavor. Mashed potatoes tasted instant. Corn was a cup of frozen tasting corn with green onions and shredded cheese. Not elote at all. Green beans were ok very oily. We won't be back.

Servers were a bit skeptical on coming & most of the restaurant guest stared at my sons& myself when we 1st arrived but after about 10 minutes, things got better! Food was pricy but amazingly good & fresh! Alcoholic beverages were definitely on point!

My first here. Have asked for Jalapeños app and peach cobbler first and the bone in rare ribeye. Sports bar setting and is nice, but a new build. Still is nice. Cobbler is real good. Not amazing. Jalapeños same. Steak same. All nice presentation. I would sure return and bring a pal.

Disappointed today. Second time in a month we have been here and obviously they have changed management or cooks. The menu has been cut down to the lunch menu only. The Lone Star Low carb can be ordered but sold only ala carte. They now put some kind of spicy sauce on the chicken. Then Jerry ordered a prime rib sandwich which says served with Aus Jus. They served it with honey mustard. Asked for Aus just and was told they don't have it. Bathroom was dirty and trash was overflowing. They used to have a manager that would walk through and make sure everything was good. No more.

Can't comment on their food since we never even received a menu. Walked in at 1:30 on a Sunday, was barely greeted by the two girls at the front. It looked like they were really put out that we interrupted their conversation. Took a seat at the bar thinking that would be the quicker service only to be completely ignored. The girls at the front said they would bring us menus, 10 minutes later no menus. Several servers and bartenders walked past us without even acknowledging us. Everyone seemed lethargic and upset to be at work. I refuse to spend money with people that make it so clear that they don't want me there.

Yummy food and great service! Also a fun atmosphere and opportunity to dance. I liked that there were separate rooms. It was nice to eat in peace and then be able to go to the Live music and dancing area afterward if we chose.

I don't take time to leave many reviews but I appreciate help/feedback from others and this place was noteworthy. We travel regularly with our business and get weary of a lot of mediocre restaurant food. Everything here was wonderful! I have to follow a gluten free diet. There was no dedicated menu but our server was very knowledgeable, helpful and kind about it. There were many options! I had salmon, sautéed green beans and salad with the house made strawberry vinaigrette I'm pretty sure will be in heaven! It's not often you find gf apps but I was able to enjoy the Texas Twinkies (cheese stuffed jalapeños wrapped in bacon). My husband had venison meatloaf and loved it. All in all an excellent experience and we'll look forward to returning when work has us back in east TX.

Well! That was a bust! Thought we'd have dinner at the TXM (Texas Music City Grill & Smokehouse in Lindale). Been there once before, couple years ago. It was ... okay. Wasn't anything too memorable ... so ... we thought we'd give it another chance since they didn't look that busy. It's not that we disliked it. It wasn't anything to write home about. (Clue numero uno: If a place isn't busy on a special day like Father's Day ... ya might wanna pass!). They had a family or group of people at the front door smoking like chimneys. In order to go in/out, had to pass through all that smoke that was already blowing on/at us as we walked toward the front door. That they won't tell smokers to move away from the door or a designated smoking area away is another reason why I removed another star. Was greeted by the host & manager (didn't know she was the manager until later). Was given a choice of where we wanted to sit. That was considerate of the seating host as he asked what we would prefer because of my service dog. I said I wanted a booth. He sat us way in the back--which for me is fine, however, anyone else with an SD may take offense to it as that's treating a customer with an SD different than all others. I'm not there to see who is coming & going. We were hungry and wanted to have dinner before getting back on the road. Checked under the table to make sure there wasn't any food under the table. Good to go. Had my SD go under the table. Waitress showed up quite quick to take our drink orders. That's when I looked down as she was showing me how tall the small margarita glasses were with her hands. There was crusted bread crumbs on the table--maybe from chicken or chicken friend steak? I wondered where that came from out loud and she said it must have been from her tablet when she put it down at another table. Ummm, really? That is when I noticed the same greasy crumbs further in on the table. Ewww. No. Table had not been cleaned. She offered to move us. I turned to my left to get ready to stand up and that's when I saw something out of the corner of my eye ... chicken bone on the floor several feet from our table/booth in the middle of the aisle. Waitress tried this excuse "I dropped a plate earlier." Uhhhh ... didn't pick it up immediately? It's in the middle of the floor for goodness sake. We stood up and walked out ... told the host what the problem was. As we walked out, slammed into a wall of cigarette smoke from the same group of people. Not to mention the fact the smoke was inside the entrance because these people were smoking right there outside the door. I couldn't breathe. As we were getting into our vehicle the manager was walking up to us in the parking lot, asking what the problem was--that's when she identified herself as the manager. I noticed her when I had stopped at the back of our car to put my SD in. We told her what occurred. Well, mostly my husband did all the talking as I was having a full-blown asthma attack by that point. Thought it was nice of her to come all the way out to the parking lot to see what was wrong. My husband said she asked what she could do to make it right. My husband thanked her, explained we were just passing through, that we had been there once before and thought to give it another try. Too bad. Here's another one where I wish I had looked at the reviews first, but since we had been once before, didn't think of it.

The cornbread is outstanding!!! We had great service. The food came very quickly. It's your typical Texas honkytonk.fun vibes. My husband ordered the smokehouse ribeye and loved it.

Main menu food was good but nothing write home about. Fried pickles and ranch dressing where best part. One Hostess was helpful , other one was laying on counter like she was bored and not responding to anyone. Would like to go back and try the music part of this place out.
