“Unforgettable Dining Experience with Amazing Service!” 1/1/2025 Texas Roadhouse in Katy exceeded all my expectations! From the moment we walked in, the lively atmosphere and warm welcome set the tone for a great evening. The food was, as always, incredible—my steak was cooked to perfection, juicy and tender, and the sides were fresh and flavorful. And of course, the famous rolls with cinnamon butter were heavenly and impossible to resist! What truly made the experience stand out, though, was our server, Nataly. She was an absolute gem—so kind, attentive, and efficient. Nataly had a natural way of making everyone at the table feel cared for, always anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. Her quick service and genuine smile added a personal touch that elevated the entire evening. On top of that, she carried herself with such a positive and professional attitude, and her charm and friendliness made her stand out even more (not to mention, she’s very cute!). Even though the restaurant was busy, we never felt rushed or neglected, which speaks volumes about how well the staff handles things. Overall, Texas Roadhouse in Katy is the perfect spot for amazing food, a fun atmosphere, and exceptional service. A huge thanks to Nataly for making our visit truly special. I’ll definitely be back soon and hope to see her again. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience!

First time trying Texas Roadhouse in Houston. Loved the atmosphere and the service. Was lucky to catch a seat at the bar. The meals were fantastic. The prime rib was cooked to perfection, and the taste was excellent.

We eat there at 3pm on a Saturday. It's not how I remembered it. I ordered a $30 Ribeye to be cooked Medium. And I received it cook all the way to the point it was hard & dry (Reference Picture Below). We also got Ribs that that was also charred to almost ashes (Reference Picture Below). It was not edible at all. It was like chewing on Flip-Flops smothered in BBQ sauce. The bread & honey butter was good and the Cactus Blossom was also good. I just wish it came with more dipping sauce. The server was OK. I wish she came to the table more times. But she wasn't bad at all. It was not a good food experience. The main course were horrible. I gave them another chance the next day(Sunday for Dinner) and ordered To-Go. We got their Family Pack Chicken Tenders. That was a lot better for the Value. The chicken was good. It didn't quite makeup for the day before. I would have gave them a 4Star but the main courses that they are supposed to be known for (steak & ribs) Bombed. Please reference the pictures below.

Not sure what could be said that hasn't already been said. My wife and I have come here a dozen times in the past couple years, and every time the food and service are amazing. The wait times aren't bad, if you get on the wait-list ahead of time, and go later in the evening or on a weekday. Overall, a great example of a good Texas Roadhouse franchise that always has fresh bread, even close to closing time. One complaint is that the boneless wings are often cold, and they don't do anything special for birthdays aside from bringing out a saddle for fun pictures.

The food here never disappoints! Very delicious steak with generous portions. Every single side is delicious. The staff is very very friendly

Server was great. No issues at all. My kids steak was supposed to be medium well. Came out well, all red and bloody. Returned the steak . My Ribeye was supposed to be "Well" and it was cooked medium well to completely cooked all the way through. I did try eating it but but couldn't. I did return it. Took them a while to get it back. I had ordered the ribs and ribeye. They burn the ribs here. I tried eating the burnt parts as maybe it's part of the way they make them but good couldn't. Ate around the burnt parts. I didn't tell them anything on the ribs. I asked my server to cancel my steak as everyone was done eating. When she went to inquire about it, a few seconds later the steak came out. Manager has me cut it in front of her to make sure it was cooked correctly in which I did. I wasn't really trying to be difficult in any way. FYI: (The last time we were here with family from out of town, my steak meal never came out.) The Manager ended up giving me a discount on my plate due to the overcooked steak and taking a long time to come out. . Although it should have taken 4-5 mins tops. 2 mins or so per side to cook.

We've never had a bad experience at Texas Roadhouse. Everything from the food, ambience, and service has always been phenomenal! We had Bianca as our server today and she did an outstanding job! Her friendly demeanor and attentiveness was very much appreciated 😁 You really can't go wrong with the menu. We've already tried multiple items and have yet to find one that we didn't like. With that being said, we highly recommend trying the following items: Ft. Worth Ribeye, New York Strip, Half-rack ribs, and loaded baked potatoes. We'll probably be back in a few weeks. Can't wait to try out the rest of the menu 😋

Immediately greeted at the door. To make things easier for us we joined the waitlist, before we got there. Checked in and only waited 10 mins before we were seated. The waiter was great, we got the chicken strips and fries with a salad. All were fresh and good! The tenders were crispy and seasoned well. Of course we had their amazing rolls as well. It's a fun stop with good food. Great for a date night!

Let me began by saying we love steak! My wife was in the hospital for a week , but she's finally able to eat, this was her first choice after leaving my grandkids pizza party, so we saved the appetite, then brought my 30 year old son to eat, he was visiting for Jersey, and our 3 year old , I'm giving you all this detail because it was a busy night, my son worked as a waiter in college ten years ago, and I also worked at a restaurant as a teen, so to make it easy we order my 3 year old his hide chicken meal, so it would come out first, eat first, and make sure food wasn't to hot, then we wanted appetizers, so we order first so they don't bring it with the meal, so our waitress says, I will make sure to get it out first, so she took our meals order , well everything came out wrong, and in the worse order, first we got our meals, my steak was over cooked, I asked for medium rare, but I got more of a medium well, I don't send food back, so I ate it because I was starving, my son got mineral water instead of sprite, my 3 year old kid meal came after, good thing it was cold as it was seating out for a while, then appetizers come out last, our waitress apologized, she offered to make the steak over, but no way I was sending it back, we cancelled the appetizers, we had our meals already, our waitress said someone took ours, so for a Texas Roadhouse year over year, we visit San Antonio locations a lot, and south of Houston, never have we ever had such bad service, and food, we still tip 20% we hope things get better, but we assure you we will never be back to this location. We approached the manager that came to our table ( Sarah) told her about it , she apologized and that was it, there was no apologetic gesture from her end, we didn't expect anything better from this location, so we believe this issues start from the top, management, no quality control. Lot of people standing around during service. We did let her know waitress tried to re do the steak, but the experience was already ruined. BEST BREAD EVER!!! The steaks were one for 3... My son received the absolute perfect steak, medium rare, juicy, well seasoned, and deliciousness. My wife's wasn't seasoned quite as well, and closer to medium. I got the short end of the stick with a nearly well-done steak, and service was so backed up that I just added A1 until it had some moisture.

Service was poor at best. Wife's meal was wrong twice, only to be told sorry !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great cuts of steak. We picked our own! This margarita is Delicious! The manager and waitress were attentive but the front desk ladies weren't welcoming and has us waiting before greeting us with a dry, "how many?" Food was good.

Been ordering take out since it's more convenient to pick up and dine at home versus wait for table. Usually food is ready on time but recently they changed the parking for take out. Not enough parking spot for Togo orders and I couldn't even notify them I have arrived since there was no where to park. Then once I parked, they notified food is not ready. So I received it later than promised time. And then they didn't provide all the toppings/condiments that come with my order. I paid extra for loaded mashed potatoes and they forgot to pack my bacon bits, cheese, sour cream... which is essentially the "loaded" part. But food overall meets expectations.

Food was great! Drinks too! Unfortunately the service at the bar was not. Taylor was sweet and attentive to us since our initial bartender stopped serving us after she asked us what we wanted... no greeting, no good byes, no how is everything?, no can I get you anything else? No name tag ,surprise! Mature lady with windbreaker and curly hair in a loose bun and hoop earrings....just sit down , order and left us after that. We gave her a chance and asked her a question directly. She looked at us and went on doing something else. If you're not wanting your evening to be tainted try to avoid her.

Texas Roadhouse in Katy, Texas This place is my brother's go to steak restaurant in the whole State of Texas So you know he had to bring the family here and we all got together. I thought their menu was very unique and had a lot of good option. This is definitely the type of place you would bring your family and kids too. I ate a chicken salad and forgot to even take the picture cuz I was tearing it up lol . Now you have to be careful they be handing you these fresh rolls with the special cinnamon butter sauce you can get totally full just eating that and wind up having to take your food home for later. I'm back again. This time to redeem my cactus blossom. And it was good. Not greasy at all. The only thing was when you grabbed them, you got all batter and rarely got onion. You can see from the pics that mostly of the onion remained. The southern fried chicken I ordered with mushrooms and jack cheese had gravy so I sent it back and it came back out without gravy. All in all everything was good and Lynette gave us good service. It was also a little above average in noise but thats expected on a Saturday night.

Had been there is few times and this is probably the worst yet. Honestly, there is never anything wrong with the service. We always had a good time. The food on the other hand. Well, both my wife and I had two different steak. One ribeye (medium rare to rare) and one sirloin (medium rare). I really before they gave us the wrong steaks. Even through we did get the type of steaks we ordered. Both steak was overly cooked and way over salted. We didn't say anything was because we were on a very tight schedule, had to eat and run. But after we were done we had to drink cups and cups of water plus my tongue felt like it's been licking salts all day. Hope they improve on their steaks.

The food has big portions and if you order a steak you get two sides, which is nice. The service is a little slow but I came on a busy Sunday. The ambiance is loud and to be expected. Due to the fact that it was a Sunday in which everyone was out.

The rolls are sent from heaven. Service has always been great when I visit this location and the food is on point. I HIGHLY recommend the seasoned rice!! It's a shock how delicious it is.

This review is based on what happened today: I left work knowing the last time I ate at the Cyoress location, the grilled chicken Caesar was good and I wanted one. I don't live in Katy but I work nearby, so it was about 3 when I stopped. I looked at the sign and the hours were 11-10pm, but the door was locked. A worker came out and I asked, are you closed? He literally looked around, turned red like I caught him committing a crime, paused for several seconds and then said, they open at 4. I said, the sign says you're open now. He ignored me and walked off. Welp...I went to Becks Prime instead...

The place was great in everything, especially the peanut bags. The foods were excellent and the servers were wonderful. Will come back again in the future.

The price point for food here was awesome and definitely made us feel like portions were on point for the cost we paid. The again, were from California, so everywhere we go is a bit cheaper when it comes to expenses. The food was delicious and flavorful, presentation can be a bit nicer but I do believe this is a chain restaurant, so they're about quick service and turning tables. We had a table of 8 adults and 2 kids which can be a bit much and chaotic as our waiter had to take several orders in which there was a mistake made - my sister-in-law's meal was completely overlooked and never came out while everyone's meal came out. Other than that, our server corrected the mistake as soon as possible and there were no complaints thereafter. I would recommend getting on the wait-list as soon as possible as this place seems to get packed once doors open. Also, there are a lot of restaurants in this plaza, so parking can be a bit of a nightmare.

Can't beat a steak with 2 sides under $40. Everything was seasoned well. Service was great. I had Sébastien and he was very attentive. The only reason I'm giving this place less than 5 stars is due to the cleanliness. As the hostess sat me, she didn't check the table, and I had to ask for it to be cleaned. It looked like they hadn't cleaned it prior to seating me. Also the parking at this location is less than ideal.

Me and my Fiance went here. We got on the wait 5 minutes before we arrived, you get that option to get on that list if you go into the website and pick your location. We did not wait long because it was just us two but the larger parties were there waiting, and it was crowded once we arrived. The food was amazing I had the catfish, rice, and fresh veggies. Surprisingly, the fresh veggies and fried catfish was the best parts! The ambiance was lively but small and crowded. The service was great!

The shrimp starter is great. I prefer to call ahead to make sure prime rib is in house. Very busy but fast service. Make sure to make a reservation on the weekend.

There was literally a piece of METAL in a roll that I almost bit into, and the managers were trying to negotiate with me how much to take off of the tab ... actually embarrassing, the Health department needs to give this place an inspection.

I'm sorry but NO I have been to Texas road house 2 separate times and location but didn't have a good experience. Appetizer came out after our meal . Bake potato was cold . Waitress didn't attend us well at all . I like the food but just service sucks at both locations I have been too. I really think it's just the young kids they hire .

So on Nov 11, Veterans Day, I went to get a free coupon for a future dinner for my service in Vietnam. Well not so fast, I drive 15 miles, saw a looong line not near TR.. so i went around, some guy let me in the long line, how nice, then the traffic police woman screamed at me for cutting in the line. I did not cut.. SO TR, if its this hard to get a coupon .. KEEP IT.. i already have PTSD..

Honestly the staff were amazing, but the food was not. I got the "pulled pork"and it was just atrocious. Thank goodness my 4 your old niece can cook better than that. The fries were good though. So disappointed and will never go back again. Sorry staff you were amazing. Who puts cinnamon in butter? That's a damn war crime. This place has no gumption and I know for a fact Texans do not cook like that.

If you have allergies do not go there ! They just don't care about you! I order gluten free food and they got me bread!

This place is the definition of mediocre. I mean the food was fine. Overall it lacked flavor. I ordered the roadkill which is a hamburger steak with onions, mushrooms and cheese on top. Overall, this just lacked flavor. Same for the mashed potatoes. They were just okay. Not pictured was the cactus blossom which is their version of a blooming onion. That was delicious. Or server's name was Michael. He was very friendly and a great waiter. I had a margarita to drink which was too sweet. The best thing about this place is definitely the rules and butter.

The food was alright , my sister in law's salmon had a hair, wait time was ridiculous and our waiter was great. But one of the hostesses made faces every time we asked for anything. So yes the hostesses need to be patient with us if they want us to be patient with them. It took one hour to seat us and then halve an hour to get our food.

i got texas roadhouse for pick up, and received this, i ordered 2 medium rare steaks and received basically rare, i wish there was a way to receive credit for this or something because it's a waste.

We've visited this place several times, and the food consistently impresses. The steak is fantastic, appetizers are consistently delicious, and the rolls are always hot and exceptional. The atmosphere is family style. Very cozy and tight. The wait for the food can be a bit long due to their popularity, but I'll certainly be returning.

Food was cold. Wouldn't credit just wanted to reheat. Had to wait 10 minutes for bread. Haven't had such a bad experience in awhile.

I bring my grandson here and we both love it. He always gets the steak and ribs and I normally get a steak. Last visit I had a coupon for a free appetizer since it was my birthday, but it was left on the bill for me to pay. I should have checked the bill closer. Stopped in the next day and the manager said she would credit me the appetizer. Of course that never happened. Sorta sad they don't do as they say they will. I just think she did not want to be bothered. That aside, I will be back as the food is great.

Eh if it wasn't for the rolls I'd be annoyed. It took about an hour to get a table that said 30 minutes. Just to eat through two baskets of rolls before our drinks came. Cherries in the old fashion tasted horribly old. App pick 3 was below mid, server forgot to bring a refill of coke so another server did. Longest two hours and waste of $60

Very disappointed my family has been eating here for years & the hostess was rude,then we placed our order & we were forgotten & did not get our food for an hour. Seems like they just don't care anymore.

A little unorganized during peak hours, but understandable with the common understaffed issues nowadays. I have noticed the usually chicken fried steak that I always order, has been more on the salty side. I thought maybe it was a one off, but I've noticed this during my last 4/5 visits. The price is pretty reasonable to feed your family of four with $60-$70. Love that they always have the local Astros games on and the decor is on point with Texan dining.

I love Texas Roadhouse. We got seated pretty quickly even tho it looked extremely packed!! It was my 27th birthday on a Saturday so it was like everyone and their grandmama came that day! It was nuts!!! Food was great. Service was amazing! Food came out fast too! It was just a party of 4 but I did notice that larger parties were being split at two different tables (a couple reviews complained about that). They really don't have any wide table areas so it makes sense that parties of more than 6+ people would be split up. It's a heavy boothed kinda restaurant. Very maze like- cramped vibes so that's to be expected. Not too loud either. I could hear everyone at my table despite being there at a popular and busy time. I can understand some people's upset reviews but every's experience is different. We've also had bad experiences here as well (where we placed an order for pick up but waited in our car for 2 hours because apparently they forgot and they had to make it during a horrible busy time). Clearly that didn't stop us because we've been at this location several times

Thought I'd give this location another chance. Order NY strip to be cooked medium, steak was served rare. Wait staff does not make sure steaks are cooked to customer request. Had the seasoned rice and green beans both were over salted and not much else for flavor. Ice water was perfect cold and wet

Been to TX Roadhouse maybe 2-3 times including this most recent visit. It's your standard unassuming steakhouse with all the usual steak, chicken and fish offerings. Their rolls remain consistent and a hit with all.

Bad day for TRH! - Appetizer- we ordered cheese fries with a side of jalapeños. They came out with jalapeños on top so we sent them back. They thought it would be acceptable to take them back to the kitchen, pick the jalapeños off and send them back out. All of the seeds from the jalapeños were still all over the fries. It took 30 minutes to get a correct order of our appetizer. - Meal- overall the food was good but every person from our party was missing a side when it was brought out that we had to ask for. I should also note it took over an hour from when we sat down to get our food. - Service- overall pretty nonexistent. We had to ask for drink refills and silverware. The manager never stopped by our table even after our appetizer had to come out 3 times. We normally love this restaurant but today was a total miss. Leaving a review because it could have been a great experience if the staff put in just a little effort!

The Texas Roadhouse if you're eating after 9:00 over the weekend they stay open until 11:00pm. It's a country come as you are kind of atmosphere. They're very busy and have a 20 minute wait but it's really good food,drinks,service, and country music in the air restaurant. They sing happy birthday to you too if it's your birthday also. The honey butter and hot dinner rolls have an amazing flavor. We had a frozen margarita sangria with sugar on the rim of the glass. I had their fried fish, and shrimp Substituted the potatoes for steamed broccoli My date had Creole chicken with a loaded baked potato and extra broccoli. That dessert came in with the bang Strawberry Cheesecake with ice cream for him, and I had the Double chocolate brownie and ice cream which did not disappoint me at all. Needless to say, I'm not counting calories, but everything was delicious. It was also a great priced the whole bill came to 52.24 before the tip. Thank you for your wonderful service Fabrizio.

Ok I'm back. I had to come back. My coworkers took my food home and I just had to come back for another meal. I know, I know I'm a fatty to heart. But call me what you want, I'm must have my Texas Roadhouse Steak and ribs. A repeat meal just like a few days ago. Great service and nice atmosphere even when dining alone.

I come to Texas Roadhouse a lot but I always get the same thing. I went last week and ventured out to try something new and I was very disappointed. I ordered a full rack of ribs with a side of rice and Mac and cheese. If this wasn't the driest/non-tender rack of ribs I've had I don't know what is. When I say dry, I mean the outside of it was tough and dry. Once you got inside near the bone it was a litter better but still hard to enjoy because a lot of that meat was sitting on top of the bone. Also, the Mac and cheese was horrible! No flavor, no consistency, barely enough cheese on the noodles. I had to take it home and add more flavor and cheese myself just to tolerate it. The rice and rolls were good but thats about it. I guess next time I'll stick to what I usually get which is the Pork chops, shrimp or catfish.

Finn was awesome!! Really fast knowledgeable server. Medium rare prime rib was okay. I'd give it 2/5, the sides were basic. Drinks were decent. But server was fantastic

Food is really good but the waiting time is insane. No body wants to wait 45+ minutes or more for a table for 2...

Ribs were dry, order came out wrong, and food was salty. The bread was good tho. 2 stars

Wow. What a shocking letdown. As other recent reviews state the person running this needs to be fired. So poorly managed. This place is not up to the standards of Texas Roadhouse. Greeter - clueless, not a good start. The overwhelming smell of a filthy bar knocks you down as soon as you walk in. This is about as easy as it comes to manage. Probably short staffed as over half of the tables are open, no staff, meanwhile a ton of people sit outside waiting for a table.

Good Food. Very Friendly Service. Patriotic. Offer Military Discounts for the Members Bill only. Usually very crowded and sometimes very loud. Family Friendly. Not able to make reservations over the phone.

This has always been my favorite place... But Went for my birthday and very disappointed. I placed on app for waiting list. App said 20 minutes wait well no biggie why I place the wait. Drove 18 minutes from my house. Live 2 towns away just to come here. This was perfect time to get our food, eat and be in time for the theater for our movie. Arrived and they were busy as usual. Walked in and told be another 20 minutes. WTH.... The idiots I guess up top decided to take out the waiting area and place table and chairs which was blocked off. Now visualize about 2-3 dz ppl crowded in the entrance and out the doorways and strolling outside waiting for tables (note it was sprinkling too) Received the txt and we went to desk. Waited another minute or so when a guy took my information and said staff be right here. A young guy walked up to the desk and took the tickets. No hi no welcome no nothing just walked off. So little lost since he didn't even get the bread as they usually do. So we decided to follow him. He walked around and just laid the tickets on table and walked off... Waitress came right after and she was very nice and apologized for the rude kid. She took our orders. And was swift to take it to kitchen and back with our drinks. We got our salads 15 minutes later and explained we would now need our dinners to go.. we all 3 finished them. Still waiting for our main courses. And waited and waited. After 30 minutes we asked waitress how long for our dinner. We explained we have to be out the door in 1 Minute. She quickly went to find out. Another 5 to 10 minutes she brought the bag and our credit card. Rushing out now late for our already paid for movie and snacks. We was 10 minutes late driving into the parking lot because all the delays at the restaurant. Once we got home and able to eat our cold meals... there was no silverware, no butter for the potatoes, no bread. $65 meal for my birthday that was the worse ever. So I said this was my favorite place. Let's just say I maybe be looking for another steak place now. I gave 2 stars only because the waitress was so sweat and tried. Seriously you need waiting area for your customers. What is it with the rude kids seating you oh wait not seating you just placing tickets down and walking off. You can not tell me your that hard up for employees... TOO MANY PPL LOOKING FOR JOBS.

The cactus blossom as appetizer was great the whole family ate it including our 3 yr old really good, my wife and I got a Cesar salad and it was great we both loved it including the baby. My sister in law got the cup of chilli she said it was good. Steak was amazing! Kids chicken was good! And the service was amazing great family spot keep it up roadhouse. Love the music in the background and the environment and please don't ever stop serving the rolls simply amazing haha.

We always get Togo because we have a toddler. It gets really frustrating when every time we get food to go something is messed up, and the Togo staff is extremely rude and acts like we're lying. It's to the point I have to ask them not to walk away from the car before I check the food. I have never went without having something wrong or missing. Always forget ranch or butter for rolls, or they don't follow simple directions like no bacon on cheese fries. Togo please do better. We enjoy Texas road house but Togo is always ruining the experience

I have visited this spot before and it wasn't bad. We got a carry out and was extremely disappointed we ordered steaks medium rare and it was cook uneven. The 1st cut was rare then go into medium rare then we'll done. The side that was ordered was sweet potato and loaded fries with the other steak. We ordered 1/2 dozen of the rolls with the cinnamon butter. We were given 2 small containers. The drinks were suppose to be 2 20oz bottle of soda. We they brought the food the drinks were forgot. When I informed they they bring me 2 16oz drink still for the same rate of the bottles. When I asked if they have a larger size that is comparable to the bottle they were telling me it was free. It was because I was still charged. I would recommend to sit in instead of a carry out.

The service was bad we been waiting for 3 hours for a table for 14 and people who just came waiting for 15 minutes went before us and we been very mad.
