Texas Roadhouse

Server "Twin Britt" gave us less than stellar service. Whe started off with having to ask multiple times for silverware. It arrived in a cup. Then napkins was an Arduous task. Other patrons of the business received better and faster service than we got. It seemed to take longer to get a request filled. I know the place was busy at 4 o'clock. However, we were passed by multiple servers repeatedly with no service. My wife's order of ribs was drier than jerky. Then, the manager at the end offered to swap the ribs as we were getting ready to go. Use to enjoy this place... not so much anymore.

Food was excellent as always. Tasted great warmed up later. Server quit serving our table after we quit eating and asked for boxes. Didn’t offer dessert. No more drinks after we got our check and sat there talking for a few. Left dirty dishes and trash pile up on the table. Temperature was comfortable. Table, seating, and dishes appeared clean.

Always a great place to go. I've never had a bad streak here, or anything else for that matter. Plenty of parking too. I just wish they were open for lunch during the week at my location other than Fridays but I can understand why.

Very nice people friendly place to eat. The blummin onion was awesome, my boyfriend had not had one b fore. Also the cinnamon butter for the rolls.

Came to Texas Roadhouse to celebrate a birthday. Service by Lacie was amazing! She helped us celebrate in style, smiled all night, and checked in on us frequently. Food was delicious 😋 We came later in the evening and customer service did not miss a beat! The food was cooked beautifully and was piping HOT! THANK YOU for a wonderful experience.

Food was awesome great ribs, but I always ask for more sauce! Corn was fresh tasting, and hubby's burger was fantastic (he had been wanting a good burger) fresh were crisp. Service was just right! A little loud with birthday singing but otherwise good. The sweet potato was the best I've ever had, I want to know how they cook them, as it was AWESOME!

Lacie was amazing! Food was sooooo good. Even on prom night and busy our food was promt and hot 🔥 ❤️

Great place to eat and catch up with friends or even take the whole family out. Excellent food and great service!! Definitely recommend the grilled salmon.

The steak was cooked just as I requested and the sides come out fine also. The order was ready at the time I requested and the person helped me getting the order ready to go.

Decided to give TRH another try. Got the smothered chicken meal for carryout. I found the salad was still smaller than it used to be with less toppings. But the biggest complaint I have is the price. The price has rIsen from $9.99 before covid to a whopping $15.99 after covid. That is a 60% increase in price when inflation is at 2.9%. Plus they still charge extra for extra salad dressing and extra toppings on their salads. This is a prime example of pure corporate greed and I refuse to give them any more of my money. I won't be going back....Ever

Their salad is one of the best, their homemade blue cheese and croutons are incredible. The ribeye is nearly always cooked to temp, baked potatoes are hot, fluffy and yummy. Steak fries meh. Shrimp skewers no longer come on a skewer and are good but usually overcooked. Either way I still eat them. I'm a fan of the rolls but not the cinnamon butter. They have the best blackened grilled catfish around. I always get it when I dine in. You can't order it on line. In fact their app is very basic. It's difficult to order any extras, you have to call in. I wish they would fix that for sure. Overall a good meal for the price. YMMV.

We hadn't been at Texas Roadhouse for a while so decided to go. I didn't eat any of the rolls, which I know are delicious, but I really need to pass up all the carbs! I ordered the 3 medallion , a salad and gave into a plain baked potato. I'm sure they have better low carb choices but I always feel like it takes too long and my table was ordering! The steak was tender enough but no wow factor. I can season much better in my own cooking. The food was very bland. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful, so she got an A+ and a nice tip. I'd go back but I think I'd look at choices before going and do a better job ordering.

I was wondering why we, my wife and I, didn't frequent Texas Roadhouse that often, and then tonight I remembered! We went in for the meal, doesn't matter what we were getting, at least at the moment. It was clean outside and inside. Only waited about 10 minutes to be seated, not overly busy! They have started putting bags of peanuts in the small bucket, instead of filling bucket, which is actually better in my opinion. Waitress said she would be right with us, and that was only a couple of minutes. She took our drink order and I asked for couple minutes to decide what I was getting. She brought our drinks, non alcoholic, and we had decided on the potato skins for appetizer. My wife ordered the crispy chicken salad and I decided on the 6oz steak with salad and baked potato. Now we showed the waitress our veteran"free meal" coupons, and THAT is when it all went downhill! I got my salad in just a couple of minutes, snd then didn't see our waitress for about 10 minutes. She brought us our meals, but no appetizers! A manager stopped by to see if everything was ok and we told her about no appetizer, but that waitress was getting it. Still no refills on our drinks and we didn't see her again for another 10 minutes when she dropped off the appetizer, didn't ask if we needed anything else, just dropped off plate and left. When we saw her again , my wife wanted the special margarita, and waitress brought it over in less than five minutes. But we never saw her again! Why wife got a managers attention and told her our dilemma. She said she would get us our bill. Now remember, both of us were using "vouchers" for veterans "free meal" including drink. Manager said she was charging us for appetizer (will discuss that in due time) so bill should have been about $7.56 for the margarita and tax. Bill was $28 and change. They charged us for one of the meals and the drinks (included with meal). After correcting the total, my wife paid the bill, $5.36! Now for the potato skins, they tasted like someone put garlic on them, instead of a shredded cheese, they used sliced cheese which, naturally didn't melt and was sliding off of the potato! Overall only a 1 star out of five, but only because they don't give option of anything lower than 1. The service, quality and overall attentiveness is why we don't frequent Texas Roadhouse! Would I recommend it to friends, no, wouldn't even recommend to enemies! So I guess another restaurant hits the toilet!

Food was amazing the only bad part was the bread was a little cold but the waiters were really nice would recommended this place!

Best steaks in town. Really friendly waitresses and a manager usually stops by to say hello. It tends to be crowded but worth the wait.

Wait 50 minutes for a table. Wait an hour after ordering for cold steaks. Must be a problem that I don't understand. Thank you for embarrassing me with my out of town guests.

This location was packed on a cold Wednesday evening. Good food, good service and fun music. The fillet was a medium to medium rare (very tender), the baked potato was yummy and so was the broccoli. The rolls were a nice touch and warm welcome...soft, warm & served with cinnamon butter. Yum.

I found the food to be good. Steaks are very tasty and usually cooked to your liking. Service is always great. The serve staff really hustle. The is very noisy but hey what the heck it's a Texas Roadhouse!

This is one of my favorite places to visit when I want a delicious, succulent Ribeye steak. The salads and blooming onions rank high on my list likewise.

The food is great. Served hot.. rolls are delicious soft and buttery.. took a little bit to get the food but it was well worth the wait. Servers are polite and attentive. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and makes you feel comfortable.

The Texas Roadhouse salad with chicken is the best salad around. You can't beat the number of different toppings that come with the salad and you can't beat the price. Their ranch dressing is my favorite.

The steak was fair but they wouldn't allow me to have the size I wanted. I got steak fries with my meal and they were terrible, the first time in my life I got fries that were tough. I also got mushrooms and onions on my steak and they burned them. Don't have any complaints about the service, they were great. The place was busy as always.

The service was great, the food tasty as always. Ambiance was the normal Texas Roadhouse decor. This Texas Roadhouse was in Springfield, Ohio the Saturday before Mother's Day. It was hopping busy but only waited for a half hour.

Order on line, smokehouse burger with fries and a cactus blossom. Richelle got a ribeye, salad and rolls. Food is fabulous, it was ready on time, order was correct, cook exactly as ordered, and the pick up window is easy. I love that they have priority parking for military folks. We don't go here often, like once a year, I always think steak places are too expensive, but when we do go here we have never had bad service or food.

This place used to be great. Went on 11/5/23. Waitress came and took drink orders quickly. We waited about 15 minutes after that for her to take our order. Took approximately 30 minutes for the food to come out. Catfish was lukewarm warm and dried out like it had been sitting under a heating lamp for 15 minutes. Won't be back.

All I can say is Wow! This is my second time here my friend and I sat at the Bar we didn't have to wait as long. We both ordered the 20oz Ribeye steak bone in. We ordered our steak medium rare and it came out perfect. Tracy was outstanding as well she kept us well stocked up. Can't wait to come back again.

Service was great. Servers were very helpful. However the beef tips were very tough and hard to chew. Salads and roll were delicious. We will go back maybe they were just having a bad day.

my wife and I went to Texas roadhouse and were told the wait was about 45 minutes. We were asked to wait outside so we went to her car and waited for 40 minutes. Went back inside to use the restrooms. There's a whole big crowd in the lobby and the young man behind the desk asked if we had been paged to come in. We said no he told us we had to wait outside. I told him my wife was cold. We waited 40 minutes he told us wait outside or you will not be served. This is an 18 to 20 year old kid speaking to a man and wife who are in their 60s and regulars this restaurant. We left. Call back ask for the manager. She gave her name is Marie to be kind I would say she was less than sympathetic. 043 children and run my own business for seven years. I would never treat a customer like that and wouldn't tolerate it from my employees.

They can not get steaks right. They are always overcooked It's been an hour and 15 minutes and we are still waiting for our steaks to come out right! If streaks are not done right there should not be this long of a wait to get new steaks! So upsetting!!! And, this has happened before but this is the worst. The manager on duty seems NOT to even care!!! The waiter is good and he is very apologetic! The kitchen & management leaves much to be desired. On a positive note, after a two hour dinner, our two meals were comped.

Always the best service... very good food... loving the yeast rolls! Great atmosphere, as always.

Tony and I was going to go to the Roosters next door but it being Labor Day apparently Roosters closes for that holiday!!! So we went to the Texas Roadhouse and we were very happy that we did. We had to wait a small amount of time about 15-20 minutes, then we were seated clear in the back. Now this would have been understandable if there wasn't so many empty tables. In fact there were more empty than seated and quite a few still waiting behind us. Apparently they were extremely short staffed. Tony ordered a draft Budweiser and I ordered a Pepsi while we looked over the menu. The waiter came back and said sorry it took so long on your drinks but the bar had to change out the keg. Apparently they gave him the bottom of the keg because it was extremely flat. I told the waiter and he just sort of shrugged it off and walked away so I grabbed another waitress and told her I NEED YOUR MANAGER the manager came pretty quick and she was very apologetic and walked away with the flat beer. Within a few minutes a very unhappy waiter returned with the replacement beer. We ordered our food, Tony went with the 8oz Sirloin and Shrimp with loaded baked potato and mac n' cheese and I went with the Steak Kebobs with side of rice and veggies. OMG the food was amazing! The kitchen staff were on top of things and the food was fab..I will definitely go back here again and highly recommend to any and all!!! The food here was truly amazing and I couldn't finish everything on my plate and we were so far from the hotel that I had to leave it behind. Great food and after the beer issue, great service. Ticket with tips and taxes was under $50 and highly highly recommend!!

The good: Both Jeffs working on the evening of 9/26/19 were GREAT! One of them took my order right away, had my soda in front of me right away, and when Jeff saw me picking my tomatoes & croutons off of my side salad, he asked if he misheard my order, which he did not. I rarely mention withholding salad toppings when I order. Both Jeffs check on me regularly, even though the bar was quite busy. Thanks Jeffs The BAD: As I take a seat at the bar, to my left is a couple of gals (1 blonde, 1 brunette), finishing a round of margaritas. They seem to either be off-duty employees, and/or know all the staff. They disdainfully gossip about their coworkers, pointing and making fun of many female employees. Once in a while, a coworker walks up and they completely change their tone until one of many walk back to work. More margaritas flow as they brag about how they "DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT... (countless) things... and the guy who is buying them margaritas. Their attitude gave stark indication of a toxic workplace that they happily feed the flames of. Simply sad.

I've been to this location on 3 occasions. Twice I ordered their biggest sirloin cooked medium rare on each trip. Both times the steak was cooked PERFECTLY. Normally, I am used to sending my steaks back to the kitchen for being overcooked. The third occasion I got my favorite cut of meat in the world, a thick and juicy piece of prime rib. The prime rib was the best I have had in years, no joke. The kitchen at this location has been so on point. The service is also fantastic. The front of house staff is personable, friendly, and make each visit better and better.

The fact that Texas Roadhouse doesn't have an ID scanner is ridiculous.. My party of five had dinner there tonight and we all ordered alcoholic drinks. I am 26 years old but because my ID was from out of state, they understandably wanted to double check to make sure it wasn't fake - there is a college near by. I showed my insurance card, AAA card, and debit card, all with the same name, and after AN HOUR went by and the rest of my party finished their drinks and we ordered food, the manager rudely told me they would not serve me and that I was lucky they didn't confiscate my (legitimate!) driver's license... After we said we understood that she didn't want to get fined, she wouldn't even give me a free fountain soda that would basically cost the restaurant nothing. Terrible customer service. All Texas Roadhouse (a fairly big chain) would need to do is get an ID scanner, instead of using an outdated book with clearly wrong information, and taking AN HOUR - causing all of this unnecessary drama and back-and-forth.

Me and my wife went for a late lunch on a Sunday . Place was pretty packed and usually is no matter what day or the time of day . We were sat around 1 pm . It took awhile to get our food around 1 hour . I had ordered a 20 ounce Ribeye and wife ordered boneless wings . When I finally received some of my food steak and baked potato the food was barely warm (room temperature) . My wife's food was also room temperature. The steak ended up being rare ( i ordered medium) and cook left out the mushrooms on the steak . So I sent steak back . I also noticed my second side was not brought out (bowl of chili) so I told my waitress and she brought out my chili. 30 minutes later still no steak . When I finally did get my steak it was well done and a smaller steak , not the same steak . I finally told waitress to forget about the steak since my wife was done eating . This place used to be a great place to eat and get a good steak . Hopefully this was just a fluke . We finally left after 1 hour 45 minutes . Most of the time was waiting for our food .

This is one of my younger brother's favorite places to entertain put of state guests. I've been here a number of times with him.. Today I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. I requested my fries well done. That didn't happen. My fries were warm at best.They tasted ok. I suspect my server got confused and told cook I wanted my pulled pork well done. Not a problem I got confused at tip time. My pulled pork sandwhich was rather plain. VERRY plain. So plain I had to ask for barbeque sauce. So plain I felt a discussion with the manager was needed. She was in NO way was to sell me coleslaw. My big concern was my inability to articulate the fact that the coleslaw should have been on the sandwich when it arrived to me. At $8.99 for the small sandwich and small fries I felt coleslaw was in order. In retrospect if I wasn't pinching pennies I'd have been much happier had I ordered a steak baked potato..The night I visited was on Monday. It was really packed. The server did a reasonably job of keeping drinks filled .

We went here after the viewing for my father. There was 9 of us. When we checked in they asked if we had any special requests. I said, "hot food and a good waitress." I will be honest, I really didn't have the patience for a lazy person. Wow, were we amazed at the young lady who waited our table. She was the best. She was quick, attentive and friendly. The food was hot and correct. What more can you ask for.

Once again we deliberately went to have prime rib and the manager doesn't know how to make enough to last an entire evening. My steak was rare and I ordered medium. We won't be going back.

For a chain restaurant they have FANTASTIC steaks!! Always a long wait but you can call ahead. The peanuts on the floor can be a little annoying. But overall a good chain restaurant.

Everything I've eaten here has been delicious from the chopped steak to the smokehouse burger. We order from here a lot!! Good food, decent prices. I would recommend.

Went there to surprise my husband for his birthday yesterday..he loves their steaks.. I am crazy about their ribs. Still my fave place to eat. You have to try it...you will get hooked as well. Enjoy!!!

Would be fine if you're a group of 2 on a Thursday night. But if you're a group of 10 that calls 2 days ahead and they tell you that's fine and you will be seated at 6 o'clock, don't expect to be seated until at least 8 or 8:30. Management is a joke and doesn't even know how to tell time.

Had lunch here today. Not the best... had the 6oz sirloin/BBQ chicken (no bbq sauce) combo with green beans. The sirloin was "dry", not juicy at all. Chicken and the green beans were fine, but I wish I had gotten the bbq sauce on my chicken.

This location claims to be COVID friendly with social distancing in place, but when I went January 8, 2021 they were fully packed. Very dissatisfied

My wife and I love Texas Roadhouse. We have always had great food and excellent service. I love 10oz Ft Worth Ribeye, Caesar salad, Sweet potato. I may need to start with dessert first because I am full and never get that far. Reading some of these reviews it seems many are giving low ratings for very unusual circumstances that no restaurant could accommodate. Nonetheless, we highly recommend this location. My job allows me to travel throughout North and South America. I know what makes restaurants great.

The rolls and cinnamon butter alone are worth the four stars. Saturday night, completely jam packed, we're out of town visitors, 50-minute wait, cool. Sit down, drinks, bread and butter -again, yum- friendly server. Our entrees took 45 minutes. We were talking so we didn't really notice how long it was. Server came over and apologized, said he would go and check to see what was going on. Then our food came out, brought to us by the manager. She apologized profusely, ticket machine error and said she would take the meals off of our bill. I had the pulled pork dinner with steak fries and it was good. Others ordered grilled chicken salad and wings. Our check, which should have been $45, was $9. Things happen, it was a mistake. The server was apologetic. The manager was apologetic and did what she could to make our night better.

So I'm not a big fan of chain restaurants, but every now and then, I end up in one. I have to say, Texas Roadhouse has to be one of my favorite chain places. The rolls they bring out with the cinnamon butter- OMG! I almost always get the chicken critter salad and it's massive and delicious! I can never finish it (because I usually have had too many rolls). My husband swears by their ribs. Surprisingly, they are full of flavor and fall off the bone good. I've heard him recommend them to several people.

I've eaten here a handful of times over the years, and I must say that this Texas Roadhouse just keeps getting worse and worse. Last time we visited was the day before Christmas Eve since I was craving some beef. I ordered the filet mignon medallions with rice pilaf and veggies on the side. My "filet" was chewy like shoe leather even though it looked medium (pink) in the middle, and there was no touch of salt or pepper AT ALL on this meat. No flavor, just 3 chewy chunks that were totally inedible. My rice was super sticky and again flavorless, and my veggies came out 5 minutes after my meal in a drinking cup full of hot water at the bottom. Service was slow and unfriendly and once our meals were delivered we never seen our waitress again until she brought the bill 30 minutes later. My husband ordered the country fried steak which looked like it came from KFC: everything had obviously been frozen and the gravy was all gelled up on the meat and potatoes with that "pudding skin" on top. An absolutely disgusting visit and needless to say we will never be going back to this Texas Roadhouse in Springfield. Never!

Brought our team here on a road trip. We had 20 people in our party, literally every restaurant in America takes a pre order, except this Texas Roadhouse. So they made our assistant coach come in a half hour early, still would not put our order in. Once our team was seated they still refused to put in our pre order which was completely typed up and had all 20 orders ready to go. The attitudes of the workers was terrible, they talked down to us the entire time. This will be the last time we ever take our team to a Texas Roadhouse.

Texas Roadhouse is currently our favorite chain. We don't go out to eat too often, but this is usually our first choice (unless there's a great local favorite). We went to this particular location while in town visiting family. This location is in the shopping area of town. All down the road are the chain stores and restaurants. It's convenient in that sense, and not too far from down-town. The place was fairly busy for a Thursday night, but our group of 6 was seated pretty quickly. Our waitress was friendly and took good care of us the entire time. I didn't see much of a difference between this location and the one we go to on our home town. Decor and music was the same, food consistently good, and service prompt and friendly. Those who ordered steaks found them satisfying. For the others who did not, meals were all good. The cactus blossom was excellent, and is best for larger groups like ours (it's huge!). What I like best about Texas Roadhouse in general is how much of the stuff they make in-house. Most of their sauces are made there, rolls made from scratch, and most steaks cut in-house. Sure, you may still get a tough steak sometime, but that can happen anywhere. I usually get ribs and they are pretty darn tasty!

Delicious food and margaritas!!! Staff was friendly and prompt, even during peak hours! All kinds of safety measurements taken for covid. 20/10 would recommend and come back again!

So the food here is pretty good and the appetizers are amazing. But the service here was shit. I had to wait 20 minutes just to get a table . Once I got my table the guy came pretty fast and asked me what I wanted to drink. After what he gave me my drink he took my order and I got my appetizer. But it took 15 minutes to get my appetizer. And then 10 more minutes to get my food. My food was off-brand. And my friend wanted a refill and then the waiter said "another coke? Or was it Dr Pepper" when it was root beer. Besides that the waiter was on something and the service was bad it was alright I think it would be better next time but this time it was meh.

Steak was over cooked but tasted ok. Ask for real butter, not cinnamon for rolls but did not get. Ask the 3rd time for rolls & real butter and finally got, would have been better to had with our food.

We had the bone in ribeye and new york strip with mushrooms and onions on top. Cooked medium rare, it was tender and juicy, cooked just right. The nuts and rolls were amazing and service was superb! They were serving us non stop and attending to our needs like they would at a fine dining restaurant. I will definitely go back!

What kind of self respecting chain doesn't offer wifi to their customers? Waitress says it's a 'secret'. So I say why bother supporting the place? btw I did eat the half rack of ribs which are very flavorful and tender, unfortunately they were barely above room temperature. :( lots of good options near by. Choose one.
