A memorable night filled with great food and drinks. Staff were friendly and helpful, we originally booked 8:00pm dinner but arrived at 6:00pm, floor manager was able to secure a table with nice view of the water. Each dish was tasty and presented well with a great wine selection. It was my partner birthday but I didn’t bring cake, staff was so helpful, organising a cake with sparkles that made the night even more special.

Google
Yes. Excellent highly recommended. Restaurant met all marks for service presentation and taste. We started with a bottle of wine, the soft shell crabs and both had the catch of the day. Snapper grilled. Excellent unlike the snapper from Florida the taste was fantastic. Only regret is we weren’t hungry enough for more seafood. Will be back.

Google
This place has great food and I thoroughly enjoyed my meals. They were so tasty and the fish was clearly very fresh and delicious. Would recommend this place for dinner by the water!

Google
The flavors were completely off bland, uninspired, and lacking the depth that makes Thai cuisine so incredible. Instead of the perfect balance of sweet, sour, spicy, and savory, the dishes tasted watered-down and generic, like they were made without any real understanding of Thai cooking. To make things worse, the portions were ridiculously small for the price. Some ingredients were undercooked, others overdone, making the textures just as disappointing as the taste. For someone who has lived in Thailand, this would be mega disappointing. It lacks everything that makes Thai food special no authentic flavors, no proper cooking techniques, and no respect for the cuisine. If you’re looking for real Thai food, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This place is not it.

Google
LOVED MY coral trout!! It was Awesome!! All staff was so friendly. They helped me choose the perfect meal and my partner who loves spice was not disappointed in his choice either!! He had spicy pork belly and prawns.

Google
We arrived and had to wait about 5mins before anyone even made eye contact with us. Seated about 5mins later since we made a reservation. Food was good but definitely overpriced. We had 3 people and ordered 2 mains and 2 sides. The sides were delicious and we really enjoyed the soft shell crab and seaweed gnocchi. The mains were good for sharing for 2 people max as it wasn't enough for 3 of us. Mains were kind of disappointing as they're quite oily - we had the seafood paella and Morton bay bug and pasta with roasted pumpkins. Drinks were nice.

Came here for an evening meal recently and enjoyed it. Had the seafood platter and the snapper with romesco sauce. The platter was good but not excellent. Some of the prawns were incredibly overcooked and the mussels had zero flavour. Other elements like the fishcake and bay bugs were better though. The snapper was excellent though and was very well balanced. Staff were attentive and friendly.

Google
Booked a table at 19:15, arrived at 19:00 and got the reserved table for two straightaway. Very good menu for seafood lover, we had 4 different oysters as starters, coral trout and barramundi for main course. The guy who served us recommend the Sheldon’s curry spiced option for the barramundi which is great, love the watermelon idea. Also good wine selection, service is friendly and professional. One of the most popular restaurant in Carins so would recommend to book a table in advance. Very pleasant experience.

Yelp
Saw the amazing reviews and had to visit. But it was kind of a disappointment. We had the seafood paella, calamari and red snapper fish n chips. The calamari was soft, which is not a good thing for fried and freshness. The red snapper fish n chip needed a tartare sauce, it was kind of bland. The paella was ok but three of us ordered it and we all had multiple mussel that did not open.... The shrimp inside was ok. The paella is also more dry and the rice itself was tasty. Service was good, waiters are attentive and the restaurant had a nice view of the harbor. But otherwise don't recommend!

Winnie L.

Yelp
A solid 3.5 stars overall. My daughter and I shared the seafood paella and the octopus appetizer and my husband had the seafood platter for 1 with small salad and fries added on. The octopus was amazing but the paella was a bit too mushy. Tasted more like a risotto. The seafood platter was fairly good size and had a good variety of seafood. Most seafood was done really well except for the fish which was overcooked. The fries were excellent and the salad was decent. Service was efficient and very friendly.

Kelly E.

Yelp
Lovely wait staff from around the world. The food was delicious. We had the scallops as an entree/appetizer, and the main we had trout and barramundi. Great cocktails and beautiful view.

Henry C.

Yelp
Our waiter was friendly and helped thoroughly explain the menu. We wanted to try coral trout and he recommended the baked style. He explained that coral trout is a delicate fish with a mild taste so we don't want to overpower the fish with too much seasoning. Thus, baking it will highlight the fish best. I agree and the coral trout was fresh, and delicious! There's a hint of citrus and the natural sweetness of the fish comes through. The seafood paella was good, but also not the best I've had. Not much to say, just didn't blow me away. The squid ink ravioli was a little disappointing. The ravioli fell apart and the sauce, ravioli, and seafood filling had the same texture which made it a little off putting.

Chuck M.

Yelp
The only reason I am giving such a low rating is because wenwent there and they were close. Turns out they closed every Monday and Tuesday. As a result I never got try their food. Too bad because their menu looked terrific

Nick D.

Yelp
Indoor outdoor seating. Great seafood. Quick service. Lots of other food options around the harbor

Sunny S.

Yelp
Great ambience, food and service. Fusion Thai seafood place. Located in front of the beautiful marina. We had plenty of food to eat. On the expensive side, but good for special occasion. If I were to go again, I may order couple appetizers, drinks, and 1 main dish to share, so I can try different flavors.

Kiran K.

Yelp
Nice location, but poor food. The dishes were poorly prepared and tasteless. The fish was hard and tasteless. No salt or flavor. Cannot recommend the restaurant.

John F.

Yelp
Great food at a super reasonable price. The bowls are large and the veggies are fresh.

Reba J.

Yelp
Stopped in after a Great Barrier Reef cruise The restaurant does not open until 530. We ordered a few cocktails to enjoy view of harbor. Balcony setting was perfect atmosphere. Seared scallops were tasty. The whole fried fish was an overwhelming hit. The coral trout was delicious. Tha Fish did not disappoint and we highly recommend.

CJ H.

Yelp
Had dinner there last night, and the service was very good. Nice variety of wines. The coral trout "your way" (we chose preparation selection 4 at the recommendation of our server) was excellent. My husband and I are not big eaters and sharing a starter and that main dish was plenty of food.

Ryushi S.

Yelp
Superb Seafood and amazing staffs! Everyone at the restaurant is really passionate and gives really good recommendations, my favorite is seafood platter, softshell crab gnocchi and the custom made trout. The Japanese guy and the reception guy there really made our dinners special, went there for two days in a row.

Katie P.

Yelp
BEWARE OF THE SEAFOOD PLATTER. I don't know how this place gets positive reviews so I don't want anyone to be misled!!! It was not fresh!!! My friend seriously considered throwing up so she wouldn't risk getting sick. I also told the waiter that the crab legs were mushy and he said the inside was meant to be softer than the shell... like OBVIOUSLY, but it is not meant to be mushy (like mashed potato). The oysters were disgusting, tasted fishy (which again means not fresh) the prawns were overcooked (dry) and for $140 AUD was overpriced. Extremely disappointed, they didn't even reduce the bill after I told them it wasn't good. Staff was friendly, and our drinks were good but the bad bad seafood platter overshadowed everything, will never recommend or go back.

Stuart M.

Yelp
Our starter was the rocket (arugula) salad. It included pear, and feta. The ingredients were fresh, and I was pleased that the feta was not too salty. My wife had golden trout. It had to slight crunch to it, with delicate, moist flesh. Potatoes and asparagus in a beurre Blanc rounded out the dish. My choice was the barramundi. It was perfection. Light, moist, delicate meat that went well with a feta risotto. Yabby halves completed the dish. They are in the crayfish family. I didn't feel that they contributed much flavor, although they had a nice look. Still, the meal had few flaws, and a lot of memorable aspects. You won't go wrong eating here.

Lindsey O.

Yelp
Loved Tha Fish!! So tasty. I had the barramundi champagne battered and it came with a side of sweet potato fries and a salad. The fish was delicious and well made, the sweet potato fries were great, and I loved the salad - arugula with goat cheese, prosciutto, walnuts, and grilled peaches. So so good! There was also a delicious pesto sauce on the side for the fish. For dessert I got the panna cotta which I HIGHLY recommend. It was a vanilla panna cotta with a beetroot sorbet, blood orange glaze, and peppered granola. Such odd flavors you'd never think to combine but it was FANTASTIC. An absolute must. Service was terrific. I swear they refilled my water every 2 minutes lol, but I was parched and chug a luggin. Multiple servers checked on me and all were so friendly. Great experience.

Ronald E.

Yelp
My Barramundi was quite nicely grilled but pretty much across the board the food lacked seasoning - it was plated attractively and delivered by an excellent "wait staff". Food was unfortunately a little bland. My expectations are always to dive deep into the spices and seasonings of the local areas and this restaurant unfortunately fell short against these desires

Steven A.

Yelp
We highly recommend this restaurant. The seafood was amazing! We had a 1 kilo bay bug, red emperor and yabbies. All were perfectly cooked. They were so good they didn't need the incredible house made sauces that accompanied the bay bug. The coconut sauce was definitely a unique find. We even asked for the recipe! Service was spectacular. It was not rushed or hurried. We had a lovely evening. A definite must dine while in Cairns.

Ed S.

Yelp
Doesn't seem to be open anymore. Stopped by at 6:15 and lights are off, doors are closed up.

Yelp
We had one more dinner in Cairns and while we enjoyed the food stands in the Night Market, we wanted to find a place where we could sit down and enjoy a coursed out meal. Tha Fish had been recommended by multiple websites online so we decided to check out the local seafood. We made a reservation online without difficulty. In fact, we arrived a little early and got seated right away. Despite being accused of making a reservation for fewer people than what we actually had (I have a reservation confirmation to confirm that I made a booking for the correct number of people!), we were seated anyways. Why the fuss then? There is no true indoor seating as the entire restaurant is open with a bar in the back. Most people chose to sit outside closest to the pier. Just be careful because around 8pm the mosquitos come out and you can get bit pretty bad. We started with oysters which were delicious. We added on some duck gyozas (dumplings) which were ok. Dinner main courses were delicious however and made up for any issues that we encountered before that course! We had the Moreton Bay Bugs which were grilled and served on flat rice noodles in a stirfry fashion. We also had the special for the day which was a whole Barramundi grilled lightly seasoned with spices. I really try to get Barramundi wherever I go and this was really nicely done. We didn't have the patience to wait for dessert here as we were getting bit by mosquitos. Instead we headed down to the Night Markets for ice cream. All in all a decent place, but I saw plenty of other seafood establishments along the pier that were mentioned at all online. I think most people just walk around there and find a place to eat. There were a couple of "boat" restaurants serving fresh catch along the pier. I'd be interested in checking those out. However if you want to make sure you have a guaranteed seat somewhere, Tha Fish is decent place to find yourself!

Yelp
A trendy and contemporary seafood restaurant facing the harbor. Don't be tricked by its business hour on yelp (6pm). We were seated around 5:40, and the restaurant was apparently already in operation. Tourists coming back from the tours or staying in the hotel upstairs started to fill up the restaurant quite fast after 6:30. We ordered crab bruschetta as the starter; trout, red emperor, and, barramundi in 3 different cooking styles along with a seafood platter. Overall, I had to say that the food was beyond our expectation. Tho not being a marine expert, I couldn't really tell the differences among the 3 kinds of fish we ordered with respect to their features and flavors, but they were all quite delicious no matter pan-seared or baked. All had crispy skins and tender meat. Freshness could also be easily told. Crab bruschetta, recommended by a number of viewers on yelp, was a bit over-rated. The combination of avocado and crab meat was a bit too bland. Some more balsamic vinegar would have added more flavors. The seafood platter included a varying array of seafood. All tasted fresh and delicious. I particularly liked the oysters and salmon. If you're not restraint on ur budget, I would definitely recommend to give this restaurant a try.

Yelp
I was looking for a place to dine yesterday. I wanted a place where I was served...not a place where I had to fend for myself (as is common in many restaurants on the pier--order at the bar and grab food when the pager goes off). I also wanted a peaceful dinner. So, per the suggestion of a local, I went to Tha Fish. While the prices were a little higher I was SO GLAD I did go. The staff were friendly, the drinks were DELICIOUS, and the fish was exquisite (I had the red emperor fish). I was a bit relieved to find this crowd was a bit more mature and quiet. My dinner was quite peaceful and enjoyable. If you want a quiet, relaxing, exquisite dinner on the pier then you must try this place.

Yelp
Tha Fish was probably the best meal I had in Cairns, if not my entire Australia trip. It's located right by the marina so you get somewhat of a view. While researching food spots prior to my vacation, I already had a whole list of seafood that I wanted to try. So when I saw that Tha Fish had a platter with a sample of a large chunk of my list, I knew we had to come here. 'Tha Fish' Seafood Plate ($65) included tiger prawns, Moreton Bay bugs, barramundi, red claw yabbies, calamari, and scallops on the half shell. It says it's for one person but we split it amongst three people, since we just wanted to try a little bit of everything. For my entree, I went with the saddle tail snapper ($35). For their fish list, there are a few options you can choose from for how you want them to cook it. Mine came with three mussels and it was cooked in some kind of citrus-y sauce, garnished with a few slices of mandarin oranges. I normally don't like fruit in my food but the oranges worked really well with the fish. For drinks, I had their 'Tha Fish house cabernet' ($6) and it wasn't bad. Plus, they give some pretty hearty pours! Yes, I know I should have had white with seafood, but I'm just not a fan of white. They have a couple of house white wines too though, if you're interested. But if you're looking to try Aussie wines from different regions, they have a pretty extensive and reasonably-priced wine list. If you want fresh, local seafood, then you MUST come to this place!

Tzarina W.

Yelp
If I lived here I'd be a frequent! Barramundi is a common fish in Australia so what better than eating what the locals eat? Two items to note: 1. Champagne battered barramundi over a handful of chips (aka fries) with a side English spinach salad and drizzled lime aioli was superb! $34.9 AUD. If you know anything about breaded fish in the USA in my experience it's mostly breaded so thick that the fish component is lost. Tha Fish knows how to lightly batter the barramundi to such an addicting habit. 2. Seafood Platter for One $65AUD. This is a galore for the seafood lovers: Alaskan King Crab leg, herb smoked salmon, chilled oysters, chargrilled moreton bay bugs, pan seared barramundi, tiger prawns, Tha fish cakes, fried calamari, baked red claw tabbies, scallops in a half shell, and dipping sauces (sweet coconut pickle, lemon pepper, lime aioli, and nuoc cham- similar to a sweet Thai chili sauce). I really liked the coconut pickle sauce to pair with many of the seafood items. Service was really good until the busy crowd sat down. This is a place not to be missed!

David W.

Yelp
Arrived in Cairns via cruise ship and just wanted some decent food.... We weren't happy w/ what we were getting on board. What an amazing lunch! The service was great and they even had some decent craft beer selections to choose from. I highly recommend the "fish anti pasta for two". Although they have it more as a meal, I would look at as a heavy appetizer for two. Thanks for making my one afternoon in Cairns memorable!

Simon H.

Yelp
Despite how sad the shopping centre is, there is a few reasons to visit this area...the view over the marina and the myrid of restaurants. We stumbled in based on the view and the $25 lunch special (pasta and wine)! I of course chose the barramundi which wasn't on the specials list, however the benefit was the barra was on the alt lunch special list where you chose how your fish was cooked from 5 options. Baked with asparagus and potatoes was my preference...I wasn't disappointed.

Brian L.

Yelp
Tha fish lived up to it's rating for me. The crab brushetta was a light appetizer. I really enjoyed the Cajun barramundi savouring every bite. Definitely would visit again.

Phenenna T.

Yelp
We had dinner here on our first night in Cairns. We were Very pleased with our meal and the service (shout out to Kevin, Bondy and Nobby -- well done, guys!!) that we came back for lunch three days later. We love seafood -- the Thai curry mussels, soft shell crab, fish lunch special and tiger prawns were all delish! But what we love the most was the dessert special at dinner: bush lemon tart with gin gelato. Simply exquisite! And of course, the awesome service. The guys made us feel welcome, relaxed/no rush (Cairns is a very laid back town after all), very attentive and didn't oversell anything. In fact when I mentioned to Kevin that we don't eat much he made sure that we got the entree size, not main. And it was the right size portion! (Yep, in the US "entree" and "main" dishes mean the same thing. Not here.) We dined at other places nearby (Dundee's, The Salt House), and I will say that hands down, Tha Fish is the best. And in comparison their prices, including cocktails and wine, are better too. When you happen to visit Cairns I highly recommend that you experience awesome dining and service at Tha Fish.

Yellowbag T.

Yelp
Fresh seafood with local flare. I ordered the chili barramundi and the scallops appetizer. The scallop dish was tiny and not worth the price (three very small scallops). But they were flavorful. The filet was whole and seasoned perfectly. I highly recommend It. My dining companions enjoyed the bug appetizers. Great wine selection.

Alexa J.

Yelp
We made reservations, but there was not a table available for us when we arrived so we had to sit at the bar until a table opened (not a big deal). We started with the crab bruschetta which was delicious. For dinner I had Tha Fish Paella and it was phenomenal. My boyfriend had the red emperor cooked with the mushrooms. His was not very good and it really lacked any flavor. Actually we ended up mixing some of my food with his so it tasted like something. My biggest disappointment however is that you cannot take your leftovers with you. If I pay $120 on a meal, I should be able to take what I don't eat home with me.

Shalin S.

Yelp
The food was very tasty. I ordered Red Emporer fish cooked in coconut and macadamia nuts.

Helen H.

Yelp
Mm this place is delicious. Crab bruschetta was so delicious. Loved the capers in them. I got the squid ink pasta with crunch crab on top. Sooo delicious. Hubby got the curry golden salmon. Very delicious.

Claire P.

Yelp
Great restaurant. The food is delicious. We order everything straight away (cocktails, entrees, mains and wine) and got the entrees before the cocktails and the mains while we were still eating the entrees ... that was a shame but otherwise very nice food, the staff is very friendly and the food is very nice presented on the plates ! The atmosphere is nice as well !

Dennis S.

Yelp
Excellent harbour-side restaurant. We had a great bottle of Aussie wine and a platter of seafood to share for lunch, with a relaxing marina view. Nice attentive service. The seafood platter was "Tha Fish antipasto for 2" - braised octopus, crusted yabbies, chilled tiger prawns, pork belly, prosciutto, chorizo, fetta, sun dried tomatoes, olives, and grilled bread. More than we could finish. Only disappointment was that the barramundi was farm raised, so I passed on it. In Queensland I was hoping for wild barramundi.

Nick J.

Yelp
It took a little more time to find this spot, but it is worthy. We order the oyster, fish&chip and seafood plate. Oyster is just so so, but fresh enough. Seafood plate is GREAT, everything is perfect, only problem is you don't know start with what. Fish and chip also good to try, very big portion.

Amy D.

Yelp
Fairly average seafood, not worth the price. We had friend tamarind barramundi and another fish (white, flaky) in coconut batter with chips. The batter was undercooked and the barramundi needed 3x the sauce. Service was pretty slow. Our waitress didn't know much about the dishes we were interested in and it took about half an hour to get refill of waters and our check despite repeated asking. The food wasn't terrible, but it's hard to recommend.

Donald M.

Yelp
Outstanding service and food. I arrived with no reservation and asked if they could sneak me in - the host asked if I was OK sitting at the bar. Before I was through with my G&T he came up to me and told me they'd managed to find a table. I was seated with a view of the water. Ordered the baked fish which was cooked to perfection. Nicely caramelized, but still succulent and packed with flavor. I'd make this my first dinner out if back in Cairns, but next time I will call in and book.

Trevor O.

Yelp
Tha fish is a quality seafood restaurant, meals are well served and presented. You will not be disappointed with the size of the portions as we left feeling satisfied. The service was fantastic and the wait staff new when to be there and were unassuming. Will eat here again.

Bruce M.

Yelp
She had emperor fish, I had snapper, both baked with asparagus, pea-pods and potatoes. Very fresh. Excellent service. We'll be back!

Michelle H.

Yelp
Just putting it out there- Tha Fish has to be the most consistent restaurant in Cairns. Where many others seem to have 'bad days' or don't deliver amazing food on every visit, in our experience Tha Fish is always on point. A lazy, sunny Saturday afternoon was the perfect occasion to spend a few hours relaxing and eating delicious, quality seafood in this picturesque setting. We will start with service, welcoming as always, and not pushy. We asked to be seated in the coolest part of the deck and our friendly waiter put the ceiling fan on for us without even thinking twice. We were planning on ordering and sharing many dishes over a few hours and the staff were quite happy to accommodate, no hint at all about hurrying us along (unlike some other restaurants in Cairns). We started sharing the deliciously crispy little WA Whitebait and the Lemon and Vodka Granita Oysters. The Oysters were some of the best we have have in Cairns- Plump and cleanly shucked, The Granita was tarty and citrusy and added a zinging deliciousness. We followed these two dishes by sharing the crusted Tuna with pepper and served with an Asian inspired papaya and beanshoot salad. The Tuna was served medium rare (if cooked- as it should be) and topped with crispy Daikon chips. The texture and temperature were perfect for the dish. We then followed this progression of delicious seafood with a whole fried baby Barramundi with a tamarind and ginger sauce, served with wilted baby bokchoy and steamed rice. The presentation was amazing with the whole fish seemingly diving up off the plate. The fish skin was crispy like fish crackle and the flesh soft and moist. We also sampled the delicious passionfruit bubbles and some house sav blancs which complimented the meal perfectly.

Leah M.

Yelp
Tha Fish was tha best!! We stayed in Cairns for 4 days and our lunch here was the best meal we had all trip. Our waiter, Bondy, was so helpful and we got fantastic service. I have allergies to gluten and soy and Bondy and the restaurant went to great lengths to accommodate and answered all of our many questions. Even though we came during the end of their lunch hour we weren't rushed and had a really relaxing time. The food was great, the chef also sent out an extra appetizer so our table could enjoy the GF and regular versions of the tuna carpaccio. Overall the service, meal, and dining experience was excellent. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Corinne S.

Yelp
I've been told by several people that the food in Queensland is terrible. Apparently they just we're not going to the right places. Tha Fish is a definite must do when in Cairnes. 7 of us rocked up on Easter Sunday with no reservations and only had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. The menu had a great range of food and the waitress made some great recommendations. Throughout the table we ordered the crab bruschetta, mussels, morten bay bugs, seafood pallea, crab, chicken, and coral trout, and everything was delicious. This was voted the best meal of our trip by all. Big shout out to the mixologist and the staff as well.

Anna S.

Yelp
Wow one of the best seafood places I've tasted. Gorgeous sunset view with the boats. Soft shell crab preparation was to die for. Seafood platter was plentiful. Amazing night.

Rosie N.

Yelp
Upmarket looking restaurant with views of the Pier. Courteous staff. Perhaps I'm not a huge fan of fish and so I've given the place an average rating. Oyster were nice. Mussels and sauce slightly on the salty side. Though a glass of wine solved the salty taste. Visited January 2016.

Kim G.

Yelp
Excellent fresh seafood on the marina. We sat outside for dinner. We started with natural (not raw as we Americans call them) oysters. They were small oysters but very sweet and delicious. They have a nice menu of seafood, meat and vegetarian options. They also offer 5 different fresh fish - Atlantic salmon, trout, barramundi, red emperor and something else that was sold out. You can select a fish then select from 5 different preparations. I had Red emperor (which reminded me of red snapper a firm flaky white fish) done in brute blanc with asparagus, snow peas and fingerling potatoes. My husband had red emperor also but in red curry wrapped in a banana leaf with sweet potatoes and bok choy. Both were so fresh and absolutely delicious. Grilled to perfection with great accompaniments and flavor. They have a nice wine, beer and cocktail selection also. A great find thanks to prior Yelp reviews.

Yelp
I went on a 12 days Australia trip and had been craving amazing seafood the whole trip. I finally found it at Tha Fish. SO yummy. Located right on the pier, tons of outside seating, great vibe, friendly service, next to 10 other restaurants if you don't like this one. Service was a little slow but the place was packed and i noticed the whole continent seems to have slower service so don't think this place was any different. Prices were comparable to the rest of the seafood restaurants in the area - main dishes at $25 - $35. Portions were big and rich in flavor, i was full after my appetizer and a drink. Their fish was cooked to perfection, everything we ate was solid execution on all fronts and presentation was just as creative. We tried quite a few of the specials but remember the seafood platter was phenomenal. Also remember the ravioli. Definitely recommend this place, i tried a few of the others next to this restaurant and was less impressed.

Yelp
If you stay at the Shangri-La, AVOID THIS "RESTAURANT"!!!! Very very very disappointing. This restaurant came highly recommended by our hotel, but did not live up to the hype. We were staying at the Shangri-la, and dispite the concierge assuring us that they would "take very good care" of us, we were treated very poorly. The food was mediocre, and served in very small portions; the appetizer we ordered was actually larger than the main course dish, which was surprising. Service was non-existent. When we complained to the manager, we were told that the bad experience was our problem, and that nothing would be done. He was actually very hostile and acted as though he wanted to pick a fight with us. He just seemed out of control, and in way over his head; he was sweaty, disheveled, and snarky. All we wanted was to alert him as to our problems, but he did not take our complaints well at all. Very overpriced for how terrible the service went / how badly we were treated as paying customers.

Chris P.

Yelp
This is one of great finds in Cairns. Very delicate cooking, contemporary style, specially in seafood and good services.

Suzanne F.

Yelp
So they are located as part of the pier group at the shang gra la hotel. Beautiful location and nice menu. We has a bit of a wait so make a resi. Unfortunately the table we were sat at had a terribly rude waiter. However I still give them a 4 star review because the maître de came right overand rectified the situation. We were about to leave. Our new table and waiter were much better and they were very accommodating. The food was very good. I had the sampler of all different fish. Lot of food. Good flavor. My husband had the barramundi. It was very good.

Renugah J.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing for fish (of course!) to be done in your preferred style. I was recommended the red emperor fish in spiced sauce and it was just heaven! The wait staff there are very friendly and knowledgeable too.
