A street full of life, best time to visit overnight of course, with plenty of vendors this is pretty much a street market as many in Thailand. A bunch of local tastes and apparel vendors we had a great time walking down there, unfortunately it was and apparently it’s always an overcrowded we had a card time tying to walk. The long time tho was worth and you should make this a mandatory stop during one of your free evening and night

Welcome to one of Thailand tourism's true travel icons ... Sunday nights come alive in this premier location for travellers headed to Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand, as the mega market opens up over, then dominates through, several blocks in town. It is quite the marathon (if one truly wants to explore the depth and breadth of these markets, as I did ...) and at the finishing line, I reckoned it was well worth the expiration, in doing so. Almost everything you can imagine being able to buy in a pop-up night market bazaar, is on sale here. Food glorious food, abounds. And whether you want something to go and or, would like to take a load off, to dine-in, you are well and truly looked after here. In addition to the amazing food and drink, there are awesome local arts, crafts and homewares, on sale, plus lots of curious people watching opportunities, too. I will be back ...

Wow, it was kind of an endless street with shops when the Sunday market was happening. Keep eating something so you don't get tired of exploring. The price was decent( comparatively less to Bankok) but you need to negotiate, without negotiation the price was very high. You can easily spend 2 - 3 hour along with dinner.

Night market only on Sundays! Lots of foods, snacks, drinks and arts and crafts vendors all along the Ratchadamnoen Road starts from Tha Phae Gate. Lots of vendors, lots of foods, lots of fun!! Also LOTS OF PEOPLE!! If you have little kids and elderly becareful because they’ll get lost in the maze of people. Vendors are mostly cheap but their arts and crafts are mostly cheaply manufactured. Lots of cheap souvenirs. Towards the middle of the walking street, there’s a lot of massaging chairs along the walk way. Pretty cheap for an hour of massage but I wouldn’t do it too often. Doesn’t seem too hygienic, people from everywhere lining up to get massages but if you look there’s no where for them to wash their hands either.

A must try if you visit Chiang Mai and stay over Sunday. The walking street is full of shops but are very well organized and clean. They seperate the food stalls in seperate areas which is very convenient. One of the best walking street / night market I have experienced.

Quite a remarkable and memorable experience. People from all over the world walking around, eating, shopping, talking. Great vibe, captures the essence of this fine city.

The is a Sunday night market on Rachadamnoen Road. The road temporarily is closed as a pedestrian only walking street. Always crowded with tourists. Lots of stalls selling great variety of products, ranging from handmade products, handicrafts, artwork, souvenirs to inexpensive clothing. There are some food stalls. I tried a few but not recommended.
