Tha Phae Loft

Highly recommend Tha Pae Loft - this affordable top notch room within the old city in Chiang Mai. Location is in the heart of the old city and steps away from the Sunday night market. Quaint coffee shop (136 Coffee) right outside the loft as well as great restaurants steps away and great little puff pie place across the street. Rooms are comfortable with air conditioning and modern cement floor. Can be noisy through the washroom if the people beside you or above you aren’t respectful. Daily water provided along with fridge in room. Great service. Great little pool with lounges. Bikes provided for your use. Highly recommend this little gem.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a perfect location! The staff is very helpful and super friendly. The floors are a little slippery in the room if wearing socks so make sure to wear shoes or slippers and be careful. The lighting is a bit dim in the bathroom but was fine. We would definitely recommend and we will return to this hotel because of the location and super friendly staff. Very clean and well maintained with all the amenities you need. They will arrange for laundry or anything else you may need.

Tucked away just 2 blocks from the center of old town, this small boutique hotel is offers great service...free bikes for use, tour booking, clean spacious rooms and walking to most places in town. The walking street night market on Sunday is particularly close. The only down side is no food on site, but is in walking distance to a bunch of restaurants.

Excellent location, close to delicious local restaurants and amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful, and accommodating since we showed up ahead of check in time. Rooms were well stocked compared to other Thai hotels we’ve stayed at. Only thing we didn’t like was the lighting in the room - the overhead lights were not bright enough, and it could have really done with just some floor lamps!

Checking out of Thapae loft today and we’re sad to leave! It was a great place to stay for people who want to enjoy the vibes of Old Town Chiang Mai. We walked everywhere, there was a new market every night and lots of great restaurants and cafes nearby. The loft was clean and in great condition, the workers were friendly and helpful.

This place, the room, the service, everything was perfect. They saw that it was my birthday on my passport and went the extra mile to get me a cake and make me a beautiful towel cake. The rooms are incredibly clean and you could as them for anything. Your room comes with robes and slippers this should be more than a 3+ hotel. Any time I come back to Chaing Mai I will stay here with my family, also the main night market, 7/11 and so much food is no more that a five minute walk away.

I had a wonderful stay at Thapae Loft in Chiang Mai. The location is absolutely perfect — central yet peaceful — making it easy to explore the city. The hotel is very clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The staff truly made the experience special: they were pleasant, courteous, and very accommodating at all times. A special mention to Kratee at the reception — she is the epitome of pleasantness, always smiling, warm, and genuinely helpful. I thoroughly loved my stay here and would highly recommend Thapae Loft to anyone visiting Chiang Mai. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Great place to stay in Chiang Mai. Staff were very friendly. Rooms were well kept and housekeeping was daily. Free water at reception was convenient for the hot days. Great location - close to must visit markets, bars, and temples.
