Thai Botanico | Authentic Thai Cuisine

Came here for a Valentines meal after reading good reviews. The place and the staff are lovely but unfortunately the food didn’t deliver for me. It was closer to an average Chinese than Thai food. The sweet and sour was ok, the Thai Basil wasn’t even a little bit spicy, prawn crackers are the white Chinese style ones not the usual Thai ones, rice was a little hard & not the soft fluffy rice I’m used to, the noodles were a bit grey looking & not very tasty. Nothing was spicy & everything was just ok. Not a bad place but definitely doesn’t meet my standards of Thai food by a long shot. Massive shame as the team are great & I was really hoping to leave a positive review.

After searching wide and deep for an AUTHENTIC Thai cuisine in Las Americas region/area of Tenerife, we’ve decided to try Thai Botanico. And we LOVED IT!!! The welcoming staff [Margherita], service of Mirko, and the really authentic thai flavours of a Chef made our dinner as the unforgettably pleasant experience, reminiscing other great Thai restaurants we had dined before. P.S. other places in Las Americas posed to have “the authentic” thai flavours were not authentic at all. Aka…contaminated by other asian fusion influences.:(

The food was absolutely incredible! Everything was delicious and beautifully prepared. Mirko’s service was excellent — he was very attentive and made sure we had a great experience. The place itself is absolutely beautiful, such a lovely atmosphere. We 100% recommend this spot, and once again, the food was amazing! ⭐️🍽️

Thai Botánico is simply outstanding! The food is unbelievably delicious, and they’ve recently introduced a new menu. Don’t worry—almost everything can be made gluten-free, and the staff are truly knowledgeable about it. At first glance the prices might not look cheap, but the portions are huge and absolutely worth it. For starters, the chicken satay comes with four skewers, and the soup is so generous it can easily serve two, packed with 5–6 prawns instead of just a couple. The mains are bursting with flavor—perfect for anyone who enjoys a little spice—served with rice and beautifully presented. The staff are super friendly, Francesco thank you again for your knowledge and the atmosphere is lovely. Highly recommend reserving during prime time. For anyone with celiac disease, this place is a true paradise! 🌟🍜

AMAZING food and service. Creative Thai cocktails. 🍸 I really loved the green chicken curry, the chicken was super tender. The portions are super generous too. Only issue is we were there on a very hot day, and we would appreciated a fan outdoor next to our sitting.

The decor, the food, the service, everything at this restaurant will exceed your expectations and will easily become a prime favourite each time you visit this beautiful island. Next time you swing by Thai Botanico, ask for Daniel! He is incredibly friendly and very attentive.

Went here for diner after an employee of another restaurant recommended it. What a great recommendation! The food was absolutely perfect. The taste was amazing! Such nice and different flavours, specially the combinations, were simply perfect. I would recommend both the pineapple rice option and the pineapple desert as well. Unless you don't like pineapple, in that case the duck was great as well! What made the experience even better was our waitress Giorgia. Such a kind girl with time to make small conversation and talk a bit about the island and life here etc. + her laugh was really cute! Would definitely come back here if I visit Playa de las Americas again.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Thai Botanico in Tenerife! The food was bursting with authentic Thai flavors — we tried the Thai green chicken curry, and it was hands-down one of the best we’ve ever had. Perfectly spiced, creamy, and incredibly satisfying. For dessert, we were blown away by their mango cheesecake — it was rich, refreshing, and easily one of the most delicious desserts we’ve had in a long time! The ambiance is lovely, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We highly recommend booking in advance, as it gets quite busy — a true testament to how popular and outstanding this place is. If you’re in Tenerife and craving Thai cuisine, Thai Botanico is an absolute must-visit!
