Thai House Beach Resort

Stayed here to begin my stay on Lanta given the proximity to the dive centre at castaway. Stayed in a garden bungalow which was clean and comfortable and serviced each day without special request. Bed comfy, bathroom ok if a little strangely arranged with shower in between sink and toilet but not an issue as floor well sloped to ensure is dry after very short period of time after a shower. Water pressure low however I believe that is the case everywhere on Lanta as other resort was much the same, was not an issue for me.|Tea and coffee provided with kettle & fridge, both worked well.|AC in room worked well.|Location is very good with a short stroll down the path to Long Beach, my bungalow the furthest from the beach and was still very close. Is a short walk up to the main road where there is 7/11 & ATMs|Staff are available from 8am to 8pm and nothing is a problem for them and the owner, Kim, is about most of the day and is a delightful host. In hindsight I should have stayed here the whole time I was on Lanta.

Great location near a 7-11, a bunch of small restaurants on the street, and the beach and beach bars on the other side - including Turtle Beach attached to the hotel. It’s pretty chill here, so great for just taking it easy and relaxing. The room I had a was a bit dated, bad water pressure, and some damaged fixtures. It looks like some of the other cabins were a little more refreshed. Staff were great, and my stay was trouble free.

Absolute beach front. Well maintained bungalows Great reception staff and a really helpful team. The restaurant at the resort is very nice too. Really , this place is so good for the money .

It's a pretty nice view with some animals here and there. Also a LOT of restaurants nearby and a 7-eleven just around the corner. My biggest problem is the tv being pretty old, not being able to run Netflix. Overall a good place to stay for a couple nights.

Extemely helpful staff, lovely clean air conditioned rooms, 50 yards from a beautiful beach. Excellent beach bar and restaurant. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful, particularly the manager Kim who is a british lady that was so incedibly helpful. |I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, and I hope to one day return.|I have no bad words to say about this place at all. Good staff only stay with good bosses and it's the staff that make Thai House. Nothing is too much trouble and the genuine smiles and top location make this a must stay. Accomodation has big fridges and other touches that set it apart from others. Having a top restaurant that has a great atmosphere and again proper professional staff is an extra addition. I've been living in Thailand 30 years so trust me on this review.

Everything about this place was just so lovely. The owner was welcoming and the staff were such a pleasure. The accomodation was right on the beach (Long Beach) and has everything you could want within a 2 minute walking distance so you're not stuck on hiring a bike or taxi everyday. If you're looking for a wonderful place to stay in Koh Lanta, you've found it.

Fantastic stay at Thai House Beach! Service was fabulous they were so helpful with recommendations and the woman who owned it kindly let us borrow her microwave! Everyone was so friendly! Rooms need a little touch up like a bit of the door was missing around the bathroom handle but it’s a budget room so you get what you pay for! Location was close to some fantastic restaurants and 7/11! Thank you for having us :)
