We had the pleasure of dining at Thai-n-Wok for lunch, and it was a truly delightful experience. Located in the heart of Panjim, this hidden gem perfectly combines the flavours of Thailand with the warmth of Goan hospitality.
The atmosphere is charming, with traditional Thai decor creating a relaxed and inviting space. Whether you're looking for a casual meal or a more special occasion, the setting suits both perfectly. The service was attentive and friendly, with the staff being knowledgeable and happy to offer recommendations. The owner, a gracious host, ensured every guest felt welcomed and well taken care of.
We were welcomed with Miang Kham, a delicious Thai appetizer that was so enjoyable, we decided to order it again after our meal. For my drink, I chose the Lemongrass, Lime & Thai Basil Mojito, which was wonderfully refreshing. The fresh basil and lemongrass, grown in their own garden, added a special touch to the drink.
For the main course, I had the Gang Kiew Wan Veg and Sticky Rice, along with the Tom Yum Veg Soup. Each dish was packed with vibrant, authentic flavours, and the ingredients were clearly of the highest quality. The Gang Kiew Wan was a perfect balance of spice and sweetness, while the Tom Yum soup had a tangy, aromatic kick that was both refreshing and comforting. The sticky rice was a lovely complement to the meal
In short, Thai-n-Wok is a must-visit for anyone who enjoys great Thai food. The friendly service, combined with delicious dishes, makes it a place I would definitely recommend for anyone in Panjim.
