Google
We found a cozy Thai restaurant in Dotonbori where you can relax right by the river, watching tour boats glide by and people pass along the lively walkway. The atmosphere alone is already worth the visit, but the real highlight is the food, incredibly authentic, full of bold flavors that instantly made us miss Thailand. A perfect spot to slow down, enjoy the view, and savor real Thai comfort food in the heart of Osaka.

A Thai restaurant near the Dotonbori lake. There are two entrances, one going underground from the walking street and one in front of the lake. The eat-all-you-can lunch is viking style at less than 2000 yen, but it goes above it if you order a drink with that. There are provided drinks on the viking table though. You would need that since half the viands are spicy. I would say that the price is actually good given this economy, but if they need to increase the fee every few months they need to make more food variety. But nonetheless in the Dotonbori district it’s an excellent place to get full at noon.

We ordered fried rice , stir fried morning glory, assorted sausages, mince salad , pad krapao and green curry. Food was tasty and authentic (recommend pad krapao, morning glory and assorted sausage -both are very authentic taste ) wait time was a bit long . They forgot our green curry but staff was very apologetic when we told them that we were still waiting for one more dish . Overall experience was good and would like to return to try their lunch buffet

Very poor portion size. Only 3 piece of chicken in red curry. Make sure you bring 5000 to 6000 yen if you want to feed 2 people fully. Poor attitude, not welcoming. Only good atmosphere, because of river view. If you want to feed

Disappointing standard of food here. Spring rolls were decent but the pad Thai (fried noodles) were bad. The prawns had an unpleasant taste, I think defrosted from frozen and the dish as a whole lacked flavour. It’s in a very touristy area and the prices are very reasonable for the portion size. The staff were welcoming and friendly but the place lacks any atmosphere. Fine for a cheap meal but I would not recommend.

Such good food! Very authentic, tasted just like the Thai food we enjoyed in Chiang Mai, Phuket and Bangkok. The restaurant is located on the lower dockside of the river. We had: Thai spring rolls - good Papaya salad - good Chicken & coconut soup - excellent Green curry w/rice - excellent Chicken & cashews - excellent

Thai Restaurant Krugteg My brother and I love Thai Food, perhaps it’s because we used to have a restaurant and next door was a Thai Place which had exceptional food. We’d also trade mistaken orders etc so it became part of our diet. “Authentic Thai” is hard to find in Japan in my opinion due to the lack of chilis and other spices. But this place was good. It was spicy enough to satisfy the cravings! And very flavorful. I’m happy I came here and will likely come again if I’m in Osaka.

Just got some food from their stall in Expo and it was absolutely disgusting. Not Thai food in any way. Gapao rice was just fried mince meat with no seasoning at all. Pad Thai just tasted like burnt oil; not a single speck of peanut. Avoid, and don’t judge Thai food based on this please!

Yelp
Excellent food, layered flavors and authentic Thai taste. Service is top notch, the best Thai meals I have had in Osaka. Several seating options inside or outside on boardwalk along the canal. Soft shell crab curry was amazing and the fried banana dessert was perfect ending to the meal.

Yelp
Average Thai food while in Osaka. If you eat outside you have a great view of the river. Inside the smoking section and nonsmoking are divided by a few pillars which are quite amusing in my opinion. We ordered spring rolls and curry. I asked for thai spicy and of course, it was not delivered that way. Ugh annoying.

Yelp
Whenever I'm around Shinsaibashi area and in the mood for Thai food, I always end up here. Lunch time is all you can eat for 1200yen , no drinks included. Although their lemon grass tea is always free, which I find really refreshing especially on a hot summer day. They have a few tables which is separated and is non-smoking but its always taken early. Food is good and the staff are always friendly and accommodating. The individual order is also available, a bit pricey but more delicious.

Yelp
VERY small portions. The food was good but the small portions and high prices compared to other restaurants made this place not worth it. Service is very slow and very slow to bring even water.
