Visiting ThaiRoom Grand Etobicoke is a delicious and welcoming experience. The restaurant is simply light and inviting. The comfort and elegance of the space complements the array of menu offerings they provide. Brunch is quickly becoming a new favorite as the Thai cuisine provides guests with an array of flavorful options. Start off with the fresh rolls and calamari. Light, crisp batter is perfectly cooked to offer an enjoyable crunch with every bite. The mango sticky rice is a must-have. At ThaiRoom, the portion is more than enough and the presentation is stunning, with mango slices gracing the top of the plate. The flavoring is simply divine and sure to satisfy your cravings.

Really enjoyed the ambiance here — it’s a great spot for catching up with friends over drinks and dinner. The dishes were also visually appealing. Papaya salad, pad Thai, and garlic chicken were all pretty good choices. The mango chicken, however, was a bit underwhelming and not something recommended. The waitress was friendly overall, but at the beginning, when we asked for recommendations, she insisted we choose a section of the menu first. We were hoping to hear a few popular items across different sections, so that part felt like she could’ve been more knowledgeable. Still, the overall experience was fine.

Decent food. Except the delightful presentation there’s not something out of the box here. 1 extra point for the presentation but food is OK. Service is good and fast. Nice renovations inside the restaurant. Overall nice food but can be improved. All the best! Mith visit here again but not likely. Thanks

We recently visited Thai Room Grand and really enjoyed our meal! We ordered a mix of dishes: the Grand Pad Thai with chicken, Thai hot and sour soup with chicken, chicken satay skewers, Royal Pineapple Fried Rice with chicken and shrimp, and for dessert, the coconut sticky rice with mango. To drink, we had Thai iced tea and lychee juice. Everything we had was actually really good — I don’t have a clear favorite, which says a lot. I loved the variety; if I had stuck to just one dish, I don’t think I would’ve enjoyed it as much. The Pad Thai and pineapple fried rice were both packed with flavor and came in generous portions. The soup was smaller, but still very tasty and warming. The chicken satay skewers were just okay — not bad, but lacking in flavor compared to everything else. Probably wouldn’t get those again. As for the dessert, the coconut sticky rice was nice, but I mostly liked it because of the mango. Wouldn’t rush to get it again, but it was a good finish to the meal. The Thai iced tea was a standout — rich, smooth, and perfectly sweetened. I’d definitely get that again. The lychee juice was clearly from a box, just poured into a glass, but still refreshing. Service was decent — nothing to rave about, but friendly and efficient. Also a big plus: it’s kid-friendly! Our son was given a highchair right away and had enough space to eat comfortably, which we really appreciated. Overall, a solid 8/10 experience. Great variety, good portions, and a place I’d return to — especially for the mains and that Thai iced tea.

Thank you to Christina and Youmi for your excellent service. I had chicken fried rice, ginger chicken, shrimp roll, ginger beef and veggie spring roll. Everything was amazing. Very cute ambiance as well. Also the Moscow Mules with a Thai twist were delicious. Have to also mention the beautiful way the food was presented.

I was visiting from Vancouver, BC and decided to stop by this restaurant as I was craving green curry. I tried their green curry, thai iced tea, and deep fried bananas. Safe to say this may be my favorite thai food restaurant! It's unfortunate I live far away, but I will definitely recommond this place to my friends and family in Ontario :) The food, service, and atmosphere were all great. I really appreciated the staff as well for their kindness as I was eating alone. I just regret not getting their names so I could give them the recognition they deserve!

Everything went well from greetings, food and atmosphere. We went on a Friday night around 6 and we made reservations as it gets busy. The only downside to our experience was the Staff not acknowledging that we were there on a special occasion and noted with our reservation. We frequent at their Yorkmills location and when there’s a birthday occasion they come out with a surprise dessert. I also want to note the Yorkmills is always busy with a bigger space. I will come back but not when we have an occasion.

TASTY THAI FOOD. We happened to find this spot last minute after the ramen places were all booked up! A happy accident because the food was 11/10 and ended up being better than ramen! Especially the Khao Soi, so many textures, super creamy and rich flavours all in one dish. Their Grand Pad Thai was also but definitely recommend the Khao Soi if you had to choose. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the atmosphere is comfortable with many booths too. A cool spot for dinner and saving this next time we're in the area again👌🏼. Google
What a fantastic experience, the mango salad and mango chicken were both amazing, flavorful, and filling. Yumi took great care of us 😊 The Thai iced tea is also a must, we were very well taken care of even on a Saturday night. 10/10 we will be back soon! 😋😋😋

Yelp
Service was good, I came during around 2pm so it was not busy. They suggested the Malay curry which I ordered with chicken. It had very bold flavors. It was very good and I would order this again. Pad Thai beef was average and ordinary. The Kai Soi was good. I still compare all the Kai Soi's I've had to my fav, Pai in downtown Toronto. It was good but not the best. Nice stop for a quick lunch spot.

Yelp
Food and service were very good. Parking is not good . Had the spring rolls and they were good . The following were really good , Hot and sour soup, green Curry and Malay Curry , Basil shrimp , mango salad Did not like the Padthai , it was too sweet

Yelp
Food yummy and fast service we flew in and found this spot before driving to Niagara!

Yelp
Not bad at all! The food was tasty. I'd say my only issue was the appetizers, everything that is fried is panko break crumbs which isn't what I was expecting for the fried tofu when I've ordered it at any Thai place and the amount of sauce given was a little small too. Otherwise flavors were great and I'd go back for sure. We had the coconut mango chicken and the pad si ew which was, you could tell in house made noodles! So good!!! Highly recommend that dish for sure!

Yelp
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the food, they provide decent portions and the presentation is nice. The restaurant is cute and colourful and inside, you'd never expect that looking from the outside. The staff are attentive and kind as well. I would recommend this spot if you're in Etobicoke.

Yelp
I decided to try this place as I was in this area and it had good ratings. We got a table without reservations, the decor was really nice. We ordered Thai Ice Tea, Cashew Curry, Holy Basil and Spring Rolls. All items were average in taste. We ordered the cashew curry as mild spice still it was very bland. The service was very slow, we almost waited for 45 mins for our food to arrive. And when it did it was wrong order!

Yelp
I came here for an intimate celebration for my birthday. Great standard service and the waitstaff was willing to sing happy birthday on her own with my family lol. The decor of the restaurant is elegant and welcoming. The food was excellent and authentic. I had high expectations for this location since I had visited their College location before. We had the veggie green curry (even mild is a bit spicy), grand pad thai with beef and ginger chicken. I would come here again!

Yelp
We looked tonight for a nearby place for dinner. Yelp reviewed this restaurant positively, so we drove over without reservations on Sunday evening. We were seated immediately in this small, nearly full restaurant. My wife and I ordered Thai Spring Roll, Grand Coconut Soup with Chicken, Aromatic Seafood Combination, and Sticky Rice with Peanut Sauce to share. The spring roll was very good, but was a little different than we expected. The soup was far better than we expected. The chicken was in larger pieces than we thought we would have thought. Not a problem - just a surprise. The seafood dish, ordered mild, was (we both agreed) the best similar dish we have ever been served. The sticky rice was very enjoyable even though we had never had it before. Service was superb!

Yelp
Had an amazing late night dinner on our first night in the Toronto-area at Thairoomgrand! We enjoyed the Panang chicken and shrimp, Ginger chicken with jasmine rice, Thai spring rolls and Crispy fish. All items were excellent and experienced great customer service. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
So we are new to the city and exploring restaurants all over. We are big foodies and this place came highly recommended. The ambiance is inviting, global decor and clean space. The staff courteous and swift which I really like. Our food was on the table in 10 mins of ordering! Love that... The food was very good, their crispy chilli oil was the star of the show. We ordered Keemao, Holy Basil chicken and crispy fish. Everything was great and their spicy is not crazy thai spicy, so folks can be adventurous!

Yelp
Got here for dinner tonight! We have visited the one in Mississauga but discovered there's a new one in Etobicoke (close to home) ... So happy to have them near by The food is delish! We ordered Malay curry, fried rice and spring rolls. Everything was great, fresh ingredients. Parking could be an issue but there's street parking GreenP on opposite streets. Highly recommended... we'll keep coming back!

Yelp
The service was excellent. The food was served in a timely manner, given that it was a Friday evening. The chili chicken was the best and paired well with the fried rice. The noodles were decent. Overall, it was a good restaurant to check out. The ambiance is very nice and friendly.

Yelp
When we lived in the Yonge/Eglinton area, one of our favorite Thai places was Thai Room Grand. So when we moved to Etobicoke, I was pretty disappointed that Thai Room Grand seemed to be out of our lives forever. Imagine my surprise/happiness, then, when a new location opened just a short walk from our new place! It was a relatively nice November night, so we decided to make the quick trip over. The place was maybe half full around 7:00 on a Friday night, so we managed to snag a comfortable booth near the middle of the restaurant. I've tried quite a few things on their menu, so I decided to go with something I hadn't had before: the Malay Curry ("Spicy Malaysian style curry is made with traditional Malaysian spices, vegetables, onions, potatoes, eggplant, shredded ginger, tomatoes and is cooked in our delicious curry sauce, and topped off with coriander. Served with a side of jasmine rice." I'm used to eating Thai food via delivery, so I was extremely impressed by the presentation. (The rice was presented as a cone! It was pretty cool.) How was the food, though? Absolutely amazing. I took one bite and I knew I was eating something special. There are so many irresistible flavors going on here that I never grew tired of eating this delectable concoction, which is certainly not always the case. All the components were cooked really well and the plentiful chicken complemented the whole dish really nicely. The spice level was right on point, too. I couldn't be more thrilled that Thai Room Grand has come to Etobicoke. I'm sure I'll become a regular in the weeks and months to come.

Yelp
I ordered UberEats with a pick up scheduled two hours in advance. Service: (4/5 stars) Around 6pm, I asked for the food to be ready at 8:45. I called them at 8:20 when I noticed they have not started on my order. They got the food ready for 8:55. They were polite. Food: (4.5 stars) - Thai Spring Rolls (4 stars) $6 for two large ones. - Grand's Lemongrass Soup (3 stars) a tad spicy, not a lot of vegetables in it. - Pad See Ew (4.5 stars) - We got it with beef, the noodles come with full flavour, I didn't like it that much, but the rest of my family loved it - Khao Soi (5 stars) - The best thing we tried, a bit spicy but full of flavour. Comes with a full egg. The packaging came with soup and chicken in one container, and noodles in the other so it does not get soggy before you plate it. The UberEats had promotion for everything above, buy one get one free and it was FULLY worth it. all above came to $68.00 with tax (for pick up). Without the promotion we would have gotten a few things less and not had leftovers. I recommend this place. Note: since UberEats chargers a fee to the restaurant, some of the items are more expensive with them than in the store directly. (but you do not get promotions)

Yelp
Great service and wonderful food! Ordered take out directly from the restaurant. Delivered promptly, nice sized portions and great flavours. Give them a try, recommended.

Yelp
Best Thai food in the city. Every time we order delivery from here the food is always hot fresh and the staff is wonderful who makes the delivery.

Adeline C.

Yelp
We ordered the pad thai, chicken fingers and spring rolls. Everything was good. A gem in Etobicoke!

Barbara P.

Yelp
Our Pad Thai dish was probably the best we have ever had in our area. So moist and flavourful with an ample amount of chicken and shrimp to accompany the noodles. The portions were generous, the pricing reasonable, and the delivery service prompt and pleasant. We could fault nothing in our first Thairoomgrand experience. Looking forward to the next!

Kyrylo L.

Yelp
Very yummy food and nicely presented. Service is great and decor is well put together.
