"I've visited Thailand 6,530 times (citation needed), and plan on visiting over and again until I kick the bucket. Yeah, the beaches and Bangkok and the hustle and bustle are all great, but few cuisines compare to Thai. North York will never be confused for backwoods Bangkok, but Thai One On does a fab facsimile of homespun Thai favorites in a funky, bright environment. An order of spicy Thai mussels for under ten bucks is outrageous, and nearly as good as the golden curry shrimp. (If you haven't guessed, I'm telling you to try the seafood.)"

The food was amazing! The fried rice and crispy beef were full of flavor and cooked perfectly. I loved the mix of veggies and spices. The Thai iced tea was refreshing and served in a cool glass jar. The restaurant looks beautiful inside – clean, modern, and peaceful with a lovely Buddha statue and stylish seating. Staff were friendly, and overall it was a great dining experience. Highly recommend!

I was in the area with my partner and found this beautiful Thai restaurant honestly I was blown away the food was amazing, the environment was lovely and the customer service was great! The waitress that attended us her name is Ellen was very kind warm and helpful. The manger Vincent introduced himself before making our drinks, it was very nice of him to do so felt very welcoming definitely will be returning back here! If you’re in the area or scrolling upon this beautiful restaurant on google definitely take the time to come visit!

An established Thai restaurant that deserves its praise. Every dish we tried, from the pineapple fried rice, to green curry, to mango sticky rice is on point and feels tremendously authentic. Atmosphere is very cosy and intimate with booth seating, and a low noise level. Service is caring and attentive. Great place for truly enjoyable Thai cuisine.

I recently visited Thai Grand Room and was thoroughly impressed by the dining experience. The restaurant's interior is beautifully decorated with a modern Thai aesthetic, including intricate patterns on the tables and wall art that adds a cultural touch. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with stylish lighting creating a cozy atmosphere. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious. The green curry was creamy and flavorful, with perfectly cooked vegetables and tender chicken. The beef stir-fried noodles were rich and savory, garnished with a beautiful carrot and beet spiral that added a fresh pop of color. The side dishes of rice complemented the meal perfectly. Additionally, the mango salad and papaya salad were refreshing, with a balance of tangy and sweet flavors. The presentation of the dishes was exquisite, with attention to detail that elevated the dining experience. The portion sizes were generous, and everything tasted fresh and authentic. Overall, Thai Grand Room is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine in a sophisticated setting. I highly recommend it and look forward to again.

Google
It’s a good place for thai food. For the meal the order was Pineapple fried rice which comes with chicken and shrimp you can also customize with chicken if you have allergy issues with shrimp. It was delicious and perfectly cooked. Alongside also ordered eggplants which comes with peppers , onions. And there’s also a order for chicken named devil chicken which was tasty but not that spicy. The place service was good and the ambience was nice too. Hundred percent recommended.

There’s a difference between eating out and being fed. At Thai Room Grand – York Mills, you don’t just get a meal — you get a full-on sensory experience, wrapped in spice, warmth, and quiet elegance. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was calm confidence. Sleek interiors, ambient lighting, and the hum of good conversation. No frills, just focus — on flavour, flow, and hospitality. We started with the Grand Appetizer Platter — a greatest-hits lineup of shrimp satay, tofu, calamari, spring rolls, and shrimp chips. Hot, crispy, and fresh — each bite made to be shared (even if we didn’t want to). Then came the mains. The Khao Soi? Liquid gold: creamy, gently spicy broth hugging every noodle. The Holy Basil Chicken brought fire and fragrance. The Pad See Ew was the sleeper hit — chewy noodles, deep soy notes, all comfort. And the Pineapple Fried Rice? Sweet-savoury magic with shrimp, chicken, and golden egg. But the surprise favourite? The Spicy Beef Salad — zesty, herbaceous, and refreshing between bites. To drink, we sipped the mellow Grand Thai Tea, tropical Mango Mojito, and a Lychee Ginger Fizz that honestly tasted like vacation. Beautiful location (clean), plenty of parking, tables have outlets so you can charge your mobiles. Very considerate. Our orders were taken and it came out quick. The service was wonderful. The tables were cleaned quickly. I ordered pad see ew vegetables and tofu with added chicken but it did not have any tofu and it had a little too much black pepper. It would have been tastier if there was not any black pepper but it is my personal taste buds. Next time, I will have to request that it does not have any on it. My friends ordered pad thai and it looked delicious. I will update my food rating when I try other food on the menu. All in all it was a nice evening to go on your own or bring family or friends. It is a place I would return to.

Yelp
$27 lunch offered as part of Summerlicious. Very good menu options for price-fixe three course meal, and you can order in their regular menu. We ordered from the Summerlicious menu: Beef Pad See Ew, Chicken Pad Thai, Green Curry Chicken. Appetizers were papaya salad, mango salad, spring rolls. Dessert options were cheese cake, mango sticky rice. Food was very good, good portions. I couldn't finish the mango sticky rice but it was delicious. Service was very good. Ambiance was lovely, beautiful decor, and clean. I definitely recommend!

Yelp
Overall, the food was excellent and the service was attentive! All of the dishes tried were flavourful. The appetizers specifically stood out as wonderful - specifically the mango salad & the chicken wings! For the main dishes tried, the pineapple fried rice was amazing and all curry based dishes were great as well. For the curry based dishes, the beef is more like a stew which isn't my preference. I would recommend getting chicken. The desserts were mid and I would skip. The restaurant had a nice ambiance. The only negative service component is the server brought the bill unsolicited after an hour when we received our desserts, which may be seen as rushing clients. This was odd since the place was half empty so they didn't need the table ASAP. I would return and recommend coming here!

Yelp
Very nicely designed and decorated restaurant. I like how the foyer is separate from the restaurant. The service is polite, fast and attentive. We liked the grand fried rice the most. Lots of layers of flavor. But all the food here is great.

Yelp
Have I mentioned how much I love Thai food? I love the flavours, the textures, and the wide variety of dishes. Some friends and I recently visited Thai Room Grand in Don Mills and we had a fabulous meal! We started with their Grand Appetizer Platter, which included shrimp satay skewers, spring rolls, crispy tofu, and shrimp chips. It was a delicious start to our meal! Our other selections included Green Mango Salad, Red Curry with Chicken, Khao Soi, Royal Pineapple Fried Rice, and Beef Devil. I always enjoy a good Mango Salad and this one was really good! The Red Curry Chicken and Khao Soi were both colourful and delicious. The Pineapple Fried Rice, traditionally served in a pineapple, was also very pretty and tasty. The Beef Devil, was very flavourful, with a nice crispy texture. It was all good! A couple of us had their refreshing Watermelon Mojito and Mango Mojito cocktails that were very good. Besides the great tasting food, the service was excellent. The decor and ambiance of their dining room were sophisticated and intimate. With great tasting food, excellent service, and beautiful decor, what more could you ask for? Check them out!

Yelp
Went here on a dinner night and wasn't very happy with the food. The portions were decent but the flavours were lacking and have a lot of scope of improvement. I tried their appetizer platter that comes with skewers, spring rolls, prawn chips and tofu and honestly only liked the prawn chips and skewers. I ordered the famous pad thai for mains and wanted it to be spicy but it wasn't as spicy as I expected it to be. Got the mango sticky rice for dessert but the sticky rice also didn't hit the mark but the mangoes were sweet at least! The service was pretty good which why the three stars honestly.

Yelp
I'd like to give this restaurant a 3.5/5 stars actually but I'm being nice because the Asialicious deal was so good. This restaurant was very packed on a Friday night, but we had a reservation so we got seated fairly quickly. Make sure to reserve if you're coming on weekends. We ordered the $40 Asialicious deal which came with Khao Soi, Green Curry, Spring Rolls and Mango Sticky Rice. The food tasted very good, but the flavours felt a bit less authentic. The Khao Soi had a lot of toppings in it like egg, onions, and lettuce but the beef was kind of dry. I liked the noodles and the broth, it was rich and creamy. The green curry was also very flavourful, but I thought there was a stronger coconut milk taste than the green curry. I enjoyed the spring rolls as a light appetizer. The highlight of the meal was the Mango Sticky rice! It was a decent sized portion and the mangoes were sweet and paired so nicely with the sticky rice. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. It's not the most authentic, but you won't be disappointed here!

Yelp
Impressed with kind, happy and great servers Nancy and Fafa! It was clean and nice with decent but not overpowering lighting. Food was good, especially appreciated the kitchen making my pad Thai spicy with red and green sliced peppers !

Yelp
I want to start off by saying that their Thai food is amazing... taste and portion is pretty up there in comparison to other Thai places I've been to over the years. But lowering my rating due to their inability to prioritize reservations and manage time effectively. I visited this past Saturday for a friend's birthday dinner... we had confirmed reservations for our group of 14 at 7:30. Upon arrival at 7:20, the hostess told us that our reservation was actually for 7:45, despite us having email confirmation that clearly said 7:30, and that it'd just be a few minutes wait while the table before us wraps up. But all good. 20 minutes passes and we're told that it'd be another 10 minutes. Fine. Another 20 minutes and we are yet again told "another 10 minutes". By 8:15 we ask to speak to the manager because the wait was getting ridiculous, along with the lack of transparency because if we knew we'd be waiting for so long right off the bat, we would have just left. The manager apologized many times, even admitting that the table's party slowly came late 1 by 1, but stood by the fact that "we can't just kick them out," "there's only so much we can say to them." Fast forward to literally 8:35 when we finally were seated. It makes no sense why the next table's experience needs to be completely compromised because another table was late and inconsiderate. Most restaurants have seating limits now, and indicate this early on to ensure everyone's time is respected, or atleast have staff that communicate when there are people waiting and have them wrap it up. I'll also say that, though a terrible experience at the start, what the manager agreed to offer us upon our negotiation for the unreasonable wait time was a good instance of service recovery. And again, once we were seated the food was terrific. Portions were generous and everything was flavourful... we all got a decent variety of items from the menu and there were no complaints. But better guidelines and standards need to be established at their restaurant to ensure everyone's time is respected. I hope they learn from this experience and enforce better communication and management of guests/reservations.

Yelp
Very mediocre, nothing special. Definitely had better Thai food at other establishments. The taste is very generic and unattractive unfortunately.

Yelp
I'm not normally a Thai food person, but I will gladly return here at any time. The food was all amazing, but the real stand out dish was the Golden Curry. The curry was so good, I wanted to drink it. The consistency was perfect for eating with both rice and roti, and the flavor was sublime. The other amazing thing about my visit was the staff. They were all very friendly, and very attentive. I felt comfortable and well cared for throughout my meal. 5/5, will definitely return.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. Cute little restaurant, lots of great choices and the serving size is ample.

Yelp
I think the food was exceptionally for other items it was lackluster, so would really be a spot with a little bit of risk in terms of the experience. TLDR go to PAI if youre in this area Exceptional items included to make a salad, fried tofu appetizers . The sauces were all very tasty and homemade. The items that were less tasty, or unfortunately, the items that most people would go for at a Thai restaurant. I found all the meat in the stirfry dishes to be dry. The calamari was not coated well and would expect something similar for any breaded items. The location has adequate seating and certainly looks newly renovated. They have the ability to accommodate really large parties. The unfortunate aspect is that it is he's having a walk away from the young and Eglinton area, because it is not an amine street. It is often difficult to find or probably doesn't get a lot of foot traffic.

Yelp
This has got to be the weirdest customer experience I've ever had. I was really looking forward to this restaurant after reading all the positive reviews and to fix my Thai food craving but ultimately it was a let down due to customer service. Issues: - Extremely slow service.. I think we waited a good 20 mins before being able to speak to our server, despite already making a reservation and the restaurant being almost empty. - Their website highlights different daily specials and encourages using their online booking system for an additional 10% off your bill. Before we ordered, we had confirmed this with our waiter but when the bill came they refused to honour it - Server etiquette : asked for a taster of wine before purchasing a full bottle, she served us in plastic takeout condiment containers instead of a wine glass. Then, when ordering a bottle, she gave us a bottle that was already opened and served. Management needs to properly train their staff. - We wanted to order dessert but no one came by to tell us about last call Quite disappointed as the food was actually tasty. The portions are also pretty small for the price. I would order takeout from here, but I don't think I will ever dine in here again.

Yelp
We decided to give this place another shot as it had been almost 2 years. Service: Food was ready on time and hot which is always appreciated for takeout. Food: We got the Khao soi and the pad kee mao. The pad kee mao had well cooked noodles and vegetables with tofu. The spice level is decently high and you can see the tiny green chiles. The flavor itself is a bit muted and overpowered by the spice level. Would like a tad more basil flavor and a little less spice. Otherwise cooked well. The khao soi had great creamy, sweet and salty notes but could use more spice. The noodles seemed quite small in terms of portion and the beef was rather tough and chewy. Not the greatest but not the worst Price: I find this place a little more expensive than most Thai places yet the portion is a bit smaller. Not sure if it's just takeout size or dine in as well. Overall, decent Thai food for an okay price.

Yelp
Speedy delivery! Free delivery when your order is $25+ before tax. Got the khao soi and it was nicely packed in their custom paper bowls. The soup was sweet and spicy but no coconut flavour; wish it was creamier! Came with whole boiled egg, pickles, bean sprouts, lime, lettuce, red onion, green onion and a few small pieces of chicken. The noodles were thin flat egg noodles. The malay roti was yummy. Crispy and flakey as it should be!
google avatar

Shajitha R.

Yelp
Food is always amazing but the Khao soi is definitely my fave! Curry +noodles, nothing beats that combo! Service was great and place was super clean to meet covid standards. Would come again for sure!

Yelp
Excellent food and service. Decor is classy and comfortable. They will adjust spice levels, so just ask! Will be back!

Yelp
We ordered Massaman beef curry. Very good Thai & Malay flavour. The good blend of coconut, peanut, and onion gives out great taste and aroma. Great combinations of potato and jasmine rice in this dish. Recommend to order this curry with chicken or veggie coz the beef is dried and too chewy. It is a 8.5/10 just because of the beef. We also ordered their coconut soup and the grand stir fried glass noodle. Coconut soup has sweet and savory flavour. And the glass noodle is done well with some lemongrass tastes. Good texture, a little bit chewy in a good way. Servers are friendly and attentive. Always come over to see if there is anything we need. Overall, a very good restaurant and highly recommended, kudos!

Yelp
Nice place, lovely decor, food is ok but not impress with the tea, feels like too commercial and different taste.

Yelp
[Review was based on experience weeks ago] 3.5 - Right when you walk into the restaurant, it is like you stepped into another world. Very neat decoration and ambiance, almost each table had their own little area which I liked. I came here during lunch and ordered the curry pad thai with beef while my partner got the pad kee mao. I was about to order just pad thai but the curry version caught my eye. I found the dish to be interesting but okay, I think I would have preferred the regular pad thai. I liked the pad mee mao more as it was full of flavor. Thai iced tea was refreshing and yummy here, service was seriously on point. They were attentive, patient and polite. I would definitely come back to hopefully upgrade my review to a better rating!

Yelp
For delivery: Their Thai shrimp rolls ($8) are a hefty size, stuffed with shredded vegetables and peppery glass noodles with whole shrimps on the ends. Despite waiting around at the restaurant and a long detour while Ubering, they remained surprisingly crispy and was the promise of good food to come. For the most part, Thairoomgrande's fried dishes deliver well. They smartly served the house made Thai sauce on the side so the Grands chicken wings ($11) also remained fairly crunchy. The plump wings were cooked to juicy perfection and well-seasoned so they could be eaten plain or dunked into the thinned sweet and spicy sauce. Before biting into a dish with three chilies on the menu, make sure there's a cold drink by your side... the restaurant does not shy away from spice! The chicken devil ($15) incorporated the typical dried red chilis stir-fried with the fowl, but the sweet and savoury sauce also gets a dose chili oil that soaks into the breaded chicken for a devilish bite. In this case, the sauce mixed with the coating isn't the greatest choice as the breading becomes mushy when being delivered. Their curry pad Thai ($15 with chicken) isn't the typical plain noodles tossed with curry powder for colour. Thairoomgrande must use curry paste and powder as the rice noodles are well-coated making for flavourful bites. I wish we had ordered this dish in the same sitting as the vegetable green curry ($15) as the two should pair well together: the noodles were a little dry and needed more salt while the green curry was heavy on coconut milk and light on spice; yet, a drizzle of the green curry on the pad Thai could be a stellar combination. For a restrained heat, the basil shrimp ($17) is a terrific choice. There's chili oil used in the savoury sauce, but since the shrimp aren't coated it isn't overpowering - if anything the spiciest item in the dish is the broccoli. I'd would like more basil with the shrimp - you really need to look for the herb, there's not enough of it that it completely permeates the dish. Oh, but the item that impressed us the most (we ordered it again on another occasion) was the Grand seafood fried rice ($15). I haven't been able to pinpoint what flavours the rice - my closest guess would be a cross between tom yum and something like shrimp paste. Whatever the ingredients, the rice is spicy with elements of bright herbs and an umami finish. Absolutely delicious. Like most of their dishes, you can choose from a selection of proteins, but we've stuck with seafood as the shrimp, calamari rings, and imitation crab sticks goes so well with the rice.

Yelp
Came last night with a group of friends. Some of the best Thai food we've had in a while. The service was excellent. Waitstaff was friendly and gave great recommendations for dinner and were very attentive and accommodating. We will definitely return and recommend this restaurant highly!

Yelp
Now this is a REAL Thai food place! We liked everything: Pad Thai noodles, chicken skewers, rice in pineapple, curry chicken, steak....

Yelp
I have been to ThairoomGrand twice, for lunch and dinner, and I enjoyed both the experience :) The food and drinks were A+. Service was absolutely friendly and courteous. The menu offers a Thai-Malaysian fusion, and there is definitely something for everyone - whether you are a meat lover, seafood lover, vegetarian, or a vegan! ThairoomGrand is located just SW of Don Mills and York Mills; there is more parking at the back if the front and side area is full. The front of the restaurant has a waiting area and also a cashier who takes care of all your takeout orders. Walking past the gold statue, you will see their beautifully renovated dining area. Very spacious, and great for large and small groups. All the food items here are great for sharing, I would recommend the following: 1. Grand Appetizer Platter has a great variety with shrimp satay, spring rolls, calamari (my fave!), crispy tofu and shrimp chips! There is vegetarian platter option as well... also really good! 2. Green Curry with Jasmine Rice - the curry is so creamy and sweet, not too spicy, goes perfectly well with rice and their housemade roti :D 3. Okay, you MUST ORDER the buttery roti. Eat it on its own or pair it with curry is fantastic too! 4. Coconut Sticky Rice with Mango is a MUST. So good. But you have to save room for this and share because the portion is huge! Highly recommend Thairoomgrand if you haven't been already! I will definitely be back :) Keep up the amazing work!

Yelp
A very solid 3.5 star location. I found the food here to be more reminiscent of Malaysian style than Thai style. The servers are top notch and a very clean comfortable environment. There are plenty of power plugs and very fast wifi if you truly have a need for speed. The appetizers were great - spring rolls, satay (beef, chicken, lamb and shrimp) were all a-ok. They come with a trio of dipping sauces for you to try out. The calamari and tofu... I am still on the fence on. The mango salad has a nice refreshing finish and tasty. Could do with a little more sauce but that's very subjective. The entrees. I fee the star of the show is the Malaysian red curry that has a little kick to it. The green curry was nice but too creamy in my books and could kick up the spice level a few notches (or maybe offer some peppers on the side to custom tune the dish) Pad Thai was ok. But truly overshadowed by the red curry. Hence my take this is more a Malaysian influence than Thai. If you have a sweet tooth, the mango purple rice dessert is a nice way to wrap up the evening with the freshness of the mango, the creamyness of the coconut milk and the body offered by the purple rice.

Yelp
The place has really nice decor, and lots of seating especially for large groups. However, I found the food to be very average tasting, the Pad Thai didn't really stand out compared to other Thai places in Toronto. Especially for the price you pay, it's not worth the value.
google avatar

Billy V.

Yelp
Wonderful restaurant with a classy Asian decor. The plate presentation was very good and the food was amazing. I'm guessing that everything on the menu is as tasty as the items we ordered.

Yelp
Ordered the Khao Soi noodles for lunch one day. Really well packed!! I also ordered a side of roti to enjoy that soupy saucy deliciousness that's always left over. I gotta say, the roti were amazing!! Not too oily at all. The soup base was quite salty so I did end up adding a bit of boiling water to it. I also wish there were more noodles. The beef was definitely tough. I had a few good pieces and a few I couldn't eat at all. It was a bit disappointing. I've had pad thai here before as well and it was alright. It wasn't anything too special and I think I definitely have a few other places in mind that I'd prefer if I was going for this particular dish. Give it a try. I think anyone who likes thai will find something delicious.

Cat G.

Yelp
For years I have always ordered take-out from this place . I think about 3 years ago they must have switched owners. Food went downhill but last week I thought we'd try them again. This time, the food was outstanding! Our regular order of spring rolls, mango chicken, devil beef, cashew chicken and chicken pad Thai was delish! Will be ordering from them again soon!

Yelp
We ordered the shrimp roll. This is a good size one, and not just shrimp in the centre. Glass noodles with Tiger shrimp and vegetables in Thai pastry with their Thai plum sauce. Very unique. So many flavours going on. For the main, I ordered the green curry with shrimp. There's at least around 7-9 shrimps in there. And lots of variety of veggies such as peas, carrots. The flavour of the green curry is just as good as Sukho Thai in downtown. The beef pad Thai is very unique too and on the sweeter side. The decors is nice and modern. I love the tiles on the ground and inside the washrooms. Each table have plugs and USB to charge your phone and free wifi. Service was nice, I've ordered a pitcher of beer, the waiter will always come back to help us refill with a smile. Will definitely be back again!

Yelp
It's ok. Like I've said before the Six has lots of Thai places to choose from these days. You have to be really good to distinguish yourself. Thair Oom Grand is A-ok but nothing special. I'd probably go back because it's clean and modern the service is good and the drinks are cheap. $5 for glass of wine or $3 for a big glass of juice. But the food is just OK. Coconut rice was a tad soggy but tasty. Pad Thai was also too wet. Beef chunks in the red curry were small and a bit tough (I really don't believe that it's AAA round like the menu says and I prefer the brisket that some other places use.) the amount of meat was also pretty skimpy. We also had the basil chicken which was the best of the three dishes. But I was put off a bit by the use of broccoli. Never been to Thailand but I'm gonna guess that they don't eat broccoli there. Still there was lots of basil flavour with a bit of kick so I liked it. Lychee juice was nice. Weird we had two takeout containers for leftovers but they didn't give us a bag.

Yelp
When our usual go to was closed for delivery last night we opted to try out Thairoom Grand and we're NOT disappointed that we did. Among our favourite spring rolls in the city, the Tom Yum soup was packed with veggies and the perfect amount of heat and the green curry was creamy and not shy on veggies either. May have created another go-to for us in future! Oh, and everything arrived piping hot -- perfect Dinner!

Yelp
This is a really good place with nice ambiance and authentic Thai food. Loved their Malay curry ..had it with chicken - if you like it spicy this is the perfect dish and they serve it with rice. Also had their veg appetiser platter which is also highly recommended if you are looking for veg appetisers

Yelp
Surprised I haven't reviewed this place yet. I have ordered delivery from them quite a lot. They have really good vegetable samosas and I order their signature pad thai with chicken and shrimp, which is quite generous in portion I believe. The soups like chicken coconut is good and I think the calamari is okay but the skewers are a bit too dry for me. Would recommend!
google avatar

Tiffany C.

Yelp
Had the pad Thai with shrimp and chicken delivered via Uber. The food was still warm when it arrived. The taste was okay, not the best but not the worst I've had either. I appreciate that they put the peanuts on the side and that the order arrived fairly quickly. My main issues would be that there were only 3 medium sized shrimps and that the noodles were starting to get soggy. (Not chewy enough) also the taste seemed a bit Americanized, compared to the pad Thais I had at other authentic Thai restaurants. I got it with a 75% off promo on Uber paired with a BOGO offer. For that, I thought it was a reasonable price but I don't think I'd pay full price for it.

Yelp
We came back again last night with our friends and had a wonderful time. The interiors are beautiful, and well decorated. The space is a bit small but can easily fit a small group. The food was very well made and tasted very well. We got a variety of items, started from the apps - cold rolls, veggie spring rolls and calamari. The entrees - spicy Thai noodles with veggies/sea food/chicken/beef, red curry vegetables, yellow curry shrimp, beef devil, Malaysian curry chicken. And a variety of drinks. The entrees were delicious, however be careful if it says spicy, it's spicy. There is a lot of flavor and heat to the food. The portion size is very good and all the curries come with a side of rice. It's a lot of food and had to pack a lot to take home. The restaurant is very clean and tidy. The washrooms are a bit small and don't have a changing room for babies. The owner/manager was very nice and would come to our table a few times to greet us and to ask us if everything was going well. The server seemed a bit overwhelmed with our large group and messed up a few orders and took a while for the bill. Definitely a place worth visiting for the food and excellent customer service. I will be coming back soon.

Yelp
Had really high expectation for this place after reading the 4 star reviews. Ordered takeout, but from the front, the restaurant had a very authentic Thai feel to it. It lives up to the Grand in the "Grand Thai room". They also have two self order machines at the front for take out orders. Service: the waiter at the front was friendly. Food: ordered the dinner for 2, which came with red Thai chicken curry, chicken pad Thai, two spring rolls, and an order of jasmin rice. Everything was ready after 10 minutes of order. The red Thai curry was nutty and had a good amount of chicken + vegetables in it. The chicken pad Thai was very sour and had limited ingredients. Most pad Thais I have had includes the basic rice noodles, meat, bean sprouts, and tofu. This one didn't had bean sprouts, lacking the crunch. And it's overly sour. Overall, I think this is an okay Thai place. Comparable to Thai express - a fast food chain. Unfortunately, the price point is quiet a bit higher than Thai express, even though the quality is similar.

Yelp
A friend recommended this restaurant to me. I ordered through DoorDash for pickup. The food is insanely delicious! The Papaya salad is sweet & spicy - seriously so good! I also really enjoyed the Garlic and Pepper Lamb w/ Jasmine rice. I can't wait to try other dishes from their menu. This is officially my favourite Thai spot! Oh and the restaurant itself is so BEAUTIFUL!

Yelp
Nice decor but my steak stir fry tasted like shoe leather. I sampled my friends dishes and they were way to sweet. Wait staff were good but the food was poor tasting.

Yelp
We went to this restaurant based on previous reviews. We were pleasantly surprised. The decor is beautiful and boots very comfortable. The server was so friendly and efficient. But it is the food that will keep us coming back. We had the cashew chicken, the masseman curry and the glass noodles and of course the spring rolls. Everything 'twas freshly made and delicious.

Yelp
Atmosphere/Service: It was so cute inside and cozy inside. The lights were dim, and the tiling was on point the front area's for take out orders, and there were ample of seating areas at the back. Some tables for bigger groups, and some booths for more intimate occasions. The service was really good as the servers knew what they were doing and about what to recommend. Menu/food: I love Thai food and they definitely do it better than most places I've been to. They have the right amount go spiciness to their food with the right amount of sweetness. Also their curry pad Thai didn't have that weird curry powder after taste that most places have which is a bonus. Their coconut rice is TO DIE FOR SOOOOO good I ate one whole bowl with nothing on it. Overall: Overall, definitely worth a visit MORE THAN ONCE! I definitely recommend their red curry, pad Thai, and coconut rice. They also have a drink menu you may want to consider

Yelp
Came here for an early dinner after work. Boyfriend didn't eat all day and definitely ordered too much for two people. We got the platter to share ($20). The calamari was delicious, chips were super crispy. The fried tofu was my favorite with the peanut dip. Mmm. For our entree we got the grand signature pad Thai. The flavours were fantastic, it was piping hot. I'm glad it wasn't overcooked and soggy. The portion was great for the price. I ordered the Malay curry with chicken. Let me tell you, the amount of chicken, curry and eggplant/potatoes was incredible. It was like endless dish. Technically, if you came here with two people you could get this and two rice and be more than satisfied. The decor was much nicer than I anticipated. The place was clean and great atmosphere for dinner. The venue looked like it has mostly take out orders. The server was super attentive and provides fantastic service. I would definitely come back again. Maybe order through Uber when I'm feel lazy. Overall 4.5/5.

Yelp
TLDR: 3.5 stars. Nice space with good service. A safe if uninspiring choice for orphaned SpringRolls customers or eaters who are cautiously exploring this cuisine with moderate expectations. I was there in February largely on the majority vote of my dinner party - people who 20 years ago wouldn't have set foot in a humble Thai eatery because it was "too smelly" but now that everything is unscented they are encouraged. Anyway... A nice place, from the entrance it looks like a traditional formal dinning room. A closer look reveals some shortcuts - the dim light may be a little flattering to materials & finish - nevertheless I like dinning in low light with maroon & brown hues. We appreciated the booths with comfy padded bench seating. Service was the highlight. Reservations by phone were a breeze & a table ready immediately. Our main server was great - a stout young Middle Eastern or North African fellow who's skill & manner suggested his travels had seen him work much higher end restaurants or hotels. Grand Appetizer Platter: Enough for a sampler between 3 people. Shrimp skewers were OK with the sauce, Calamari a little flat but passable with the dip, the Tofu & Shrimp Chips had no taste. IMO quality didn't justify the $20 despite adequate size. Green Mango Salad: Pretty OK, didn't really pop but it was within the standard range. Red Onions were more prominent than usual - we were all "Onion people" and were OK with this version, but those who dislike raw Onions should skip it. Signature Pad Thai: Got a sample of this, didn't stand out but taste was within the acceptable standards except it didn't include sprouts or lime. But the portion was a little bigger than averag. Massaman Beef: To me this just didn't say Massaman, too sweet & light, like westernized Khao Soi with an identity crisis. Taken on its own terms, it was a very tasty sweet curry with tender Beef. I imagine it pleases most customers (though it's now gone from the online menu) Beef Phad KeeMao: Just like the other mains, it falls within expectations for the kind of "accessible" Thai food you get in most places. You could taste & smell some Basil, other herbs & chili were just enough to know it's there without risking to offend anyone. Portion was pretty good for one. I disappoint more easily than other people when it comes to Thai. The rest of my party was more satisfied than me (see intro). It may seem I went into this with a negative attitude, but that actually developed later. A couple of hours after diner I went to a friend's place for a Pay-Per-View party and one guy brought his dinner from nearby China Gourmet - BlackBean Beef on HoFan - I sat quietly frustrated by how much bolder the smell was from his cold, $10 takeout than any of the items from our meal.

Yelp
Excellent food and fantastic service! We came here for a group family birthday lunch, and couldn't have been happier with the quality of food or service. Everybody loved their meal, and the kitchen was accommodating to those who required less spice/flavour (the kids). We really enjoyed the appetizer platters. The calamari was crispy and cooked to perfection, and the shrimp were so popular that I didn't even get a chance to try one! The curry Pad Thai had just the right amount of curry and flavour, and the mango chicken had a good amount of mango and veggies with the very flavourful and juicy chicken. I didn't hear any complaints at the table, and there was more than enough food to go around to make everybody full. The atmosphere is clean and warm, and service was really friendly. Our server, Simran, went out of her way to ensure that we were happy with our meals, and even gave us some free fried bananas with a candle to celebrate the birthday guest. Overall it was a great afternoon here. We will definitely be recommending this place to our friends, and will be visiting again very soon. Thanks for helping to make our birthday celebration so special!

Yelp
We went here today for dinner to try this new thai restaurant. The interior is nice as well as the washroom although there was no toilet paper at that point. Service is attentive but I am giving one star because of our disappointment with the food. 1st Drinks: I got a green tea for $2.50 which is typical just hoping that I get a hot water and just not warm water. The Nestea for $3.00 just taste like water. Appetizer platter: The grilled shrimp with pineapple is ok. The calamari is the same as any thai restaurant you go to. Shrimp chips is nothing special. Tofu is ok but bland I wish it would be more crispier. The spring roll I am not a fan of. The sauces are satay sauce which is not peanuty enough for me. The 2 other sauces taste the same and too sweet. For $20 for the amount you get is good but not for the taste. Chicken Curry pad thai $15. with extra 5pcs shrimp $4.00: First of all it would be ok to charge as the extra $ for shrimp if we are told ahead of time but we ask the server if we can have chicken & shrimp and she said yes it's possible as signature curry pad thai but we weren't told it is extra. Shrimps are big size though so it would be okay if it is fresh but it doesn't smell fresh nor does it taste fresh. The curry is mild and you barely can taste it. It taste more like a coconut cream pad thai. Signature pineapple fried rice for $16.: I was expecting it served in the pineapple but it wasn't the case but that's fine at least it has pineapple in it. However, the rice taste kind of spoiled and seems like they just tried to cover it up. We tried a few spoons but ended up taking it out and throwing it afterwards. It would be better if they just let us know that they are sold out of rice than to give us a spoiled rice. Overall I wasn't happy with this place and not going back.
