DO NOT book this accomodation. The owners are racist, condescending, and disrespectful which created a very uncomfortable atmosphere (including inappropriate signs in the communal bathrooms). Our room was shocking. Either a tree or the air vents created so much noise during the night that we didn’t sleep, and the showers (while hot) had the worst water pressure. The mosquito nets were also cheap, small and useless. The food and the staff were otherwise lovely, but it was so blatantly apparent that the owners considered their local staff as inferior, which disgusting to watch. In addition, the speech from the owner about the San People, again, was racist and degrading. I urge you to find some place else.

This place deserves a good rating. The new owners are doing their utmost to make it great again. We camped here and had electricity and hot showers. The pool, bar, WiFi, and restaurant were all excellent. The ablution facilities need a bit of TLC, but the owners are aware of this. The staff are amazing. A great spot for an overnight stay.

Ideally situated on the outskirts of Ghanzi I'm sure it would have been an interesting stop - had it been open. Having driven through the roadside gatehouse and down the narrow sand track to the gate we were greeted by a sign declaring the place closed. Wouldn't it make more sense to put the sign at the turnoff?

Hands down one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. After a long drive from Namibia, delayed by three hours at the border due to a non-functioning card payment system, we arrived at the camp at 8:30 PM, only to find it completely deserted. Despite signs saying the bar and restaurant were open until 9:30 PM, there was no one there, no one answering the phone, and no way for us to set up camp. We were left stranded without any help. The next morning, we went to the reception as soon as it opened at 8 AM, hoping to resolve the situation. Instead, we were met with hostility and lies. The receptionist, while polite, admitted she couldn’t do anything because the manager wasn’t responding to her messages. When we finally did get a response from the owners, they were shockingly rude, insulting, and dismissive. To make matters worse, they invented outright lies to justify their unprofessional behavior, rather than simply owning up to their mistakes. This level of arrogance and disrespect towards paying guests is simply unacceptable. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place at all costs. It’s clear they don’t care about their customers and lack even the most basic decency.

Highly recommend staying here. The camp site is beautiful, clean and has good ablutions. The sites are well-spaced. There is a lot of wildlife and birds. The restaurant has exceptional food, both dinner amd breakfast. It looks onto a water hole with animals drinking. All very peaceful, clean, and scenic bush experience. We were traveling back to SA from the Delta and hope to return on the next trip and stay longer.

The designated campsite was supposed to have electrical service, but on arrival, there was no power. Management informed us that no spares were available. During the early morning hours, our vehicle was locked, however the window was smashed, and the laptop and cash stolen. I would recommend staying clear as it is not safe.

A highlight of my trip, we travelled round Botswana for 4 weeks and spent 4 incredible days here. The amount of wildlife here was incredible and the managers were so knowledgable about them as well. You can tell they have a true passion for it and the vulture restaurant was like nothing else. It's incredible that many vulture species have very depleted numbers but here you could see them all (and regularly). All the staff were very welcoming and the time I spent here was a home away from home. 5* - will definitely come back

We are staying here because we are on a trip through G Adventures. We were told by our trip leader that this is the best accommodation in the area. |It is extremely hot, 100F, at the moment. The room is barely cool as the single ac unit is no where near strong enough for the room. Our room is #3 and is a “chalet “. Actually it is a vaulted ceiling with a corrugated steel roof.|The room has a concrete floor that looks like it has mud on it. It’s spartan and unattractive. The toilet has two very dark rust stains in it. ||I forgot to mention that once you find the gate for the lodge, it is about 5 miles off the highway on a very rugged road.
