Everything was perfect, beach is very nice, sunbeds are very comfortable. Food is very delicious souvlaki, potatos, garlic bread, feta cheese, octopus is very tasty, seafood plates are perfect, fresh fish every day, draught beer charma most best. The grill man is very kind and professional. Whole staff is kind and very nice, very professional. We had best day in crete here. Very peaceful atmosphere. I felt like a im home. Thanks you

The restaurant is beautiful and right at the beach. The owner, a very nice and bubbly gentleman with a mustache, welcomed us and chatted to us on a few occasions. What's amazing is that the sunbeds are free and the price only based on consumption, which I believe is the best. People will spend more when you don't have to pay for a "rent" for the sunbeds. We moved to the taverna for the lunch and everything was very fresh. I am sure they handroll the dolmadakia in the restaurant a few minutes before being served. The calamari also tasted very nice. Cretan salad tasted super fresh in every mouthful which was full in flavour. I ordered the pork souvlaki which was also good and local. I recommend this place if you you are in the area! Excellent value for money!

This place deserves a visit if you come to Crete. This is my second year and have to say it grows more and more. Beautiful, peaceful beach, amazing owners of the tavern offering great quality food! Octopus is a must try one.

Beatyfull place, the owner lady is a very nice personel. The menu has very large selection of sea food. Eating with view of Bay is great. After dining you can go to the beach. There is alson free parking for clients. The toilet was very clean.

This place is highly recomended. It is taverna with beutiful greeks exterier. The owners are very kind people. It make me fil like Im with well known people. Whole place is so sweet and peaceful. Parking is free, sunbeds too. Food are great and service is fast.

Sofia and Manolis are amazing people. very friendly and hard worker, they enjoy receiving people and you can feel the welcome and warmth from them. their staff are also very nice and smily. the food...is to die for. fish cooked on the barbecue in front of the restaurant. nice setting blue and white, on top of the beach with sunchairs belonging to them. it's free for clients....amazing. the beach is a beautiful black sandy beach and more natural with all conveniences from the restaurants nearby. it's a superbe spot in Crete. we loved to eat there several times and we will come back definitely

We loved this restaurant and beach. It was off the beaten path but still lively enough to be fun. The owners, Manolis and his wife and their sweet doggie are perfect and welcoming hosts. We spent many wonderful afternoons and evenings there during our time in Sfinari. We highly recommend anything Manolis grills - especially the fish! Cretan salad is gorgeous and generous. Fried zucchini yum! House wine was perfect and ice cold (perfect when you’re sitting at the beach). Oh how we wish we could return this year! Do yourself a favour and go here - oh, and the sunsets at this beach are the stuff memories are made of!

The welcome here was appreciated after our long drive, very friendly and no hassle. The whole place is lovely and those were some of the most luxurious loungers we've seen. All well spaced too. Earlier in the year the sunsets in sight, we visited in October when the sun dips behind the mountain but the sky was still beautiful. The fish was amazing, cooked just right on the open fire, and accompanied by a fantastic mixed salad. We really should have been here early in the day but our late afternoon/evening was worth it.
