Fantastic location with stunning sea views. The rooms are spotless and maintained to the highest standard. The swimming pool is without doubt the cleanest I have ever seen, and the entire property feels exceptionally well cared for. Friendly and attentive service throughout. A genuinely relaxing and first-class stay.

Review for the Residence (not the hotel). In the most beautiful part of Arcachon across the road for a beautiful beach with great sunsets and a few bars. Lovely pool, salt water. The rooms are rather small for 6 people (we were 5), with only one toilet. The Kitchenette is very small and not big enough for real cooking. You can only really boil pasta. A lot of the plantings are new so need time to develop. It feels like all the snagging isn’t done yet and a few things don’t work in the room and the staff are learning as they go. For instance they forgot to uncover the pool by 10am until I asked. All in all a nice place. Room to improve but not a high quality self catering option like for instance the Pine Cliffs in Portugal. Over priced.

A quintessentially French establishment where you can only get one towel per person for use at the swimming pool and the spa (from a matron located on a floor that’s counterintuitively different from those facilities) - except that of course you can get more towels if you do a little resourceful manoeuvre, which everyone does. A bigger issue is hygiene around the facilities: early morning we observed a worker hosing some organic overnight substances (let’s call them bird poo) from the pool deck into the pool. Chlorine is felt very strongly in the water, but still. You can’t beat the location though - five stars for that.

Fresh new hotel. Big rooms (double room called studio). Close to beach and nice restaurant. Parking option 15 euro underground garage. Cleaning during stay - additionally paid. I did not have breakfast there as it was too expensive for people that only need coffee and croissants. There was Kitchenette in the room with everything you need. Nespresso coffee maker with 2 Weldon capsules (so take your own capsules or buy it grocery). 20 minutes from Dune of Pilat. It is quiet neighborhood.Comfy beds. There’s swimming pool, bar and restaurant. I think there’s a gym as well.Outside hotel were 4 EV power stations but I think just installed so not operational at that time (beginning of September 2025)

I came with my mum, children and niece for a girls' weekend. We had a very nice relaxing time. The spa was very busy the night we arrived, but the next day from about 11h30 it was very quiet (the french are very strict about eating at 12h!). So it was very nice, almost empty!||The rooms were nice, it was quiet, just missing hair conditioner in the bathrooms-essential I think for a 4 star hotel. The breakfast was good and w had dinner one evening, which was also good, although a little fancy for teenagers!||The beach is a few steps away and I think it would be very nice in the spring with the use of the outdoor pool.||I would come back!

Our two-night stay at Hotel Thalazur Arcachon was a major letdown. We specifically requested a quiet room, yet both mornings, we were rudely woken up at 7:30 AM by staff loudly chatting right outside our door. After the first disturbance, we reported it to the front desk, who assured us they would address the issue—but they never did. The next morning, the same thing happened... This level of disregard for guest comfort is unacceptable, especially for a hotel of this standard. Worse still, the staff’s failure to follow up showed a complete lack of professionalism and care. If you're looking for a peaceful and well-managed stay, look elsewhere.

Property is poorly maintained, staff is careless and breakfast is terrible. Best way to spoil a great location.

Definitely a quite getaway with a high-end feel. This is not a party hotel in any way, but gives you a feel of contemporary adult, and yes, (most) guests past the middle of their lives. Very nice breakfast buffet, decently sized rooms, quite well kept, but could be fresher. Very nice and quiet pool area, and lots of spa and treatment options. 3-minute walk to the beach. Good wine cellar and lots of healthy options at the dinner restaurant with a menu that changes every day. As a 50-year old I have already decided I'd like to come back next year if things work out that way.
