A Hidden Gem That Keeps Getting Better! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Visited Thali Restaurant for dinner and was thrilled to see that they’ve recently added kebabs and tandoor to their menu. I tried the chicken tikka—and wow, it completely blew me away! Perfectly charred on the outside, juicy and flavour-packed on the inside. You can really taste the care and spices that went into it. And of course, no visit here is complete without their cold coffee, which has always had a special place in my heart. Creamy, chilled just right, and consistently amazing every single time. This place just keeps leveling up. Highly recommend if you’re looking for comfort food done exceptionally well! 👌🔥

Utterly disappointed! I honestly don’t think this review will make the slightest difference to the owners, but I still have to say it. I ordered the beef biriyani and what I got was nothing short of a disaster — basically beef curry dumped over tomato rice. This is not biriyani; it felt exactly like being back in a hostel mess. I’ve had the privilege of tasting biriyanis from across the country, and this one stands out as one of the worst — and to make it worse, from a so-called high-end restaurant. They boast about “40 years of taste”? I seriously doubt it. If what I ate is genuinely their idea of biriyani, then someone please correct me, because I cannot in good conscience call that dish a biriyani. Sorry, but absolutely unacceptable!

I ordered the Kerala-style beef fry with coconut pieces from Swiggy, and I'm really disappointed. The beef came in big chunks with absolutely no coconut in sight. The quality was also really poor. Definitely not worth the money. Don't order this!

Last time I visited this restaurant was around 10-12yrs back while I was a Management trainee in Malayala Manorama. This restaurant is in Kottayam, near to the Malayala Manorama office. The food is ok, nothing to hype about the place. Their dosa with chicken curry or kheema dosa is good. Meals is just normal, even the lime juice was not great. During lunch time, the place was crowded. I would not suggest this place as one to be tried, nothing much that would give you an experience either on the food or service. Amazing cafe in town with unique recipes and found hygienic and clean place. It was a quick visit without any pre-plans, I was impressed with recipes and atmosphere. Quality services and value for money.
