Thali Thali Game Lodge

We had a lovely time at Thali Thali Game Lodge, with a game drive that had our kids entertained and excited while seeing loads of new animals. After, lunch was also delicious and well portioned. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely a trip worth making!

We had an amazing day, we really enjoyed the time. Additionally we enjoyed every moment we spent. Great people very welcoming and friendly. Well organized team and Kitchen full prepared. And the most Important point the owner is very good person and he makes you fell it’s your own Game Reserve.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue! From start to finish, everything was absolutely magical. The food was beyond delicious, and the staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire weekend. One of the highlights for our guests was being greeted by giraffes upon arrival — such a unique and unforgettable experience! Later in the evening, a few curious bokkies even joined the after-party, adding a touch of wild charm to the celebration. A special thank you to Amalia, the owner, who went above and beyond to ensure every detail was just right. Her kindness, passion, and personal touch made us feel truly special and turned our dream day into a reality. This venue is a hidden gem — we couldn’t recommend it more highly!

The company I worked for decided to do a teambuilding for our store managers. Thali Thali was the perfect place to do this. Everyone was so welcoming, sincere, down to earth and super accommodating. The accommodation itself was so homely and comfy. The game drive added was a special touch to whole experience. We also had some visitors that came to joins when we braaied (Liefie, the deer and the gang). What a magical experience. A huge thank you to Frankie, Amalia and team for making sure that all our needs were met and made sure that we had the best stay!!

We booked a last minute overnight stay after checking out of our accommodation in Saldanha Bay. The staff were very helpful from the telephonic enquiry to our arrival. The property itself is very small therefore there isn’t much privacy unless you’re staying in the farmhouse. The shared splash pool is directly outside of the reception and restaurant. There’s also a kids play area on the opposite side. The restaurant is also open to the public. On the day we checked in there was a 60th birthday celebration being held. We stayed in one of the glamping tents which is small but has everything you need. The little buck were a bit problematic when we were sitting on the deck as they wanted to be fed or scavenge off the snacks when we went inside so we couldn’t leave the food unattended. One of the cottages opposite our tent was empty and the buck wreaked havoc there by toppling over the bin and rummaging through the trash for hours. We tried to chase them away but they just kept coming back. The game drive was nice and the giraffe sightings were particularly beautiful.

Had a BEAUTIFUL experience afternoon at the ThaliThali Game Lodge. We had an informative game drive with our warm and well versed Tour Guide Johnny. We then had dinner at their restaurant which was a tantalising experience. That Meat platter for two was so succulent and tasty,100/10 highly recommend !!!! I definitely recommend the lodge to enjoy with loved ones. Warm and friendly Staff and a beautiful ambiance.

They went above and beyond for my family and I. Friendly hart warming welcome. The game drive was informative, funny and safe. Highly impressed and so worth it.

Had dinner here and wow—everything was awesome! Super friendly staff, delicious food, great prices, and a really nice vibe. Definitely coming back!
