Tham Phung Chang

Went with my family and friend. We came around 1pm, we were the only ones there. They say to arrive before 2pm to get there in time for a tour, and best in the afternoon to avoid any group-tour crowds. The prices went up from what it was a few years back, now it's 500baht per adult (foreigner) and 100baht per kid (Thai). The price is still very much worth it, great experience. Our guide, Agamen, was very friendly and informative. He pointed out many details we would have missed and gave us a bit of history of the area. Everything is at your pace- no one is rushing you, which was very enjoyable. I highly recommend this stop 👌

Lovely monkeys around the entrance. They took us in the cave with a kayak and bamboo rafting after that we were walking in that cave in a small water. It was a very special experience. We had a headlamp and when we turned it off it was completely dark. It was very exciting. The cave is wonderful. The guide told us a lot of interesting facts about the cave. Most of the tour we didn't meet with other tourists which is good that it is not crowded. The tour was around an hour. Really worth the price.

Wonderful experience, beautiful memories Once you enter the cave, you will encounter beautiful stalactites and stalagmites, which are large in size and have unique shapes. It gives the feeling of walking in a completely different world

Oh wow! The most amazing caves to visit. 500tb each. Make sure you have water shoes/ flip flops on - almost knee deep. Just amazing and the guides are so knowledgeable. Boats and rafts too

This place is magical! The tour takes 1-1.5 hours and includes: riding a kayak, then switching to a bamboo raft, and then walking by foot in the water. The route is narrow and there are amazing stalactites and stalagmites in different colors and shapes. Local guides were great and speak decent english. We were a group of 5 adults and 5 kids (ages 2-10) and everyone enjoyed!! The price is 500 baht per adults (young kids are free), and everyone gets headlights. The walking part was easy for all kids, water reach knee height or lower.. We also saw many bats🦇 Highly recommended tour

The tour inside the cave (under the mountain) is a must have experience. The rafting and the walking through the cave are very joyful if you have not experienced such. The local guides are very helpful and friendly.

Phung Chang Cave is massive natural cave and is only accessible by guided tour where you are led along a running stream partly by canoe, then bamboo raft and then wading in knee deep water. We recommend wearing water shoes. The distance covered is 1.2km. We saw several rock formations that resemble elephants, lotus flowers, jellyfish and egrets formed from large lumps of carambola stone. There are also cavernous rooms, magnificent gold and red coloured walls and massive stalagmites and stalactites. We also saw rat-faced bats and Kitti’s hog-nosed bats, the latter being the world’s smallest known bat species and exclusive to Thailand. The cave is open daily from 08.30 – 16.00 hrs. Tour fee: 500 baht/person The tour of the cave takes around 1.5 hours. Unfortunately, you are not permitted to take photographs inside the cave. You can find Phung Chang Cave by walking from the town and you can arrange your visit directly with the staff at the entrance.

A small well kept cave, just off the main road, definitely worth a visit.
