Their tofu pudding is popular. Their banh gio’s (Vietnamese pork pyramid dumplings) are good but don’t come with eggs :(

The tofu dessert is always delicious and fresh. You can choose the hot/warm ones on the counter or the cold one in the fridge. It comes with orignal and Pandan flavor. The tofu section near the entrance is ready to eat, has a couple flavour including original and with mushroom. The sugar cane juice we thought it would be freshly squeeze, however when we tried it, it tasted like a lemon candy like drink which didn't taste like the real thing. The packaged clear noodles with sauce, friends said was good and refreshing. It is always crowded in there, small store with no seats. Service is always at a fast pace, and most people comes in here are regulars and know what they want. Try to know what you want to order before lining up, or else you will feel pressured. Only tried a small portion of items in this store, happy to come back to try more.

High quality, low prices! I have been back multiple times because I can’t get enough of the food here and the prices are amazing! Their staple fried tofu is delicious. They have awesome premade lunch trays with rice paper rolls, some tofu and delicious Vietnamese sausage at the counter. I suggest getting one for a great lunch at low cost. I order their cassava with coconut shavings every time because it is delicious and has a homemade goodness to it. Don’t miss out on their mung bean dessert cups near the cashier either. They have a good selection of take home frozen and fresh tofu products as well.

Google
The pandan tofu dessert is not as aromatic as I expect and has some weird taste. Fried banana is more enjoyable. They have so many side dishes and ready to eat Vietnamese food here. Price is fair, not cheap.

Google
They sell southern style of Vietnamese street food here. The food varies in quality. So stuff are good and some are lacking. The sticky rice is southern style and is good. The che dessert is okay and serves to quench your thirst and sweet cravings at the same time. Fried things are good too. The Tofu pudding and milk is definitly lacking. The price for things here are kind of expensive though. There are more things available on the weekends around afternoon time than on the weekdays

Quick in and out everyone seems a little rush and we have to wait in line. Tofu, cha lua and tofu pudding are very good. Not sure about the chao long doi, to me it does not taste very fresh. Staff is very friendly, cash only

Google
The 4 stars rating is for their fresh soya milk and fried tofu cube. We visited the store on a Saturday morning and it wasn’t too crowded. The staff brought out a tray of freshly made soya milk so I bought 2 bottles to try that out. I also bought a couple orders of regular fried tofu cube and we finished half before we even got back to our car. Recommended!

Google
My favourite place to get some yummy Vietnamese treats. They are famous for their fresh soy milk and tofu pudding, which come in original or pandan flavors. Very fresh and delicious, honestly the best in GTA They also have a lot of Vietnamese food, some of my fav is chè đậu trắng, sticky rice cake with Vietnamese ham, fried tofu, egg rolls, and rice cake (bánh cuốn). Very affordable and delicious. The service is fast and they take cash only. Staff is very friendly

Yelp
I love this place !! It's my go to for soy goodies such as pandan soy milk and pudding . So delicious and price is super cheap. Recently tried reg soya milk ( not as good ) , spring rolls ( SO good !) and fried tofu ( could be good with sauce )! Service is a bit chaotic . No lines and ppl just jumping in randomly . Reminds me of a street market where you gotta fend for a spot / to get served . Tried the three bean drink a few times very long ago . It was good but would be more amazing if had more liquid .. it was too topping heavy for us !

Yelp
A Vietnamese take out shop that specializes in everything tofu! Fried, soft, drunk, you name, they have it! Upon arriving, it's quite confusing of where I needed to stand/ go to order some fried tofu since I was wanting to buy other items as well. They had a sign saying to order tofu on one side, but no other instruction on how to get back into a regular line to pay afterwards. I gathered my items and went to the tofu side to order my tofu. Then went back to the cash register side to pay. It was my first time there so I didn't know there is a minimum of 2 orders for the tofu, and the staff just pointed to a sign to let me know, rather than verbally communicating with me. Things I got: Pandan soy milk 5/5 - This was a gamble as I don't really know what pandan is but the green colour really got me. And wow! It was so delicious with a sweet and mild taste of what I imagine is how pandan tastes like. Variety of tofu 3/5 - The tofu is alright, with slight flavouring to it. It's not a crispy tofu but kind of just a soft tofu with a fried yellow exterior. Spring rolls 5/5 - These were the best from the shop! Super fresh, hot and crispy. Definitely will be going back for these. Overall, I didn't come during a busy time so I'm not sure how the system/ organization of the store would work if it's packed. The food is good but the soy milk is even better!

Yelp
If you love Viet food and/or anything soy, this is your place. Their fried tofus are my favourite - very affordable and fresh. My parents and I have been coming here since it opened

Yelp
I had no clue what to expect from this place, but WOW was I blown away! The spring rolls were pipping hot when I opened it after paying for it. I thought of saving some for later, but my husband and I ended up eating all four in one sitting! The rice noodle/crepe dish was super fresh and and refreshing to eat on a summer day. I have no clue what this dish is called exactly and I am not sure if I am even eating it right. Regardless, I just poured the sauce all over the thing and put the food in my mouth, haha! It truly was a culinary adventure! I would definitely want to come back to this place and try other items on the menu... maybe even asking the ladies behind the counter to explain what I am looking at, haha. Or maybe I should just do some research on Viet food before I return ;) We shall see!

Yelp
Got the sugar cane at $4 all in. It wasn't great. There was some lemon & a slight bitter edge. There was a lot of ice & some fibre particles.

Yelp
Sometimes you just gotta treat yourselves! On route home from Guelph, we made a quick stop @thanhsontofu, located inside Mississauga Chinese Centre 密西沙加中國城 Thanh Son Tofu is a Vietnamese shop that specializes in tofu treats and many authentic and traditional Vietnamese good eats! Customers and staff were mainly speaking in Vietnamese... I have no idea what they were saying, and I don't know how to pronounce anything LOL After pointing around, and holding up the line, I found myself ordering the following * Sticky rice topped with Vietnamese sausage and ham * Grilled banana stuffed sticky rice (2pcs) with coconut sauce * Pandan flavoured soybean drink * Chè Bà Ba aka Taro, cassava, yams and tapioca in coconut milk * Steamed rice rolls with fish sauce * Crispy rice cake topped with shredded pork, chili flakes and a hint of sweetness * Glutinous rice cake sandwiched bby 2 thiccc slices of Vietnamese ham (my favourite!) CASH ONLY. I think it was worth a visit if you're heading to sauga area!

Yelp
Chaos and mayhem. Terrible service. I witnessed the lady before me being completed ghosted by one of the servers when she asked her how much something was. When it was my turn, the lady acted impatient when I asked for multiple items. Gave me back the wrong change and then told me I should be patient. Seriously?!? Customers are treated like beggars instead of paying customers.

Yelp
It's been a while since I had an authentic Che Ba Mau (Three Colored Dessert) and I finally found the one spot in the Greater Toronto Area that brings back great memories! Thanh Son Tofu is a longtime favourite staple in the Vietnamese community for its soybean items (soybean drink, tofu custard, fried tofu) and savory dishes. Their menu is minimal, but trust me, the quality is excellent in whichever item you order. There is always a line queue outside this place and for good reason! The service is quick and efficient, so don't worry about waiting a long time to get your Che Ba Mau or soybean drink fix!

Yelp
Food is OK. The shop looks clean, well-displayed. But the shop's owner should care about the staff. Some staff's ( not all ) attitude is very rude to the customers.

Yelp
Ever since my friend brought me here about 2 years ago, coming to Mississauga has become a regular visit. I wish they had another store in Markham. It's a small Vietnamese snack shop that specializes in Soybean drink and Tofu. They also make amazing Vietnamese sausages (Cha) that are so good and reasonably priced at $6 a piece. We always get a jug of their freshly made soybean drink with pandan flavoured which is one of my favorite drink! And I'll definitely pick up a package of Nem Chua (cured pork). This is a bit a pricey for $11 a package of 10 pieces but it's totally worth it because I can't find this anywhere else. There's always a line up here but the wait is fast since everyone knows exactly what they want and there are quite a few staff to take your order.

Yelp
What a vietnamese hidden gem. I just wish I discovered this area earlier. This store is located inside the Sino Mall. Everything in this store is soo fresh. They have tofu pudding in pandan flavor, soy milk in pandan flavor, so many different desserts, food, salad, and so much more. The steamed rice flour with meat inside were still nice and hot. The spring rolls, tofu, and other fried things were still warm and fresh. I couldnt try all of them. We didnt have anymore space in our stomach. The lady was nice and have so much patience answering all my questions. And the ambiance we feel were like we are inside grocery store in Vietnam because everyone speaks Vietnamese but they were so kind and warmth to us and recommending different food that we should try. Make us feel like we are part of their community. This is not a fancy store but definitely a recommended to visit. As for the food, I dont need to describe anything because it taste outstanding for me. I didnt try all of them and I only based on the food that we bought.

Yelp
Good food but it's not worth buying considering how incredibly rude the staff are there. I've been there multiple times and each time I've had a bad experience with them. They're rude and can quite frankly ruin your day. Not worth a visit.

Yelp
I finally found these rice crackers at this place. I haven't had these in a very long time the last time I had these were in Vietnam and I wasn't able to find them here. I came across this place on Saturday and found that they sell these fresh tasted so good and so addicting. Very crunchy and it has fry pork with a bit of spice definitely a good snack with some drinks

Yelp
This little Vietnamese place, does not deserve to be so tucked away! Your one stop shop for (almost) all your vietnamese salty & sweet goodies. It's a very 'no-thrills' atmosphere - but the quality of the food and drinks, take it. My staple is their fresh, in-house made, soy milk and the silk tofu dessert! Don't leave without it! In the fridge, you`ll find jugs of soy milk - pandan flavoured, regular, and unsweeten. AND TRY THE TOFU DESSERT. Silky smooth, and so good. You`ll also find a variety of desserts, ready-packaged appetizers like banh cuon (steamed rice rolls), to fresh fried tofu! The food is constantly being made fresh and topped off. If you come by during peak hours (late morning - mid noon), you`ll find there is always a line. Organization here is TERRIBLE. Don't expect anyone to actually follow the line. Especially on the weekends, there's usually a staff member at each station - the cash, dessert area, fried goods. Customers will go up to any one of them, place their order, and go over to cash. Every visit, there's multiple transactions going on, even they end up confused. Stand your ground, and politely nudge your way through. Customer service, like mentioned in other reviews, isn't exemplary. It's a very 'pop-in, pop-out', no expectations environment. But for the quality of the food, I remain a fan. Go get a jug of soy milk, or two!

Yelp
Great fresh hot hot dessert tofu, served with coconut milk and sweet sugar water, fantastic fried onion tofu and other favourite items of sticky rice and desserts. We love the steam cassava or Yuka served with salty sweet peanuts and coconut shreds. There are also steamed rice rolls - Bánh cuon and Banh uot - but you should order ahead to make sure you get some, they get sold out even if you order but don't come on time to pick up. They have some weekend items like congee and stuffed sausages but we've never tried them. CASH ONLY so be warned. Wish there were places like this in Toronto.
google avatar

Anna N.

Yelp
This is the go to spot in Mississauga for fresh soya milk, Vietnamese desserts, a variety of fried tofu and cha lua, and even some take away banh cuon and different kinds of sticky rice. Weekend mornings this place is always jamming. But food is freshly made throughout the day. Prices are reasonable. Coming from Scarborough, where we don't have many Vietnamese home made take out stores, every time I'm in Mississauga I always stock up when I'm here.

Yelp
I am conflicted about how to rate this place. The tofu is delicious but I felt that the customer service I received was terrible. On my recent visit, my mom and I wanted to buy some fried tofu. We were standing there for some time before we were served. When we were finally served, the older woman who served us (I think she's the owner's wife) was unsmiling and she made us feel like we were an inconvenience to her. On a previous visit my mom was given some broken pieces of tofu and when she asked if she could have some unbroken pieces instead (there were lots of whole pieces left), the older man (who I'm pretty sure is the owner) who was standing near the employee who was serving my mom said that the broken pieces are the same as the whole pieces. I was not too happy about the service. However, I did enjoy the tofu. They have several types of fried tofu. I tried the lemongrass chili fried tofu (3 pieces for $1) and the onion, vermicelli and mushroom fried tofu (5 pieces for $1). The lemongrass chili tofu pieces are bigger than the onion, vermicelli and mushroom ones. They are both delicious. The outside is crispy and the inside is soft and chewy. Not spongy tasting at all. The tofu pieces are very flavorful and they smell divine. You can really taste the individual flavors mixed into the tofu. FYI: There is a sign that says that the minimum order allowed for tofu purchases is $2. As good as the tofu is, I will not return because of the service.

Yelp
I make a trip here ever so often for the Vietnamese ham cause my loves the taste. However, I totally dislike the lack of organization and customer service provided. Place is super busy on the weekends since there are more variety of goods. I have been there on a weekday and at least 2 hours before closing time but they stop making certain items even their basic items. It annoying when you drive 45 minutes to get there to find out they will not be making anymore even though it's 2 hours to closing time. On the weekends, the food get replenished quickly but the store is chaos. And not the organized chaos type. They also have reduced the portion of food by using smaller container. When asked about the container size, immediately met with the rolling eyes and glaring by the staff. I do understand that you have to work with the economy and inflation of food items. Rather than raising their prices they chose to reduce portion size. It's obvious so why would you get so defensive about a question. Very disappointed that they do not care about customer satisfaction. Happens often to business that has taken off.

Yelp
Really good xoi khuc! Had the chicken one. Nice mix of rice and mung bean. Great for Vietnamese snack foods and desserts.

Yelp
This place is terrible when it comes to service. The line is everywhere and when it is your turn, they will literally cash the customer who they know first. Like wtf. I am usually very polite but brushed it off But then when the older lady with the sun-spot on her face cashed me out. She took my money, one 5$ bill, one 10$ and 1.10. Then for some reason she was like wait, wait let me check your order. Then she said I only gave her $6.10. I was like that's not right, are you sure, I had 15$ the whole time, where did 10$ go? But I gave her another 2x$5, then looked very closely at her hand gesture. She did something under the counter, then I knew. So I calmly looked very CLOSELY to the ground, NOPE did not drop it there. And went out the door. Normally in a rush, but I was upset, this is clearly intentional, and while I don't know her, I was disgusted by this ACTion. I was dupped once before at Thanh Son Tofu Sauga, and so did my mother, and a friend. So I went back to speak with her to ask her to look to see if she had indeed "dropped it by accident",knowing me I am not a rude person, I will not be confrontational. I went back I patiently waited for 5 minutes while the same old lady saw me to choose to ignore me. Then I wanted to talk to her, she said she did nothing wrong and keep avoiding me. OK? You did nothing wrong why not call me out? So I insist on talking to the manager, bc I notice surveillance. Why not reply the footage? She immediately try to shut me up by saying he is not in and went to cash register and REFUNDED me. Still proclaiming her innocence. Then I told her in a loud but non-threatening or demeaning tone, you have surveillance go over it again, if I am wrong I will pay you back and apologize. She said no thanks. ALL IN ALL this is not the first, it is the third time, I am all for small, local business, but thanks but no thanks. WHAT A SCAM, I am disgusted and this place? Is a total loser. So long fraudster, GTFOH.
google avatar

Winnie C.

Yelp
Skip this place if you can't speak their language. We waited in line to pay and they kept helping other customers who purchased fried tofu regardless if they were in front or behind us in line. We stood at the cash register. When we told them we waited a long time after the lady behind us was cashed out, one lady said she knows and another said "you have to tell me". If a customer is in front of the register and you still need to be told they want to be cashed out, you need to reconsider your service standards. We walked out without buying anything.

Yelp
Best Banh Gio and so many take out Vietnamese items!
google avatar

Mai K.

Yelp
Horrible service and disorganized. I haven't found a single stable item to love. Also, how did they manage to screw up the main attraction, a.k.a (soft and fried) tofu? This place is in need a serious "fix me up" work.
google avatar

Will D.

Yelp
Food isn't the best, but I think the selling point of this place is its convenience aimed towards Vietnamese culinary. Great selections of desserts, drinks, and tofu. They also have fresh soy milk which is a plus. Like I said before, the food isn't the best but it's nice to have a place to stop by in case you don't have any food at home. Prices are also pretty decent. My only gripe with this place is that it's always busy and the lines/ordering system is very disorganized. Also, there's a noticeable bias towards older Vietnamese people who often cut the line. If you do not know Vietnamese, be prepared to experience a language barrier as well. However, since this is a take-out place, service didn't really dismay me from my star rating.

Quân N.

Yelp
Very affordable and decent Vietnamese foods and snacks. Great fried tofu for such a low price. Service is fast and efficient but not very friendly lol. Would recommend.
google avatar

Lynz N.

Yelp
Be careful of your cash. Consistently given less change back. They are dishonest as hell. I use to like their tofu but no amount of ok tasting food can compensate dishonest business practice.
google avatar

Katt Y.

Yelp
I gave 1 star to this place as I have had bad experiences for so many times. Their products are fine, only problem is the mess of customers not get into the line, always make their purchase/ request right in front of the cashier counter, no one look at the people who are waiting at the line, just get what they wanted and chat with staffs. All the staffs are not helpful at all, they saw me and other customers who next to me, but they said nothing and without any eye contact, didn't serve us on sequences, made this wait much longer.
google avatar

Mano S.

Yelp
Good place to grab flavoured Tofu. They only accept cash. They also offer cane juice.
google avatar

Chris L.

Yelp
Will stop by here everytime I go to Mississauga Chinatown. Fresh batches of fried tofu continuously come out along with the Viet fish cake (cha ca). They also have regular or pandan tofu pudding (豆腐花) and have a wide variety of colourful desserts and drinks.
google avatar

Eric V.

Yelp
I have been here many times already, never had a chance to write a review on this place. This is the adult version of wonderland, well for me anyways. I could eat anything and everything in here. The cha chien is probably the best in town, for $5 you get the size of a pizza slice and as thick as a burger. The desserts are the best in town as well. The variety they have makes me very happy. When you look at the selection, you just want one of everything. They also have one of the best and cheapest tofu fa here. Everything in here is decently priced and very well prepared. Just an awesome place for authentic Vietnamese food (snack wise, not dishes) and desserts. Will i come back... i want to put my bed in here.
google avatar

Chopstickspoon K.

Yelp
I used to come here very often with my husband and my parents but I don't go there anymore. the tofu is not as good as before; sweet dessert are okay. the only one best would be pandan soya milk.
google avatar

Jen S.

Yelp
Nestled in Mississauga chinatown, this place has an extensive list of stuff. The only problem is that I don't speak vietnamese and some of the descriptions aren't clear. The fried tofu is very popular but I remember it being tasteless. The presentation and display of the product looks great. My only qualm is that they are not fluent in english and they don't speak cantonese. This place is really busy on saturdays when I've gone. You have to joustle your way around the place. This is one of the few places that offers pandan flavoured tofu pudding (Tao foo fa) but we prefer the original.
google avatar

Sophie N.

Yelp
THE HEAVEN OF VIETNAMESE FOOD! This is the place to go if you're looking for a vast variety of Vietnamese foods, I come here almost every sunday (though I'm biased because I'm vietnamese) and I get something different every time! The food here is very fresh, and the quality is top-notch. A one star deduction due to poor layout or enforcements of service. You will get line cutters a lot of the time, and I do see a bit of favouritism of Vietnamese customers. If you don't speak Vietnamese, try to pick the younger ones, as they do understand english better. Looking forward to coming here again! :)
google avatar

Nick P.

Yelp
I tried to go here, but they decided to close 45 mins earlier. I don't care, but that's not how you do business.
google avatar

Tiena S.

Yelp
this place is very terrible!!! they serve rotten Vietnamese subs. i went with my brother to buy some and when we took a bite, the meat was rotten and we had to throw it out. i will not come back again. highly not recommended!!!
google avatar

Jenny T.

Yelp
They have be thui (roasted veal served rare). That alone warrants the 4 stars. It's only available on weekends but go Friday to be safe. I went Friday at 5pm and saw only 10 portions. $14 per box serves around 4 ppl. If you're a pig like me, then it's enough for 2 ppl. Their iced coffee was delicious. Better than Second Cup's iced coffee!!! They carry de xao lan and tiet canh vit on weekends too. Saw only 5 boxes of tiet canh though so arrive early!

Tee B.

Yelp
Good and Fresh food, very bad service and manner. I always go to this shop to buy Vietnamese food, sweets and fried pork cake. They have fresh summer role only in the weekend. All of their food is fresh and really delicious!!! 5 Star for the quality of their food. The shop also got the bad part which makes me stay away from it. I haven't go back to shop there for a while. I was born and raise in Southeast Asia the food that I used to is really similar to the one they have here. There is no obvious problem for me to just pick the food up and pay for them at the cashier. When I go their really often lately on the weekend and weekday, I often overlooked or even cut the queue by Vietnamese speaking people who talk to the merchant and cut the line. The cashier doesn't care about it until I say that I come before they say sorry. This happen for at least 2-3 times in a row only this month. The second thing is that when I ask the owner about their extra food or the relationship with the shop with the same name in Seattle. The woman behind the counter is obviously ignored me and put the younger lady who only say that they accept only cash for payment not credit or debit!!! It prove that they barely understand English or even care about customer outside their ethnic group who cannot speak their language (I can read it from their face). However, My comment will probably not effect their business since the majority customer is their own kind who always cut the line of people from outside their ethnic group. If you want to experience the shop, you should educated yourself about Vietnamese food a little bit. So that the only thing you have to do is to pick and pay... 1 for service mind and employee manner.

Thao H.

Yelp
Quality Cha Ca (Deep Fried Fish cakes) !! have gone here for years, excellent vietnamese dessert selection, and price is just right. Fresh sweet sticky rice and I really like their spring rolls as well and the tofu is yummmmmm, I don't even like tofu so that says a lot.

Snoopy 5.

Yelp
I go here at least once a month. We drive about 1.5 hours to get here. I usually spend $90-$125 each time I am here. The cashier always tries to give me something for free. Some desert of which I did not purchase etc. If I don't buy it, I don't eat it so it is useless to me. Today, I spent over $120 and she tried to give me a container of day old tofu. It was in the fridge. I never buy the tofu. It is supposed to be hot and that is how you sale that type of tofu. To me if you want to give me something, why not give me one of the things I bought free of charge. Why give me something I have no interest in???? If you want to get rid of it, throw it into the garbage. I am not a garbage can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is a slap in my face when you do that. Please do not do it!!!!! Next time if I walk into the store and it is empty except me and all the people were doing things and didn't even serve me, I will walk out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
