That Place

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ That Place in Mascot is such a unique café — it’s the only spot I’ve been to where you can sip your coffee next to a playground, which makes for such a fun experience. The food is just as impressive! Their pancakes were stacked tall, super fluffy and topped with Nutella, maple and Biscoff — honestly some of the best I’ve had. The coffee and juices were delicious, and they also have a great range of savoury dishes. I really enjoyed the sweet potato fritters and the Greek salad. Definitely a place worth adding to your list!

Had a fantastic brunch at That Place in Mascot. For food we ordered the French Toast - golden, crisp on the outside, soft inside, and topped with fresh berries and fairy floss, and the Breakfast in Dublin, which came with perfectly cooked eggs and a generous serving of all the classics. We added avocado and kale, which balanced the plate nicely! The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with a strong local café vibe, and service was warm and attentive. Definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful visit to That Place cafe in Mascot - the food was incredible and we were so full by the end. The service was also fantastic, with the waiter regularly checking up on us and offering recommendations. We'll be returning and would recommend anyone to try this cafe!

Everything is perfect, from welcoming service to the atmosphere and vibe. The food is absolutely amazing, eggs benny with salmon and the chicken pasta with additional salmon and sriracha is heaven. The juices are fresh and tasty, This will be my new go-to cafe now. We came here 3 days in a row because it’s that good

I’ve gone there twice now and my girlfriend 3 times. I had ‘That big breakfast’ today and it was exactly what I was hoping for. The staff here are also very friendly and welcoming. A highlight for us are their Juices and smoothies, the keto smoothie I had last time was amazing and the ‘green goodness’ juice I had today was delicious as well with no fruits/flavours overpowering the others. Overall a great experience, and would recommend to anyone going around the area!

Absolutely lovely spot to eat! I’ve been here a couple of times with my boyfriend, and everything we’ve tried has been delicious and super fresh. The food is great, but the real stars are definitely the juices and smoothies so refreshing and full of flavor! On top of that, the customer service is always outstanding. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and make you feel truly welcome every time. Can’t wait to go back!

Such a lovely cafe, celebrated my birthday there. The staff were lovely and the food was absolutely delicious. I loved their French toast amazing. I loved how it was next to a park area. We sat outside and was able to watch over the kids as they played. Highly recommend.

Just look at the plate in the pics and you can tell That Place is quality. Big selection for breakfast and brunch, great coffee too. Highlight was the Irish Breakfast or Breakfast in Dublin. Black Pudding needed to be thicker sliced but that was my only complaint. Little while out of the CBD, but near the airport so could be a first or last stop.
