THB Lanzarote Beach

We stayed at THB Lanzarote Beach in Costa Teguise in December. We booked a room with a view of the pool, but were first given a room overlooking the parking and bins. It was very noisy at night because staff were throwing empty glass bottles into the bins around 2am. We tried to report this at reception, but at first we were ignored and fobbed off. Eventually, we were moved to a different room with an upgrade, which was much better. The hotel facilities were nice, with a good pool area and clean rooms once we were moved. The food was good, with a decent choice and tasty options. Staff at the restaurant were friendly and helpful. That said, the hotel did not feel like a proper 4-star. The initial room and the way our complaint was handled left a bad impression. It is worth checking your room carefully on arrival. If you get a good room, the stay can be pleasant, and the facilities make it easy to enjoy the holiday. Just be aware that noise and poor service can be an issue, and it may take persistence to get things sorted. We were glad when we finally got a better room.

The hotel is old not like the r pics the only good thing is the proximity to the beach and shops

What a lovely little place. On reading previous reviews I was worried at what I was coming to. Room lovely with a sea view. Staff really friendly. Food is ok you wouldn't starve 😋. AI drinks are always local. If you want premier you always pay extra which is the same in all hotels. I always like to taste the local drinks when in another country. So anyone coming out here don't take notice of all the negative comments. Wondering if they actually stayed in the same hotel as me🤷.

Couldn't fault our stay at the hotel. Stayed for 6 nights. Arrived early to check in and was called when room was ready. Room was clean, modern and had all the amenities you need. Beautiful sea view from room, loved sitting out on balcony early in the morning and watching the sunrise. Food was good. Lots of choice in the buffet for breakfast and evening meal. Drinks were reasonably priced as we were only half board. Great location, steps out of the back of the hotel take you straight on to the promenade and to the beach. Fabulous hotel

I dont understand the negative reviews. Maybe its because the weather has not been kind and its a little chilly but this is a lovely hotel in a lovely area |Its definitely deserving of its 4 stars. The staff everywhere are friendly and helpful. The pool looks lovely but im afraid its a little too cool for me to venture in |We are al and i have no complaints at all its not award winning cuisine but its tasty and there is always something to eat|The room is comfortable and the mattress is really good yes there are some repairs needed but they are really minor and basically down to wear and tear |I was a little worried seeing the spate of bad reviews but if you are going please dont worry im having a lovely time x.

A great spot to stay. Good, clean rooms, beds comfy, lovely shower, super hairdryer! Food is perfect, staff are very helpful and a brilliant location! |Don’t hesitate booking…. Pool view rooms are ideal. Plenty on offer.|Room has a great mini kitchen - you can cook, make coffee, toast, great fridge. |Lift access and back door goes right on to the beach and prom.

The staff are lovely at the hotel and the breakfast had a great choice and the location is very central and 2 minutes to the beach but the hotel is in bad need of a refurbishment, especially the pool view rooms. Our room had a bad smell and the beds sank in the middle, the AC was noisy and didnt actually cool the room, thankfully we could leave the balcony door open. The gym also needs upgrading, it is very small with most of the weights missing, but great location if you want to go for a run. Sadly I wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

Bit apprehensive over some of the bad reviews, but no need to worry. Stayed in block 4 with upgraded sea view. Cracking modern room with small kitchen and view over front. Nice bed and room cleaned every day. Staff very helpful and friendly during stay.|Did not eat there so cant comment on the food. Great location and loads of places to eat and drink within a small walking distance.|Would I stay again ....... yes
